Abstract – This study aims to analyze the influence of financial knowledge and financial self-efficacy on financial behavior, with mental accounting as a mediating variable, among undergraduate students in Denpasar City. The background of this research lies in the importance of sound financial management among university students, who are transitioning into financial independence. This study employs a quantitative approach and uses Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) for data analysis. Data were collected through a survey of 160 active undergraduate students from several universities in Denpasar, selected using purposive sampling. The results indicate that both financial knowledge and financial self-efficacy have a significant positive effect on financial behavior. Mental accounting also shows a direct positive effect on financial behavior and mediates the relationship between the independent variables (financial knowledge and financial self-efficacy) and financial behavior. These findings highlight the crucial role of cognitive and psychological factors in shaping students’ financial behavior. The study suggests that financial education programs in universities should not only focus on increasing knowledge but also on strengthening financial self-efficacy and developing mental accounting strategies to foster healthy and sustainable financial behaviors.   Keywords: financial knowledge, financial self-efficacy, mental accounting, financial behavior, university students

Abstract

Limited marketing access remains a major obstacle for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Pering Village, Blahbatuh District, Gianyar Regency, Bali Province, leading to low sales volumes and profits. Although these enterprises have the potential to produce various superior products, their market reach is constrained, partly because digital technology is still used primarily for personal rather than business communication. To address this issue, a community service program was implemented that included digital marketing training, product photography assistance, the development of compelling promotional narratives, and support in creating business accounts on appropriate digital platforms. The program has enabled MSME actors to expand their marketing access and become more prepared to compete in the digital marketplace, thereby supporting increased sales performance and business growth. Participants improved their digital marketing skills, creating better product photos and promotions. They applied this knowledge by setting up Google Business profiles and social media accounts, expanding their online presence.

Abstract

Craft business is a business that is carried out by selling various handicraft products that have functions and economic value. Many Indonesian people have been involved in the craft industry, one of which is the bedeg craft industry, in Bali. However, during the implementation process, bedeg entrepreneurs experienced many obstacles such as a lack of ability to prepare financial report books, lack of marketing outreach, and a bedeg design that seemed to be monotonous. The purpose of implementing this trial is to help partners, namely Bedeg Sudiana Craftsmen, to overcome the problems they face. The process of implementing the program is carried out by carrying out 3 service activity programs including providing assistance and assisting in making bookkeeping and financial reports, making social media and providing assistance and assisting in product design development. The results of the implementation of this activity show that the partners are very enthusiastic in participating in the training and that there is an increase in the ability of partners to manage finances. In addition, with the training activities, the reach of partner businesses has become wider, resulting in an increase in the number of product orders. Partners hope that this service activity can be carried out in a sustainable manner because it can have a positive influence on business progress.

Abstract

Craft products are export commodities that contribute to Bali's economic growth, but have experienced a decline in export value. The increasingly complex dynamics of the craft industry present various strategic challenges for craft businesses in Bali. Considering that craft products not only serve as a source of regional and national income but also constitute a cultural heritage, this requires attention. This study has theoretical innovations regarding the integration of innovation and relationship marketing as intangible resources from the RBV perspective. Furthermore, competitive advantage as a mediating variable in this relationship has rarely been studied specifically in the context of traditional craft products facing the global export market. In this context, Balinese craft businesses are required to increase their competitiveness through the implementation of sustainable innovation and strengthening relationships with customers as an effort to encourage improved marketing performance. This study involved all craft businesses in Bali as the population. The sample size was 96. Data were analyzed using PLS-SEM. The results of the study proved that innovation influences competitive advantage and marketing performance, but the effect was not significant on marketing performance, while customer relationships influenced competitive advantage and marketing performance. In this study, the competitive advantage achieved by Balinese craft businesses.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of Return on Assets (ROA) and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) on stock prices of technology sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during 2021–2023. The research uses a quantitative explanatory method, analyzing 87 firm-year observations obtained from 29 technology companies listed continuously on the IDX. Multiple linear regression was employed to test both partial and simultaneous effects, preceded by classical assumption tests to ensure data reliability. The results demonstrate that ROA and DER have a positive and statistically significant effect on stock prices both individually and jointly. Firms with higher profitability and optimal leverage tend to achieve stronger stock performance and higher investor confidence. The findings underline the importance of efficient asset utilization, balanced capital structures, and transparent communication with investors in stabilizing stock prices and enhancing corporate value.
