Abstract

This research departs from the problem of discussions on Foreign Workers (TKA) and China's claims to parts of the North Natuna Sea (LNU) area. Actively several parties who are considered state actors, such as government officials and non-state actors such as politicians, academics, and also ordinary people shape this discourse. The research method used integrates text semiotic methods with post-structuralist securitization concepts. Semiotics is used to select and analyze signs in text and non-text form as well as post-structuralist securtization as a model in analyzing these signs.These actors produced a number of signs (signs) in the form of indices, icons and symbols which were narrated both orally and in writing to represent the discourse of the "Chinese Threat" in the Natuna and Foreign Workers (TKA) cases. The results of the analysis show that the signs produced in the Natuna case by government elites (state actors) are the same as non-government elites (non-state actors). The government is directing the Natuna case as a securitization issue. Different facts were obtained in the case of Chinese foreign workers. Non-government elites (non-state actors) have the same view that this problem must be considered as a threat and included in the securitization process. Several social signs such as the death of Indonesian workers, wage discrimination, and arbitrary treatment should be used by the government to frame the case of foreign workers as a discourse of securitization. On the other hand, government elites (state actors) construct a narrative that Chinese foreign workers are in accordance with statutory regulations.

Abstract

The annexation of students' reading comprehension skills is very helpful in improving student learning outcomes, so that reading skills must be mastered by students who are in elementary school. descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection techniques obtained from observation, tests, and interviews. The observation process is intended to obtain responses from the subjects and objects of research on the ongoing learning process. The interview process aims to obtain more detailed data regarding the application of the K-W-L method. On the test technique to obtain the extent to which the learning outcomes obtained by students after using the K-W-L method for Indonesian language material. The data analysis technique used was Milles's technique, namely 1) Putting together all primary data and secondary data, primary data was obtained from observations and tests and secondary data was obtained from the results of interviews conducted by researchers with class III teachers. 2) Data reduction or classification and elimination of data that is less needed by researchers. 3) Presentation of data, namely describing data descriptively. 4) Draw final conclusions. The results of the research are the application of the K-W-L method in learning Indonesian which is able to improve students' reading comprehension skills. This is evidenced by the average Pre-Test score of 70 increasing to 82.40. So it was concluded that the K-W-L method increased student learning outcomes in terms of the KKM limit that was exceeded, namely 31.60% to 84.20%.

Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian dilakukan ini karena minimnya literasi siswa Indonesia terutama menulis dalam menuangkan ide ke dalam karya tulis. Cerpen dipilih karena membutuhkan waktu yang relatif singkat, mudah dipahami, dan alur cerita yang menarik disertai gambar – gambar untuk membantu visualisasi pembaca. Menulis adalah dasar dari literasi selain membaca dan pembelajaran menulis menjadi keterampilan yang harus dikuasai siswa di dalam Kurikukum 2013. Untuk meningkatkan kamampuan tersebut diperlukan metode Project Based Learning (PjBL) atau Pembelajaran Berbasis Projek yang terbukti efektif. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan adalah quasi eksperimental design. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui keefektifan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL) terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelan IV MINU Ngingas Waru pada pembelajaran menulis cerita pendek (cerpen). Intrumen dalam penelitian ini berupa instrument tes. Pengumpulan data diperoleh melalui hasil pre test sebelum penerapan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL) dan post test setelah model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL). Rata – rata nilai yang didapat pada hasil pre test adalah 68,93 dan pada hasil post test adalah 76,63 sehingga mengalami kenaikan sebesar 7,70. Jadi, disimpulkan bahwa impelementasi model Project Based Learning (PjBL) pada pembelajaran cerpen berhasil meningkatkan ketrampilan menulis siswa kelas IV MINU Ngingas Waru Sidoarjo. Abstract

Socah adalah salah satu desa yang terletak di Kabupaten Bangkalan yang letaknya sangat strategis. Letaknya yang dekat dengan Kampus Universitas Trunojoyo dan juga dekat dengan perbatasan antara pulau Madura dan pulau Jawa, menjadikan masyarakat socah sedikit banyak terpengaruh oleh keragaman bahasa yang datang dari luar pulau Madura sehingga terjadi pergeseran bahasa. Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif. Dalam penelitian ini, data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan dua teknik yaitu : observasi dan wawancara. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa factor yang mempengaruhi terjadinya pergeseran bahasa Madura ke bahasa Indonesia adalah Pertama, anggapan bahwa bahasa daerah dapat mempengaruhi Pendidikan, Kedua, migrasi penduduk, Ketiga, perkawinan campur (beda daerah dan suku) Keempat, kelas social dan latar belakang Pendidikan. Kelima, tidak fasih berbahasa Madura yang halus. Adapun upaya pelestarian bahasa Madura yang dilakukan adalah Pertama, mengadakan suatu aktivitas yang banyak menggunakan bahasa Madura dalam proses pembelajaran bahasa Madura di sekolah, Kedua, memberikan pandangan bahwasanya bahasa daerah tidaklah mutlak memberikan pengaruh negatif terhadap pendidikan dan Ketiga, memperkenalkan dan mengeksistensikan bahasa Madura yang halus.

Abstract

Abstract Islamic studies that discuss the issue of traffic education in contemporary Islamic education curriculum in Indonesia are necessary to be followed up more seriously. In this context, the main purpose of this research is to find out what and how the problems of traffic as well as traffic education in Indonesia? What is the urgency of developing a traffic education curriculum in an Islamic perspective? This paper is written using qualitative data which is based on references and literature on books, news, journals and opinions in the mass media and other relevant sources in the study of the development of the traffic education in contemporary Islamic education curriculum in Indonesia. The results of the study show that: First, the problem of traffic education in Indonesia is very complex. From day to day, we know that the number of accidents has not yet dropped significantly.Even the highest accident rates occur in the age of students and school children. Secondly, the development of a traffic education curriculum in an Islamic perspective is very urgent given the many problems caused by the many factors underlying traffic accidents. Muslims and Islamic education institutions in this country should take a role of the awareness of students and schoolchildren to carefully keep trying to realize, know and obey all traffic rules for the safety and common good. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan guna merancang media cerita bergambar ’Ciko Gemar Literasi’ untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi membaca siswa di sekolah dasar. ’Ciko Gemar Literasi’ merupakan media cerita bergambar yang berisi kisah edukatif anak dengan materi teks dongeng untuk siswa sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Research and Development (RnD) dengan model ADDIE. Adapun langkah-langkah dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan 1.) analyze 2.) design, 3.) development, 4.) implementtaion, dan 5.) evaluation. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi, angket, dan tes. Dalam penelitian ini, teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif dengan skala likert dan perhitungan skor N-gain. Adapun populasi penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas 3 di SD Negeri 2 Gebangangkrik dengan sampel jenuh atau menggunakan seluruh anggota populasi sebagai sampel. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media memperoleh nilai validitas yang valid, yaitu pada validasi materi sebesar 94 dan media sebesar 86,66. Media ini memperoleh nilai kepraktisan sebesar 95,59 dengan kategori sangat praktis. Berdasarkan hasil tes, media ’Ciko Gemar Literasi’ memiliki tingkat keefektifan tinggi dalam meningkatkan kemampuan literasi yaitu dengan perolehan skor N-gain sebesar 0,82.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan strategi pembelajaran Mind Mapping pada materi bagian tubuh tumbuhan beserta fungsinya serta dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) siswa kelas IVB MIN Kota Banjarbaru. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pembelajaran IPAS yang monoton, menyebabkan 80% siswa belum mencapai ketuntasan minimal pada ulangan harian terkait materi IPA. Penelitian ini menggunakan model penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) Kurt Lewin yang melibatkan tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi dalam setiap siklusnya. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi, dan tes, dan dianalisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan strategi Mind Mapping berjalan efektif, ditandai dengan peningkatan skor aktivitas guru dari 84 pada siklus I menjadi 88,9 pada siklus II, serta peningkatan skor aktivitas siswa dari 75 menjadi 89,6. Selain itu, persentase ketuntasan siswa meningkat signifikan dari 52,6% pada siklus I menjadi 89,5% pada siklus II. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa Mind Mapping tidak hanya membantu siswa memahami materi dengan lebih baik, tetapi juga meningkatkan hasil belajar secara keseluruhan.

Abstract

Objective this study is to analyze problem based learning models effect towards skills of problem solving in learning Physics. Problem based learning in physics learning can trigger students to participate in the teaching and learning process actively. It can motivate students to increase interest in scientific problems that occur and simultaneously stimulate skills in solving scientific problems. Method used in this study is meta-analysis, namely by conducting a literature review of 15 scientific articles that several national and international journals have published regarding problem based learning models impact on skills of problem solving published from 2018 to 2022. Results of this research are a problem based learning model that has a significant impact on improving problem solving skills in learning Physics. So, problem based learning model able to be implemented in learning Physics to enhance problem solving skills. Novelty of this research is a type of scientific article that is used not only published by national journals but also published by international journals published from 2018 to 2022

Abstract

This study aims to unravel the phenomenon of digital society in understanding and learning Islam through the internet. The current human tendency to rely on information available through smartphones has given birth to the reality of shifting learning patterns that do not have to meet directly with the teacher. Even the presence of a virtual teacher is considered sufficient to justify an excellent religious way. This study uses a qualitative method with a netnographic approach that intends to reveal social phenomena in cyberspace. This method uses a particular analytical technique offered, AMS (Siber Media Analysis), which goes through 4 levels: Media room level, media document level, media object level, and experience level. This study found that online internet users can access information about religious rituals and procedures for doing them. So, internet users are part of the world's religious adherents who carry out the same religious creed. On the other hand, religious authority as a source of knowledge in learning Islam on the internet is not always institutional but can also be individual. As a result, the Islamic pattern of understanding Islam among netizens is more accessible, inclusive, egalitarian, and shows multidimensional interactions between individuals and other religious groups.
