Abstract

ABSTRACT                This research was conducted in September-November 2018. The aim of this research was determine the effect of substitution soybean meal with fermented water spinach leaves(Ipomoea aquatic Forsk) in diet on feed efficiency and growth of green catfish(Hemibagrus nemurus). This research used Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with one factor 5 treatments and 3replications. The treatment in this research was the use of Fermented water spinach leaves (FWSL) meal  in diet different proportions namely P1(0% FWSL), P2 (5% FWSL), P3 (10% FWSL), P4 (15% FWSL) and P5 (20% FWSL). The results showed that the best treatment was found in P4 which was produced 67% feed digestibility, 3,89% specific growth rate, 37,46% feed efficiency of  catfish.  Keywords: Artifical feed, Hemibagrus nemurus, Fermentation, soybean, water

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe research was conducted on May to July 2017. The purpose of this research was to know the best percentage of fermented feather meal in diet and effect on growth of silver pompano (Trachinotus blochii, Lac) fingerling. This study uses a completely randomized design (CRD) with one factor,five treatment and three replications. The research used fish with initial average weight of 0,9 g. Fish were reared in net cage of 1x1x1 m3with the stocking density of 20 fish/net cage. Treatments with fermented feather meal, P0 (0%), P1 (5%), P2 (10%), P3 (15%), P4 (20%). Feed protein content range between 43,94-46,33%. The result show that fermented feather meal give significant effect (P<0,05) on growth, feed efficiency and protein retentions.This result of this study suggest that fermented feather meal can be used as feed material of silver pompano up to 15% from total amount of feed.Keyword:   Bacillus sp., feather meal, fermented,fish feed, silver pompano (Trachinotus blochii, Lac)

Abstract

ABSTRACT The research was conducted for 56 days , the aim to determine to get percentage fermented leucaena leaf (Leucaena leucocephala) Meal with Trichoderma sp. in feed on feed efficiency. This study uses completely randomized design (CRD) with one factor, with 5 treatment levels and 3 repetitions. The test feed used in this study was artificial feed with a protein content of 35% with a percentage Utilization of FLLM namely 0%, 5%, 10%, 15% and  20%. Test feed given as much as 10% of the weight of biomass per day with the frequency of feeding threetimes throughout the day is at 08.00, 12.00 and 16.00. The fish used in this research with in 0,99 g of weight. Fish were reaered in 15 cage units (0,5x0,5x1 m3) with the stocking density 0f 20 fish/cage.  The results showed that the percentage of FLLM significant effect (P<0,05) on feed  efficiency, protein retention and specific growth rate but did not significantly affect the survival rate of green catfish fingerlings. Based on the results of this study concluded that Utilization of FLLM  15% give the best respons on the feed  efficiency, protein retention and specific growth rate.Kata Kunci : Fermented LeucaenaLeaf Meal, Hemibagrus nemurus, Growth, Trichoderma sp.

Abstract

The research was conducted for 60 days from April to June 2017. The aim of this research was to know the utilization of fermented leucaena leaves meal as a substitution of soybean meal in the diets on the growth and feed efficiency of Thai Catfish. Completely randomized design (CRD) was used in this experiment, with one factor, five level treatment and three replications. Fish were reared in 1 m3cages with stocking density 20/cages. Feeding trial were replacing soybean meal with fermented leucaena leaves meal applied to P1 (0%), P2 (25%), P3 (50%), P4 (75%), and P5 (100%). The fish used in this research with 2,13 ± 0,39g of weight. The result of this research showed that fermented leucaena leaves meal has significant effect (P>0,05) on growth and feed efficiency of Thai Catfish. Diets which contains 75% of fermented leucaena leaves meal and 25% of soybean meal (P4) produce the highest specific growth rate (4,11%/day), feed efficiency (62,6%), feed digestibility (59,45%), and protein retention (18,85%). Based on the result of this study conclude that fermented leucaena leaves meal can be used as substitution for soybean meal in diets of Thai Catfish.

Abstract

This research was conducted on Desember 2016 - April 2017. The purpose of this study is to determine the amount of fermented flour from Moringa leaf in the feed which affect the growth, feed efficiency, feed digestibility and protein retention in gouramy (Osphronemus gouramy). This study uses a completely randomized design (CRD) with one factor, 5 treatments and 3 replications. The treatment with substitution of fermented moringa leaf flour, Controls (0: 100%), P1 (10: 90%), P2 (15: 85%), P3 (20: 80%), P4 (25: 75%). The feed contain protein of 30%. The results showed that the best result is the highest treatment from P2 (15: 85%) with a specific growth rate of 1.58% / day, feed efficiency rate of 18.44%, 73.82% of feed digestibility and protein retention 15.82%.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research was conducted on June-July 2019. The purpose of this research was know the percentage of use of fermented rubber seed flour in freshwater lobster seeds to produce feed efficiency and growth of freshwater lobster seeds .  This study uses a completely randomized design (CRD) with one factor, the level 5 treatment and 3 replications. The treatments in this study were fermented rubber seed flour, namely P0 (0%), P1 (10%), P2 (20%), P3 (30%), P4 (40%) in feed.The results showed that the best research was P4. Use fermented formulated rubber seeds in the feed as much as 40%, produce the best freshwater lobster seed growth is 74.8% feed digestibility, digestibility of protein 91.1%, the feed efficiency of 45.88%, retention of protein 52.12%, specific growth rate of 2.32% and survival rate 96.0%.Keyword:,Fermentation, fish feedKeywords: Rubber Seed, Freshwater Lobster (Cherax quadricarinatus), Fermentation, Artificial Feed.

Abstract

Desa Pandau Jaya telah memiliki unit Pembenihan Ikan Alaskobar Farm yang bergerak di bidang pembenihan ikan lele. Unit pembenihan ikan Alaskobar menerapkan pemijahan alami ikan lele sangkuriang untuk memperoleh benih. Persoalan yang dihadapi oleh unit usaha Alaskobar Farm ini adalah kurangnya jumlah produksi benih yang dhasilkan, sehingga pendapatan dari hasil usaha budidaya masih minim. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilakukan adalah 1) Memberikan ilmu dan teknologi tentang pemijahan semi buatan dan pemijahan buatan pada unit pembenihan ikan Alaskobar Farm Desa Pandau Jaya untuk meningkatkan benih ikan lele yang dihasilkan. 2) Meningkatkan penghasilan anggota unit pembenihan ikan Alaskobar Farm dan membuka lapangan kerja 3) Terciptanya agen informasi dan keterampilan tentang pembenihan ikan lele dengan teknik pemijahan semi buatan dan pemijahan buatan di Desa Pandau Jaya sehingga dapat menyebarluaskan kepada masyarakat lain. Anggota Unit Pembenihan Ikan Alaskobar Farm memiliki antusias yang tinggi terhadap teknologi pembenihan secara buatan yang diberikan. Hal ini terlihat dari hasil evaluasi perubahan pengetahuan dimana rata-rata peserta dapat meyerap materi yang diberikan dengan predikat terbanyak sangat baik (nilai A). Hasil evaluasi keterampilan yang dilakukan terhadap Unit Pembenihan Ikan Alaskobar Farm tentang teknologi pembenihan ikan lele melalui pemijahan buatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta kegiatan telah dapat mempraktekkan langsung. Abstract

Eceng gondok  mempunyai kandungan protein serta kandungan serat kasar yang cukup tinggi sehingga perlu dilakukan pengolahan sebelum digunakan sebagai bahan pakan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan tepung daun eceng gondok terfermentasi  terhadap pertumbuhan benih ikan baung. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada September-November 2019 yang bertempat di BBI, Sei Tibun, Kabupaten Kampar, Riau. Ikan uji yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah benih ikan baung yang berukuran 5 cm dengan rata-rata bobot awal 1,26±1,17 g sebanyak 400 ekor. Benih ini diperoleh di Desa Lipat Kain Kampar, Riau. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Lengkap satu faktor dengan 5 taraf perlakuan dan 3 kali ulangan. Perlakuan adalah pemberian pakan persentase subsitusi tepung kedelai dengan tepung daun eceng gondok terfermentasi yang berbeda yaitu (100:0%), (90:10%), (80:20%), (70:30%), dan (60:40%). Wadah yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah keramba yang berukuran 1x1x1m3 sebanyak 15 unit, dengan padat tebar sebanyak 20 ekor/wadah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan tepung daun eceng gondok terfermentasi sebagai bahan pakan ikan baung mampu mengurangi penggunaan tepung kedelai, ini terlihat dari pertambahan bobot rata-rata benih ikan baung setiap periodenya. Penggunaan tepung daun eceng gondok terfermentasi dalam pakan sebanyak 30% menghasilkan pertumbuhan benih ikan baung terbaik yang menghasilkan efisiensi pakan 46,64%, retensi protein 18,73%, laju pertumbuhan spesifik 3,85% dan kelulushidupan 99-100%.

Abstract

Asian redtail catfish (Hemibagrus nemurus) are fish that have high economic value. The Aimed of this study was to know of the effect the use of fermented Pistia stratiotes flour and to know the percentage of best P. stratiotes flour fermentation on the growth of Asian redtail catfish fingerling. The method in this study is a completely randomized design (CRD) with five treatments and three replications, the treatments are P0 (100% soybean flour, 0% fermented P. stratiotes flour), P1 (TK 95%, TKAT 5%), P2 (P2 TK 90%, TKAT 10%), P3 (TK 85%, TKAT 15%), and P4 (TK 80%, TKAT 20%). The fish used were 5.00 ± 1.00 cm long and weighed 1.50 ± 0.50 g, with a stocking density of 20 fish/m3. Fish are kept for 56% with a frequency of feeding three times a day. The results showed that the substitution of fermented P. stratiotes flour was able to effect the growth of Asian redtail catfish. The dosage of fermented P. stratiotes flour as much as 15% gives the best results on the growth of Asian redtail catfish, namely the specific growth rate (SGR), feed efficiency, and survival rate of 3.93%, 46.47% and 96.7%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan selama 56 hari dari bulan Februari sampai Maret 2020, yang bertujuan untuk mendapatkan jumlah tepung daun lemna fermentasi terbaik dalam pakan untuk pertumbuhan ikan gurami (Osphronemus gouramy). Ikan gurami yang digunakan memiliki bobot rata-rata 1,74-1,76 g, ikan dipelihara dalam keramba berukuran 1x1x1 m dengan padat tebar 20 ekor/m3. Pakan yang digunakan dalam percobaan menggunakan tepung kedelai yang diganti dengan tepung daun lemna fermentasi, sebanyak 0, 10, 15, 20, dan 25% dengan kandungan protein pakan sebesar 35%. Pakan diberikan tiga kali sehari sebanyak 10% dari berat badan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen satu faktor Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan lima perlakuan dan tiga ulangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan daun lemna yang difermentasi dalam pakan mampu menggantikan tepung kedelai dan mempengaruhi laju pertumbuhan ikan gurami. Substitusi daun lemna fermentasi 20% merupakan perlakuan terbaik, menghasilkan kecernaan pakan 70,23%, kecernaan protein 81,41, efisiensi pakan 40,31%, retensi protein 31,05%, laju pertumbuhan spesifik 3,77%, dan kelangsungan hidup 98,33%. Hasil pengukuran kualitas air selama penelitian adalah suhu 29-31oC, pH 5-5,6, dan oksigen terlarut 6-8 ppm.
