Abstract

With the development of increasingly sophisticated technology and communication, social media tends to be used as the main pillar in delivering information digitally, communicating in business, helping product marketing, communicating with customers and suppliers, and reducing costs that must be incurred conventionally. Social media that are usually used are those that are open and whose existence is recognized by the wider community and are made in various forms of platforms with a structured system or known as social media networks. One of the users of the social media network is household MSME actors, especially those affected by Covid-19 which has caused a decrease in the number of buyers in MSME businesses. With easy and fast access to social media networks, MSME actors are expected to be bolder in promoting their products because there is no time limit on their use and the wide range of product marketing areas to the global market, thus making social media networks an effective marketing medium. However, household MSME products still have obstacles in penetrating the export market, namely obstacles in quality standards. To overcome this, household MSME actors need to understand and apply marketing strategies that support efforts to increase competitiveness by using social media networks in the face of increasingly fierce business competition. MSME actors must also make extensive use of social media networks in developing their businesses so that they can progress quickly and be ready globally. In this article, the discussion focuses on the importance of understanding and applying marketing strategies for household MSME products on social media networks.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic affects maternal health both directly and indirectly and these direct and indirect effects are interrelated. This is indicated by the restrictions that are carried out on almost all routine services, including Antenatal Care services, where pregnant women do not want to go to the puskesmas or other health care facilities. Pregnant women are afraid of contracting the Covid-19 virus and the unpreparedness of health services in terms of personnel and infrastructure, including personal protective equipment, is the reason that pregnant women prefer to postpone pregnancy checks and classes for pregnant women. So that Antenatal Care services can still be carried out in order to fulfill the community's right to basic health, especially for pregnant women after the Covid-19 disruption, the Indonesian government needs to start new habits and provide new guidelines for health services, especially pregnant women so that they can adapt to new habits and keep getting essential services needed. In this article, the discussion will focus on the management of Antenatal Care services in a sustainable manner after the Covid-19 disruption.

Abstract

The development of increasingly dynamic technology and information and ease of access, especially in buying and selling transactions, will support the creation of the digital market era. One of the conventional business actors in Indonesia is SMEs players. The determination of a global pandemic such as Covid-19 by the WHO in early 2020 in Indonesia had a negative effect on conventional business actors in shopping centers such as traditional markets, shops, and malls. The negative effect is in the form of a decrease in the number of buyers who visit and make buying and selling transactions at the shopping center. This is due to the emergence of the Indonesian government's policy of large-scale social restrictions, especially direct contact that was imposed during the pandemic to control the spread of Covid-19. To maintain sustainability, increase the development of SMEs players, and avoid these negative effects, changes in buying and selling transactions from the conventional market era to the digital market era need to be carried out. In this article, the discussion will focus on the right transformation of SMEs to be implemented in the current digital market era.
