Abstract

Student of SMA Negeri 1 Sukodadi increased every year. So, the needs of administration services about students payment increased too. This school already has a payment administration system. When the system is ready to use, East Java provincial government changed the regulation of Sumbangan Pembinaan Pendidikan (SPP) payment. Consequently, the system is unused because it does not match with the current user needs. The problem in the payment of participation are the management of administration still manual, the limitations of HR Manager of payment administration, and the process of income payment calculation is not time efficiency. Human Centered Design (HCD) is used method. The stages in HCD are context analysis and user needs by interview method. Results of this analysis are two users as respondents and user wants a new design that complies with rules to make it easier to manage payments and report generation. Design interfaces and solution designs generated wireframes and prototypes. Evaluation of prototypes using usability testing with effectiveness, efficiency, and satisfaction aspects. This evaluation is done by testing task scenario to determine the effectiveness and efficiency aspects. The satisfaction aspect is determined by the interview method to the user. The result of prototype evaluation on effectiveness aspect is79,24%, while the efficiency aspect are respondent 1 is 90% and respondent 2 is 100%, and than the satisfaction aspect is 4 issues.

Abstract

E-commerce is an online shopping activity service using the internet network as well as how to do transactions through digital money transfers provided by PT. 24 Hours Online (UniPin). On the UniPin website there are tons of games that have collaborated with unipin.co.id such as the Mobile Legends game, PUBG Mobile, besides the UniPin web also provides Google Play vouchers, Steam Wallet and other vouchers. UniPin is a business that has been started since 2009 and already has millions of users. From the data of user complaints, there are several problems regarding aspects of usability, such as the user not understanding the UniPin web usage flow. According Istiana (2015) Evaluation of usability of a website that has been built needs to be done one of them to find out how the usability of the website for users. To find out the level of usability on the e-commerce website used by PT. 24 Hours Online, it is necessary to evaluate usability on the UniPin website by using the usability testing method to observe user behavior. To obtain data, the data collection techniques used are by observing user behavior when carrying out the given task and conducting questionnaires using the Nielsen Attributes of Usability (NAU) questionnaire, and interviews with UniPin web users. The usability evaluation process consists of several stages, including extracting information by requesting customer complaint data on the UniPin web customer service, assigning tasks to respondents, filling out questionnaires, interviewing respondents to dig deeper information, the data obtained is then processed using the Likert scale method and in the analysis, then the UniPin web display design is made according to the analysis obtained. Based on the analysis, the results for the learnability aspect were 77%, the efficiency aspect was 75%, the memorability aspect was 79%, the error aspect was 71%, and the satisfaction aspect was as much as 70%. This shows that the results of the UniPin web usability level research are still in the agreed / good / like interval criteria, and produced 3 UniPin web display mockups that can be used to help improve the UniPin web.

Abstract

The website has an important function as a useful media for education. SMAN 1 Bangkalan is one of the schools have their own website to provide information. Information obtained such as announcements or the latest news. This study theme is evaluating and improving the user interface of the official website of SMAN 1 Bangkalan. Website Usability Evaluation Tool (WEBUSE) method as an evaluation material that contains a questionnaire. The function of this questionnaire is to see the level of success of a website that suits user needs. Results of the evaluation found a problem about the user interface of the website that still does not provide satisfaction and comfort of its users. Therefore, this research was conducted to improve the website interface design using HCD so that the design is as desired. The results of the usability evaluation of SMAN 1 Bangkalan website have increased the usability value between the old design and the new design improvement. The overall usability value for the website user interface is currently 0.55 which means it's at a moderate level, and the usability evaluation results for the overall design solution are 0.74 which means it's at a good level,

Abstract

Pandanarum Village Head's Office is an office which located at the frontier of two villages in Pandanarum Village, Mojokerto Regency, especially on Pacet Subdistrict. The Village Head's Office performing population record activities on its administration. On the recording of its populations, the Village Office doesn't have a good data structure yet and inefficient recap process that affects the overall evaluation performance of the population when Village Head need data immediately. Based on the problems in this research, it inflicts the Village Head can't give the right decision for village development. This research produces interface design that focuses on the user's perspective and their needs to increase data recording efficiency and providing information to Head Office at Pandanarum Village Office using Human-Centred Design (HCD) method. There are several phases in HCD, there are understanding and specify the context of usage, specify the user requirements, produce design solution and evaluating the design of wireframe and high fidelity prototypes. The features are based on accordance with user requirements and then evaluating design solution qualitatively through direct interviews with users to meet user needs and consist of user agreement. This research result interface designs, 9 improvement recommendations and interface design that have been improved.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the learning process that takes place centered on the teacher's explanation, there is no student companion in learning and student learning outcomes from assignments are not good enough. This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in Basic Programming subjects by using Problem Based Learning aided by Student Worksheets. This study uses a Quasi Experiment method with a Non Equivalent Control Group Design that uses two classes as a control and an experiment. This study uses the subject of class X students of the Department of Multimedia SMK 4 Malang. Class X MM A is the superior class and X MM B is the lowest class. This study uses data collection techniques with test instruments in the form of Pre-Test and Post-Test questions in the form of 5 descriptive questions. This study uses data processing techniques with the Wilcoxon Test and the Mann-Whitney Test. This study results in an increase in learning outcomes with learning that applies Problem Based Learning with or not with the help of Student Worksheets because it gets a smaller number than the significant level used by 0.05, and learning outcomes on students' knowledge and skills are both the same at students with learning who apply Problem Based Learning with or not with the help of Student Worksheets because they get a number greater than the significant level used by 0.05.

Abstract

Situs website jurusan sistem informasi (SI) merupakan sarana untuk menyampaikan segala informasi mengenai jurusan sistem informasi yang terdapat di FILKOM Universitas Brawijaya. Dengan terdapat website jurusan sistem informasi akan memudahkan dan mempercepat dalam pencarian informasi bagi mahasiswa dan masyarakat umum yang membutuhkan segala informasi tentang jurusan sistem informasi.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menemukan kebutuhan pengguna untuk perancangan situs website jurusan sistem informasi lalu menghasilkan rancangan desain situs website sistem informasi yang dibutuhkan oleh pengguna. Dalam perancangannya memakai kaidah Human Centered Design. Dalam menentukan konteks dan spesifikasi kebutuhan pengguna/user situs website jurusan sistem informasi dengan melalui wawancara kelompok pengguna dan masukan-masukan dari stakeholder terkait dalam pelaksanaan rapat dengan pengembang website jurusan. Berdasarkan hasil kebutuhan yang didapat dari pengguna dan stakeholder terkait menghasilkan sebuah desain awal yang kemudian mendapat masukan-masukan dari stakeholder terkait dan dilakukan perbaikan desain dan tata letak menu hingga menghasilkan desain solusi akhir. Pada desain solusi akhir dilakukan evaluasi website dimana dalam melakukan evaluasi desain menggunakan prinsip Heuristic Evaluation dan Guideline University Website Design. Dari 3 evaluator mendapatkan 18 permasalahan. Berikutnya rekomendasi yang diberikan evaluator akan diperbaiki dan dijadikan solusi desain situs website jurusan sistem informasi. Abstract

Electric Train (KRL) as a mode of public transportation is still Jabodetabek people choice's. PT KCI (Kereta Commuter Indonesia) created the KRL Access application in 2015 with purpose to making it easier get information related to KRL schedules, route, and KRL positions. The researcher found several problems based on interviews and observations, including the inconsistent use of language, differences in application schedules with real-time conditions, and back buttons that did not function properly. From the problems found, the researchers evaluated the usability and improvement of the user interface using the HCD approach and the PSSUQ as questionnaire. After researcher get the evaluation results, the next step is to make a design improvement as a solution to the problem created based on several guidelines. The results of the comparison show a significant increase, where there was an increase in the aspect of effectiveness from 48% to 100%, then efficiency aspect from 11.85% increase to the 100%, and then user satisfaction aspect from 56.25% increase to 98.75%. The researcher concludes that the increase in value because the design improvement made by the researcher gives a higher user experience value than the initial design of the application.

Abstract

Malang City Transportation Department in 2016 launched the RTTIC Kota Malang mobile application. RTTIC Kota Malang can help users to get the latest traffic situation information, also information about locations, telephone numbers, and important activities in Malang City. The application has been downloaded 10 thousand times by users in Google Playstore and has a rating of 2.9 from a 5 star scale. According to the users, there are several problems with the application, including screen orientation that reduces user comfort, the application's home page does not display the available menus, and the CCTV icon on Peta CCTV menu resembles another icon. Based on the problems found, usability evaluation needs to be done to assess the level of application usability. Usability testing is used as an evaluation method that includes 9 participants for application testing. The test is carried out four times, twice the task scenario test on the application and twice the task scenario test on the improvement recommendation. Two tests were conducted with the aim of comparing usability values ​​between applications with improvement recommendations. Task scenario testing on the application and improvement recommendations are done twice each to assess aspects of usability that require testing more than once. The findings of problems after conducting a post-test interview will be the basis for making improvement recommendations. Improvement recommendations are tested again like testing the application in the first time, and then the usability values ​​are compared. The increase in usability value obtained from the improvement recommendation is 10.06%.

Abstract

MyTelkomsel is a self service application launched by Telkomsel that is useful for facilitating its customers. However, MyTelkomsel still gets complaints from users. These complaints are found in the Playstore review column and could be a failure of the login process, a failure of transaction process, and customer dissatisfaction about online customer service. This study aims to determine what factors in the service quality of MyTelkomsel that can affect customer satisfaction and user loyalty of MyTelkomsel in Malang. The models used in this study are E-Service Quality and E-Recovery Service Quality. This study used a sample of 102 respondents that used MyTelkomsel application and are domiciled in Malang. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires directly to respondents in the Grapari Telkomsel Malang office. Data analysis used in this study are multiple linear regression and simple linear regression models. From this research, it was found that the efficiency and privacy variables had a significant effect partially on customer satisfaction and customer satisfaction had a significant effect partially on user loyalty.

Abstract

SMA Negeri 1 Balikpapan is one of the public schools in the city of Balikpapan that utilizes the website as a media to facilitate the school in matters relating to information management and support the productivity in the dissemination of information around the school. The website is rated to have poor quality based on its user experience in terms of display quality to the information that was delivered. Therefore, it is necessary to assess the website's quality using Webqual 4.0 and the IPA method to improve and maintain the quality website. Webqual 4.0 assesses the scope of the problem that includes usability, information quality, and service interaction while the IPA method is used to look at the problems that are a priority improvement. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to 302 students who used the website of SMA Negeri 1 Balikpapan. The results of the study showed that there are 5 attributes included in top priorities, ease of operation, clarity of interaction, and navigation on the website as well as the display and layout of information. While the 4 attributes that are included in the low priority are the suitability of the website display type, timeliness of information, the suitability of information submitted, and the ease of communication of students and teachers through the website. The rest attribute does not have a priority fix because it has enough performance to maintain. Repair recommendations are given to attributes that go in the top and low priorities and it refer to HHS Usability Guidelines and ISO 9241-151.
