Abstract

Pada Lembaga pendidikan bagi ASD di usia dewasa pengembangan aktualisasi potensi ASD menuju kemandirian sebaiknya diarahkan pada pengembangan keterampilan vokasional. London School Beyond Academy (LSBA) merupakan lembaga pelatihan vokasional yang khusus menerima penyandang disabilitas khusus ASD. Selama 1 tahun terakhir di LSBA berdasarkan observasi dan wawancara terhadap dosen, asisten dosen dan siswa menghadapi masalah dalam pembelajaran. Proses kegiatan pembelajaran masih menggunakan cara konvensional seperti bahan ajar (print out) dan metode pembelajaran (ceramah dan teacher centered). Salah satu mata kuliah yang mengalami penurunan yang cukup signifikan di LSBA yaitu Teknik Celup khususnya materi Shibori. Shibori merupakan teknik yang berasal dari Jepang dan biasa disebut dengan batik Jepang. Siswa ASD dalam meningkatkan keterampilannya memerlukan dukungan berbasis Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK). Salah satu model e-book yang dapat membantu guru dalam pembuatan bahan ajar dapat menggunakan multimedia flipbook. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kebutuhan e-book yang akan dikembangkan dengan Flipbook. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian dan pengembangan (research and development). Hasil analisa kebutuhan yang telah dilakukan, dapat diindentifikasi beberapa permasalahan, diantaranya (1) Pemahaman materi yang diberikan dan buku panduan yang sangat kurang diberikan kepada pendidik. (2) Pemanfaatan media pembelajaran dan teknologi yang kurang digunakan oleh pendidik. (3) Pendidik menggunakan metode pembelajaran Teknik Celup Shibori yang kurang menarik. Namun peserta didik memerlukan media pembelajaran yang menarik, mudah digunakan dan dapat digunakan dimana saja. Sehingga dengan dikembangkannya e-book menggunakan flipbook sehingga diharapkan dapat memenuhi kebutuhan peserta didik dan meningkatkan motivasi belajar.

Abstract

Rapidly developing educational technology innovations require educational institutions to provide innovation in creating effective and efficient learning in order to achieve optimal educational goals. Blended learning is an alternative for institutions that still implement conventional learning to integrate technology into learning and overcome the problem of learning duration so that students can learn actively and flexibly. This study aims to collect information about student needs in designing a flexible blended learning model to optimize learning in learning media courses. Needs analysis is used to explore information about gaps, student needs, and the readiness of lecturers and institutions in creating a blended learning model. This study uses an exploratory research type. The population in this study sample is all PAI students with a sample used 28 students who have taken learning media courses. Data collection techniques are carried out by observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The data obtained are analyzed by descriptive qualitatively. The results of the study indicate that students need a more active and flexible learning system, this shows that a flexible blended learning model is one solution to increase the effectiveness of the learning process. The reason is, that 21st-century learning supports the realization of smart education by utilizing technology, namely internet-based learning to prepare students as prospective teachers in creating learning media that synergizes with 21st-century learning.

Abstract

Technological advances and the increasing complexity of challenges in the world of work demand more effective and contextual leadership training designs. This study aims to explore the characteristics of the included study, the effectiveness of Case-Based Learning (CBL) in improving learning outcomes in basic leadership training, as well as the factors that affect the success of its implementation. Using the PRISMA approach, articles that met the inclusion criteria were systematically analyzed from the ScienceDirect database. The results showed that although many studies supported the effectiveness of CBL in improving training outcomes, there was a variation in findings that pointed to the need for further research to understand the contextual factors that influence its success. Evidence shows that CBL is effective in developing leadership skills, teamwork, and management abilities. However, elements such as organizational culture, participant characteristics, and implementation methods can affect the results achieved. Training design that includes simulation, feedback, collaboration, as well as gender inclusivity plays an important role in the successful implementation of CBL. This study emphasizes the need for more in-depth studies to identify specific variables that affect the effectiveness of CBL in basic leadership training. These findings provide valuable insights for future leadership training program designers and encourage further exploration of CBL success factors in various contexts.

Abstract

The use of teaching strategies that interesting for all students by teachers is still lacking, especially for students who have indicators of slow learning.This study aims to develop a thematic learning model using role-playing techniques in inclusive schools. The Hannafin & Peck development model is adopted in this study along with the research and development methodology. The development phases are carried out starting with the needs analysis, design, development, and implementation stages. Processes for review and revision will be used in these three levels. Material and design experts have given developing thematic learning models utilizing the role-playing approach in the Merdeka curriculum in inclusive schools excellent marks for viability. Average material expert scores result in a score of 97.36%, whereas average design expert scores result in a score of 92.10%. The efficacy test results were then collected from 14 students, with an average score of 74.90% on the pretest. The posttest results, in comparison, had an average value of 85.14%. The development that has been done can be used by teachers at the inclusive schools to carry out teaching activities to students regarding thematic learning using the role-playing method in the Merdeka curriculum. This will ensure that the effectiveness test that was carried out was successful by getting an excellent. In order to realize government programs that provide inclusive education services that are friendly to all students.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain data on the role of music on the cognitive abilities of children with mild intellectual disabilities. Children with mild intellectual disabilities have intellectual characteristics which include: thinking skills that tend to be low, difficulty in paying attention and remembering things. So that they experience obstacles to work on and complete tasks related to mental and intellectual functions, lack of vocabulary, and lack of ability in abstract thinking. Therefore, a special way is needed to train the cognitive abilities of children with mild intellectual disabilities, namely with one type of art that is easier for children to accept and easier to learn, namely music.The research method used in this study is a literature review or the collection of library data obtained from Google Scholar who has a relationship and connection with the identified problem. Research analysis is done by collecting, analyzing and concluding the data obtained. The results of this study are music has an influence and plays an important role in improving the cognitive abilities of children with mild intellectual disabilities. Music can improve children's cognitive abilities with intellectual disabilities such as stimulating children's brain abilities with mild intellectual disabilities, training children's memory or brain memory, increasing brain intelligence, training language skills by remembering, understanding, and mastering vocabulary, influencing social and emotional development, training concentration and focus on children so that they can develop the potential that exists in children with mild intellectual disabilities.

Abstract

Pengabdian Masyarakat ini bertujuan pendampingan  kepada orang tua dan warga lainnya tentang  mengenali dan memeperlakukan anak-anak berkebutuhan khusus dengan benar,  dan memetakan jenis Anak Bekebutuhan Khusus Kegiatan dilaksanakan atas dasar tindak lanjut hasil pendampingan tahun 2020 kepada orang tua tentang anak berkebutuhan pendidikan khusus. Kemudian atas permintaan dari Ketua Rusun dan ketua RW. Metode yang digunakan  focus group discussion pada orang tua dan warga lainnya, kemudian observasi, wawancara pada orang tua dan anak,  tes  dan membuat catatan lapangan tentang hasil identifikasi dan asesmen. Hasilnya  teridentifikasi 51 anak  terindikasi berkebutuhan khusus,  kemudian berdasarkan penyaringan ada 14 anak untuk ditindaklanjuti dengan asesmen. Hasil asesmen ditemukan  6  jenis hambatan; yaitu, slow learner, Learning dificulties, down syndrome, Social and Emotional Disorder, Intelectaul disabilitiy,  Physichal and health disabilities. Hasil pendampingan   terbentuknya pemahaman orang tua dan  warga Rusunawa  yang benar tentang anak berkebutuhan khusus, sehingga mereka dapat memperlakukan anak-anak berkebutuhan khusus dengan benar dan lebih manusiawi.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini merupakan lanjutan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat sebelumnya yang telah dilakukan oleh Indina tarjiah, dkk pada tahun 2021 dan 2022. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat sebelumnya telah berhasis mengasesmen 14 anak lambat belajar pada aspek membaca dan menulis. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah mengimplementasikan panduan terkait peleksanaan pembelajaran Iqro dengan metode bermain peran dan menggunakan media kartu bergambar. Tujuan berikutnya adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar anak dan proses pembelajaran Iqro yang menarik, menyenangkan bagi anak lambat belajar. Metode pelaksanaan yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah wawancara, observasi, demontrasi, simulasi, diskusi dan pendampingan. Waktu pelaksanaan dilakukan selama enam hari pada tanggal 11 April, 02 Mei, 15 Mei, 16 Mei, 18 Mei, dan 25 Mei 2023. Hasil implementasi metode role playing dengan media kartu bergambar kepada 16 anak lambat belajar secara keseluruhan dapat mengatasi kesulitan yang dialami. 5 dari 16 anak sudah dapat mengatasi semua kesulitannya. 5 dari 16 anak sudah dapat mengatasi hampir semua kesulitannya.  4 dari 16 anak sudah dapat mengatasi setengah kesulitannya. Serta 2 dari 16 anak hanya beberapa saja yang dapat mengatasi kesulitannya.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini merupakan lanjutan dari tahun 2021 yang telah berhasil mengidentifikasi 14 dari 51 anak berkebutuhan khusus untuk dilakukan asesmen dan pendampingan orang tua di TPA AL-Hidayah Rusunawa Jatinegara Kaum Jakarta Timur. Pengabdian Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman orang tua dan guru melalui kegiatan pendampingan tentang anak lamban belajar serta asesmen membaca dan menulis, Metode yang digunakan dalam pendampingan adalah ceramah, focus group discussion, tanya jawab, sedangkan dalam kegiatan asesmen metode yang digunakan observasi, wawancara, tanya jawab, tes. Hasil yang diperoleh dari pendampingan ini adalah terbentuknya pengetahuan dan pemahaman orang tua dan guru tentang anak lamban belajar dengan karakteristik kognitif, akademik, emosi, dan sosial. Kemudian perlunya bantuan orang tua dalam mengarahkan, membimbing putra-putrinya dalam aktivitas akademiknya, sehingga mampu menumbukan sikap dan perilaku yang kondusif. hasil asesmen membaca dan menulis pada 14 anak yang terindikasi lamban belajar ditemukan bahwa 3 dari 14 anak mengalami kesulitan dalam mengenal huruf jika huruf tersebut diacak. 6 dari 14 anak kesulitan untuk membedakan huruf yang bentuknya hampir mirip seperti huruf U-V, u-n, b-d-p, m-w, dan u-y. 6 dari 14 anak bermasalah dalam aspek ketepatan membaca. 2 anak kurang lancar membaca kalimat dan kata yang berakhiran huruf r maupun n, serta saat membaca kata "Air" terbalik menjadi "Ari". 4 anak sudah duduk di kelas 1 SD tetapi belum bisa membaca dengan baik.

Abstract

AbstractTahsin Quran is a method of learning to read the Quran that strives to increase the reader's ability to adhere to the guidelines established (tajwid). In tahsin Quran learning, teachers must pay close attention to students' letter pronunciation in the Quran, ideally face-to-face or in sync. However, the COVID-19 pandemic has necessitated online learning, requiring some alterations to its application. The purpose of this study was to determine how students respond to online Quran learning conducted virtually in one of South Tangerang's Quran learning facilities. Students are given questionnaires about instructor competencies, the substance of learning materials, and the efficiency of tahsin online learning, which are reinforced by an interview with one of the teachers, an institution member, and students. The results indicated that, based on student answers, the institution's implementation of tahsin Quran online learning has been highly successful, with some notes and inputs to consider to improve the quality of Quran online learning in the future.AbstrakTahsin Al-Qur’an merupakan pembelajaran membaca Al-Qur’an yang bertujuan untuk memperbaiki bacaan Al-Qur’an agar sesuai dengan kaidah (tajwid) yang ditetapkan. Dalam pembelajaran tahsin Al-Qur’an, guru atau instruktur perlu memperhatikan ketepatan tiap siswanya dalam melafalkan huruf dalam Al-Qur’an sehingga pembelajaran idealnya dilakukan secara tatap muka atau sinkron. Namun pandemi COVID-19 mengharuskan pembelajaran dilaksanakan secara daring sehingga membutuhkan beberapa penyesuaian dalam pelaksanaannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti bagaimana respon siswa pembelajaran tahsin Al-Qur’an online yang dilaksanakan secara virtual di salah satu lembaga pembelajaran Al-Qur’an di Tangerang Selatan. Kuesioner mengenai kemampuan guru, isi materi pembelajaran, dan efektifitas pembelajaran tahsin yang dilaksanakan secara online diberikan kepada siswa yang kemudian hasilnya dilengkapi dengan hasil wawancara kepada salah satu guru, pihak lembaga, dan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan respon siswa pembelajaran tahsin Al-Qur’an online yang dilaksanakan di lembaga tersebut telah berjalan sangat baik dengan beberapa catatan dan masukan yang perlu diperhatikan untuk peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran tahsin Al-Qur’an daring yang akan datang.How to Cite: Shabrina, R., Chaeruman, U.
