Abstract

Speaking skill is considered the most difficult to learn. On the other hand, speaking subject is considered a failure in providing competence to students. This can be proven by the lack of student's ability to speak Arabic and the value of learning outcomes. This study aimed to develop cybernetic-based kalam materials that can be used by students at the junior high school level as innovations in the use of teaching materials and learning theory. This research used the R&D method by adapting the six steps of Borg and Gall model development. Meanwhile, a small group trial was conducted on 24 students of an Islamic junior high school in Ogan Ilir, using by purposive random sampling technique. This research resulted in kalam material products using the Canva application. The validation of material experts is 84% and media experts get 90.76% so it can be concluded that the product developed is suitable for use with the revisions suggested by validators.  Based on the comparison of pretest results showed an average of 48.33 and the post-test results were 78.33. Then continued with the nonparametric test, namely the Wilcoxon test. This test was chosen because the data is not distributed normally. Asimp Wilcoxon. Sage. (2-tailed) equals 0.000. Since the value of 0.000 is less than 0.05, it can be concluded that the "hypothesis is acceptable". The results of the effectiveness test showed the development of Cybernetic-based speaking materials in improving knowledge and skills in speaking languages.

Abstract

The increasing use of fossil-based fuels causes an imbalance between energy demand and the availability of that energy. Therefore, the use of rice husk biomass as alternative energy was implemented through the use of rice husk furnaces. This research aims to optimize the efficiency of a small industrial-scale husk furnace by varying the oxygen flow valve holes and the mass of the heated water. The test on the husk furnace was carried out using the Water Boiling Test (WBT) method with the following test parameters: combustion time, FCR, input power, output power, power loss, radiant energy, and thermal conductivity of the pan and chimney of the husk furnace. Tests were carried out on four variations of the oxygen flow valve holes (horizontal: 18 x 36 cm2 and 27 x 36 cm2, vertical: 27 x 24 cm2 and 27 x 12 cm2) and three variations in the mass of heated water (6 kg, 12 kg, and 18 kg). The highest efficiency of the husk furnace was obtained at 18 kg of water, and based on each test parameter, the performance of the husk furnace was most optimal at the horizontal valve hole measuring 27 x 36 cm2 with an average efficiency of 17.32%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the program of strengthening the values of religious moderation in students of Nashihuddin Islamic Boarding School in Bandar Lampung. Religious moderation is an important concept that emphasizes a middle and balanced attitude in carrying out religious teachings, which supports diversity and tolerance. This research uses a qualitative approach with interview, observation, and documentation methods to collect data from various sources, including leaders, administrators, and students of the boarding school. The results show that the programs to strengthen religious moderation at Nashihuddin Islamic Boarding School have succeeded in increasing interfaith tolerance, strengthening intercultural relations, and increasing the social involvement of students. In addition, these programs also have a positive impact on the image of the boarding school in the eyes of the surrounding community, as well as contributing to local social and economic development. Santri are taught to understand and respect religious diversity, which helps to reduce interfaith tensions and promote peace and tolerance. The article also identifies some challenges in the implementation of these programs, such as the need to update the education curriculum to include more materials on religious moderation, as well as the need for specialized training for staff and teachers.Recommendations include developing cooperation with other educational institutions, government agencies and civil society organizations to expand the positive impact of religious moderation values. Thus, this article concludes that strengthening the values of religious moderation in Islamic boarding schools is very important to shape the character of santri who are inclusive, tolerant, and contribute positively to society. Continuous efforts and support from various stakeholders are needed to improve the effectiveness of these programs.

Abstract

ملخص البحث: تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تطوير كتاب مدرسي للغة العربية يعتمد على طريقة البصرية والسمعية والحركية (VAK) لتحسين مهارة الكلام لطلاب بالمدرسة المتوسطة الحكومية الأولى باليمبانج. وقد تم تطوير كتاب المدرسي الكلام على خلفية مشكلة نظام التعلم استنادًا إلى الملاحظات والمقابلات وبيانات الاستبيانات التي قام بها الباحثة من قبل، والتي توضح مشاكل التعلم المختلفة مثل عدم وجود دافعية لدى الطلاب في المشاركة في الدروس، وشعور الطلاب بالملل في التعلم، وقلة نشاط الطلاب في الفصل، وخطوات التعلم التي لا تتفق مع الأهداف المراد تحقيقها في الكتاب المدرسي، والأساليب التي لا تتفق مع أساليب التعلم لدى الطلاب، والخلفيات التعليمية المختلفة للطلاب، مما يؤثر على طريقة فهمهم واستيعابهم للتعلم. المنهجية المستخدمة في هذا البحث هي البحث والتطوير باستخدام نموذج التطوير ADDIE، أي التحليل والتصميم والتطوير التنفيذ والتقويم. حصلت نتائج التحقق من صلاحية المنتجات التي تم تطويرها بناء على خبراء المواد على درجة 80%، ثم بناء على خبراء الإعلام على درجة 87.5% بفئة”صالح جداً“، بينما حصلت نتائج اختبار فعالية المنتج للاختبار القبلي على قيمة 52.3% وبعد استخدام المنتج شهدت زيادة في قيمة الاختبار البعدي بلغت 81.07%، ثم بالنسبة لاستجابة المعلم للكتاب المدرسي الذي تم تطويره حصل على نسبة 81.25% وحصل استبيان رضا الطلاب على نتيجة 86. 9٪ بفئة جيد جداً أو صالح جداً، لذلك فإن تطوير كتاب المدرسي الكلام القائم على طريقة البصرية والسمعية والحركية (VAK) مؤثر في تحسين مهارة الكلام عند الطلاب. ABSTRACT: This study aims to develop an Arabic textbook based on the VAK method (Visualization, Auditory, Kinestetic) in an effort to improve the kalam proficiency of class VII students of MTS N 1 Palembang. The development of kalam textbooks is carried out against the background of learning system problems based on observations and interviews as well as questionnaire data that researchers have done before, explaining various learning problems such as lack of student motivation in participating in lessons, students feel bored in learning, students are less active in class, learning steps that are not in accordance with the objectives to be achieved in the textbook, methods that are not in accordance with students' learning styles and various educational backgrounds of students, thus affecting the way they understand and absorb learning. The methodology used in this research is research and development or R and D with the ADDIE development model, namely analysis, design, development, trial or implementation and evaluation. The results of the validation of the products that have been developed based on material experts get a score of 80% then based on media experts get a score of 87.5% with the category “very feasible”, while the results of the product effectiveness test for the pre test obtained a value of 52.3% and after using the product experienced an increase in the post test value of 81.07%, then for the teacher's response to the textbook that has been developed, get a score of 87.5% with the category “very feasible”. while the results of the product effectiveness test for the pre test obtained a value of 52.3% and after using the product experienced an increase in the post test value of 81.07%, then for the teacher's response to the textbook that has been developed, getting a percentage of 81.25% and a student satisfaction questionnaire obtained a result of 86.9% with a very good or valid category, so that the development of this VAK (Visualization, Auditory, Kinestetic) method-based kalam textbook has an effect in improving maharoh kalam in students. Keywords: textbooks, VAK method (visualization, auditory, kinestetic), maharoh kalam, addie model ABSTRAK: Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan yaitu mengembangkan sebuah buku ajar bahasa arab berbasis metode VAK (Visualization, Auditory, Kinestetic) dalam upaya peningkatan kemahiran kalam siswa kelas VII MTS N 1 Palembang. Pengembangan buku ajar kalam ini dilakukan dengan latar belakang masalah sistem pembelajaran yang berdasarkan observasi dan wawancara serta data angket yang telah peneliti lakukan sebelumnya, menjelaskan berbagai problem masalah pembelajaran seperti minimnya motivasi siswa dalam mengikuti pelajaran menyebabkan mereka merasa jenuh saat belajar., siswa kurang aktif dikelas, proses pembelajaran yang diterapkan tidak sejalan dengan target yang ingin dicapai dalam buku ajar, metode ajar yang tidak selaras dengan cara belajar siswa serta latar belakang pendidikan siswa yang bermacam-macam, sehingga mempengaruhi cara mereka memahami dan menyerap pembelajaran. Metodologi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah research and development atau R and D dengan model pengembangan ADDIE, yaitu analisis, desain, pengembangan, uji coba atau implementasi dan evaluasi. Hasil validasi produk yang telah dikembangkan berdasarkan ahli materi mendapatkan sekor 80% kemudian berdasarkan ahli media mendapat skor 87,5% dengan kategori “sangat layak”, sedangkan hasil uji keefektifitasan produk untuk pre test memperoleh nilai sebesar 52,3% dan setelah menggunakan produk mengalami peningakatan pada nilai post test sebesar 81,07%, kemudian untuk respon guru terhadap buku ajar yang dikembangkan peneliti ini, mendapatkan persentase sebesar 81,25% dan angket kepuasan siswa memperoleh hasil sebesar 86.9% dengan kategori sangat baik atau valid, sehingga pengembangan buku ajar kalam berbasis metode VAK (Visualization, Auditory, Kinestetic) ini berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan maharoh kalam pada siswa. Abstract

Character education is education to shape one's personality through character education, the results of which can be seen in one's real actions, namely good and honest behavior, being responsible, respecting the rights of others, hard work, and so on. Good character means knowing the good, loving the good, and doing the good. Contemporary Islamic thought generally makes episteme, reason, 'aqal, khitab, or paradigm, which is understood as the basis for the growth and development of science and tradition, the object of their thinking. This paper will present one of the efforts to improve character education in contemporary Islamic thought. It will namely present the concept of the leading philosophical thought, namely Ibn Sina, and its implications for today's Islamic education. Ibn Sina divides the level of scientific material that must be passed by students based on the stage of development and age of the child's growth into, among others, Ages 3 (three) to 5 (five) Years, Ages 6 (six) to 14 (fourteen) Years, and Ages 14 (fourteen) and Over.

Abstract

The purpose of the PDTI program's community service activities is to achieve economic independence through the processing of OPEFB into geotextiles and creative industries. The implementation method uses training and assistance in processing OPEFB into fiber using fibrillation milling tools and arranging them into non-woven textile sheets to be applied in diversifying products with high economic value. Participants in PDTI activities are farmer groups from Wirajaya Village, Bogor Regency, which is <100 m from the IPB Dramaga. The evaluation instrument uses pretest and posttest on the quantitative value of knowledge, skills, and motivation in absorbing the technology provided through training. The results of the evaluation showed a significant improvement in people's knowledge, skills, and motivation. This program not only opens up new business opportunities but also contributes to environmental conservation through organic waste reduction and the promotion of a circular economy. In addition, this program has also increased to have a positive impact on the community in terms of knowledge, motivation, and skills. Meanwhile, the results of intensive training and assistance to the community are also able to convert waste into value-added products such as nonwoven geotextiles.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) To explain the learning of mahārah al-qirā’ah at MI Nurul Qomar Palembang. 2) To explain the learning of mahārah al-qirā’ah based on multiple intelligences using the book of mutholaah alhaditsah volume I at MI Nurul Qomar Palembang. 3) To explain the effectiveness of learning mahārah al-qirā’ah based on multiple intelligences using kitab mutholaah alhaditsah volume I at MI Nurul Qomar Palembang. This research uses a combination research method between qualitative and quantitative approaches or better known as Mixed Method. Data collection techniques in this study were carried out through several stages such as observation, interviews, documentation and tests. The data collected in this study will be processed and analyzed by combining two methods, namely qualitative analysis to explore deep insights and quantitative analysis to measure the results objectively. This study shows that the previously applied maharah qiraah learning was relatively ineffective in improving students’ understanding, thus requiring a breakthrough in the use of methods and media to make learning more effective and capable of enhancing students’ comprehension. The Asymp. Sig (2-Tailed) value obtained in this study is 0.000 < 0.05. Therefore, it can be concluded that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected, meaning there is an improvement in students’ maharah qiraah skills after implementing multiple intelligences-based maharah qiraah learning using the Mutholaah Alhaditsah Volume 1 book at MI Nurul Qomar Palembang. يهدف هذا البحث إلى: ١) لمعرفة تعليم مهارة القراءة في المدرسة نور القمر الإبتدائية بالمبانج. ٢) لمعرفة تعليم مهارة القراءة على أساس الذكاءات المتعددة باستخدام كتاب المطالعة الحديثة ١ في المدرسة نور القمر الإبتدائية بالمبانج. ٣) لمعرفة فعالية تعليم مهارة القراءة على أساس الذكاءات المتعددة باستخدام كتاب المطالعة الحديثة ١ في المدرسة نور القمر الإبتدائية بالمبانج. يستخدم هذا البحث أسلوب بحث يجمع بين المنهجين الكيفي والكمي أو ما يعرف بالمنهج المختلط. تم تنفيذ تقنيات جمع البيانات في هذا البحث من خلال عدة مراحل مثل الملاحظة والمقابلات والتوثيق والاختبارات. ستتم معالجة البيانات التي تم جمعها في هذا البحث وتحليلها من خلال الجمع بين طريقتين، وهما التحليل الكيفي لاستكشاف الرؤى العميقة والتحليل الكمي لقياس النتائج بموضوعية. يشير هذا البحث إلى أن طريقة تعليم مهارة القراءة التي تم تطبيقها سابقًا تميل إلى أن تكون أقل فعالية في تحسين فهم الطلاب، مما يتطلب ابتكارًا جديدًا في استخدام الأساليب والوسائط التعليمية حتى تصبح أكثر فعالية وقادرة على تحسين فهم الطلاب. النتيجة التي تم الحصول عليها في هذا البحث هي 0.000 < 0.05. وبالتالي، يمكن استنتاج أن الهاء مقبولة والهاء مرفوضة، مما يعني أن هناك زيادة في قدرة الطلاب على القراءة بعد تطبيق تعليم مهارة القراءة على أساس الذكاءات المتعددة باستخدام كتاب المطالعة الحديثة ١ في المدرسة نور القمر الإبتدائية بالمبانج.

Abstract

The oil content of oil palm fruit is a crucial parameter that must be determined before harvest, as it directly impacts crude palm oil (CPO) quality and processing efficiency. The conventional chemical method for oil content determination is costly and time consuming. This study aims to develop a non-destructive, accurate, and rapid method for predicting oil content in oil palm fruit based on its electrical properties. Measurements of electrical properties were taken across frequencies of 50 Hz to 5 MHz. Oil content of samples were determined by chemical method. Some pre-treatments of electrical properties were carried out and the pre-treated electrical properties were calibrated with reference oil content using simple linear regression and partial least squares regression. Linear regression model showed moderate accuracy (r = 0.61–0.81), with RMSE values between 9.54% and 12.99%. PLS regression models using admittance (r = 0.99, R² = 0.98, SEP 2.20%, RPD 7.99), resistance (r = 0.98, R² = 0.97, SEP 2.62%, RPD 5.56), and impedance (r = 0.98, R² = 0.95, SEP 3.16%, RPD 4.68) produced high prediction accuracy. The results confirm that electrical properties can be used to predict oil content in oil palm fruit rapidly and non destructively. Keywords: Electrical properties, Linear regression, Oil content, PLS.

Abstract

Aquascape as the art of designing and organizing a miniature water garden inside an aquarium has become a desirable hobby for nature lovers and aquatic enthusiasts. Although it offers natural beauty, aquascape requires intensive attention and maintenance to maintain the balance of the aquarium environment. Therefore, the Smart Aquascape concept emerged as an innovative solution by utilizing the integration of the Internet of Things (IoT) to monitor and control the condition of the aquarium environment in real-time through a digital platform that can help facilitate maintenance for aquascape hob-byists and maintain the balance of the aquarium ecosystem. This research aims to design an IoT system to monitor and con-trol water temperature, implement an automatic feeding mechanism, and design an accurate pH regulation system in an aquascape environment by integrating all these features into one connected control platform. ABSTRAK Aquascape sebagai seni merancang dan mengatur taman air miniatur di dalam sebuah akuarium telah menjadi hobi yang diminati oleh pecinta alam dan penggemar akuatik. Meskipun menawarkan keindahan alam, aquascape memerlukan perhatian dan pemeliharaan yang intensif untuk menjaga keseimbangan lingkungan akuarium. Oleh karena itu konsep Smart Aquascape muncul sebagai solusi inovatif dengan memanfaatkan integrasi Internet of Things (IoT) untuk memantau dan mengontrol kondisi lingkungan akuarium secara real-time melalui platform digital yang dapat membantu memu-dahkan perawatan bagi para penghobi aquascape dan menjaga keseimbangan ekosistem akuarium. Penelitian ini ber-tujuan untuk merancang sistem IoT untuk memantau dan mengontrol suhu air, mengimplementasikan mekanisme pemberian pakan otomatis, dan merancang sistem pengaturan pH yang akurat dalam lingkungan aquascape dengan mengintegrasi-kan semua fitur tersebut ke dalam satu platform kontrol yang terhubung.

Abstract

Dunia pendidikan saat ini dihadapkan oleh masalah yang cukup serius  yang menimpa pesera didik yaitu tindakan perundungan yang tentunya berdampak negatif bagi peserta didik. Tindakan perundungan ini merugikan korban hingga mempengaruhi psikisnya dan menyebabkan pelaku bertindak semena-mena pada korban. Pelaku yang melakukan tindakan  perundungan ini dapat memberi pengaruh buruk pada kesehatan fisik dan mental korbannya. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dan observasi awal pada 3 (tiga) Sekolah Dasar di Desa Simpasai Kecamatan Lambu bahwa kemampuan anak mengenal dampak dari tindakan perundungan masih dalam kategori rendah, pemahaman orang tua tentang cara pemberian edukasi bahaya perundungan pada anak masih kurang, minimnya metode dan media pembelajaran mengakibatkan kurangnya inovasi baru dalam mengenalkan pendidikan akan bahaya perundungan dengan memperhatikan tahapan perkembangan usia anak. Metode edukasi bahaya perudungan ini dilakukan melalui teknik bercerita, diskusi, tanya jawab, permainan, pemberian doorprize, serta bernyanyi. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan komunikasi yang sederhana dan penuh kenyamanan sehingga anak tidak terkesan menggurui dan menegangkan. Nilai-nilai edukasi bahaya perundungan ini dibalut dalam untaian nyanyian dan sajian gambar yang memudahkan anak  dalam memahami hal tersebut. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah para siswa mampu memahami cara melindungi dirinya dari kejahatan perundungan serta bijak menggunakan gadget. Oleh karena itu, pihak sekolah harus tetap melakukan edukasi bahaya perundungan yang bersifat kontinyu pada seluruh siswa dengan metode-metode dan media yang menyenangkan.
