Abstract

MIM Jagalan (1950) and MIM Jumoyo (1968) is a Basic Education Institution in Salam Sub-district, Magelang. Although it has been half a century established, but until now still experiencing a number of obstacles, among which are 1) the low knowledge and understanding of the National Education Standards (SNP) so that the impact on the implementation of quality education process; 2) the existence of gaps in the implementation of primary education (MI and SD) in Salam District Magelang regency; 3) The objective conditions of teachers and human resources and the resources of instructional media for educational visual aids (APE) so as to impact on the limitations in supporting quality learning process; 4) The lack of support of madrasah stakeholders in the development of madrasah both morally and materially. In relation to this matter, it is a community service activity that aims to improve the quality of madrasah to madrasah with quality education process. The method to be used in the achievement of the objective is Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) participatory community empowerment model. The method is divided into three stages: preparation, implementation and mentoring, and preparation of reports. The preparation phase begins with permission, preparation through Forum Group Discussion (FGD) division of implementing tasks with partners. Implementation phase begins with socialization, SNP evaluation, document quality assurance, APE development assistance, strategy training and learning method, final stage of preparation of final report.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Knowledge is intrinsically comes from Allah SWT which is revealed to Prophet Muhammad SAW and is embodied in Al Qur’an. Paradigm is a group of values which form one’s thought as his or her starting point of view so that it will form one’s subjective image – about a reality – which finally will determine how this one responds the reality. Human should not ever stop thinking about him/her self, his/her surrounding, and (the most important) The Creator. Islam taught its followers to always undertake studies on behavior or any rotation and changes happen, either on natural phenomenon or what happen amongst human beings.   Science teaching in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (Islamic Elementary School) should instill moral values that educate students to become caracterized. It can be undertaken by science teaching using integrated bayani, burhani, and irfani approach. Keyword: science teaching, integrated bayani burhani irfani approach.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan metode Snowball Throwing, hasil belajar matematika sub materi perkalian sebelum menggunakan metode Snowball Throwing, dan hasil belajar matematika sub materi perkalian sesudah menggunakan metode Snowball Throwing di MI Al Islam Balesari Windusari Kabupaten Magelang. Subyek dari penelitian ini adalah kelas IV yang berjumlah 22 siswa yang terdiri atas 9 siswa laki-laki dan 13 siswi perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah observasi, tes, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan metode Snowball Throwing. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari suasana pembelajaran di kelas IV menjadi lebih hidup, peserta didik menjadi lebih aktif dan semangat dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam tiga tahap, tahap pertama adalah kegiatan pra siklus, yaitu mencari data hasil belajar sebelum menggunakan metode Snowball Throwing.  Tahap kedua adalah pelaksanaan Siklus I dan Siklus II. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan metode Snowball Throwing dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar pada mata pelajaran Matematika. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari rata-rata kelas tiap siklusnya yaitu siklus I 68.64 dengan prosentase perubahan nilai sebesar 14.4% dan siklus II 80.45 dengan prosentase perubahan nilai sebesar 34.08% dan ketuntasan hasil belajar mencapai 100%. Berdasarkan hasil analisis siklus I dan siklus II dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa metode Snowball Throwing dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika sub materi perkalian di MI Al Islam Balesari Windusari Kabupaten Magelang.

Abstract

Dalam perkembangannya postivisme terdiri dari, positivisme sosial, positivisme evolusioner, positivisme kritis. Ketiga positivisme diatas dibahas dalam positivisme Auguste Comte dilihat dari analisa epistimologis dan nilai etisnya terhadap sains. Menghadapi filsafat positivisme Auguste Comte, disatu fihak orang mengatakan bahawa filsafat tersebut tidak lebih dari sebuah metode atau pendirian saja. Sedangkan dilain pihak orang mengatakan bahwa filsafat positivisme itu merupakan “sistem afirmai” sebuah konsep tentang dunia dan manusia. Aguste Comte telah menunjukkan bahwa didalam perkembangan jiwa manusia, baik secara individual maupun secara keseluruhan, terdapat suatu kemajuan. Kemajuan itu akan dicapai, pada saat perkembangan datang, pada saat yang disebut positif. Positivisme berakar pada empirisme. Positivisme adalah: bahwa ilmu adalah satu-satunya pengetahuan yang valid, dan fakta-fakta sejarah yang mungkin dapat menjadi obyek pengetahuan. Dengan demikian positivisme menolak keberadaan segala kekuatan atau subyek dibelakang fakta, menolak segala penggunaan metode diluar yang digunakan untuk menelaah fakta. Aguste Comte adalah tokoh aliran positivisme, pendapat aliran ini adalah indera amatlah penting dalam memperoleh pengetahuan, tetapi harus dipertajam dengan alat bantu dan diperkuat dengan eksperimen. Bila dilihat dari nilai etisnya terhadap sains maka dapat dinyatakan bahwa apabila pradigma positivisme maka objeknya empiris macam pengetahuannya menunjukkan sains dan dapat diukur dengan logis dan bukti empiris.

Abstract

Allah SWT told us  that in the story of the assabiquunal awwalun  there were lessons learned for the thinking people, which is able to contemplate the stories, finding her wisdom and advice, as well as digging of the stories are life lessons and instructions. Story method is one of God ways in educating and teaching people. This is in line with the conditions that psychologically human loves stories. Hopefully using story methods, we can deliver educational messageseffectively without anyone feeling patronized. In Qur'an, Allah tells examples (uswah hasanah)and lessons (ibrah)for all of us through the stories of the Prophet, figures, and the earlier people.  By referring to the stories found in Qur'an, we can conclude that the Qur'an is a way of life that explains the life of past, present and future. The Qur’an also teach us about the educational value of monotheism, intellectual, moral / moral, sexual, spiritual, democracy.

Abstract

In fact, the success of the learning implementation process at SD / MI still relies on classroom teachers. So that absolutely has not provided the opportunity for students to develop independently through the process skills they have acquired. One of the successes of learning is reflected in the science process skills that the teacher implements to construct students' understanding. Science process skills are closely related to teacher professionalism. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between science process skills and teacher professionalism in SD / MI. This research uses descriptive quantitative method. Data were collected through observation, group discussions and field assessments by distributing questionnaires. The results of this study indicate that the analysis of science process skills on teacher professionalism shows a good category. However, this good category is measured based on the average score of all aspects of science process skills on teacher professionalism. The correlation between science process skills and teacher professionalism is shown in the indicator of science process skills observing and inferring to professional competence, where when science process skills in observing aspects and inference show a percentage of 71.5%, it will have an impact on professional competence which shows a percentage of 71%, it means that science process skills are closely related to teacher professionalism. In addition, indicators of science process skills such as classification, interpreting, predicting, and communicating in good categories have an impact on teacher professional competence with pedagogic, personality and social indicators. This shows that teachers with good science poses skills will show teacher professionalism.

Abstract

Pandemi covid-19 mempercepat transformasi digital termasuk dalam dunia pendidikan. Saat ini sekolah dituntut untuk mengikuti perkembangan zaman dengan mengembangkan digitalisasi sekolah. Sekolah perlu mengembangkan digitalisasi di era pandemi covid-19 karena proses pembelajaran dilaksanakan secara terpisah, yang mengharuskan siswa belajar dari rumah. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah memberikan pemahaman kepada pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan tentang pentingnya digitalisasi baik dalam publikasi sekolah kepada masyarakat luas serta bagaimana mengakomodir dan mengatasi kejenuhan belajar peserta didik melalui sistem blended learning. Participatory Action Research (PAR) merupakan metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini, yang melibatkan tenaga pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan dalam kegiatan: pelatihan penggunaan aplikasi pembelajaran jarak jauh (Zoom Meeting, Google Meet, Google Form), pelatihan pembuatan video pembelajaran (InShot), pelatihan penggunaan aplikasi ujian online (Quizizz), dan pelatihan pengoperasian website. Berdasarkan skala penilaian berupa pertanyaan survei tertutup yang digunakan untuk mencerminkan tanggapan responden dalam pelatihan digitalisasi sekolah, menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan meningkat dari 25% menjadi 80%. Dengan pelatihan ini guru menjadi kreatif dan inovatif dalam pembuatan media pembelajaran yang bersentuhan teknologi, sehingga keefektifan dalam pembelajaran jarak jauh (PJJ) serta digitalisasi sekolah terwujud

Abstract

This service activity is aimed at improving the quality of MI in order to create a great Madrasa with dignity. This activity uses a participatory rural appraisal (PRA) approach which is carried out in three stages, namely socialization, training, and mentoring. Through training and mentoring, the potential and quality of education personnel has increased. Moreover, the service team is renovating the infrastructure, so that it can support the effort to create a great and dignified madrasa.

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk penguatan kelembagaan dan meningkatkan kualitas SDM di amal usaha Muhammadiyah Kecamatan Salam dengan target khusus yaitu untuk meningkatkan pemahaman SDM terhadap kewajiban kepada lembaga/Amal Usaha Muhammadiyah (AUM) ditempat mereka bertugas. Pembinaan melalui penguatan kualitas SDM di AUM untuk menciptakan dan membina sumber daya manusia yang bermuhammadiyah dan berkemajuan. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan metode Participatory Rural Apraisal (PRA). Metode PRA dipilih berdasarkan pertimbangan bahwa yang mempunyai atau menghadapi masalah adalah mitra, oleh karena itu keterlibatan mitra secara aktif dalam penentuan pemecahan masalah sangat diperlukan. Tahapan kegiatan diawali persiapan meliputi ijin kegiatan, menyiapkan kelengkapan dan menyusun jadwal pelaksanaan meliputi FGD, penyusunan dokumen monitoring penguatan kelembagaan dan penyusunan laporan. Adapun hasil dari program kemitraan Universitas menunjukkan bahwa; rasa memiliki SDM terhadap AUM di lingkungan PCM Salam dalam kategori cukup hal tersebut ditunjukkan dengan hasil monitoring keaktifan pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan dalam kajian ahad pagi dan kegiatan persyarikatan di lingkungan tempat tinggalnya. Sehingga diperlukan pendamping berkelanjutan untuk mewujudkan SDM yang unggul dan senantiasa meningkatkan rasa memiliki terhadap AUM di lingkungan PCM Salam.

Abstract

Covid-19 has caused a crisis of teacher professionalism degradation. It has surprised teachers at all levels and at the same time inspired them to seek solutions to problems they had never encountered before. Teachers and students are required to adapt to the new normal so that teachers transition in professional life from offline to online. This study aims to analyze the professionalism of teachers during the covid-19 pandemic, in terms of pedagogical, personality, social, and professional competencies. The method used is a systematic literature review (SLR), identifying, evaluating, and interpreting all findings on a research topic to answer pre-determined research questions using the preferred reporting item for systematic review and meta analytic (PRISMA). This research database uses Scholar, ERIC, and Mendeley. The results of the study show that teacher professionalism is decadent during the covid-19 period. pedagogical competence becomes highly cognitive because of the weak transfer of values online. personality competence has distorted the teacher's charisma because for almost two years the students have not met the teacher. Social competence of teachers fails to develop a sense of togetherness because of social and physical distancing. Besides that, the professionalism phase of teachers in Indonesia is in the collegial phase, pedagogic competence is considered more important than other competencies. In terms of personality competence, female teachers have a higher level of professional commitment than male teachers and the professional level of teachers with a master's degree education is significantly higher than the level of professional commitment of teachers with undergraduate education. Individual work professionalism is determined and monitored collectively. This means that the principal will be given decision-making authority over school policies and procedures and the support capacity of school leaders is needed. Pedagogy and professionalism during and after a pandemic will drive transformational change. Guidelines for professional behavior are needed to interpret what the professionalism of teachers looks like during the covid-19 pandemic. In conclusion, the concept of teacher professionalism is no longer relevant in the Covid-19 era. For future research recommendations, it is necessary to develop guidelines for professional teacher behavior during the pandemic, both COVID-19 and other natural phenomena that cause pandemics.
