Abstract

Proressive Muscle Relaxation (PMR) merupakan salah satu metode relaksasi sederhana yang melalui dua proses yaitu menegangkan dan merelaksasikan otot tubuh. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui apakah pemberian PMR dapat menurunkan tekanan darah pada hipertensi derajat I di Kota Denpasar. Telah dilakukan penelitian eksperimental dengan rancangan Pre and Post Test Control Group Design. Sampel berjumlah 24 orang yang telah terdiagnosa hipertensi derajat I. Sampel dibagi menjadi 2 kelompok, yaitu kelompok perlakuan (PMR) berjumlah 12 orang dan kelompok kontrol (kontrol negatif) berjumlah 12 orang. Rerata selisih penurunan tekanan darah pada kelompok perlakuan dan kelompok kontrol diperoleh hasil p=0,000 (p<0,05) untuk data tekanan darah sistolik dan p=0,000 (p<0,05) untuk data tekanan darah diastolik. Disimpulakan bahwa terdapat perbedaan penurunan tekanan darah yang signifikan antara kelompok perlakuan dan kelompok. Hal ini disebabkan karena efek parasimpatis oleh saraf vagus pada jantung dan pembuluh darah. Proressive Muscle Relaxation dapat menurunkan tekanan darah pada hipertensi derajat I.

Abstract

ABSTRACTDecreased muscle strength lead to a decline in mobility to the elderly. The purpose of this study to prove that the administration of isotonic quadriceps exercise is more effective in increasing the mobility of the elderly than isometric quadriceps exercise. Experimental research with pre-test and post-test two group design. The mean decrease in group 1 time of 3.79 seconds with p = 0.000 (p <0.05), group 2 occurs an average decrease in time by 2.14 seconds with p = 0.000 (p <0.05). This means that in every group increased mobility significantly. Different test the difference between group 1 and group 2 showed no significant difference with the result p = 0.002 (p <0.05). Based on the results of that study concluded that application of isotonic quadriceps exercise is more effective in increasing the mobility of the elderly than isometric quadriceps exercise. Abstract

ABSTRACTAgility is a form of exercise with fast movement and changing direction and agile. Seeing the many agility exercisestargeting the coordination of muscle nerves, reaction speed, balance, muscle strength alone but did not increaseflexibility significantly. This study aims to determine the comparison of agility ladder exercise lateral run method withcircuit training in terms of increased agility.The research design with experimental Pre-Test and Post- Test TwoGroup Design, sample of 18 people divided into 2 groups with simple random sampling. The sample of this researchis futsal team player Griya Tansa Trisna Dalung. Group 1 was given Agility Ladder Exercise Lateral Run method andgroup 2 was given Circuit Training, research for 5 weeks with dose of exercise 3 times in one week. Illinois Agility runtest used before and after training to measure agility. Normality test using Saphiro Wilk, homogeneity using Levene'stest and hypothesis testing using Independent T-test. The data mean group 1 and group 2 were normal and homogeneousdistributed with mean increase in group 1 was 2.89 and group 2 was 4.47. Difference between group 1 andgroup 2 was obtained p = 0,000 (p <0,05) meaning statistically significant difference.This research concludes circuittraining exercises more effective are used to improve agility on the team's futsal player Griya Tansa Trisna Dalung.Keywords: agility, agility ladder exercise, lateral run method, circuit training

Abstract

Kecepatan adalah merupakan salah satu komponen biomotorik yang dominan dalam perlombaan lari 100 meter. Lari 100 meter merupakan bagian dari cabang olahraga atletik yang memiliki durasi singkat, intensitas yang tinggi dan mengembangkan sistem anaerobik. Data kecepatan lari 100 meter sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan pada ke dua kelompok, diuji dengan analisis statistik parametrik. Dengan uji paired t- tes didapatkan perbedaan rerata kecepatan lari 100 meter sesudah pelatihan pada masing – masing kelompok dengan nilai p < 0,05. Rerata kecepatan lari 100 meter sebelum pelatihan pada kelompok satu adalah 17,08 detik dan sesudah pelatihan 14,25 detik. Berarti peningkatan kecepatan 2,838 detik, atau sebesar = 16.70 %. Sedangkan rerata kecepatan lari 100 meter kelompok dua sebelum pelatihan 17,04 detik dan sesudah pelatihan 14,79 detik, peningkatan kecepatan sebesar 2,251 detik atau 13.21 %. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa rerata kecepatan lari 100 meter sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan pada masing – masing kelompok ada perbedaan yang signifikan, dengan nilai p < 0.05. Namun dalam analisis data pada independent sample tes, kecepatan pelatihan kelompok satu dengan pelatihan akselerasi lebih cepat = 0,587 detik dari pada pelatihan kelompok dua dengan pelatihan interval.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Agility is one's ability to change position and direction of motion quickly, efficiently and precisely without losing balance. Agility is very important in football. Based on the theory that burpee's exercise and hexagon drill can improve agility. This study was conducted to compare burpee's exercise and hexagon drill in improving agility in soccer athletes of children aged 9-11 years in Football School Guntur Denpasar. Hypothesis Test with Paired Sample T-test and Independent Sample T-test. The result of Paired Sample T-test in Burpee’s Exercise group is p=0.001 (p<0.05) and Hexagon Drill group is p=0.000 (p<0.05) showed the significant differences in the agility improvement before and after intervention. The result of Independent T-test showed there was significant differences between Burpee’s Exercise and Hexagon Drill, where p=0.046 (p<0.05). This it can be concluded that Burpee’s Exercise is better for improving agility than Hexagon Drill of soccer athletes of children aged 9-11 years at the Football School Guntur Denpasar. Abstract

ABSTRACT Pain is most commonly caused by myofascial pain syndrome, myofascial pain syndrome pain can affect the flexibility of the joints that will cause a decrease range of motion neck joint. The purpose of this study was to determine the comparison between muscle energy technique and infrared with contract relax stretching and infrared in increasing the range of motion neck joint on online game players with myofascial pain syndrome upper trapezius muscle in Denpasar. This research is an experimental research with pre and post test design group control design. The sample is an online game player of 22 people divided into two groups. Group 1 was given intervention of muscle energy technique and infrared, while group 2 was given contract relax stretching and infrared intervention. Result of hypothesis test with paired t-test, group 1 got difference average 6,36 ± 0,62 (p = 0,000) while group 2 got difference mean 5,00 ± 0,357 (p = 0,000). Differential test of improvement after group 1 and group 2 treatment using independent sample t-test showed that group 1 increase was higher than group 2 and this result was significantly different p = 0,019 (p <0,05) Keywords: Range of motion neck joint, myofascial pain syndrome, contract relax stretching, infrared

Abstract

Dynamic balance is the ability to maintain body position while moving. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of four square step interventions that is more effective in improving the dynamic balance rather than balance strategy exercise. This research is an experimental design using Pre and Post Test of Two Group Design. The results showed an increase in dynamic balance in the treatment of group 1 of 3.222 and there was an increase of 4,444 in the treatment group 2. Results of paired samples t-test found a significant difference with p = 0.000 (p <0.05)in the treatment group 1 and p = 0.000 (p <0.05) in the treatment of group 2. The differential test of Mann Whitney u test showed no significant difference between the treatment group 1 and treatment group 2 in which p = 0.01 (p <0.05). It can be concluded that the four square step interventions is more effective in improving the dynamic balance rather than the balance strategy exercise in the elderly. Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to know the effect of therapeutic walking exercise to decrease blood preassure in obesity children with hypertension 9-10 years old at Saraswati Tabanan Elementary School. This is the experimental study with Pre and Post Test Two Group Design. The amount of sample were 16 person that divided into 2 groups, one group was experimental group and the other group was control group.Normality and homogeneity test using Saphiro-Wilk Test and Levene's Test. The result of Paired Sample T-Test for blood pressure in the experimental group was obtained p = 0,000 (p <0,05) for systolic blood pressure and p = 0,010 (p <0,05) for diastolic blood pressure. In the control group, systolic blood pressure was obtained p = 0,598 (p> 0,05) and diastolic blood pressure got p value = 0,170 (p> 0,05). This shows that in the experimental group there was a significant decrease in blood pressure, whereas in the control group there was no significant decrease in blood pressure. The mean difference of decrease of blood pressure in experimental group and control group was obtained p = 0,000 (p <0,05) for systolic blood pressure data and p = 0,009 (p <0,05) for diastolic blood pressure data. Abstract

Nyeri punggung bawah non-spesifik adalah nyeri punggung yang paling sering terjadi. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui apakah pemberian Mulligan Bent Leg Raise lebih baik dalam menurunkan nyeri fungsional punggung bawah non-spesifik dari pada McKenzie exercise pada buruh angkut beras di Desa Mengesta, Tabanan. Penelitian eksperimental dengan rancangan Pre and Post Test Control Group Design. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah purposive sampling. Sampel merupakan 28 orang buruh angkut beras di Desa Mengesta dengan nyeri punggung bawah yang dipilih berdasarkan skor Modified Oswestry Low Back Pain Disability Questionnaire dengan nilai >20%. Rerata selisih penurunan skor nyeri fungsional LBP non-spesifik pada kelompok Mulligan Bent Leg Raise dan kelompok McKenzie Exercise diuji dengan Independent t-test dengan hasil yang bermakna p = 0,000 (p<0,05). Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian intervensi Mulligan Bent Leg Raise lebih baik dalam menurunkan nyeri fungsional punggung bawah non-spesifik dari pada Pemberian McKenzie Exercise pada Buruh Angkut Beras di Desa Mengesta, Tabanan
