Abstract

This study aimed to test the value of the gap as well as efforts to close the gap through the Servqual test. The population in this study were consumers of Kotabaru Land middle-upper housing through the Taman Anggrek Jogonalan Klaten brand where this housing has implemented the green building concept. Samples were taken in the research by purposive sampling as many as 40 respondents. Attributes in the green building service quality questionnaire include tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy. Quantitative tests were carried out including item tests of reliability and validity and Servqual confirmation tests. The test results obtained that the confirmation value has a positive value of 58.27 with the lowest positive value on the reliability dimension. Improvement efforts must continue to be carried out by the company with the emphasis on improvement on the value that has the lowest positive dimension followed by the next positive value. The increasing service quality of the housing of Kotabaru Land-Taman Anggrek Klaten applying the green building concept will lead to the increasing of consumer satisfaction and strengthening of company competitiveness

Abstract

This research aims to conduct a perceptual mapping test of private universities in the Soloraya area based on student perceptions of service quality. The research object as samples was students at five universities, namely Unwidha, UMS, Muhammadiyah University of Klaten, Unisri and Unsa with a total of 100 respondents. The sampling technique was non-random purposive sampling. Service quality attributes tested in the research included brand image, quality of education, tuition fees, campus facilities, academic environment, and quality of teaching staff provided by a number of universities. The test activities carried out in the research included testing the validity and reliability of items as well as multidimensional scaling tests. The MDS test is useful in providing exposure to the perception map in the mind map of students at each university that is close to each other or farthest away based on the attribute of service quality excellence. The university position that appears in a perception map will show the excellent quality position of a university compared to other universities. Quantitative test of the perception map used SPSS 21 software. The research results found a map of the position of each university as an effort to develop a strategy to increase competitive excellence. UMS and Unisri are in a relatively excellent quadrant position compared to the other three universities. The beginning of research activities is to propose marketing strategy solutions to win competition among university institutions in the future

Abstract

Electronic waste (e-waste) is currently a global issue which has a negative impact on the environment people and health. The negative impact has begun to spur the electronic industry in the World and in Indonesia to create environmentally friendly products and management of waste arrangement to be recycled. This study aims to analyze the effect of green marketing on intention decisions based on Zam-Zam electronic green product shop in Klaten City Central Java. The sample is 120 respondents of electronic product buyer consumers. The sampling technique is done by non random- purposive sampling. The variables used in the study include green product quality activities and green promotional improvement as an independent variable and green product purchasing intention as the dependent variable. Test of the statistics model done by SPSS 21. Model tests include the validity and reliability of questionnaire items, normality test, correlation coefficient test, multiple linear regression test, partial test (t test), simultaneous test (F test) and determination coefficient test (R2 test). The results of the study prove that the quality of green electronic products and green advertising have a positive and significant effect on the decision to intention electronic products at Zam-Zam shop in Klaten City

Abstract

This research aims to determine the excellent position of each sharia hospital in Klaten Regency so that it can determine the right marketing strategy to satisfy and increase public interest in trusting the quality of services provided by sharia hospitals. This research was carried out with a quantitative approach through Multivariate multidimensional scaling statistical tests. The novelty of the research combines the concept of competitive excellence, quality performance of sharia health service institutions through position mapping using a multidimensional scaling model. The population in the study were all people who had used sharia hospital services in Klaten. The sample of respondents was taken using a purposive sampling technique as many as 120 adult respondents. Attributes in the questionnaire include Sharia facilities, paramedical services, medical expertise, medical atmosphere and facilities, administrative services. In the final stage of the research, a map of the position of each sharia hospital was formed so as to create the competitiveness of each excellent sharia hospital in Klaten Regency to welcome the era of achieving SDGs goals and achieving optimal sharia economic growth in the health sector in 2045

Abstract

This study was conducted by developing a performance analysis model of the competitiveness of Integrated Islamic Middle Schools (SMPIT). As a result of acquiring new students, SMPIT is experiencing increased student interest. The study aims to build a marketing strategy model based on competitive quality performance excellence and to determine the position of excellence of each SMPIT in Klaten City. The quantitative approach was used through a multivariate multidimensional scaling statistical test. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, which included 112 respondents. The quantitative test of the model consists of the validity and reliability test of the instrument and the quantitative multidimensional scaling test of SMPIT competitiveness using the SPSS 21 program. This study produces attributes in the questionnaire including market orientation, program innovation, environmental adaptability and the influence of competitive advantage. The results of the quantitative test show that the instrument items are valid and reliable. SMPIT Ibnu Abbas and SMPIT Hidayah have the highest competitive advantage points in the competitiveness map of superior schools, both quantitative and qualitative, in Klaten Regency, namely in Quadrant I. The final stage of the research has formed a map of each SMPIT so that the competitiveness of superior Islamic high schools is created to welcome the era of demographic bonus and economic growth towards the golden generation of Indonesia in 2045. The novelty of this research is that it combines the concept of positioning the competitiveness of superior Islamic schools based on multidimensional scaling with the object of observation of secondary Islamic education. This study combines the idea of competitive advantage of the quality performance of Islamic educational institutions through the positioning of multidimensional scaling models.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are (1) to develop Guided Discovery Learning in integral calculus subject; (2) to identify the effectiveness of Guided Discovery Learning in improving the students’ understanding toward integral calculus subject. This research was quasy experimental research with the students of even semester in Mathematics Education Widya Dharma University as the sample. Cluster Random sampling was conducted to determine control group that was taught using Conventional model and experimental group that was taught using Guided Discovery Learning model. The instruments of this research included pre-test, post-test, and student’s response questionnaire. The data of post-test was analyzed using T-test. The result was H0 was rejected for the level of significance The result of this data analysis found out that Guide Discovery Learning was more effective than Conventional Model. It was supported by the result questionnaire. The result of questionnaire that  more than 75% questionnaire items got 67.65% positive response. It means Guided Discovery Learning can increase students’ interest in joining integral calculus class.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of work environment, supervision, carrer development, compensation and allowance on employee satisfaction PDAM Tirta Merapi Klaten.The type of this research is Quantitative research with regression analysis. The population in this study as all employees of PDAM Tirta Merapi Kabupaten Klaten amount to 155 people. The multiple regression results show Y = 7.001 + 0.342 X1 + 0.689 X2 + 0.246 X3 + 0.338 X4 with significance p values 0.019, 0.01 0.02 dan 0.001. Regression coefficients of independent variables which are positive means that independent variables has a direct effect on employee job satisfaction and vice versa. It means that the hypothesis proposed in this research as proven to be true, that is, it is assumed that supervision in career has a significant and dominant effect on employee satisfaction in PDAM Tirta Merapai Kabupaten Klaten
