Abstract

The digital divide between urban and rural areas in Indonesia remains a significant challenge in the current digital era, with limited internet access in remote regions hindering economic, educational, and social progress. This research aims to develop a wireless LAN-based RT/RW Net system as a solution to enhance efficient and affordable internet access. The system utilizes point-to-point access between regions using specialized routers to overcome geographical and physical barriers, thereby enabling internet access in hard-to-reach areas. By leveraging WiFi 5 technology as a solution for better range and performance, along with ease of operation and affordable construction costs, the system is designed for efficiency. Device configuration is carried out using the built-in application of the TP-Link EAP 110 router, facilitating easier and more efficient management. The PPDIOO (Prepare, Plan, Design, Implement, Operate, Optimize) research methodology is chosen as the approach for developing the RT/RW Net network. The advantages of this method include structured and systematic design capabilities, greater flexibility in meeting design needs, and the ability to optimize the quality of the network once it is operational. This method can also analyze and build networks according to local geographical conditions. Expected outcomes include improved quality and reliability of the RT/RW Net network, provision of cheaper and more convenient internet access for communities, and contributions to a more equitable dissemination of information and communication technology across Indonesia, enabling communities to enjoy better access to information, broader educational opportunities, and enhanced economic prospects.

Abstract

User satisfaction reflects emotions when comparing services received with expectations, so understanding user satisfaction is important for app development. This research aims to evaluate user satisfaction with WordPress apps on the Google Play Store and identify areas for improvement. Sentiment analysis with KNN and Naïve bayes algorithms as the method used to extract information from 5,000 user reviews downloaded from Google Play Store,. The results showed the majority of reviews had positive sentiments, with Naïve Bayes providing better results than KNN, achieving 88% accuracy, 89.45% precision, 88% recall, and 83% F1-Score on a 90:10 data split. The word cloud of positive reviews featured words such as “great”, “good”, “helpful”, “app”, and “good”, reflecting user satisfaction with the ease and benefits of the app, while negative reviews featured words such as “difficult”, “try”, and “fail” indicating technical difficulties and user dissatisfaction. This study concludes that WordPress apps have provided a satisfactory experience for most users, but some technical areas need improvement. The results of this study will provide valuable information for app developers in efforts to improve service quality and the app's reputation

Abstract

This study aims to cluster traffic violation data recorded by CCTV in the Sidoarjo area using the K-Means Clustering algorithm. The dataset used in this study was obtained from Sidoarjo Police, covering 43,055 traffic violation records in the period January 2023 to July 2024. The CRISP-DM approach is applied to ensure a systematic research flow, starting from problem understanding, data collection, to result evaluation. After the data selection and transformation stage, the dataset was processed into 14,386 data. Clustering was performed to divide violations into three categories based on severity, namely high, medium, and low. Evaluation of cluster quality using Silhouette Score showed the best result with a value of 0.9916 at k=9, indicating optimal cluster formation. The clustering results showed that the highest violation occurred in the category of “not using a seat belt” with 8,710 cases, while the moderate violation involved “not wearing a helmet” with 5,522 cases. This study confirms the effectiveness of the K-Means algorithm in clustering traffic violation data and provides valuable insights for the Sidoarjo Police Traffic Unit in designing more efficient traffic violation reduction programs.

Abstract

The need for fast, stable, and affordable internet access is increasing along with the increasing dependence of society on information technology, especially in small business environments such as coffee shops and cafes. However, the operational costs of internet services are still a major challenge for micro-business owners. This study aims to design and implement a coin-based WiFi system that is independent, cost-effective, and easy to operate. This system integrates a coin sensor, microcontroller, and Raspberry Pi to detect coin denominations (Rp500 and Rp1000), automatically converts them into WiFi access duration, and records transactions in a local SQLite-based database. The web-based interface is built using Flask for ease of system administration and management. The research methods include literature studies, field observations, user interviews, and technical testing of sensor accuracy and network performance. Evaluations are carried out on download/upload speeds, latency, jitter, and packet loss to assess connection quality. The test results show that the system is able to detect coins with high accuracy and provide stable internet services according to the payment duration. The advantages of this system lie in its independence that does not depend on third-party applications, as well as its ability to be implemented in environments with technological and budget constraints. This system has the potential to be a viable alternative solution to expand internet access in the informal sector and drive digital transformation at the grassroots level.

Abstract

In the field of education, speed has become a vital factor in achieving objectives, including the improvement of teacher performance. Digital transformation in education has driven the adoption of various technologies, one of which is Google Classroom. In Vocational High Schools (SMK), which are oriented toward competency and job readiness, the integration of technology in learning has become an absolute necessity.This research aims to:1) Analyze the effectiveness of implementing a Learning Management System (LMS) in improving the performance of SMK teachers.2) Identify the obstacles faced by administrators and teachers in implementing Google Classroom. This study employs a Mixed Methods approach (quantitative and qualitative) with a descriptive design. Data collection was conducted using three methods: interviews, observations, and documentation (documents or texts). The results of this study found that the application of Google Classroom, when implemented optimally, can significantly improve administrative efficiency, the quality of lesson planning and execution, collaboration, and the teacher's ability to conduct assessments and evaluations. The primary challenges lie in infrastructure readiness, training, and a shift in mindset. The research concludes that Google Classroom is not merely a supporting tool but a catalyst for enhancing teacher professionalism in the digital era. It reveals that the comprehensive and optimal implementation of Google Classroom contributes significantly to improved teacher performance. Concrete benefits identified include: Increased administrative efficiency and material management. Enhanced quality of instructional planning and interaction. Easier collaboration among teachers and with students.Strengthened capabilities in diverse and data-driven assessments and evaluations. However, behind this potential, the study also identified several key challenges. These challenges are not only technical, such as infrastructure and network limitations, but also encompass human resource aspects, such as the need for continuous training and, most crucially, a change in mindset shifting from conventional methods toward a digital learning paradigm that is more collaborative and flexible.

Abstract

Mutu lulusan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) merupakan isu strategis dalam menyiapkan tenaga kerja terampil yang kompetitif di tengah disrupsi industri dan persaingan global. Total Quality Management (TQM), sebuah filosofi manajemen yang berorientasi pada kepuasan pelanggan, perbaikan berkelanjutan, dan keterlibatan seluruh pemangku kepentingan (stakeholders), menawarkan kerangka kerja sistematis untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan vokasi secara fundamental. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi TQM dalam konteks SMK, mengidentifikasi prinsip-prinsip kunci yang relevan, serta merumuskan strategi penerapannya agar selaras dengan kebutuhan pasar kerja. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi pustaka (library research) dengan pendekatan kualitatif-deskriptif untuk membedah literatur terkini, regulasi pemerintah, serta hasil penelitian terdahulu terkait manajemen mutu di sekolah vokasi. Kajian literatur menunjukkan bahwa implementasi TQM yang holistik dapat meningkatkan relevansi kurikulum melalui penyelarasan standar kompetensi, efektivitas proses belajar-mengajar, peningkatan profesionalisme pendidik, serta penguatan kepuasan pengguna lulusan, yaitu Dunia Usaha dan Dunia Industri (DUDI). Meskipun demikian, ditemukan beberapa tantangan utama dalam aplikasinya, meliputi resistensi internal terhadap perubahan, budaya organisasi yang belum berorientasi pada mutu, serta keterbatasan sumber daya pendukung. Artikel ini menyimpulkan bahwa TQM di SMK bukan sekadar program administratif jangka pendek, melainkan sebuah transformasi budaya organisasi yang berkelanjutan untuk mencapai keunggulan mutu. Sebagai rekomendasi, pengelola SMK perlu memperkuat integrasi dengan DUDI melalui mekanisme link and match yang terukur dengan siklus Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA), serta melakukan reposisi kepemimpinan dari gaya administratif menuju kepemimpinan instruksional yang visioner dan berbasis mutu demi menjamin keterserapan lulusan di dunia kerja.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak penggunaan media sosial TikTok terhadap prestasi belajar siswa Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. TikTok sebagai platform konten pendek yang sangat populer di kalangan anak-anak, menimbulkan kekhawatiran sekaligus potensi dalam dunia pendidikan. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif studi kasus dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam dengan 15 siswa kelas 4-6, orang tua, dan guru, serta analisis dokumen nilai akademik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dampak yang kompleks dan dualistis. Dampak Negatif meliputi: (1) penurunan konsentrasi belajar akibat kebiasaan menonton konten cepat dan berganti-ganti (short-form content addiction), (2) pengurangan waktu belajar efektif, (3) munculnya perilaku meniru gaya bahasa dan tren yang kurang sopan dari platform. Dampak Positif teridentifikasi ketika terdapat mediasi aktif dari guru dan orang tua, yaitu: (1) TikTok menjadi sumber inspirasi untuk proyek kreatif dan presentasi, (2) adanya konten edukatif (EduTok) tentang sains, sejarah, dan bahasa yang dapat diakses, (3) meningkatkan kepercayaan diri siswa dalam berekspresi. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa dampak TikTok pada prestasi belajar sangat bergantung pada intensitas penggunaan, jenis konten yang dikonsumsi, dan peran pengawasan serta kolaborasi aktif antara guru dan orang tua. Rekomendasi yang diajukan adalah perlunya program literasi digital spesifik untuk siswa MI, panduan penggunaan TikTok berbasis keluarga, dan integrasi konten edukatif platform tersebut ke dalam pembelajaran dengan pendekatan yang kritis.

Abstract

Transformasi kurikulum pendidikan di era digital menjadi kebutuhan mendesak untuk   menghadapi perubahan zaman yang dipengaruhi teknologi. Dimana transformasi kurikulum di era digital menuntut sekolah dasar untuk mengembangkan pembelajaran yang mampu membekali peserta didik dengan keterampilan pemikiran komputasional sejak usia dini. Salah satu strategi yang relevan adalah penerapan pembelajaran berbasis coding sebagai bagian dari integrasi teknologi dalam kurikulum. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji konsep, urgensi, dan bentuk implementasi transformasi kurikulum pembelajaran berbasis coding di sekolah dasar, serta menganalisis dampaknya terhadap perkembangan kompetensi siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi literatur sistematis terhadap dokumentasi ilmiah, kebijakan pendidikan nasional, dan praktik implementasi coding di berbagai sekolah dasar. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis coding mampu memperkuat kemampuan pemecahan masalah, berpikir logis, kreativitas, kolaborasi, dan literasi digital siswa. Transformasi ini juga mendorong perubahan pedagogi menuju pembelajaran yang aktif, konstruktif, dan berorientasi proyek. Namun, penerapan kurikulum berbasis coding di sekolah dasar masih menghadapi tantangan, termasuk rendahnya kompetensi guru dalam pemrograman, keterbatasan infrastruktur teknologi, dan ketimpangan akses antar sekolah. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan dukungan pelatihan profesional berkelanjutan, penyediaan sarana prasarana digital yang memadai, serta kebijakan yang komprehensif agar transformasi kurikulum berbasis coding dapat terlaksana secara berkelanjutan dan merata.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi rencana kegiatan berbasis data di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) sebagai upaya peningkatan efektivitas perencanaan program sekolah. Pendekatan berbasis data digunakan untuk memastikan bahwa setiap kegiatan yang direncanakan sesuai dengan kebutuhan peserta didik, kondisi satuan pendidikan, serta capaian indikator kinerja sekolah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen perencanaan sekolah. Data dianalisis melalui tahapan reduksi, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan perencanaan kegiatan berbasis data mampu meningkatkan ketepatan sasaran program sekolah, memperkuat pengambilan keputusan berbasis evidensi, serta mendorong keterlibatan aktif warga sekolah dalam proses evaluasi dan perbaikan berkelanjutan. Kendala yang dihadapi meliputi keterbatasan kompetensi tenaga pendidik dalam analisis data serta kurangnya integrasi sistem informasi sekolah. Dengan demikian, diperlukan penguatan kapasitas sumber daya manusia dan pengembangan sistem manajemen data sekolah untuk mendukung implementasi berkelanjutan.

Abstract

General Background: Information technology adoption in community facilities is increasingly necessary to support organized public services. Specific Background: The Prasung Village Hall library managed borrowing, returns, and membership records manually, leading to inefficiencies and data risks. Knowledge Gap: Limited implementation of structured web-based systems in village libraries constrains systematic data management and service delivery. Aims: This study designed and implemented a website-based library information system tailored to the operational needs of the Prasung Village library. Results: The system computerized member registration, book cataloging, borrowing–return transactions, barcode generation, reporting, and fine management, verified through black-box testing with successful functional outcomes. Novelty: The integration of flowchart, DFD, ERD, and the waterfall model produced a context-specific digital library system for village-level services. Implications: The system supports organized library administration, reduces paper-based records, and provides structured access to educational resources for the local community.
