Abstract

The national education standard index for three years at SIT Insantama in Banten Province tends to rise. However, since the COVID-19 outbreak, the index value has decreased. This study aimed to analyze the effect of organizational culture variables and retention programs on the performance of educators through the engagement of educators. The quantitative approach method is based on data sourced from questionnaires and observations are used. Data processing is assisted by SmartPLS software. The research population of 80 people is all SIT Insantama educators in Banten Province which are located in three locations, namely Serang City, Cilegon City and Rangkasbitung Regency. The results of the analysis show that organizational culture has a negative and insignificant effect on the performance of educators, the retention program has a positive but not significant effect on the performance of educators. Other findings show that retention programs and organizational culture have a positive and significant effect on the engagement of educators. The engagement of educators also has a positive and significant effect on the performance as well as the engagement of educators. These findings provide guidelines for management to improve the implementation of organizational culture and management of retention programs, in order to have a better impact on the performance of educators in addition to strengthening the engagement of educators.

Abstract

Communication is something that is required in everyday life to express thoughts or ideas to invite others to act and produce desired changes, both in terms of individuals and organizations. Within organizations, communication has an impact on organizational performance. This study aims to determine the effective communication model of OHS in PT Armada Bangun Samudra (PTABS), a shipbuilding company. Data were collected from 185 respondents who were selected randomly from a pool of 344. Data analysis used Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results reveal that communication can be effective in an organization with multiple sub-organizations/sections if it is carried out in a hierarchical manner one level above or below. This study found that the leader’s communication skills had a significant effect on work discipline. Employee work discipline has a significant effect on the company’s OHS performance. To improve OHS performance, organizational leaders' communication skills and employee participation at all levels must be improved.

Abstract

Desa Wisata Boyolayar merupakan salah satu destinasi wisata di kawasan waduk Kedung Ombo-Jawa Tengah yang terkena dampak pandemi Covid-19. Pemberlakuan Pembatasan Kegiatan Masyarakat (PPKM) telah mengakibatkan tidak adanya pengunjung ke destinasi wisata ini. Akibatnya, keadaan wahana wisata terbengkalai, pengelola tidak ada aktivitas, dan popularitas Desa Wisata Boyolayar menurun. Untuk mengembalikan popularitas desa wisata Boyolayar dan mendorong wisatawan datang kembali seiring dengan pelonggaran PPKM diperlukan promosi secara intensif melalui media yang tepat. Kegiatan PKM ini bertujuan untuk memberi pengetahuan kepada pengelola Desa Wisata Boyolayar tentang promosi pariwisata berbasis digital. Kegiatan PKM meliputi: (1) penyuluhan tentang pemasaran pariwisata berbasis digital, (2) pelatihan pembuatan akun dan pengaturan konten akun media sosial Desa Wisata Boyolayar, dan (3) pengembangan website Desa Wisata Boyolayar. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan dengan metode ceramah, diskusi, dan praktik. Untuk mengetahui efektivitas penyuluhan dilakukan pretest dan post test. Kegiatan diikuti oleh pengelola Desa Wisata Boyolayar berjumlah sepuluh orang. Kegiatan PKM telah menghasilkan: (1) peningkatan pengetahuan dan pemahaman pengelola Desa Wisata Boyolayar tentang pemasaran pariwisata dan promosi berbasis digital, (2) terbentuknya akun media sosial Facebook dan Instagram wisata Boyolayar yang informatif dan menarik, dan (3) terbangunnya website Boyolayar sebagai media informasi yang dikelola secara official oleh pengelola Desa Wisata Boyolayar.

Abstract

This research aims to develop an appropriate business strategy based on Business Model Canvas (BMC) during COVID-19. It was a strategic management research design carried out at PT. ABC. Data analysis was carried out by (1) Identification of the BMC, (2) Identification of strategic issues of internal and external factors from 9 elements of BMC, (3) Formulation of Strategy through 3 stages, namely the input stage (Internal Factor Evaluation (IFE) Matrix and External Factor Evaluation (EFE) Matrix), matching stage (Internal External (IE) Matrix and SWOT Matrix) and decision stage. The study results showed several points on the BMC elements of PT. ABC needs to be updated, so it is right on target, including (a) Customer Segments: adding students and graduate students. (b) Value Proposition: Additional income for non-alumni (employees, students, and fresh graduates) and adequate information related to occupational health and safety (c) Channels: adding Search Engine Optimization (SEO) to improve the communication system and include non-inhouse sales. (d) Customer relationships: using Telegram as social media, (e) Key Activities: marketing activities carried out by marketing staff from home. (g) Key Partnership: involving freelance marketing as main partner. Then, using Google, LLC, into a key partnership. (g) Cost Structure: includes marketing fees for freelance marketing.

Abstract

The digital era offers many opportunities as well as threats, so every organization must analyze it carefully to improve the company's performance. The purpose of this research is to know E-Word-of-Mouth relationship to Purchase Intention to be used as marketing strategy of syariah banking in Indonesia so as to increase market share of Syariah Banking in Indonesia. Method used in this research are e-word-ofmouth variable from Hennig-Thurau et al., (2004), brand image variable from Tjokroaminoto and Kunto (2014), and variable purchase intension from Samuel and Wijaya (2008). The data retrieval technique for this research was done by distributing questionnaires (Area Jabodetabek) directly to the respondents who have been collected and also via email for those who cannot directly give their opinion (gathering in one room). Data analysis method used is test of validity and reliability, descriptive statistic test, seen from mean, median value and gra- ph, from some research variable above and inferential test to test hypothesis through data processing LISREL. The results of the study of 200 respondents showed that; e-word-ofmouth affects brand image, e-word-of-mouth affects purchase intention, brand image has an effect on purchase intention, research result indicates that e-word-of-mouth, brand image has influence to purchase intention , the results of the test obtained show consistent results or in accordance with the findings and theories of some previous studies conducted by M. Jalilvand & Samiei (2012), and Zhang, R. & Tran, T. (2009).

Abstract

ABSTRAKWaduk Cirata merupakan salah satu waduk di Indonesia yang memiliki peran sangat besar bagi pembangunan ekonomi, sebagai Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Air (PLTA). Pertumbuhan Keramba Jaring Apung (KJA) dan perkembangan permukiman di sekitar waduk, serta perubahan tataruang di DAS Citarum untuk kegiatan permukiman, industri, pertanian, dan peternakan menyebabkan peningkatan sedimentasi dan penurunan kualitas air waduk, sehingga berpengaruh terhadap kinerja dan keberlajutan waduk. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat keberlanjutan waduk dengan menggunakan metode Multidimesional Scaling berdasarkan 5 dimensi yaitu ekologi dan tata ruang, ekonomi, sosial dan budaya, peraturan dan kelembagaan, dan infrastruktur dan teknologi. Hasil analisis MDS menunjukkan bahwa dimensi ekologi dan tataruang, dan peraturan dan kelembagaan kurang berlanjut dengan nilai indeks keberlanjutan masing-masing 45,76 dan 42,24. Sementara untuk dimensi ekonomi, sosial dan budaya, dan infrastruktur dan teknologi memiliki nilai indeks keberlanjutan masing-masing 63,12; 64,42 dan 68,64 yang berarti hanya masuk kategori cukup berlanjut. Atribut yang paling sensitif yang mempengaruhi indeks keberlanjutan ekologi dan tataruang adalah laju sedimentasi, jumlah KJA dan kualitas air waduk. Pada dimensi peraturan dan kelembagaan adalah lemahnya koordinasi, perijinan dan penegakan hukum. Untuk menjamin keberlanjutan kinerja Waduk Cirata perlu dilakukan pengendalian penggunaan lahan di DAS Citarum dan permukiman di sekitar waduk, pengetatan perijinan, dan penegakan hukum.ABSTRACTCirata reservoir is one of the reservoirs in Indonesia, that plays an important role for economic development as a Hydroelectric Power Plant. The development of settlement around the dam, and land use change of Citarum’s watershed for industrial activities, agriculture, and animal husbandry have increased the erosion, sedimentation and degradation water quality of reservoir. This paper will discuss the level of sustainability of the reservoir using Multidimesional Scaling (MDS) based on five dimensions: ecology and spatial, economics, social and culture, regulations and institutional, and infrastructure and technology. MDS analysis results showed that the dimension of ecological and spatial, institutional and the regulation are lack of sustainability due to the low index score of 45.76 and 42.24. While for economic, social and culture, and infrastructure and technology dimension score is 6312; 64,42 and 68,64 (only the sufficient sustainability). The most sensitive atributes that influence to sustainability index of ecological and spatial dimension are sedimentation rate, the amount of KJA, and water quality of reservoir. To ensure sustainability of cirata reservoir required to control land use change in upstream Citarum Watershed and settlement around the reservoir, tightening of licensing and law enforcement.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the extent to which the influence of individual characteristics, workload, and work environment affect employee performance. By conducting this research, it is expected to assist the company in identifying the appropriate strategies to enhance employee performance. The research results indicate a significant influence of the variables of individual characteristics, workload, work environment, and employee performance in PT XYZ company, with T-Statistic values > 1.96 and P-Values < 0.05.

Abstract

Kualitas ekosistem kota dipengaruhi oleh ketersediaan kanopi pohon dalam RTH kota karena selain fungsi estetika dan visualnya, pohon mempunyai beberapa fungsi bio-ekologis yaitu modifikasi radiasi matahari, mengurangi kebisingan, penyaring dan penjerab polutan, pencegah erosi dan pengontrol laju limpasan permukan; serta fungsi sosial ekonomi dan budaya. Walaupun demikian besarnya manfaat lahan bervegetasi, namun keberadaannya sulit dipertahankan saat dihadapkan pada konflik kepentingan alih fungsi lahan, dikarenakan  masih minimnya pemahaman masyarakat dan pihak pengelola kota dalam menterjemahkan nilai ekonomi RTH kota, serta keterbatasan alat analisis (tools) yang mampu menterjemahkan sejumlah nilai manfaat tersebut ke dalam bentuk angka-angka nominal (nilai ekonomi) yang lebih mudah dipahami oleh semua pihak. Sebuah organisasi Non Profit US Forest mempelopori pendekatan cost-benefit analysis ini dengan mengembangkan sebuah program analisis berbasis GIS untuk menghitung manfaat ekonomi hutan kota secara spasial, dengan menggunakan bantuan perangkat lunak software Arcview 3.2. ektensi CITYGreen 5.4. Aplikasi program ini dilakukan dalam serangkaian  penelitian di wilayah administratif kota Bogor. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang telah dilakukan, maka penggunaan program aplikasi CITYGreen ini dapat digunakan untuk menganalisis potensi RTH untuk 4 manfaat, yaitu: potensi penyimpanan dan penjerapan Carbon, potensi reduksi limpasan permukaan,  konservasi energi, landcover breakdown dan pemodelan pertumbuhan pohon. Hasil analisis berupa peta landcover, dan analysis report yang menyajikan: site statistic,  ecological benefits, dan economic benefit summary/nilai nominal manfaat ekosistem untuk 4 kategori tersebut, yang diharapkan dapat menjadi bahan pertimbangan penyusunan kebijakan strategis pengelolaan RTH kota. Kata kunci : CityGreen, RTH, Ekosistem kota

Abstract

Taman Tjimanoek merupakan kawasan taman terbuka berkonsep ekoriparian  yang terletak di tepian Sungai Cimanuk di Kabupaten Indramayu. Popularitas Taman Tjimanoek sebagai taman rekreasi keluarga mampu mendorong peningkatan jumlah pengunjung dari waktu ke waktu. Namun kesadaran terhadap kebersihan,  keindahan, dan rasa ikut memiliki dari para pengunjung yang masih rendah menyebabkan fasilitas yang ada di taman ini cepat rusak. Jika kondisi ini tidak diatasi maka akan mengurangi keindahan taman bahkan mengancam kelestariannya. Oleh karena itu perlu ada kesadaran masyarakat untuk ikut menjaga taman berbasis sungai yang cukup langka di Indonesia ini. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan membentuk kelompok peduli masyarakat. Kegiatan PKM ini bertujuan untuk membangun kesadaran masyarakat melalui pembentukan kelompok peduli taman (Pokliman). Proses pembentukan dilakukan melalui tiga tahapan, yaitu: tahap persiapan, tahap pembentukan, dan tahap formalisasi. Metode yang digunakan pada tahap persiapan adalah observasi dan wawancara, pada tahap pembentukan digunakan metode focus group discussion, sedangkan pada tahap formalisasi mengikuti prosedur yang ada di Pemerintah Daerah Kabupaten Indramayu. Melalui sosialisasi dan proses pendampingan yang intensif oleh Tim PKM, serta memilih pendekatan bottom-up dalam proses pembentukan kelompok, telah terbentuk Kelompok Peduli Taman Tjimanoek beserta struktur dan tujuan organisasi, serta tugas dan tanggung jawab pengurus. Kelompok Peduli Taman Tjimanoek menjadi wujud kepedulian dan rasa ikut memiliki masyarakat yang diharapkan mempunyai peranan dan kontribusi penting dalam menjaga dan merawat keindahandan kelestarian Taman Tjimanoek yang menjadi salah satu ikon Kabupaten Indramayu
