The Influence of Cadmium Heavy Metal on Vitamins in Aquatic Vegetables Widowati, Hening

Abstract

The absorption of cadmium heavy metal in 3 (three) kinds of aquatic vegetables; water lettuce (Limnocharis flava), water convolvulus (Ipomoea aquatic Forsk.) and watercress (Nasturtium officinale R. Br) was studied to determine the influence of the contents of vitamins A and C. The purpose of this research was to identify the accumulation of cadmium in the organs of the aquatic vegetables, and their influence to the contents of vitamins A and C. This research was conducted by employing the factorial experimental design of randomized block design (RBD) with 3 (three) factors. The data was analyzed by regression to detect the correlation and contribution of cadmium influence on the aquatic vegetables. The accumulation of cadmium in the 3 (three) aquatic vegetables was mainly occured in the stems and leaves. Water lettuce has the highest accumulation of cadmium, followed by water convolvulus and watercress has the least. Cadmium is responsible for the declining levels of vitamins A and C.

Abstract

The aquarium is a medium made of glass, which is currently favored by ornamental fish enthusiasts because apart from being easy to make an aquarium, it is also practical. Aquascape is the art of creating underwater scenery in an aquarium area. To ensure the success of creating a beauty from the art of aquascape, it takes many balance factors in the ecosystem of an aquarium. The objectives of this study include knowing whether there is an influence of pumakcal variation on the growth of Flame Moss in aquascape with poor sand media, knowing the most appropriate pumakcal variation for the growth of Flame Moss and analyzing the potential of learning resources for biology learning material for growth and development. From the results of this study, it was found that variations in pumakkal liquid fertilizer had no significant effect on the growth of flame moss plant height, and variations in pumakkal liquid fertilizer had a significant effect on water pH in flame moss plants. The variety of isolates of pumakkal fertilizer with P4 treatment which gave the best effect on the growth of flame moss plant height was the highest average of 6.88 cm. And the variation of pumakkal fertilizer isolate with P5 treatment was found to have the highest pH value of 7.4. And research results can be used as potential sources of learning biology material for growth and developmen. Kata kunci: aquascape, flame moss, organic fertilizer, pumakkal

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui: (1) Pengaruh metode pembelajaran mindmapping‎ terhadap keterampilan berpikir ‎kreatif peserta didik pada materi Invertebrata (2) Pengaruh motivasi belajar peserta didik ‎terhadap keterampilan berpikir ‎kreatif peserta ‎didik pada materi Invertebrata (3) Interaksi antara metode pembelajaran mind mapping dan motivasi ‎‎belajar yang berbeda terhadap kemampuan ‎berpikir ‎kreatif peserta didik pada materi Invertebrata. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah rancangan penelitian eksperimen semu atau quasi eksperiment. Desain yang digunakan adalah Pre Test-Post Test Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua peserta didik Kelas X MIPA di SMA Negeri 6 Metro Tahun Pelajaran 2019/2020 yang terdiri dari tiga kelas. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak dua kelas. Setiap pembelajaran diwakili oleh satu kelas. Kelas X MIPA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen metode mind mapping, dan Kelas X MIPA 2 sebagai kelas kontrol metode konvensional. Jumlah peserta didik Kelas X MIPA 1 adalah 28, Kelas X MIPA 2 berjumlah 26 peserta didik. Hasil analisis menunjukkan: (1) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan terkait metode pembelajaran mind mapping‎ terhadap keterampilan berpikir ‎kreatif peserta didik pada materi Invertebrata. (2) Tidak terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan terkait motivasi belajar peserta didik ‎terhadap keterampilan berpikir ‎kreatif peserta ‎didik pada materi Invertebrata. (3) Tidak terdapat interaksi antara metode pembelajaran mind mapping dan motivasi ‎‎ belajar yang berbeda terhadap kemampuan ‎berpikir ‎kreatif peserta didik pada materi Invertebrata.

Abstract

Abstract: Antagonistic bacteria in the activities of one organism with other organisms compete with each other in fighting over places, air, water, food (nutrients). If the bacteria do not compete with each other but those bacteria can interact and synergize, and share the same nutritional sources and behave cooperatively between bacteria in their habitat. It is said to be synergisticThe goal is to find out the 15 consortia of LCN indigenous bacteria with soil bacteria can be synergistic so, it can be consortified. To utilize the synergistic test results of the consortia of LCN indigen bacteria with soil bacteria as a source of learning biology. The research design is a quantitative experiment . Synergistic test using Streak Plate Method on Nutrient Agar medium. The test results show that X2value 56.86> X2table 23.68 with α 0.05 in the chi-square table, so it can be concluded that there is a synergy between LCN Indigenous Bacteria and Soil Bacteria. The validation results show that the microbiology practicum guide with 96% results has a very good qualification so, it is suitable as a biology learning source in the form of a microbiology practicum guide based on scientific approach.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of variations in the dosage of lemongrass biopesticides and the best dose on the growth and resistance of red spinach pests. This research is also expected to be a potential source of learning biology. The research design used was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with one control and 3 treatments, P1: citronella stem biopesticide dose 35% P2: citronella stem biopesticide dose 40%, and P3: citronella stem biopesticide dose 45%, with each treatment using 6 replications. Growth and resistance of red spinach pests were analyzed using 1-way ANAVA. The results showed there was an effect of variations in the dosage of lemongrass biopesticide on growth and resistance of red spinach pests because the Fcount value was greater than the Ftable in the Chi-square table. 45% dosage of lemongrass biopesticide has the best influence on the growth and resistance of red spinach pests. This research also has the potential as a source of learning biology by using a scientific approach

Abstract

Abstract: The current curriculum implementation in 2013 emphasizes learning based on the application of daily life in accordance with scientific learning. This study aims to observe and analyze the potential of learning resources in the Organic Garden 23 Karang Rejo Metro City with the subject matter of Ecosystem Class X SMA. The results of the study of the potential sources of learning obtained by biotic components, namely types of vegetable plants, types of flowering plants, insects and abiotic components that form food webs and energy cycles. Based on the criteria for making teaching materials consisting of clarity of potential, conformity with learning objectives, clarity of objectives, clarity of information that can be revealed, clarity of exploration guidelines, clarity of acquisition that is expected to study learning resources for packaging teaching materials can be used as a reference for the development of teaching materials based on local potential through adjustments to the 2013 curriculum, characteristics and needs of students.

Abstract

Increasing agricultural crop production, especially onion, can be done by improving the optimal growing environment for plants. Plant roots can be optimized for the absorption of nutrients and water in the process of photosynthesis. One way that can be used is by applying Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR). In addition to increasing the content of micro and macro elements in the soil can also support the growth of leek plants obtained by applying Pineapple Liquid Waste (LCN) made using bacterial isolation and can meet the needs of nutrients in plants. This study aims to determine the effect Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR) from Apus (Gigantochola apus) bamboo root and Pineapple Liquid Waste (LCN) fertilizer on the growth of leeks (Allium fistulosum L.), then the results of this study are treated as community information in the form of Leaflets. The method used in this study was an experiment using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) system consisting of 4x4 factorials with 3 replications. Based on the results of calculations and data analysis, the results show that there is an effect of PGPR and LCN on the growth of scallions on the height and number of tillers per scallion plant family, but there is no influence on pseudo stem circumference and wet weight per scallion plant family, and the results of this study can be used as a source of public information in the form of leaflets with an average percentage included in good eligibility criteria.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to see the effect of an integrated approach and creative thinking on the scientific communication skills of students of class VIII of SMP Negeri 1 Bumi Agung Way Kanan Lampung. The expected benefits of this study are to get creative thinking and have scientific communication skills for students in learning. This research is quantitative with Quasi Experimental type research with 2 x 2 factorial design using Posttest Control Only Group Design research. The results obtained include: The value of scientific communication shows the influence of an integrated approach to the scientific communication skills of students. The results of scientific communication of students who are given action show better than the results of scientific communication of students who are not given action. Through an integrated approach learners are motivated and enthusiastic about learning. Creative thinking abilities possessed by students can not reflect the ability of scientific communication they have. High or low creative thinking skills possessed by students can not be a determinant or benchmark of written scientific communication skills possessed by students. The scientific communication skills of students are influenced by internal and external factors of students. Both of these affect the results of scientific communication written by students. Thus concluded learning with an integrated approach can affect students' scientific communication skills, there is no influence of creative thinking on students' scientific communication skills, and there is no interaction between integrated approaches and creative thinking on students' written scientific communication skills.

Abstract

Focus of this research are the potential of mangrove forest tourism in Sriminosari Village Labuhan Maringgai District in terms of diversity of flora and fauna, the ecotourism potential of mangrove tourism forest in Sriminosari Village Labuhan Maringgai District, and the feasibility of information sources made regarding the potential of mangrove tourism in Sriminosari Village Labuhan Maringgai District as ecopedagogy in the community. The type of research used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The results of this study indicate the potential diversity of flora in the area of ​​the tourist forest are as many as 11 species while for the diversity of fauna found as many as 5 species. For the potential of ecotourism with 16 indicators displayed found 12 indicators that are already available in the forest tourism area. Based on the results of the overall validation questionnaire analysis of the three aspects namely aspects of language, design, and material obtained a percentage of 88, 43%, with good qualifications.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian variasi pupuk organik cair (POC) bonggol pisang terhadap pertumbuhan selada (Lactuca sativa L). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Perlakuan dalam penelitian ini adalah pemberian variasi dosis POC bonggol pisang dengan tiga perlakuan dengan empat kali ulangan. Perlakuan pertama P0 0 ml, P1 50 ml, dan P2 100 ml. Untuk media tanam menggunakan dua perlakuan yaitu M0 tanpa arang sekam dan M1Penambahan arang sekam.: Parameter yang diukur dalam penelitian ini meliputi tinggi tanaman, jumlah helai daun, dan berat basah selada. Hasil data pengamatan dalam penelitian ini kemuadian dilakukan penyajian data dalam bentuk tabel serta di lakukan analisis statistika menggunakan aplikasi SPSS yang meliputi Analisis Ragam Two Way Anava. Berdasarkan Hasil analisis ANAVA menunjukkan bahwa pemberian POC bonggol pisang memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan selada pada parameter tinggi tanaman dan berat basah selada. Hasil tertinggi rata-rata tinggi tanaman selada terdapat pada perlkuan M0P2 yaitu sebesar 13,6 cm. Sedangkan rata-rata berat basah selada tertinggi pada perlakuan M0P2 sebesar 114,3 gram
