Abstract

Research has been carried out on lanslide slip area of landslide of the road in Duapitue Sidrap. This study aims to determine the slip field using geoelectricity which is suspected as the cause of slope stability/landslide disturbance in terms of resistivity values in each layer and to determine the structure and coating of subsurface soils in the Kampale sub-village, DuaPitue. Information about the structure and coating of the land is used to determine the limits of soil instability that can be used as a reference in the planning of cliff/ slope strengthening on the intended road. From the cross section of the material resistivity, it can be seen that the weak zones on the shoulder and the road body are more than 10 meters deepth. Most of the overburden is unconsolidated fill material, covered by alluvium material with a fairly large air composition with a thickness of 5-10 meters. Slip area of lanslide formed at an average depth of 12 meters between the weak zone of the embankment material layer and the water-saturated alluvium layer with relatively solid alluvium and sandstone material beneath it.

Abstract

Pembelajaran geografi sebagian besar membahas tentang fenomena alam yang mempengaruhi kehidupan manusia. Hal inilah yang membuat pembelajaran geografi tidak hanya terbatas dalam ruang kelas tetapi juga perlunya praktik kuliah lapangan. Pembelajaran tentang mangrove sangat penting untuk dikuasai, namun menguasai materi mangrove tidaklah cukup menyelamatkan mangrove dari ancaman dan kerusakan, perlu adanya tindakan-tindakan yang tepat salah satunya  dengan Penanaman Mangrove. Di beberapa daerah di Kolaka laju kerusakan mangrove cukup tinggi, sehingga kegiatan ini selain penting untuk menumbuhkan kepedulian kepada mahasiswa juga mengedukasi masyarakat akan pentingnya keberadaan mangrove. Kegiatan pengabdian ini menggunakan metode proyek dengan 5 tahapan yakni: 1) penyusunan panduan praktek kuliah lapangan, 2) penyiapan bibit, 3) penentuan lokasi penanaman, 4) penanaman mangrove dan 5) pelaporan hasil praktek. Hasil yang telah dicapai dari program kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah mahasiswa geografi bersama-sama dengan masyarakat Desa Tondowolio secara bergotong royong berhasil menanam 1000 bibit mangrove dan merasa antusias dalam menanam mangrove. Pencapaian ini merupakan hal yang paling penting dan menjadi prioritas untuk mendukung program-program yang dicanangkan oleh Universitas Sembilanbelas November Kolaka dan Pemerintah Daerah Kabupaten Kolaka.

Abstract

Pengetahuan masyarakat nelayan tentang fungsi fisik, ekologis, dan sosial ekonomi ekosistem terumbu karang masih relatif terbatas. Selain itu, masyarakat  pesisir  juga memiliki keterbatasan  pengetahuan  dan  keterampilan  dalam  hal  restorasi habitat karang yang telah mengalami degradasi akibat illegal fishing, perubahan lingkungan, dan tekanan penangkapan. Oleh sebab itu, pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan nelayan dalam penerapan teknologi transplantasi karang dan atraktor cumi-cumi. Metode program pengabdian ini dilakukan melalui kegiatan penyuluhan dan pelatihan penerapan teknologi, sehingga dapat meningkatkan pendapatan dan kesadaran terhadap sumber daya berkelanjutan bagi masyarakat pesisir Desa Liku. Pemahaman  dan  kesadaran  masyarakat  akan  arti  penting ekosistem  terumbu karang  menjadi  meningkat setelah  mengikuti  penyuluhan  dan  pelatihan.  Selain itu, masyarakat dapat secara praktis menerapkan teknologi atraktor cumi-cumi yang bermanfaat dalam meningkatkan stok sumber daya dan hasil tangkapan cumi-cumi bagi kelompok nelayan Desa Liku, Kecamatan Samaturu Kabupaten Kolaka.

Abstract

Kolaka Regency is an area with topographic conditions dominated by hills and steep slopes and has high rainfall intensity. Latambaga is one of the districts in Kolaka Regency which is prone to landslides. Therefore, this research aims to spatially analyze areas prone to landslides in Latambaga District, Kolaka Regency. This type of research is descriptive quantitative using data on slope slope, land use, rainfall and soil type. These data were analyzed using weighting and scoring. The research results of landslide hazard maps were created using GIS with the ArcGIS 10.3 software application through an overlay stage process. Based on the research results, it shows that the area is not prone to landslides covering an area of 2,519.83 Ha or 8.95%, the area is slightly prone to landslides covering an area of 12,775.49 Ha or 45.38%, the area is quite prone to landslides covering an area of 4,621.18 Ha or 16.41%, landslide prone areas are 3,874.94 Ha or 13.76% and very prone areas are 4,246.24 Ha or 15.08%.

Abstract

Land carrying capacity is an important thing that must be considered in regional development planning so that it is able to support sustainable land use activities. The increasing growth of new residential in Tanggetada District will trigger an increase in the need for land. This will indirectly reduce the area of productive land such as agricultural land to be converted into residential land. The aim of this research is to analyze the carrying capacity of residential land in the new campus area of Universitas Sembilanbelas November Kolaka, Tanggetada District, Kolaka Regency. The method used in this research is the quantitative descriptive method. Data analysis uses the Permenlh formula and Geometric formula. The results of this research show that the carrying capacity of settlements in Tanggetada District in 2021 is 134.9. These results indicate that the land in the new USN Kolaka campus area is still very capable of supporting settlements. The predicted carrying capacity of surface land in the USN Kolaka New Campus Area in Tanggetada District in 2030 is 68 and in 2040 it is 29 which indicates that the USN Kolaka new campus area is able to support residents to settle (build houses) in the area in 2030 and 2040 The predicted population in 2030 is 23,949 people and the predicted population in 2041 is 55,306 people.

Abstract

Desa Holimombo memiliki berbagai potensi sumberdaya alam. Potensi sumber daya alam yang dimiliki oleh Desa Holimombo yaitu potensi kelautan, geologi, serta hidrologi pariwisata. Salah satu permasalahan di Desa Holimombo yaitu tidak adanya sumber air permukaan. Sumber air yang dimanfaatkan masyarakat selama ini merupakan air yang keluar dari celah batu, tetapi mengalami percampuran dengan air laut (intrusi air laut) sehingga rasa air yang digunakan menjadi asin. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) ini adalah untuk memberdayakan masyarakat dalam pengelolaan air tanah sebagai sumber air bersih. PKM ini dilakukan di Desa Holimombo Kecamatan Wabula Kabupaten Buton pada tanggal 6 Oktober - 2 November 2023. Metode yang digunakan yakni sosialisasi, pengeboran air tanah, dan pelatihan pengukuran kualitas air. Pemberdayaan masyarakat dalam pemanfaatan air tanah sebagai sumber air bersih berkontrubusi besar terhadap pembangunan daerah. Keberadaan air tanah hasil pengeboran di Desa Holimombo dapat menjadikan daerah tersebut mandiri akan sumber air bersih. Air yang selama ini digunakan dengan kondisi yang tidak layak minum sesuai dengan standar Peraturan Menteri Kesehatan Republik Indonesia Nomor 492 Tahun 2010 bisa ditinggalkan dengan adanya sumber air baru.

Abstract

Bullying is the act of using power to harm a person or group of people both verbally and psychologically, so that the victim feels depressed, traumatized and helpless. There are several impacts of bullying that need to be aware of because they can affect the mental health of both victims and perpetrators, such as triggering emotional disorders, mental problems, sleep disorders, decreased achievement, and so on. The purpose of this study is to increase students' awareness and understanding of the importance of respecting each other and the negative impact of bullying behavior. In this research, the methods used are literature studies and case studies. The results obtained were an increase in students' understanding of the definition and forms of bullying, including physical, verbal, and social bullying. Before the socialization, most students thought that bullying was only limited to physical violence, but after the socialization, they began to realize that actions such as mocking, excluding, and spreading rumors were also included in bullying behavior. Based on the results of the above research, it can be concluded that education on bullying prevention has not only succeeded in increasing student awareness, but also encouraging active participation from all elements of the school in creating a safer and more positive environment.

Abstract

Wave height information is very much needed by the people of South Buton, especially those who always use sea transportation, therefore this study aims to analyze the sea wave height in the waters of South Buton, using a quantitative descriptive method. The data collection technique is in the form of documentation. The data analysis technique used is a descriptive statistical analysis technique. Wave height information is very much needed by the community, especially in the shipping sector and fishermen in the waters of South Buton. The results of this study show that the wave height in South Buton varies greatly from January to December from 2019, 2020, and 2021. The months with great potential for high waves are January, February, April, and June with an average wave height of 1-3 meters with a wind speed of 4-15 knots. The lowest and moderate waves occur in March, May, July, August, September, October, November, and December. In these months, the average wave height reaches 0-2.5 meters with a wind speed of 6-15 knots.

Abstract

Abstrak: Between April and May of 2024, this study was carried out at SMA Negeri 2 Gu. Finding out how the usage of animated video learning materials affects class X geography students' learning results is the aim of this study. A one-grub-post-experiment pre-experiment design was used to conduct the study. where 32 pupils in a single class make up the sample. The pretest and posttest, which both consisted of essay-style questions, provided the research data. There are two sections to the data analysis that was done. Using the t-test formula, the first phase of the data analysis is descriptive statistical analysis, followed by inferential statistical analysis.Descriptive statistics of the research from two samples, on the pretest and postest data, were presented in the first study's results. In the second trial, the average pretest score was 58.90, and the average posttest score was 85.93. It can be inferred that Ha was accepted and Ho was not rejected because the substantial difference between the pretest and posstest results was demonstrated by the significant result value of 0.00 ≤ 0.05. Consequently, it can be said that the utilization of animated video content affects the geography learning outcomes of class X students at SMA Negeri 2 Gu.

Abstract

Abstract: Penelitian ini dilakukan akibat menumpuknya sampah di daerah Tempat Pembuangan Akhir (TPA) Patioso Kabupaten Kolaka. Meningkatnya jumlah penduduk mengakibatkan pencemaran air tanah dan air permukaan cenderung meningkat, terutama yang diakibatkan oleh penumpukan sampah tersebut sehingga dapat mengganggu kesehatan masyarakat pada umumnya. Urgensi penelitian ini dilakukan sebagai upaya mitigasi dalam bentuk pemetaan pola sebaran limbah cair yang diakibatkan oleh keberadaan Tempat Pembuangan Akhir (TPA) Patioso Kabupaten Kolaka, sehingga masyarakat bisa menghindari titik-titik potensial tercemarnya air tanah sebelum dilakukan pembangunan rumah tinggal. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pola sebaran limbah cair di Kelurahan Induha Kecamatan Latambaga Kabupaten Kolaka. Metode geolistrik memegang peranan penting dalam upaya mengetahui pola sebaran limbah cair di TPA Patioso. Metode resistivitas yang digunakan pada penelitian ini berkonfigurasi Wenner dan Wenner-schlumberger. Hasil pengukuran di inversi menggunakan software Res2DinV, untuk selanjutnya dianalisis. Lintasan pengukuran menggunakan spasi 7 meter dengan kedalaman pembacaan data 17,4 m. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa di beberapa tempat didaerah penelitian sudah tercemar limbah cair dengan nilai resistivitas 0-20 Ωm. Hasil pengukuran menunjukkan nilai resistivitas 0-2344302 Ωm yang tersusun atas batuan alluvium dan lempung, sekis , gneiss dan kuarsit. Sebaran limbah cair yang mengkantaminasi air tanah tersebar dibeberapa tempat di RW 1 Lamolotipo RT 2 Patioso, Kelurahan Induha, Kecamatan Latambaga, Kabupaten Kolaka, Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara.
