Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to analyze the development of Ledre MSMEs, examine the role of stakeholders in the empowerment process, and identify empowerment strategies for Ledre entrepreneurs in Gapluk Village, Purwosari Sub-District, Bojonegoro Regency. Methodology/approach: This study employs a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques included observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. Miles and Huberman’s interactive analysis model was used to explore the development of Ledre MSMEs in Gapluk Village and the role of stakeholders in community empowerment, as well as SWOT analysis to determine appropriate strategies for empowering Ledre MSMEs in Gapluk Village. Results/findings: The results showed that the number of Ledre MSMEs in Gapluk Village has declined from 2020 to 2024 due to various factors. Therefore, efforts to empower Ledre MSMEs to overcome this decline must involve stakeholders from the village to the regency-level government, relevant agencies or institutions, and Ledre business actors such as policymakers, coordinators, facilitators, implementers, and accelerators. Conclusions: Collaboration between stakeholders is expected to create the right strategy for empowering Ledre MSMEs in Gapuk Village according to the potential strengths and weaknesses, challenges, and development opportunities they face. Limitations: The limitations of this study include the geographical coverage limited to Ledre MSMEs in Gapluk Village as the case study location; therefore, the results may not be generalizable to other regions. Contribution: The results of this study can serve as a reference for policymakers in formulating policies that support the empowerment of MSMEs through collaboration between MSMEs actors, BUMDes, and related stakeholders to maximize local potential in community empowerment efforts.

Abstract

The length of employment and the level of employee education significantly affect how employees carry out their tasks, particularly the use of self-protection devices (APD) in hospitals. APD usage is essential for reducing risks, especially for road care workers who face high infection risks due to the daily turnover and delayed treatment of patients. Unlike general hospital patients who stay for an average of two to five days, road care workers encounter new patients constantly, increasing their infection risk. This study aims to examine the impact of employment length and education level on APD compliance among RSUD road care employees in Karanganyar district. Using quantitative methods, the research was conducted at RSUD Karanganyar, involving 64 road care workers selected through stratified and random sampling. Data were collected via questionnaires and analyzed using double linear regression. The results indicated that both employment length and education level significantly influence APD compliance among RSUD road care workers, with a significance value of 0.049 < 0.05. In conclusion, both work duration and educational background play a crucial role in ensuring APD compliance among these workers.

Abstract

Educating students in entrepreneurship is a way to enhance the number of entrepreneurs. At the higher education level, it is executed by incorporating entrepreneurship courses into the curriculum with particular emphasis. Attention must be directed towards various stakeholders, particularly the institutions that facilitate entrepreneurship education, to ensure that the program enhances not only quantitative outcomes (the number of new student ventures) but also qualitative outcomes (sustainable new ventures), even after the completion of the educational process. The presence of multiple objectives among members of the digital new venture group for interaction is a significant issue that requires additional investigation in this study. This research uses the Multiple Goals Theory framework in interpersonal communication to delineate the objectives of interaction as perceived by each member of the new digital venture group. The study employed a quasi-qualitative methodology, incorporating in-depth interviews, observations, and recording, involving 15 student participants from the new digital venture group and the facilitator. Every student in the new digital venture group possesses interaction objectives classified into three categories: instrumental goals, interpersonal goals, and identification goals. This study demonstrates that Multiple Goals Theory indicates the interaction objectives of students in the new digital venture group encompass primary goals, mostly categorized as instrumental goals, specifically aimed at achieving an optimal course evaluation and developing a new venture. In this study, secondary interaction goals, which are theoretically intended to impede the attainment of primary interaction goals, instead facilitate the fulfillment of those basic goals.

Abstract

This study examines how digital non-formal education platforms shape knowledge authority and power relations in the Indonesian context. Qualitative case studies of educational YouTube, national online courses, and global platforms have been conducted using content observation, documentation, and critical discourse analysis based on Foucault's theory. The results of the study show that the legitimacy of knowledge shifts from academic authority to popularity metrics and algorithmic logic. Algorithms, gamification, and certification schemes function as disciplinary mechanisms that guide learning behavior while recording user data. Learning subjects are constructed as independent and productive individuals, but also as consumers and data commodities. The conclusion of the study confirms that claims of inclusivity in digital education are partial because inequality of access and digital literacy continue to create new exclusions, while knowledge is spread fragmentarily outside the formal curriculum.

Abstract

A just energy transition requires not only technological shifts toward clean energy but also social inclusion and fairness in the world of work. Trade unions play a dual role—protecting workers while shaping energy policy and advancing social justice—yet their strategic contributions remain understudied, especially in comparisons between developed and developing countries. This study conducts a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) using the PRISMA protocol on 25 peer-reviewed publications (2015–2025). Trade union strategies are interpreted using Kalt’s (2022) typology—oppositional, reactive, affirmative, transformational—and analyzed through six empowerment dimensions: structural, organizational, advocacy/negotiation, socio-cultural, economic, and ideological. Findings show unions in developed countries predominantly adopt affirmative and transformational strategies, engaging in reskilling initiatives, climate negotiations, and institutionalized social dialogue. Conversely, unions in developing countries rely more on oppositional or reactive strategies due to limited institutional capacity and weaker bargaining positions amid rapid transition policies. The study underscores the need for multidimensional empowerment to strengthen unions’ ability to influence policy and safeguard workers during decarbonization. These insights offer practical implications for policymakers and labor organizations committed to equity, sustainability, and socio-ecological justice in energy transitions.

Abstract

In the context of digital development, digital education policy requires synergy between individuals and institutions. The Indonesian government has implemented various policies to promote digital transformation within the education system, aiming to improve the quality of civics education, expand access to education, and foster the development of good citizenship. Teachers’ perceptions of digital education policy are a key factor in determining the effectiveness of policy implementation in the classroom. This study aims to analyze teachers’ perceptions of digital education policy in civics educations learning, using a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study method. Data were collected through interviews and a teacher perception questionnaire adapted from cognitive theory. The validity of the data was tested using technique and source triangulation. The findings show that teachers generally have a positive view of digital education policy. They believe that internal student factors and the diversity of digital media influence learning success. However, 50% of teachers have not yet implemented digital media across all civics education materials. This indicates a need for greater convergence between education policy development and the practice of technology-based civics education learning in the classroom.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the process of cultural communication in cultivating anti-corruption education through the teachings of Saminism in the Sikep community of Blora Regency. Saminism encompasses values such as honesty, simplicity, responsibility, and the prohibition against infringing on the rights of others, which align with the principles of anti-corruption education. This research uses a qualitative approach with a cultural communication perspective to understand how values are conveyed, interpreted, and transmitted. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation of the Sikep community’s daily life. The results show that cultural communication occurs through interpersonal communication conducted by parents and community leaders. Messages are delivered in the form of pitutur (advice), everyday language, and role modeling. The communication media are traditional and non-formal through family interactions and daily habits. Cultural communication and symbolic interactionism analysis show that anti-corruption values are internalized through repeated social practices and become collective habits passed down through generations, forming shared awareness of honesty and responsibility.
