Abstract

Penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan pada November 2019 sampai Januari 2020. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pemanfaatan fermentasi tepung daun pepaya dalam pakan terhadap pertumbuhanikan patin siam. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) satu faktor dengan 5 perlakuan dan 3 kali ulangan. Ikan dipelihara didalam keramba berukuran 1 m3 dengan padat tebar ikan 25 ekor/m3. Percobaan pemberian pakan dilakukan dengan menggantikan tepung kedelai dengan fermentasi tepung daun pepaya sebanyak P1(0%), P2(10%), P3(20%), P4(30%), P5(40%). Bobot ikan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu 0,66 ± 0,14g. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan fermentasi tepung daun pepaya berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap pertumbuhan ikan patin siam. Pakan yang mengandung 20% fermentasi tepung daun pepaya dan 80% tepung kedelai (P3) memberikan hasil terbaik dengan laju pertumbuhan (5,52%/hari), efisiensi pakan (51,57%), kecernaan pakan (77,06%), retensi protein (60,40%). Berdasarkan dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa fermentasi tepung daun pepaya dapat digunakan sebagai pengganti tepung kedelai didalam pakan ikan patin siam

Abstract

Eceng gondok (Eichhornia crassipes) merupakan tanaman air yang memiliki kemampuan berkembang biak dengan cepat dan memiliki nutrisi yang dibutuhkan ikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh penggunaan tepung daun eceng gondok difermentasi kombucha dalam pakan untuk pertumbuhan benih ikan mas dan dapat mengetahui dosis yang optimal. Penelitian ini  dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari - Februari 2020, persiapan bahan pakan dilakukan di Laboratorium Nutrisi Ikan Fakultas Perikanan dan Kelautan Universitas Riau. Pemeliharaan ikan dilakukan di Balai Benih Ikan Sei Tibun, Kabupaten kampar, Riau, sedangkan untuk uji proksimat pakan dilakukan di Laboratorium Analisis Hasil Pertanian, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Riau.  Ikan uji yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah benih ikan mas (Cyprinus carpio) dengan berat rata-rata 4,5±0,2g sebanyak 475 ekor. Perlakuan pada penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut P0 (Tepung eceng gondok  0%: tepung kedelai 100%), P1 (25%:75%), P2 (50%:50%), P3 (75%:25%), dan P4 (100%:0%). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa subtitusi tepung eceng gondok dan tepung kedelai memberikan pengaruh terhadap laju pertumbuhan dan kelulushidupan ikan mas (p<0,05). Hasil terbaik terdapat pada P2 (Tepung eceng gondok 50%: tepung kedelai 50%) dengan nilai kecernaan pakan (68,94%), kecernaan protein (85,01%), nilai efisiensi pakan (32,80%±2,03), retensi protein (52,45%±3,21), laju pertumbuhan spesifik (2,76 %/hari), dan Kelulushidupan 100%. Kesimpulan dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tepung eceng gondok terfermentasi sebanyak 50% mampu menggantikan tepung kedelai dalam pemeliharaan ikan mas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Desember 2016 s/d Februari 2017. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jumlah tepung daun lemna fermentasi dalam pakan yang berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan dan efisiensi pakan ikan gurami (Osphronemus gouramy). Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan satu faktor, lima taraf perlakuan dan tiga ulangan. Ikan yang digunakan berukuran bobot rata-rata 1,5 g dan panjang 4 cm. Ikan dipelihara dalam keramba berukuran 1 m3 dengan padat tebar 25 ekor/m3. Perlakuan pada penelitian ini adalah pemberian pakan dengan penggantian tepung kedelai dengan tepung daun lemna fermentasi, adapun perlakuannya adalah kontrol P0 (0:100%), P1 (10:90%), P2 (15:85%), P3 (20:80%) dan P4 (25:75%) untuk kandungan protein 30%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tepung daun lemna fermentasi berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap pertumbuhan, efisiensi pakan dan retensi protein. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa protein bungkil daun lemna yang difermentasi dapat menggantikan hingga 10% dari tepung kedelai dalam pakan untuk pertumbuhan  ikan gurami.

Abstract

This research was conducted from January - March 2020. The aimed of this research was to evaluate the effect of using fermented A. microphylla flour in the diet on feed digestibility, feed efficiency and growth of red tilapia, and the best percentage of A. microphylla flour fermentation in the diet to increase feed efficiency and growth of red tilapia. This study used a one-factor completely randomized design (CRD) with 5 treatments and 3 replications. The treatments in this study were P0 (0% FTA), P1 (25% FTA), P2 (50% FTA), P3 (75% FTA), P4 (100% FTA) in feed. Diet as much as 10% of the weight of the biomass is given three times a day, namely at 07.00, 12.00 and 17.00 WIB. The red tilapia used were 5.50 ± 0.71 cm in size with an average weight of 1.27 ± 0.08g and a stocking density of 25 fish /m3. The results showed that giving azola leaf flour fermented could increase the growth and survival of red tilapia. The use of 25% fermented A. microphylla leaf meal (P1) gave the best results for the feed digestibility value of 75.96%, 76.59% protein digestibility, 62.07% feed efficiency, 85.36% protein retention, specific growth rate 4, 31% and the cost of the test feed is Rp. 8,310.

Abstract

This research was conducted for 56 days to evaluate the utilization of Lemna sp leaf meal fermented using Aspergillus niger on growth and feed efficiency of freshwater pomfret (Colossoma macropomum). The method used in this study is the experimental method using a completely randomized design (CRD) with five treatments and three replications. The tested fish used were C. macropomum with an average weight of 2,3±0,3 g. The test feed used was artificial feed with 30% protein content with substitution percentage of soybean meal (SBM) by fermented Lemna leaf flour (FLLF) namely 0%, 25%, 50%, 75% and 100%. The fish are fed three times a day with ten percent of the total biomass at 07.00, 12.00 and 17.00. The result showed that the use of FLLF had a significantly effected (P<0,05) on growth and feed efficiency. Replacement 75% of Lemna sp fermented produces the highest specific growth rate 3,415, feed efficiency 37,40% and feed digestibility 70,24%.

Abstract

Water hyacinth (Eichhornia crassipes) can be used as fish feed and has a fairly high protein content ranging from 9.8-12.0%. This study aims to determine the effect of using fermented water hyacinth (Eichhornia crassipes) leaf flour in feed on the growth and feed efficiency of nilem fish (Osteochilus hasseltii). This research was conducted for 56 days at the fish nutrition laboratory and the Fisheries and Marine Reservoir, University of Riau. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 5 treatment levels and 3 replications. The test feed used in this study was artificial feed with the substitution of soybean flour by fermented water hyacinth leaf flour (TDEGF), with TDEGF percentages of 0%, 25%, 50%, 75% and 100%. The test feed was given 10% of the weight of the biomass per day with the frequency of feeding three times a day, namely at 08.00, 12.00, and 16.00 WIB. Nilem fish with initial weight ranging from 2,07 ± 0,06 /head and put in cages measuring 1x1x1 m3 with a stocking density of 25 fish/m3. The container used for feed digestibility parameters was an aquarium measuring 60x40x40 cm3 with a stocking density of 20 fish/m3. The feed used for feed digestibility and protein digestibility parameters was added with 0.5% Cr2O3 of the total feed. Feed is given at satiation with a frequency of 3 times a day. Fish feces were collected and dried are tested for Cr2O3 and protein content. The results showed that the best treatment is P4 (100% TDEGF) with feed digestibility 37.50%, protein digestibility 61.98%, feed efficiency 31.23%, protein retention 20.22% and specific growth rate 2.75% and Survival rate is 100%.

Abstract

Gouramy is a freshwater fish product that has a higheconomic. But its growth is very slow so that it requires affordable, economical feed and alternative raw materials that can be used optimally, one of which is a cassava leaf. The research was held from November 2020 – Januari 2021. The purpose of this study to get the amount of cassava leaf flour (M. utilisima Pohl) fermented with kombucha in feed increase feed efficiency and growth of gouramy fry. The method used was experiment of Completely Randomized Design (RAL) with one factor, five treatments and three replications. The treatment used is the using cassava leaf flour 0, 5, 10, 15, 20% in the feed. The gourami fingerlings used are 3-5 cm and weighs 1.39±0,05 g and are in a cage measuring 1x1x1m with a stocking density of 25 fish/m3. The test diet given 3 times a day is at 07.00, 12.00 and 17.00 wib. To measure the digestibility of feed, fish maintained in an aquarium measuring 30x15x20cm and given feed test contained Cr2O3 0,5%. The results of the study that the use of fermented cassava leaf flour 20%, with feed digestibility (49.5%), protein digestibility (60.28), feed efficiency (39.45%), protein retention (24.20%) specific growth rate (3.47%), and survival (96%). The results of water quality measurements during maintenance temperature ranged from 27-30°C, pH 6.5-7.0,   DO 6.3-7.0 mg/L.

Abstract

 This research aimed to determine the effect of addition probiotic isolated from Black Tiger Shrimp (Penaeus monodon Fab.) in artificial feed on feed digestibility, feed efficiency, protein retention and growth of baung (Hemibagrus nemurus). The research used a Complete Randomized Design (RAL), it was used with one factor, four treatments and three replications. The treatments are : P0 (no addition of probiotic), P1 (5 ml/kg feed), P2 (10 ml/kg feed), P3 (15 ml/kg feed). The result showed that the effects of probiotic that isolated from Black Tiger Shrimp into the artificial feed was  affected of the growth rate and feed efficiency of baung. the best treatment contained in P2 (10 ml/kg feed) that showed Feed digestibility at 64,92 %, feed efficiency at 38,12%, protein retention at 67,52%, and specific growth rate 3,40%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanankan pada pada bulan Juli – September 2020. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui presentase penggunaan tepung daun kangkung air yang difermentasi dengan kombucha dalam pakan ikan gurami untuk menghasilkan efisiensi pakan, retensi protein dan pertumbuhan benih ikan gurami. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) satu faktor dengan 5 Perlakuan dan 3 kali ulangan. Perlakuan dalam Penelitian ini adalah penggunaan tepung daun kangkung air terfermentasi (TDKAT) dalam pakan dengan presentase yang berbeda yaitu P0(0%TDKAT), P1(20%TDKAT), P2(30%TDKAT), P3(40%TDKAT), P4(50%TDKAT) dalam pakan. Pakan uji yang diberikan ke benih ikan gurami sebanyak 10% dari bobot biomassa yang diberikan 3 kali sehari yaitu pada pukul 07.00, 12.00 dan 17.00 Wib. Benih ikan gurami yang digunakan berukuran 5-6 cm/ekor dengan bobot rata-rata berkisar 1,59±1,75 g/ekor dan diletakkan dalam keramba yang berukuran 1x1x1 m dengan padat tebar 25 ekor/m3. Wadah yang digunakan untuk pengamatan parameter kecernaan adalah akuarium dengan ukuran 60x40x40 cm dengan padat tebar benih sebanyak 10 ekor/cm3. Pakan yang digunakan untuk parameter kecernaan pakan dan kecernaan protein ditambahkan dengan Cr2O3 sebanyak 0,5% dari jumlah pakan yang dibuat. Pakan diberikan secara at satiation  dengan frekuensi 3 kali sehari yaitu pada pukul 07.00, 12.00 dan 17.00 Wib. Feses yang dikumpulkan di dalam cawan petri dan disimpan di freezer kemudian dikeringkan untuk di uji kandungan nutrien dan Cr2O3.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan terbaik adalah P4. Penggunaan 50% tepung daun kangkung air terfermentasi menghasilkan kecernaan pakan 75,3%, kecernaan protein 85,2%, efisiensi pakan 41,52%, retensi protein 31,10%, laju pertumbuhan spesifik 3,52% dan biaya pakan uji Rp. 7.713. Kualitas air selama penelitian adalah suhu 28-320C, pH 6,5-7 dan DO 6,3-7 mg/L.

Abstract

This research was conducted for 56 days which aims to determine the effect of the use of fermented tofu dregs flour A. niger in feed on feed efficiency and growth of nilem fish fry. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 5 levels of treatment with 3 replications. The test feed used was artificial feed with a protein content of 30% and containing fermented tofu dregs flour (TATF) of 0, 25, 50, 75 and 100%. The test fish used were nilem fish with an average weight of 1.73 ± 0.05 g. The fish were kept in cages measuring 1x1x1 m3 as many as 15 units with a stocking density of 25 fish of water volume. The container used for observing the digestibility parameters was an aquarium measuring 60 x 40 x 40 cm with a total of 20 fish per aquarium. The feed used for observing the digestibility and protein digestibility parameters was added with 0.5% Cr2O3 of the total feed. The test feed was given 3 times a day as much as 10% of the weight of the biomass, namely at 07.00, 12.00 and 17.00 WIB. The results showed that the use of fermented tofu dregs flour had a significant effect (P<0.05) on growth and feed efficiency. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that soybean flour can be substituted 100% by fermented tofu pulp flour for nilem fish feed with tilapia feed digestibility 53.83%, protein digestibility 79.78%, feed efficiency 33.90%, protein retention 24.93 %, the specific growth rate is 3.48% and the survival rate is 100%.
