Abstract

AbstractThis research was conducted in September 2019 for 1 week in the waters of Pasar II Natal Village, Natal District, Mandailing Natal Regency, North Sumatra Province. The purpose of this study is to produce  data information about the composition of the basic lampara which is operated in the waters of the Pasar II Natal District of Natal District of Mandailing Natal. The method used in this study is a survey method, data obtained by fishing experiment using surrounding net which is operated by fishermen in the District of Natal Mandailing Natal seawaters, North Sumatra Province. The catch fishes are raised by fishermen ashore using a 30 kg basket. While the catch fish obtained during the research activities consists of red Lutjanus bitaeniatus, Doryteuthis pealeii, Rastrelliger faughni, Trichiurus lepturus, Eubleekeria splendens, Sardinella albella and Stolephorus indicus. Total catches obtained were 1876 kg with 819873 individuals. Actually, the target fish    Anchovies (Stolephorus indicus)  was caught with a total weight of 1696 kg with a percentage of 90.40% of the total weight of the catch fish. The number of anchovies obtained is 814080 or 99.29% of the total catch. The bycatch of fish obtained weighing 180 kg or as many as 5793 fishes. Keywords: Basic Attachment, Stolephorus indicus, Primary and Secondary

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to know the potential fishing ground of tuna(Thunnus sp) by mapping distribution of sea surface temperature satellite imageryof Aquarius and catched in waters of West Sumatra and then plotted estimated offishing ground in form of map. The analysis data was conducted in FishingGround Laboratory Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences University of Riau,Pekanbaru. This study using Aquarius satelite imagery data level 3, with a 4 kmspatial resolution. In this study sea surface temperature ranging from 27,040C–30,170C. Tuna was catched dominantly temperature in west season is in range27,090C–29,280C, transition season I 27,040C–30,170C, east season 28,690C–29,820C and transition season II 27,320C–29,540C. The catched with CPUEhighest value 7.5963 kg/day in August. The catches of all tuna is category viablecatch. Abstract

This study uses data that has been taken in the period from October 31stuntil 7 November 2013 Bengkalis Bodies housed in Riau Province . This Methodis the method of acoustic survey and measurement of environmental parameters at5 stations that has been set. Distribution of value TS dernersal fish are in the range-70.00 dB to 30.00 dB. The fish demersal dominate in Bengkalis waters are indepth strata 40-50 meters and in the strength of the target range -70.00 dB to -30.00 dB with the highest number of targets on the 2nd leg of the total target of 11027 targets. Variations in the distribution of the value of TS mengindeksikan thatthe fish were detected including inshore fish schooling . Bengkalis depthrelatively shallow waters led to changes in temperature and salinity distribution ofvalues in each station is not significant. Distribution of temperature and salinityvalues Bengkalis waters tend to be uniform with an average temperature of 30.16° C and an average salinity of 26.2 ppt. Keywords : Distribution, acoustic, target strength.

Abstract

For purpose to compare line fishing catches, which its were set close at FAD’s device and without FAD’s. Series fishing ctivities were carried out at fishing ground with FAD’s and without FAD’s during July 3rd -13th, 2013 in Teluk Rhu village, North Rupat district, Bengkalis regency, Indonesia. The result show that the composition and number of line fishing catches was signficatly different from T test to the weight of fish Thit = 5.37> Ttab = 1.833, this means Thit> Ttab, Ho is rejected and Hais accepted.with FAD’s and without FAD’s. The line fishing catches by FAD’s  was caugth 1.3 kg (3 individuals) snapper, 0.9 (3 individuals) groupers and 0.4 kg (1individual) puffer fish. While, the line fishing catches without FAD’s was 8 kg (5 individuals)  groupers, 3.1 kg (4 individuals) snappers, 4.6 kg (3 individuals) stingrays, 2.6 kg (3 individuals) croakers and 6 kg (3 individuals) spines.   Keywords: Fish agregating device(FAD’s), line fishing, Teluk Rhu village,

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research was conducted in January 2018 at PPI Kelurahan Nipah Panjang 1 East Tanjung Jabung Regency. The purpose of this research is to know the comparison of catching gillnet fishing equipment in the morning and night time as well as the physics, chemical and biological parameters in Nipah Panjang waters. The method used is survey method.            Data processing with t-test and analyzed descriptively. The catch during the study was 1526 kg or 3977 tails. Type of fish caught is baung laut (Macrone nemurus V) 34.50%, senangin (Polynemus tetrdactylus)34.44%, sembilang (Paraplotosusu albilabris)15.79%, lidah (Cynoglossus lingua ) 4.78%, shark (Charcharias falciformes ) 3.60%, biang (Setipinna melanochir) 1.64% and gulamah (Pseudocienna amovensis) 5.24%. The result of measurement of environmental parameters during the research is the current velocity ranged from 0.1 to 0.3 m / s, the temperature in the morning ranges from 28-30 0C, while the night ranges from 29-31 0C, the water brightness ranges between 55-60 cm, salinity range between 25 - 28 ‰, into the tidal range of 2.5-3 m while the tide ranges from 1 to 1.5 m. The result of t-test concludes the morning and night catch both by the number of fish and the weight of the caught fish is significantly different. Keyword:  Nipah Panjang 1, gillnet, catch, environmental parameters

Abstract

Productivity longline is one of the indicators in determining the potential fishing areas. The data used in this study is the catch, the area of the fishing grounds, the number of hook is used, and the temperature and salinity of the waters, the data’s is taken every fishing operation. This study aims to determine the productivity of longline, determine the relationship of productivity with the temperature and salinity of water and describe the species composition of the fish and the frequency of appearance. The method used is the case study method to follow the process of catching up with longline for 12 operations on 15 to April 28, 2015 in the waters of West Sumatra through the Port Ocean Bungus.                  The highest productivity of longline fishing gear is obtained 13,35kg / operation / GT and the lowest productivity was 5,01kg / operation / GT. Species composition catch during fishing operations that have the biggest part is yellow fin tuna with 36.2 %. A high frequency of appearance of the fish is layur fish Layur (Trichiurus Lepturus) 933, 30 % indicate that layur fish caught in each fishing operation. Oceanographic parameters of temperature and salinity has an influence on the productivity of longline fishing gear but the impact is low.       Keyword: Productivity, Longline, Tuna

Abstract

Abstract: Village of West Bagan is a village with a population of the second largest fishermen in the district of Bangko, RokanHilir, Riau Province. Fishermen of the West Bagan village, land and sell their catch in private mediators. However, the facilities available are not enough to meet the needs of fishing supplies consisting of fuel, fresh water and ice. Therefore, this research with survey method was undertaken to obtain the development strategy of the facility by using SWOT analysis. From 9 units mediator were still active, taken 3 units mediator as representatives of large, medium, and small category namely are consecutevely Jumadi mediator, Lausi mediator, dan Asmara mediator. Based on SWOT analysis has been done on each of the mediators obtained one most likely to be develop is mediator Jumadi. In the diagram strategy, mediator Jumadi located in quadrant I with the highest coordinate value, which is a provitable situation. Recommendations strategyis progressive, which means the mediator has the opportunity and the power that can take advantage of existing opportunities. The strategy applied in this condition is to support aggressive growth policy. Keywords: Strategy, Develop, Traditional Fish Landing Sites
