Abstract

Abstrak. Podcast berbentuk audio visual kini semakin populer. Hal tersebut membuat para pembuat konten semakin bebas dalam mengekspresikan obrolan mereka dan disebarkan ke publik. Adanya perkembangan tersebut tak lepas dari pelanggaran-pelanggaran etika yang terjadi dalam media sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pelanggaran etika komunikasi dalam media sosial di konten Podcast Deddy Corbuzier episode bersama Agung Karmalogy. Penelitian dilakukan melalui pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik analisis konten. Peneliti menyelidiki terkait pelanggaran etika yang terjadi dalam konten Podcast Deddy Corbuzier episode bersama Agung Karmalogy. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya bentuk pelanggaran terhadap etika moralitas sosial. Temuan ini memberikan wawasan tentang pentingnya etika moralitas sosial dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat. Kata kunci : Etika Komunikasi, Youtube, Media Sosial, Podcast Abstract. Audio-visual Podcasts are now increasingly popular. It gives content creators more freedom to express and distribute their chats to the public. This development cannot be separated from ethical violations that occur on social media. This research explores violations of communication ethics in social media in Deddy Corbuzier's Podcast episode with Agung Karmalogy. The study was conducted using a qualitative approach with content analysis techniques. Researchers are investigating ethical violations in the Deddy Corbuzier Podcast episode with Agung Karmalogy. The research results show some forms of violations of social morality and ethics. These findings provide insight into the importance of social morality ethics in social life. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi bagaimana pola komunikasi interpersonal orang tua berperan dalam membentuk konsep diri anak di era digital, dengan fokus pada konteks sosial di Desa Manang, Sukoharjo. Latar belakang penelitian ini berangkat dari perubahan pola komunikasi keluarga akibat kemajuan teknologi digital yang memengaruhi proses interaksi, kedekatan emosional, serta pembentukan identitas diri anak. Kerangka teori yang digunakan adalah Teori Penetrasi Sosial, yang menjelaskan kedekatan dalam hubungan interpersonal berkembang melalui tahapan pengungkapan diri yang semakin dalam. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan metode fenomenologi. Subjek penelitian melibatkan lima keluarga yang dipilih secara purposive, mempertimbangkan variasi tingkat pendidikan, kemampuan penggunaan teknologi orang tua, serta rentang usia anak antara 16–23 tahun. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dan observasi partisipatif untuk memperoleh gambaran utuh mengenai dinamika komunikasi dalam keluarga. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pola komunikasi autoritatif, ditandai keterbukaan, dukungan emosional, serta interaksi dua arah, berkontribusi terhadap terbentuknya konsep diri anak yang positif, stabil, dan percaya diri. Sebaliknya, pola otoriter maupun permisif cenderung melahirkan konsep diri yang lemah, terfragmentasi, atau tidak konsisten. Temuan ini menegaskan relevansi teori penetrasi sosial dalam konteks keluarga digital, sekaligus menyoroti pentingnya komunikasi reflektif dan empatik. Kesimpulannya, pola komunikasi yang hangat, terbuka, dan penuh dukungan menjadi fondasi utama dalam memperkuat konsep diri anak di tengah tantangan sosial dan teknologi era digital.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the 'Aisyiyah proselytizing movement using twitter. This research is descriptive with the paradigm of postpositvism. This study used QDAS (Qualitive Data Analysis Software) Nvivo 12 Plus in analyzing data using the Chart analysis and Word Frequency features. The source of data in this study is the social media account twitter @PP'Aisyiyah. The results showed that ' Aisyiyah as a religious-based women's organization was able to adapt in carrying out its proselytizing from contemporary to digital massively through @PPAisyiyah's twitter account. Dakwah 'Aisyiyah on twitter is more dominant on the content of the convey of the hadith. Meanwhile, Aisyiyah's proselytizing narrative on twitter focuses on the women's movement adapting to the current situation. Then the intensity of proselytizing on twitter 'Aisyiyah was highest in April to June along with the direction from the Leader of 'Aisyiyah to continue preaching in the conditions of Covid-19. More than that, the chords involved with 'Aisyiyah in proselytizing on twitter are academic figures and Muhammadiyah figures.

Abstract

This research raises how the media reports on sexual violence at Universitas Sriwijaya. Sexual violence on campus is a sensitive issue in Indonesia. There are two media examined in this study, Tribunnews.com and Asumsi.co. This study uses narrative analysis from Algreidas Greimas. The results of this study indicate that journalists as narrators have not placed themselves on the victim's side. Journalists try to be neutral in the narrative structure of the news. This impartial narrative makes the news, not in favour of the victim.

Abstract

Filmmaking requires careful preparation and planning led by a producer. The producer's role is very important because it manages all activities from pre-production, and production, till post-production. The Piknik Panik film is a short fiction film produced by Umar Al Jufri who criticizes the existence of tour brokers in the community. Piknik Panik film has won the Best Acffest Movie Award Category Shot Fiction 2021. This research is a qualitative descriptive study with in-depth interviews and document studies in data collection. The results of the research show that the stages carried out by producers during pre-production include assembling a team, making a breakdown of scripts, making schedules, designing budgets, and managing actors. At the production stage, the producer performs his duties in terms of monitoring, controlling, and solving problems. The post-production stage is preparing editing needs, making timelines, reports, and film distribution. With the analysis that has been done, the role of the producer in the film Piknik Panik. There is a stage that is adjusted to the needs and conditions of production, namely the rehearsal process is eliminated because the producer maximizes scene blocking, tempo, and gestures during reading.

Abstract

Mass media, particularly television, plays a significant role in shaping public opinion and providing information to society. However, I the competitive race to capture viewer’s attention, ethical breaches in content presentation often occur. This study investigates such ethical violations, focusing on Ivan Gunawan’s controversial attire on the “Brownis” show aired by Trans TV. Using a qualitative descriptive method through observation and literature review, the research identifies significant breaches of decency and propriety norms as stipulated by the Indonesian Broadcasting Comission Broadcasting Behaviour Guidelines abd Broadcast Program Standards. The Indonesian Broadcasting Comission issued a formal written reprimand to the program for these violations. The findings emphasize the necessity for strict adherence to broadcasting regulations to uphold moral strandards and national identify. This study provides essential insight and guidelines for the broadcasting industry to enforce ethical dress codes, ensuring that content aligns with societal values and legal standards in Indonesia.

Abstract

Muhammadiyah Covid-19 Command Center (MCCC) is an institution established by the Muhammadiyah Central Board to become the center for handling the Covid-19 pandemic. This institution has effectively become a government collaborator in dealing with the pandemic. MCCC conducts health promotion by utilizing various media, including Youtube. This study found that MCCC has a professional standard in producing Youtube content. MCCC always conducts research before the production process. The research is conducted to determine the needs of the community. In the distribution process, MCCC tries to build interaction with the audience. Interaction is an important aspect of increasing engagement. In the end, this involvement is part of the process so that the public understands Covid-19.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze gender relations and the stereotype of women as housewives in the Soklin Liquid 2024 advertisement. This research uses Roland Barthes' semiotic method to explore the representation of women through denotation, connotation, and myth. The theoretical framework of this research is based on the concepts of gender relations, stereotypes, and advertising to understand how social norms shape perceptions of women's roles. The research results show that this advertisement reinforces the traditional stereotype of women as housewives responsible for domestic tasks, such as doing laundry. Women are depicted wearing neat clothing, staying indoors, while men and children are shown enjoying leisure time outside the house. This representation maintains the view that women's primary role is limited to household tasks, reflecting existing cultural norms.

Abstract

This advertisement features a representation of straight hair as the ideal hair for women. Advertisements often promote certain beauty standards, particularly by idealizing straight hair as a characteristic of the "perfect" woman. In society, women who are considered ideal are usually depicted with straight hair, fair skin, smooth complexion, and slim bodies. This representation creates a narrow beauty stereotype, pressuring women to conform to these standards in order to be accepted or considered attractive. This advertisement features the representation of straight hair as the ideal hair for women. In society, women who are considered ideal are usually depicted with straight hair, fair skin, smooth complexion, and slim bodies. This representation creates a narrow beauty stereotype, pressuring women to conform to these standards in order to be accepted or considered attractive. In this study, it was found that straight and neat hair for women is something that many women idolize. Meanwhile, in Indonesia, there are distinctive hair shapes that vary in each region.
