Abstract

This research aims to explore the mapping of Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) components of instructors in implementing the Edupreneur-profiled curriculum in Islamic Higher Education Institutions (PTKI) in Aceh. The researchers employed interview methods, observations, and document reviews involving three heads of study programs and six instructors from three PTKIs (Islamic Higher Education Institutions) in Aceh, namely UIN Ar-Raniry, IAIN Lhokseumawe, and STAIN Teungku Dirundang Meulaboh. The data analysis was conducted interactively. Instructors teaching Edupreneurship-profiled courses have successfully integrated Content Knowledge (CK), Pedagogical Knowledge (PK), Technological Knowledge (TK), Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK), Technological Pedagogical Knowledge (TCK), and Technological Content Knowledge (TPK) as components of TPACK in their teaching practices. This research contributes to mapping these components, thereby aiding instructors in effectively implementing the entrepreneurship-profiled curriculum. In conclusion, this research provides valuable insights into the effectiveness of Open Educational Resources (OER) on creative thinking within the context of science subjects, filling a notable gap in the existing literature and offering a foundation for further exploration in educational practices.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of family background on Islamic entrepreneurial competencies among students in Aceh’s Islamic higher education institutions. Utilizing a quantitative survey, the research explores key variables such as the occupational backgrounds of both parents. The findings reveal two significant factors influencing students’ Islamic entrepreneurial competencies: the occupational backgrounds of their fathers and mothers. However, the mother’s influence is more prominent, particularly in shaping students’ psychomotor competencies, while no significant effect was found on cognitive and affective domains. The study highlights the need to incorporate family influences into the broader framework of entrepreneurial education in Islamic institutions. It suggests that educational policies should not only focus on skill development but also engage families actively in the learning process. By integrating family support, these institutions can empower students to leverage their backgrounds, fostering both economic and spiritual development within the community.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of pedagogic competence of Arabic language teachers in MTs throughout Banda Aceh. This research is quantitative research with the research method taken is the survey method.  The research instrument used was a questionnaire distributed to a number of 21 Arabic teachers at MTs throughout Banda Aceh City.  Data analysis used descriptive statistics (Mean, Percentage, Standard deviation, and Frequency).  The results showed that the level of pedagogic competence of Arabic language teachers in MTs throughout Banda Aceh was in the high category. This research implies that the pedagogical competence of teachers is very good in carrying out Arabic language learning.

Abstract

Mempersiapkan materi ajar yang inovatif sangat penting untuk memudahkan guru dan siswa dalam pembelajaran. Di lapangan masih jarang guru Bahasa Arab yang menyiapkan materi ajar yang inovatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk E-Handout untuk pembelajaran Bahasa Arab. Prosedur penelitian dan pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model Borg and Gall yang dimodifikasi oleh Sugiyono. Dalam penelitian ini terdapat sepuluh Langkah, namun peneliti hanya menggunakan enam langkah saja yaitu analisis kebutuhan dan masalah, pengumpulan informasi, desain Produk, validasi produk, revisi produk, dan pengujian produk. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan dokumentasi, wawancara dan angket. Sampel dan informan yang digunakan peneliti adalah 27 siswa, dan 4 dosen. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis kualitatif dengan teori Miles & Hubberman dan analisis kuantitatif dengan persentase (%). Hasil penelitian adalah : (1) guru tidak menggunakan bahan ajar sehingga sebagian besar siswa merasa bosan dan tidak termotivasi dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Arab dan dari penelitian sebelumnya tidak terdapat E-Handout dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab, (2) Data yang digunakan untuk desain E-Hadout bahasa Arab yaitu Microsoft Word, Pinterest & Canva, (3) telah dihasilkan E-Handout Bahasa Arab yang inovatif, (4) Hasil Validasi dari aspek isi, Bahasa 88,3% dan Desain 100%, bahwa E-Handout yang didesain telah layak untuk digunakan dengan saran perbaikan, (5) telah menghasilkan E-Handout bahasa Arab yang menarik, inovatif, sederhana, dan mudah untuk digunakan, (6) Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa buku pengembang efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab. Peneliti menemukan hasil Paired Samples T Test pada tingkat signifikansi (Sig) 0,00 < (Sig) 0,05. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis alternatif (Ha) diterima dan hipotesis nol (H0) ditolak.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the interest in learning Arabic of grade 2 students of Darussalam Elementary School, Patna Witya School, Yala, Thailand, through the Total Physical Response (TPR) method. This study used Classroom Action Research (CAR) which was carried out for three cycles. The subjects of the study were 15 students. The research data were collected through observation techniques using learning interest instruments that had gone through a validation process. Data analysis used quantitative (percentage) and qualitative descriptive. The results showed a significant increase in students' learning interest in each cycle. The percentage of students' learning interest in cycle I was 39% (low), cycle II was 53.1% (moderate) and cycle III was 85.93% (very high). This shows that the TPR method is effective in improving students' learning interest through the integration of physical movement with verbal instructions. The application of the TPR method creates a more dynamic and interactive learning environment, which motivates students to participate actively. Abstract

This research examines the dynamics and preservation of Islamic educational traditions in the dayah of Aceh in the context of modernization that brings various challenges of social, technological, and formal education system changes. With a qualitative approach, this study examines the adaptation of dayah to maintain local values and intellectual traditions without eliminating the cultural roots and Islamic identity of the Acehnese people. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation in several integrated dayah in Aceh. The results of the study show that the modernization of dayah takes place in the aspects of institutions, curriculum, learning methods, and improving the competence of scholars and students, so that dayah continues to function as an educational center as well as a cultural and intellectual preservation. This research emphasizes the importance of integrating local values with modern innovations so that dayah education is relevant to the times and can maintain Aceh's cultural identity. These findings provide policy and practice recommendations education that is able to bridge tradition and modernization in Aceh.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using thariqah sam'iyyah shafawiyah with Plotagon Story media to improve maharah istima' of fourth grade students of SDS IT Al-Manar Takengon, Aceh Tengah. This study is motivated by the low ability of students' istima' and not maximizing the use of appropriate learning methods and media. The research method used is quasi experiment with research design Non-equivalent Control Group Design. The data collection technique carried out in the form of a test using a multiple choice instrument of 20 questions. This instrument has been reviewed to ensure the accuracy in terms of content and language as well as testing the level of difficulty of the questions. The research subjects involves two classes: class IV-A as the experimental class and VI-B as the control class, each consisting of 25 samples. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS version 20 with normality test, homogeneity test, and independent sample T-test. The results showed that there was a significant difference after the use of thariqah sam'iyyah shafawiyah with Plotagon Story as the media. Thus, the application of appropriate methods and media that used in learning can help in achieving student learning outcomes

Abstract

In the digital age, the use of technology is becoming more important in the context of education to create a deep and interactive learning experience. This study aims to develop the design of vocabulary materials using  VR technology as an innovative teaching method to support Arabic language learning at the level of Islamic primary school (primary school). This study relied on a design based research methodology. Questionnaires and interviews were used as data collection tools, while qualitative and quantitative analyses were used to analyze the data.The results of the study showed that there are four stages implemented in the design of the research product: problem and needs analysis, design, evaluation, and distribution. Problem analysis in education showed a lack of interest in learning and poor vocabulary mastery. The design of vocabulary learning materials included the use of virtual reality technology through the application of "LAPENTOR"". The design was evaluated by 6 experts, with product ratings in terms of content and language receiving 100%, and  design rating 97%. Accordingly, the VR design was deemed  appropriate for use after taking expert feedback to improve the product. Therefore, the design of vocabulary learning materials using virtual reality can be used as a teaching tool in teaching Arabic at the level of Islamic primary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to test the quality of the items of the Tashrif Lughawi using Rasch Model analysis. This study measured test items with item polarity tests, item and respondent mapping, individual and item reliability. This instrument contains 20 objective items test. This instrument test was tested on 51 students of the Madrasah Tsanawiyah level. The research data was analyzed using the Winsteps program for Rasch Model analysis. The result of Rasch's analysis based on item polarity shows that all test items are positive Point Measure Correlation (PMC) value. This result means that there is no conflict between the item and the constructed being measured. The results of the Mean Square Value show that 18 items have a value less than 1.5 which means that the resulting measurement is productive. 2 items -soal_10 (1.83) and soal_4 (1.64)- have a value greater than 1.5, so it is necessary to review this item for use decision-making. The results of the reliability analysis showed that the reliability index of the item was 0.91 and the reliability index of the respondents was 0.80. The results of this study show that the Tashrif Lughawi test instrument has high validity and reliability so that it can be used as a tool to measure the ability of Tashrif Lughawi students at the Madrasah Tsanawiyah level.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Number Head Together dengan bantuan PPT Interaktif terhadap kemampuan siswa dalam maharah kitabah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi eksperimen dengan desain Nonequivalent Control Group Desain. Subjuct penelitian terdiri dari dua kelas, yaitu kelas control sebanyak 14 siswa dan  kelas eksperimen sebanyak 14 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes yang terdiri dari pretest dan postest. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji t-test (Independent Sample Test). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model Number Head Together (NHT) dengan bantuan PPT Interaktif  berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kemampuan siswa dalam maharah kitabah, khususnya dalam menyusun kalimat menjadi paragraf sempurna. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan menggunakan uji T-test system yang dihitung dari tingkat signifikansi (sig) (0,02<0,05). Dengan demikian, implikasi dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa model NHT dengan bantuan PPT Interaktif cocok digunakan dalam pembelajaran bahasa arab, khususnya dalam keterampilan menulis.
