Abstract

Observations in this study were about variations in the combination of solutions of  fruit Basella alba Linn, tubers  of Curcuma longa Linn, leaves Dracaena angustifolia as natural alternative dyes, with variations in the order of administration of solutions that produced contrasting preparations of plant tissue preparations of spinach stems (Amaranthus spinosus L). The study aimed to determine the effect of interaction variations from the combination of  Basella alba, Linn fruit solution, tubers of Curcuma longa Linn, Dracaena angustifolia leaves on the level of clarity of plant tissue preparations, variations in the order of giving the best solution can be used as natural alternative dyes and the results of the study can be used as a medium for high school biology learning. This study was presented using qualitative descriptive data processing using 6 treatments with 3 replications with 2 negative control without using dye and positive control using safranin dye. This research was conducted at the Integrated Science Laboratory, Muhammadiyah Metro University. Based on the data analysis, the results showed that the variation in the order of administration of the solution affected the clarity of the preparations. Variations in the order of tubers of Curcuma longa Linn solution,  Basella alba, Linn fruit, Dracaena angustifolia leaves gave the best effect on the clarity of plant tissue in stems of spinach (Amaranthus spinosus L). The results of this study can be used as a medium for learning biology in the form of preserved preparations.Kata kunci: Jaringan tumbuhan, buah binahong, kunyit, daun suji, Pewarna alami

Abstract

Pada nilai A menurun 4,67%, A- menurun 6,75%, B+ menurun 1,9%.

Abstract

Abstract: Living things need nutrients to grow and their endurance. The presence of nutrients around plant roots is very important for microorganisms as biological control agents and also for plant pathogens. PGPR Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR) has a role in increasing plant growth, crop yields and plant growth. Bacteria in PGPR can actively colonize the rhizosphere. Bamboo roots are colonized by many bacteria (Pseudomonas fluorescens), these bacteria can play a role in increasing the solubility of P in the soil, certain strains of Pseudomonas sp. can prevent plants from fungal pathogens that come from the soil. Rhizobacteria from the Bacillus spp. and Pseudomonas spp., able to dissolve phosphate, while the Serratia spp. group, in addition to being able to increase the availability of P (phosphate) can also fix nitrogen and be able to synthesize IAA. Microbes with the ability to produce phytohormone are an effort to help in increasing plant growth.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to see the effect of integrated approaches and creative thinking on students' scientific communication skills. The expected benefits of this study are to get creative thinking and have scientific communication skills for students in learning. The design of this study was pre-experimental with a literature review. Research results obtained based on literature review include: Learning with an integrated approach can improve students' creative thinking skills; Creative thinking skills can be improved by brainstorming and guided inquiry learning and can facilitate students in scientific communication, thus it is concluded that learning with an integrated approach can develop students' scientific communication skills.

Abstract

Abstract: In the era of modern industrial technology 4.0, educators are required to be able to develop skills in making learning media that will be used with the help of technology. Comics are popular among teenagers where high school students are included. One type of comics, digital comics, has recently become a global trend, which is useful for use as an effective learning medium. To take advantage of this great opportunity, this study aims to analyze the importance of developing digital comics. The making of this digital comic uses the 4D model which is a development model that consists of 4 stages.

Abstract

Abstract: The microorganism consortium is a mixture of microbial populations in the form of communities that have cooperative, commensal, and mutualistic relationships. Naturally bacteria are able to communicate with each other. Synergism is two species that live together and carry out activities that do not interfere with each other, but their activities are in conflict with a mutually beneficial sequence, so the living relationship between species is called synergism. Antagonism expresses an ial relationship. One species produces something that poisons the other species, so the growth of the latter species is very difficult. to support the interaction of several types of microbes that are mutually beneficial / synergistic. To serve antibiosis / antagonism of several types of microbes.

Abstract

Abstract: Ruminant feed consists of banana stems and rice bran as a concentrate. Banana stems containnutrients including dry matter (BK) 9.8%, total ash 18.4%, crude fat (LK) 3.2%, crude fiber (SK) 31.7%,and crude protein (PK) 8 8%. And rice bran contains protein 13.11 - 17.19 percent, fat 2.52 - 5.05 percent, carbohydrates 67.58 - 72.74 percent, and crude fiber 370.91 - 387.3 calories and rich in vitamin B,especially vitamin B1 (thiamin). The fermentation process uses a konsorsia bacteria indigen LCN so that thefeed is more easily absorbed by ruminant.

Abstract

Abstract: The science learning process emphasizes providing direct experience to develop competencies in order to be able to explore and understand the nature around scientifically. students can gain direct experience, so they can add strength to accept and apply the concepts they have learned. Integrated science learning deals with the way students think and develop critical thinking skills. These skills include the ability to think critically, think creatively, and problem solving abilities. Modules are printed teaching materials that are designed to be independently studied by students, Module development is done to improve students' critical thinking skills.
