Abstract

Catfish farmers face marketing challenges, resulting in delayed harvests and significant price declines. This program aims to improve the economic capacity of women's farmer groups through catfish-based culinary training in Sukamanah Village, Rancaekek District, an area impacted by industrial waste. The method used was a participatory, learning-by-doing model and a Training-of-Trainers (ToT) approach. The program was implemented over six months, encompassing needs analysis, training, mentoring, and evaluation. Results showed significant improvements in participants' knowledge, food processing skills, and product innovation capabilities. The resulting products, such as siomay (siomay), tofu meatballs, and fried catfish dumplings, have a high level of acceptance and have the potential to become household-based micro-enterprises. This program also contributes to women's empowerment by increasing productivity and family income. Furthermore, the digital-based mentoring approach and the role of PKK (Family Welfare Movement) cadres as local agents have proven to support the program's sustainability. Thus, culinary training based on local potential can be an effective strategy for improving family welfare in areas affected by industrial pollution.

Abstract

The industrial practice assessment tool that can objectively measure the competency achievements of students of the Family Welfare Education Study Program during Industrial Practice at the Family Learning Center (PUSPAGA) is essential. The research objectiveis to produce a digital assessment model for Industrial Practices on the job performance of the social worker. The study used a qualitative descriptive method through expert judgment and the limited availability of exams and responses. Participants are industry practitioners, PUSPAGA external consultants, and a team of government agency experts. Researchers collect data Research results show that a digital assessment model on the job performance of social workers is very feasible to implement and achieve student performancein the implementation of Industrial Practices at PUSPAGA; all of them are declared competent.External Mentors on Industry Practice as a digital assessment user t responds strongly agree thatthe digital assessment model on the job performance of socialworkers is the application: (a) which makes it easier to assess student performance objectively online; (b) more practical, systematic, and efficient in assessing practicum performance; (c) who helps and provides user satisfaction in providing an objective assessment of practicum performance.

Abstract

The advancement of digital technology in the Industry 4.0 era has transformed the paradigm of vocational education, necessitating that students acquire digital literacy as an essential ability. Digital literacy encompasses not just the technical proficiency in utilizing software or programs but also entails a critical understanding of ethics, data security, and professional communication skills. This study seeks to examine the impact of digital literacy on the internship performance of vocational students. The research design employs a descriptive-correlational quantitative methodology with simple linear regression analysis. Data was collected via a survey of 50 students enrolled in the Mechanical Engineering Education and Electrical Engineering Education programs at Jakarta State University, who were participating in internships in diverse manufacturing, automotive, and information technology firms. The questionnaire has undergone validation and reliability testing and is augmented by comprehensive interviews with internship supervisors to enhance the findings. The study indicates that digital literacy significantly influences internship performance, evidenced by a significance value of 0.031 (< 0.05) and an F-statistic of 4.946 (> F-table 1.624). Digital literacy has been demonstrated to improve students' technical, communicative, management, and collaborative abilities, while also augmenting their preparedness for employment in a digitized industrial landscape. This discovery affirms that digital literacy must be established as a core ability inside the vocational education curriculum. This research is unusual in its explicit emphasis on connecting digital literacy with internship performance in the industrial sector through a quantitative methodology, surpassing prior studies that predominantly concentrated on the academic context. This research underscores the necessity to enhance the curriculum, fortify business ties, and develop digital training programs to adequately educate vocational students for the challenges of the workforce.

Abstract

The research entitled "Students' Performance as Social Worker in the Practice of Child Support Services at Vocational Schools, Department of Social Work" aims to determine the performance of students as a social worker in the practice of child support services as well as to obtain data on student performance as a social worker in the practice of mentoring services which include cognitive, psychomotor and affective aspects. This research applies a descriptive method with a quantitative approach, using data collection techniques through interview techniques, observation, and the distribution of performance assessment tools. The population in this study consisted of one productive teacher majoring in Social Work who taught Child Care and Advocacy subjects in class XI Social Work 3, totalling 35 people. The results of this research show that students have a social worker role as companion, facilitator, and educator in accompanying, facilitating, and teaching child clients about fine motor skills, gross motor skills, and child socialization. This analysis focuses on three aspects of assessment, namely cognitive, psychomotor and affective assessment.

Abstract

Alat penilaian yang standar di SMK Akomodasi Perhotelan yang digunakan saat praktikum sangat diperlukan. Alat penilaian yang ada saat ini belum mengacu pada SOP Hotel dan kebutuhan dari masing-masing kompetensi keahlian. Urgensi penelitian ini mengembangkan alat penilaian yang berbentuk e-rubric yang dibutuhkan guru SMK Akomodasi Perhotelan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan: 1) Panduan Pembuatan dan Penggunaan E-rubric Assessment Bidang Akomodasi Perhotelan, 2) E-rubric dengan Pendekatan Competency Based Assessment Pada Bidang Keahlian Akomodasi Perhotelan di SMK. Penelitian ini mengunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan Research and Development. Penelitian mencakup studi pendahuluan, tahap pengembangan dan tahap uji validasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari peserta didik dan guru produktif bidang keahlian akomodasi perhotelan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan uji kompetensi. Analisis data penelitian dilakukan sesuai dengan prosedur dan karakteristik dari temuan data penelitian; untuk data kuantitatif dianalisis secara kuantitatif dan untuk data kualitatif dianalisis secara kualitatif. Alat penilaian kinerja yang biasa digunakan secara manual dapat dikembangkan menjadi e-rubric assessment oleh guru di sekolah maupun pada saat peserta didik sedang melakukan Praktek Kerja Lapangan di hotel. Hasil validasi terhadap panduan pembuatan dan penggunaan E-Rubric dengan Pendekatan Competency Based Assessment pada bidang keahlian akomodasi perhotelan di SMK dinyatakan sangat layak untuk diimplementasikan

Abstract

Child marriage remains a critical issue in Indonesia, particularly among adolescents aged 12 to 15 years who are vulnerable due to psychological immaturity and environmental influences. Strengthening adolescents' knowledge and communication skills is crucial in preventing early marriage. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of educational videos in enhancing adolescents' knowledge of child marriage prevention by improving their communication skills. Employing a quasi-experimental one-group pre-test-post-test design, the study involved 32 students of class VII-F at SMP Negeri 27 Bandung. Data were collected through pre-test and post-test assessments, using multiple-choice tests administered before and after the intervention. The data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon signed-rank test to determine the significance of differences between pre-test and post-test scores, and the N-Gain calculation was employed to assess the effectiveness of the intervention. The findings demonstrated a statistically significant increase in knowledge after the intervention, with an average N-Gain score of 0.5690, indicating moderate effectiveness. Improvements were observed in critical communication skills, including speaking, listening, overcoming verbal barriers, understanding nonverbal cues, and conflict resolution. Educational videos effectively enhance communication skills and knowledge about child marriage prevention among adolescents.   Abstrak Pernikahan anak tetap menjadi masalah kritis di Indonesia, terutama di kalangan remaja berusia 12 hingga 15 tahun yang rentan akibat ketidakmatangan psikologis dan pengaruh lingkungan. Peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan komunikasi remaja sangat penting untuk mencegah pernikahan dini. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas video edukatif tentang keterampilan komunikasi dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan remaja mengenai pencegahan pernikahan anak. Menggunakan desain quasi-eksperimental satu kelompok pre-tes dan post-tes, penelitian ini melibatkan 32 siswa kelas VII-F di SMP Negeri 27 Bandung. Data dikumpulkan melalui penilaian pre-tes dan post-tes, menggunakan tes pilihan ganda yang diberikan sebelum dan setelah intervensi. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon signed-rank untuk menentukan signifikansi perbedaan antara skor pre-tes dan post-tes, dan perhitungan N-Gain digunakan untuk mengukur efektivitas intervensi. Temuan menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan secara statistik dalam pengetahuan setelah intervensi, dengan skor N-Gain rata-rata 0,5690, menunjukkan efektivitas moderat. Peningkatan diamati pada keterampilan komunikasi kritis, termasuk berbicara, mendengarkan, mengatasi hambatan verbal, memahami isyarat nonverbal, dan penyelesaian konflik. Video pendidikan secara efektif meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi dan pengetahuan tentang pencegahan pernikahan anak di kalangan remaja. Abstract

Perilaku merokok di kalangan remaja tetap menjadi masalah kesehatan masyarakat yang signifikan, yang dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor, termasuk pengaruh teman sebaya, paparan lingkungan, kurangnya pengetahuan, dan kondisi psikologis selama masa remaja. Meningkatnya jumlah perokok remaja di Indonesia menyoroti perlunya upaya pencegahan melalui pendidikan kesehatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh konseling kesehatan terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan dan sikap remaja mengenai bahaya merokok serta mengidentifikasi peran dukungan keluarga dalam mendorong perubahan perilaku. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pra-eksperimental dengan desain pretest-posttest satu kelompok. Peserta adalah remaja sekolah menengah atas yang menerima intervensi konseling kesehatan melalui video edukatif, diskusi interaktif, sesi konseling ringan, dan keterlibatan orang tua. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner pretest dan posttest yang mengukur pengetahuan kognitif, sikap, pengaruh lingkungan, dan niat perilaku terkait merokok. Intervensi dilakukan secara daring melalui Zoom dan langsung di rumah klien. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan remaja mengenai zat-zat berbahaya dalam rokok, dampak kesehatan dari merokok, serta bahaya perokok pasif. Perubahan positif dalam sikap terhadap gaya hidup sehat dan pencegahan merokok juga teridentifikasi setelah intervensi. Keterlibatan keluarga memberikan dukungan emosional dan memperkuat motivasi remaja untuk mengurangi perilaku merokok. Namun, perubahan perilaku belum terjadi secara signifikan, terutama dalam hal kepercayaan diri remaja untuk menolak ajakan teman sebaya untuk merokok. Kesimpulannya, konseling kesehatan yang dikombinasikan dengan dukungan keluarga secara efektif meningkatkan pengetahuan dan sikap remaja terhadap bahaya merokok, meskipun bantuan berkelanjutan masih diperlukan untuk mencapai perubahan perilaku yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Recurrent floods in Indonesia profoundly undermine the socio-ecological well-being of victims' families, disrupting the intricate balance of human-environment interactions and household social structures. This study rigorously dissects the determinants of such well-being in flood-prone regions like West Java, spotlighting post-disaster adaptation processes, socio-ecological resilience, and the pivotal role of community support in recovery. A qualitative methodology was employed, featuring a peer-reviewed systematic literature review augmented by thematic analysis grounded in Bronfenbrenner's socio-ecological framework. Key findings highlight severe disruptions to family welfare from ecological habitat destruction, intra-household conflicts fostering emotional strain, and constrained access to recovery resources like financial aid and infrastructure. In contrast, vital enablers—robust social networks and community-driven empowerment programs—elevate resilience by up to 40%, measured via comprehensive well-being indicators such as emotional stability and basic service access. These revelations stress the imperative for integrated policies that fuse sustainable environmental restoration, school- and family-based disaster preparedness education, and bolstering of family social capital to secure long-term prosperity. Notably, the research enriches curricula for character education and adaptive digital parenting strategies within national disaster mitigation frameworks.
