Abstract

One of the financing for construction work is financing sourced from foreign loans or grants/PHLN. This type of financing model always has guidelines set by the lender/lender. The procurement implementation guidelines created by these lenders are sometimes not in line with the Goods and Services Procurement Regulations in Indonesia, giving rise to the problem of delays in procurement implementation time in searching for potential construction service providers. The aim of the research is to evaluate the influence of regulations for the procurement of construction goods and services in Indonesia on the guidelines made by SFD lenders, causing progress in the implementation of construction tenders to be delayed. The research method used is to identify variable instruments owned by researchers from primary and secondary data, which are then developed into variables and indicators and processed using the nvivo application. From the results of the data processing, it was then evaluated and validated using data from interviews conducted with several service providers with PHLN. The results of the data processing showed that there were several factors that caused the procurement process to be completed late. The first factor is the existence of procurement regulations of the Republic of Indonesia which are not in line with the lender's guidelines, the second factor is the experience of actors procuring goods and services from PHLN funding sources, the third factor is the communication factor between relevant stakeholders and the fourth is the cultural factor possessed by the lender country.

Abstract

This article discusses the contribution of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) Learning Model as an accelerator for increasing the textile motif design competency of Fashion Vocational High School (SMK) students. The focus is on the integration of PjBL in learning fashion design and production in vocational schools, which is considered important to prepare graduates to face the challenges of the dynamic fashion industry. The discussion includes the characteristics of textile motif design competencies, the literature study methods used, the findings, and the role of PjBL in increasing students' creativity, critical thinking, and cross-disciplinary skills. This article provides a comprehensive overview of how PjBL can improve the quality of vocational education, especially in developing the textile motif design competency of SMK Clothing students.

Abstract

Vocational High Schools (SMK) play a role in producing workers who are ready to compete in the industrial world. To produce high-quality graduates, the availability of adequate facilities and infrastructure is a key supporting factor. SMK Islam 1 Blitar is one of the schools designated as a Center of Excellence (PK) and has the responsibility of producing high-quality graduates. This study aims to describe the management of facilities and infrastructure at SMK Islam 1 Blitar in supporting its role as an SMK PK. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, participant observation, and documentation. The research findings indicate that the management of facilities and infrastructure at this school is effective through the stages of planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising. These findings are important for studying the management of SMK PKs in efforts to improve the quality of graduates so that they possess competencies aligned with the needs of the workforce and industry.

Abstract

Gedung di negara beriklim tropis termasuk Indonesia paling banyak menggunakan energi untuk sistem tata udara 45-70%, sistem tata cahaya 1020%,. SNI 03-6196-2000 tentang prosedur audit energi pada bangunan gedung, memiliki ruang lingkup meliputi perkantoran, hotel, pertokoan/pusat belanja, rumah sakit, apartemen dan rumah tinggal. Bangunan fasilitas pendidikan tinggi belum mendapat perhatian terkait dengan kinerja energi karena kenyamanan suhu dan pencahayaan. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengidentifikasi kriteria dasar sebagai indikator awal untuk melakukan penilaian (assesment) terhadap kinerja energi bangunan. Analisis dan identifikasi kriteria dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Important Performance Analysis (IPA). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari sekitar 40 kinerja kriteria desain bangunan yang memiliki pengaruh dengan kenyamanan termal terdapat 24 faktor yang dipersepsikan penting oleh pengguna bangunan fasilitas bangunan pendidikan tinggi, meliputi kategori: (1) lokasi bangunan, (2) upaya reduksi panas sekitar bangunan, (3) denah bangunan, (4) bentuk arsitektur, (5) desain struktural dan selubung bangunan, (6) desain struktural dan selubung, (7) interior ruang, serta (8) sistem penghawaan dan pencahayaan buatanKata kunci: kinerja termal bangunan, bangunan fasilitas pendidikan tinggi, metode Important Performance Analysis

Abstract

This study aims to examine the diversification of learning models that strengthen employability skills among students of Vocational High Schools (Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan; SMK) based on scientific publications published from 2015 to 2025. Vocational High School (SMK) graduates are expected to master technical competencies while also possessing 21st-century skills, such as communication, teamwork, problem-solving, creativity, digital literacy, and leadership, to adapt to the demands of the business and industrial sectors in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0. This study employed a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach, following the PRISMA Statement protocol, to select and analyze relevant articles published over the past decade. The results of the review indicate that six main learning models support the improvement of employability skills, namely Project-Based Learning (PBL), Problem-Based Learning (PBL), Work-Based Learning (WBL), Teaching Factory (TeFa), Blended Learning or Flipped Classroom, and Cooperative Learning. Each model provides a distinct contribution: PjBL and PBL strengthen critical thinking, problem solving, and collaboration skills; WBL and TeFa enhance adaptability, professional communication, and technological literacy; Blended Learning emphasizes digital literacy and learner autonomy; while Cooperative Learning reinforces interpersonal communication, teamwork, and leadership. This study concludes that no single learning model can comprehensively accommodate all aspects of employability skills. Therefore, the diversification and integration of various learning models during the 2015 to 2025 period becomes an essential strategy for building a vocational education ecosystem that is relevant and responsive to industry needs

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors influencing the difficulty of implementing the Last Planner System (LPS) among contractors in Malang City. A quantitative approach was employed through questionnaires distributed to contractors involved in construction projects, supported by interviews to validate field findings. The data were analyzed using descriptive techniques and factor weighting to identify the variables that most significantly affect the challenges of LPS implementation. The results indicate that four major factors contribute to the level of difficulty in applying LPS: limited understanding and competence of human resources, lack of management support and commitment, weak coordination and communication among project teams, and resistance to organizational cultural change. The most influential factors are managerial and organizational behavioral aspects, particularly related to management commitment and readiness for collaborative work culture. These findings confirm that successful LPS implementation relies not only on technical tools but also on organizational readiness to adopt a culture of collaboration, transparency, and accountability. The study recommends strengthening human resource capacity, enhancing managerial support, optimizing routine coordination, and transforming organizational culture to improve the effectiveness of LPS implementation in Malang City.

Abstract

The construction sector is a major contributor to greenhouse gas emissions, accounting for 20% of the total emissions that impact global warming. Based on a report from the IPCC the construction sector is responsible for 40% of global energy consumption. The purpose of this research is to identify and evaluate the life cycle of materials in architectural work. The scope of Life Cycle Assessment in this research is cradle to gate where the research is carried out starting from material collection, transportation, to implementation. This research will estimate the environmental impact of the use of materials for architectural work in the construction of hospital in Malang City. Life Cycle Assessment analysis using SimaPro 9.5 software. The method used is observation survey method and data collection. Based on the results of the study, it was obtained that the material that has a major contribution to environmental impacts, especially global warming, is lightweight brick material in wall work. Lightweight bricks have the largest contribution to wall work because the material in lightweight bricks contains cement composition, which has the largest carbon emissions in construction.

Abstract

Groundwater is a natural resource used by humans to fulfil their living needs which should meet the Republik Indonesia Minister of Health Regulation No. 2/2023. Aim: This research aims to contribute to solve these challenges and meet the clean water quality standard. Methodology and Results: The groundwater sample was taken from the deep well of Al-Hikmah Mosque, Universitas Negeri Malang (UM). It was indicated to contain Fe and Mn, as evidenced by its yellowish colour when left undisturbed for some time. A laboratory-scale experiment was conducted for the deep well treatment and analysis. The treatment system consists of aeration, sedimentation, and filtration. The filtration unit comprises several natural media such as gravel, silica sand, zeolite, and activated charcoal. This experiment used detention times of 120 and 240 minutes as dependent variables. Conclusion, significance, and impact study: The results showed that detention times of 120 and 240 min have efficiency on turbidity reduction of 92.86% and 98.69%, Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) of 10.42% and 14.47%, Fe of 23.01%, Mn of 62.39% and 94.70%, and for CaCO3 of 2.98% and 11.17%, respectively. The research findings demonstrated that a detention time of 240 min generated water quality that met the Minister of Health No. 2/2023 standards. Detention times of 120 minutes and 240 minutes led to significant differences in water quality concerning temperature and CaCO3. The filtration system with a detention time of 240 minutes can be considered as an alternative groundwater treatment solution for the deep well of Al-Hikmah Mosque, Universitas Negeri Malang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk berupa materi dan media pembelajaran yang layak dan efektif pada mata pelajaran Projek Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (Projek IPAS) dengan topik "Zat dan Perubahannya", yang diintegrasikan secara inheren dengan nilai-nilai karakter hidup bersih. Penelitian ini menggunakan model penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) 4D yang terdiri dari tahap Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah adanya kesenjangan antara tuntutan kompetensi teknis dan pembinaan karakter di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK), serta kurangnya relevansi materi ajar sains dengan konteks keseharian siswa pada program keahlian Desain Komunikasi Visual (DKV). Subjek dari kegiatan pengembangan ini adalah siswa kelas X DKV di SMKN 1 Nguling. Produk yang dihasilkan berupa sebuah paket pembelajaran terpadu yang terdiri dari modul mini, video pembelajaran, Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD), dan poster edukatif. Hasil validasi ahli dan uji coba terbatas menunjukkan bahwa produk yang dikembangkan sangat layak dan efektif untuk digunakan. Implementasi di kelas menunjukkan peningkatan antusiasme dan partisipasi aktif siswa, serta teramatinya perubahan perilaku positif siswa dalam hal kepedulian terhadap kebersihan lingkungan belajar. Dengan demikian, pengembangan media berbasis kontekstual ini terbukti tidak hanya mampu meningkatkan pemahaman kognitif siswa terhadap materi sains, tetapi juga efektif sebagai sarana internalisasi dan pembentukan karakter positif.

Abstract

Penelitian   ini   bertujuan   untuk   mengidentifikasi   dan   mengoptimalkan   layanan   perpustakaan di SMKN 1 Pasuruan dalam  upaya  meningkatkan  literasi  siswa.  Saat  ini,  layanan perpustakaan telah berperan penting dalam mendukung kegiatan literasi, namun   masih   terdapat   potensi   untuk   pengembangan   lebih   lanjut. Penelitian  ini  menggunakan  pendekatan  kualitatif  dengan  metode  studi kasus,  di  mana  data  diperoleh  melalui  wawancara  mendalam,  observasi, dan   analisis   dokumen.   Hasil   penelitian   menunjukkan   bahwa   layanan perpustakaan telah menunjukkan perkembangan positif, terutama dalam hal  peningkatan  partisipasi  siswa  dalam  program  literasi.  Koleksi  buku yang terus diperbarui dan relevansi program-program literasi yang sesuai dengan    kebutuhan    siswa    menjadi    poin    utama    yang    mendukung peningkatan  literasi.  Berdasarkan  temuan  ini,  disarankan  untuk  terus meningkatkan  inovasi  dalam  layanan  perpustakaan,  seperti  memperluas akses ke sumber daya digital dan mengembangkan lebih banyak program literasi  yang interaktif  dan  menarik.  Optimalisasi  ini  diharapkan  dapat lebih   memperkuat   peran   perpustakaan   sebagai   pusat   literasi   yang berkontribusi signifikan terhadap peningkatan kualitas pendidikan di SMKN 1 Pasuruan.
