Abstract

This study is a survey research with a cross sectional survey design, which aims to describe the ability of junior high school mathematics teachers in writing HOTS items. The population of this study was junior high school mathematics teachers in Sleman Regency, while the sample was 21 teachers determined by non-stratified random sampling. The sample teachers came from 11 schools totaling 21 teachers.  Each teacher created three HOTS items along with their grids. The question items made by the sample teachers were descriptive questions. The question items that had been prepared were then reviewed by two mathematics teachers from leading junior high schools in Yogyakarta. The next stage after validation is the trial. The number of respondents used was 263 students for testing teacher-made questions, namely 127 students in class VIII and 136 students in class VII. The results showed that the quality of the questions produced by the teacher based on the reliability estimation results obtained an estimate of 0.635 for class VII and 0.416 for class VIII. Likewise, the resulting differentiating power is less than 50% of the questions made by teachers who have differentiating power in the good, good, and very good categories. Factors that cause this include the lack of experience of teachers in writing HOTS questions. This is a special note to familiarize teachers with using HOTS questions in daily tests, UTS, and UAS proportionally so that the experience and ability of teachers to write HOTS questions increases.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan pendekatan problem based learning (PBL) dan  problem solving (PS) ditinjau dari kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kemandirian belajar siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan desain penelitian Nonequivalent Pretest-Posttest Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini siswa SMP di Gantiwarno dan sampel penelitian kelas VIIIC dan VIIID. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan tes kemampuan berpikir kritis, angket kemandirian belajar siswa, dan lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran. Validitas isi dilakukan dengan v aiken diperoleh nilai v hitung pretest sebesar 0,97 dan v hitung posttest sebesar 0,99 lebih besar dari v tabel. Estimasi reliabilitas dengan alpha croncbach diperoleh hasil estimasi nilai reliabitas pretest sebesar 0,861, posttest sebesar 0,832, dan angket sebesar 0,90. Hasil reliabilitas alpha croncbach ini 0,70 maka reliabilitas terpenuhi. Hasil penelitian dan analisis data diperoleh bahwa pendekatan PBL lebih efektif dibandingkan pendekatan PS dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kemandirian belajar siswa SMP.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of number heads together learning with intelligent puzzle on mathematics learning outcomes on grade IV students of Kepatihan Primary school Purworejo City. This research method is quasi experimental with Nonequivalent Group Pretest Posttest Design. Sample selected by using saturated sampling. The population of this research is all Grade IV students of Kepatihan Primary School Purworejo. Class IV A (21) as control class, and class IV B (18) as experimental class. Data analysis includes validity, normality, homogeneity test and Mann-Whitney U test with the help of SPSS 23 Program. The results of this research show there is influence of number heads together learning with intelligent puzzle on mathematics learning outcomes on grade IV students of Kepatihan Primary School Purworejo. The result of this research shows Asymp.Sig (2tailed) 0.001 < 0.05. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion, there is a difference in the mean score of learning outcomes experimental class is 94.90 and control is 81.21.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan jenis-jenis kesalahan dan faktor penyebab kesalahan yang dilakukan oleh siswa kelas VIII SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Kalasan dalam menyelesaikan soal AKM Numerasi berdasarkan metode Newman. Jenis penelitian ini deskripsi kualitatif, dilakukan pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Kalasan yang berjumlah 100 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tes tertulis, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Instrumen tes terdiri dari 8 butir soal AKM Numerasi yang telah divalidasi oleh dosen pembimbing dan dua guru mata pelajaran matematika SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Kalasan. Pengujian keabsahan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan triangulasi sumber. Teknik analisis data digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Jenis kesalahan siswa dianalisis menggunakan metode Newman, yaitu 1) kesalahan memahami, 2) Kesalahan transformasi, 3) kesalahan keterampilan proses, dan 4) kesalahan penulisan jawaban akhir. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh kesimpulan yang menunjukkan bahwa siswa melakukan kesalahan pada tahapan-tahapan Newman, yaitu kesalahan memahami sebesar 36,40%, kesalahan transformasi sebesar 47,28%, kesalahan keterampilan proses sebesar 12,95%, dan kesalahan penulisan jawaban akhir sebesar 3,38%. Faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan terjadinya kesalahan, yaitu: tidak dapat memahami maksud soal secara mendalam, kesulitan dalam memahami makna kalimat dengan baik, kurang teliti, lupa rumus, kurangnya pemahaman terhadap materi yang ada pada soal, kurangnya latihan soal bentuk soal cerita sehingga siswa tidak terbiasa dengan menuliskan langkah-langkah menuliskan soal cerita dengan lengkap dan runtut, tidak dapat menentukan rumus atau langkah penyelesaian yang tepat, tidak dapat menghitung pecahan atau desimal, ragu-ragu saat mengerjakannya, kekurangan waktu pada saat pengerjaan soal, tidak terbiasa menuliskan kesimpulan, dan terburu-buru dalam mengerjakan soal.

Abstract

The application and development of accurate and reliable technology-based test instruments to assess aspects of knowledge and attitudes is an innovation teachers need to meet the demands of the National Assessment Policy. This research aims to apply the Computer-Based Test (CBT) Testlet Model with Local Wisdom Context as a New Form of Innovation in Supporting the Implementation of Minimum Competency Assessment and Integrated Character Survey. In addition, this research is a new solution for teachers in learning assessment. This research is development research. This research involved 11 experts, each from media and computer experts, material experts from mathematics education study programs, and measurement experts. The test instrument that has been developed has been proven to be valid using content validity and analyzed using the Aiken formula. In contrast, validity has been proven for the character survey using confirmatory factor analysis and reliability estimation using Cronbach alpha. This research produced a testlet model of CBT and test instruments in the form of a minimum competency assessment and an integrated character survey, which have proven valid and reliable.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an assessment instrument for strengthening students' Pancasila profile in middle school mathematics teaching, which teachers can use. This research follows a development process using the Plomp model, consisting of three phases. The respondents involved in this study were six experts in mathematics education and information technology, 23 middle school mathematics teachers, and 1,297 students. The research results show that Aiken's V value is 0.89, which exceeds the v-table of 0.630, indicating good validity. The Cronbach Alpha reliability analysis results indicate a strong outcome, with a value of 0.751. Confirmatory factor analysis using the R program showed significant factor loadings with a p-value < 0.05. Apart from that, the achievement percentage for all dimensions is in the good category, with an average achievement of 87.06%. These results prove that the assessment instrument developed is suitable for teachers to measure the strengthening of Pancasila student profiles in mathematics teaching at school. The developed instrument can be used as an effective evaluation tool in mathematics teaching to strengthen the Pancasila Learner Profile and help identify areas that require improvement in teaching to achieve a more balanced profile across all dimensions.

Abstract

ABSTRAK SMK menjadi lembaga pendidikan formal yang dirancang untuk mempersiapkan siswa agar dapat langsung terlibat dalam dunia kerja. Faktanya, pada tahun 2022 lulusan SMK memberikan kontribusi Tingkat Pengangguran Terbuka tertinggi di Indonesia. Melalui tracer study SMK yang dikembangkan Direktorat Mitras DUDI, Kemendikbudristek bertujuan menyediakan data dan informasi penyelenggaraan pendidikan SMK di Indonesia. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pengaruh antara pembelajaran (teori, praktik, dan sikap) di SMK, pendapatan lulusan, dan kepuasan DUDI terhadap lulusan menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan sumber data sekunder dari tracer study SMK 2023. Populasi penelitian ini adalah lulusan SMK yang bekerja dan DUDI pada tahun 2022 di Provinsi Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 1538 data yang terdiri dari lulusan yang bekerja dan DUDI (pimpinan perusahaan/lembaga/instansi tempat lulusan bekerja) yang mengisi instrumen tracer study. Teknik analisis data menggunakan pendekatan SEM berbantuan program R-Studio. Model SEM dapat menguji model pengukuran dan struktural secara simultan, serta mengevaluasi signifikansi variabel laten. Penelitian menunjukan data tidak mengikuti distribusi normal multivariat sehingga model diestimasi menggunakan metode Maximum Likelihood with Robust Standard Errors (MLR). Dalam penelitian ini diperoleh ukuran kecocokan model χ2Scaled = 260,7, RMSEA Robust = 0,07, CFI Robust = 0,972, TLI Robust = 0,949, dan SRMR = 0,051. Dengan demikian, model fit dan model yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini dijadikan dasar untuk analisis terhadap permasalahan yang diteliti. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran teori, praktik, dan sikap tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan DUDI dari lulusan SMK; dan pendapatan lulusan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan DUDI dari lulusan SMK. ABSTRACT SMK are formal educational institutions designed to prepare students for immediate engagement in the workforce. However, in 2022, SMK graduates contribute the highest percentage to the Open Unemployment Rate in Indonesia. The tracer study for SMK, developed by the Direktorat Mitras DUDI, Kemendikbudristek, aims to provide data and information on the implementation of vocational education in Indonesia. Purpose of this research is analyzing the relationship between learning (theory, practice, and attitude) in SMK, graduates' income, and DUDI satisfaction with graduates using Structural Equation Modeling. This quantitative research utilizes secondary data from the 2023 SMK tracer study. The population comprises SMK graduates employed and DUDI in Yogyakarta Special Region Province in 2022. The sample includes 1538 data points from employed graduates and DUDI (company/institution leaders) who completed the tracer study instrument. Data analysis employs SEM using RStudio. SEM tests measurement and structural models simultaneously and evaluates latent variable significance. The data did not follow multivariate normal distribution, so the model was estimated using maximum likelihood with robust standard errors (MLR). The model fit indices were χ2Scaled = 260,7, RMSEA Robust = 0,07, CFI Robust = 0,972, TLI Robust = 0,949, and SRMR = 0,051, indicating a good fit. Results show that theoretical, practical, and attitudinal learning do not significantly influence DUDI satisfaction with vocational school graduates, while graduate income significantly effects DUDI satisfaction with vocational school graduates.

Abstract

Guru Sekolah Dasar di Desa Guwo Sari, Pajangan, menghadapi kesulitan dalam membuat soal yang sesuai dengan kaidah penulisan yang benar, sehingga memengaruhi kualitas pembelajaran dan penilaian. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, dirancang solusi berupa pelatihan dengan tema “Web-Based Attitude and Knowledge Assessment Training for Elementary School Teachers” yang dilaksanakan oleh Prodi S3 PEP SPs UNY. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 25 guru dan berlangsung di Gedung Disdikpora Kabupaten Bantul selama satu minggu, dari 10 Oktober hingga 17 Oktober 2024. Materi pelatihan mencakup kebijakan pendidikan, penyusunan instrumen penilaian sikap dan pengetahuan, serta praktik penggunaan teknologi berbasis web. Pelatihan ini berjalan lancar dan mendapatkan respon positif dari peserta, terlihat dari antusiasme guru, keberhasilan mereka menyelesaikan tugas dengan baik, serta tingginya nilai evaluasi yang diberikan. Selain itu, para peserta memberikan respon positif dan apresiasi tinggi terhadap pelatihan penyusunan penilaian ini dengan nilai yang diberikan dominan berada pada nilai 8-10. Selain meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru, kegiatan ini memotivasi mereka untuk mengintegrasikan teknologi dalam sistem penilaian secara lebih efektif. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan kontribusi nyata terhadap peningkatan kualitas pendidikan di wilayah Desa Guwo Sari, Pajangan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan efektivitas pembelajaran berbasis infographic project ditinjau dari statistical reasoning dan learning persistence siswa SMA pada materi Penyajian Data Statistika. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuasi eksperimen dengan model pretest-posttest control group design sehingga terdapat kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Kelas eksperimen menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis infographic project, sedangkan kelas kontrol menggunakan model pembelajaran ekspositori. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas X di SMA Angkasa Adisutjipto Yogyakarta dengan cluster random sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa lembar observasi, pretest-posttest kemampuan statistical reasoning, dan angket learning persistence siswa, yang telah divalidasi. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji beda rata-rata multivariat T2 Hotteling’s dan uji t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat ≥ 75% siswa tuntas mencapai KKTP (minimal 75) dalam kemampuan statistical reasoning; (2) terdapat ≥ 75% siswa memiliki learning persistence pada kategori tinggi (skor angket 70); (3) terdapat perbedaan rata-rata nilai posttest kedua kelas yaitu rata-rata statistical reasoning dan learning persistence kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi daripada kelas kontrol; (4) nilai rata-rata posttest statistical reasoning kelas eksperimen sebesar 83,27 ≥ 75 (KKTP); dan (5) nilai rata-rata postscale angket learning persistence siswa sebesar 81,44 mencapai kategori tinggi (70). rata-rata nilai posttest statistical reasoning kelas eksperimen (≥ 75 mencapai KKTP), Sehingga, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis infographic project efektif ditinjau dari statistical reasoning dan learning persistence siswa SMA.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze research trends in the field of technology use in the school environment. Using predetermined keywords, researchers selected documents using the PRISMA method and obtained 599 final documents which were analyzed using the R Program Biblioshiny, Publish or Perish 8, and VOSviewer to map trends in research results with bibliometric analysis. From this analysis it can be concluded that research on the use of technology in the school environment began in 1974 until 2024 with peak publications in 2023 and peak citations in 2018. The United States is the most productive country in the field of most productive countries. Nanyang Technological University is the most productive affiliate, recording the highest number of publications. Journal Q1 "Computers and Education" is the most productive journal with the highest h-index. Hyuksoo Kwon from the Republic of Korea is the writer with the highest h-index. The publication with the highest citations. There are 11 keyword clusters, with the keywords "Artificial Intelligence", “Programming”, “Digitization”, “Online Learning”, “Augmented Reality”, and “Cloud Computing” being the next recommended keywords if you want to do research in the field of use technology in the school environment.
