Abstract

Ketidakstabilan penerimaan calon peserta didik baru di SMA Negeri 2 Kolaka terjadi mulai tahun 2021-2023. Menurunnya jumlah siswa di SMA Negeri 2 Kolaka disebabkan oleh faktor-faktor. Oleh sebab itu, tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi rendahnya minat pendaftar calonpeserta didik baru di SMA Negeri 2 Kolaka ditinjau dari aspek geografi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan faktor hasil data observasi menunjukkan faktor aksesibilitas dengan persentase 53.3% kategori mempengaruhi, faktor visibilitas dengan persentase 60% kategori mempengaruhi, faktor lalu lintas dengan persentase 40% kategori cukup mempengaruhi, faktor pemukiman dengan persentase 80% kategori sangat mempengaruhi dan faktor jarak dengan sekolah lain dengan persentase 56.7% kategori mempengaruhi. Sedangkan untuk hasil data kuisioner faktor aksesibilitas dengan rata-rata 64.9% kategori tinggi, faktor visibilitas dengan rata-rata 61.1% kategori tinggi, faktor lalu lintas dengan rata-rata 61.4% kategori tinggi, faktor pemukiman dengan rata-rata 63.1% kategori tinggi dan faktor jarak dengan sekolah lain dengan rata-rata 59.3% kategori tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data yang telah dilakukan, terdapat faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan rendahnya minat calon peseta didik baru SMP/MTS di Kabupaten Kolaka untuk melanjutkan studi ke SMA Negeri 2 Kolaka yaitu faktor aksesibilitas, visibilitas, lalu lintas, pemukiman dan jarak dengan sekolah lain. . Abstract

This study aims to analyze the critical thinking skills of high school students in geography subjects in Mawasangka District. The type of research used in this study is descriptive research. The approach to this study is qualitative with a qualitative research method while the form of this research is qualitative descriptive. The instruments used were observation sheets and interview guidelines. The data analysis used is a qualitative data analysis technique according to Miles and Huberman. The subjects of this study are teachers and students of State High Schools in Mawasangka  district who are accredited A and B. Sampling techniques use random probability sampling. Data collection techniques with interviews, observations and documentation. Based on the results of the study, it can be seen that students' critical thinking skills from the five indicators that have been determined, namely analytical skills, synthesis skills, problem-solving skills, inference skills and evaluation skills in general, it can be concluded that students' critical thinking skills are quite good. This is evidenced by the indicators of problem-solving skills that students have are relatively less than other indicators. Meanwhile, students' skills that are classified as good are indicators of evaluating.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilator belakangi  pentingnya bagi guru untuk memiliki kompetensi pedagogik, terutama guru geografi, karena kompotensi pedagogik adalah kemampuan yang berkaitan dengan pemahaman peserta didik dan tuntutan terhadap guru sebagai profesional. Kemampuan guru untuk mengelola pembelajaran yang mencakup memahami peserta didik, merancang dan melaksanakan pembelajaran, menilai hasil belajar, dan membantu peserta didik mencapai potensi mereka sendiri dikenal sebagai kompetensi pedagogik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan kapasitas pedagogis guru geografi di SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Kolaka Timur. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dan melibatkan 10 guru geografi di SMA Negeri Kabupaten Kolaka Timur. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi pedagogis guru geografi secara keseluruhan tergolong dalam kategori "Baik" dengan presentasi deskriptif 85%.

Abstract

The familiarity of social life between the Bugis and Tolaki communities in Samaturu District, Kolaka Regency covers various sectors of life, so that it affects the way of communication of the indigenous people, especially the Tolaki people, it causes a process of cultural acculturation in the form of the language used in the Tolaki people, therefore this needs to be visualized spatially and identify the factors that cause it. This study aims to provide a spatial visualization of Bugis language acculturation to the Tolaki community and the factors that cause the Tolaki community to be able to use Bugis language in communicating with Bugis community groups in Samaturu Sub-district, Kolaka Regency. The respondents of the study amounted to 339 Tolaki people spread across 14 villages in Samaturu District, Kolaka Regency. Data was collected using questionnaires and analyzed in a quantitative descriptive manner. The results of the study concluded that there are 10 villages where the Tolaki people are fluent in Bugis language and there are 4 villages where the Tolaki people are not fluent but still know the meaning of the Bugis language. In addition, there are three main factors that cause the Tolaki community group to be fluent in using the Bugis language, the three factors are social interaction/social contact, living environment, and marriage. Even so. The fluency of the Tolaki Tribe community in Samaturu District, Kolaka Regency in using the Bugis language does ot necessarily eliminate its own regional languange, this shows that the acculturation process does not touch all cultural elements but only element regional languages that are learnend and used in communication

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi bidang gelincir tanah longsor pada ruas jalan Kolaka-Kolaka Timur berdasarkan nilai resistivitas batuan di bawah perrmukaan. Metode yang digunakan adalah geolistrik tahanan jenis dengan menggunakan konfigurasi Wenner yaitu dengan cara menginjeksikan arus listrik ke dalam bumi, sehingga diperoleh nilai arus dan beda potensial untuk selanjutnya diolah menggunakan software RES2DINV. Hasil pengolahan software RES2DINV berupa penampang resistivitas 2D, kemudian lapisan bawah permukaan diinterpretasikan berdasarkan nilai resistivitas batuan. Hasil interpretasi menunjukkan bahwa lapisan atas penyusun tanah di lokasi penelitian adalah alluvium pasiran hasil pelapukan sekis dan batuan metamorf yaitu sekis, kuarsit dan genes. Nilai resistivitas alluvium pasiran berkisar antara 10 – 30 Ωm, lapisan batuan sekis berkisar 20 - 250 Ωm dan lapisan batuan Genes berkisar 250 - 650 Ωm. Lapisan genes diidentifikasi sebagai bidang gelincir tanah longsor pada Lokasi penelitian. Setiap lintasan memiliki kedalaman bidang gelincir berbeda-beda. Kedalaman bidang gelincir pada lintasan 1 yaitu 13 meter, lintasan 2 yaitu 15 meter, lintasan 3 yaitu 14 meter, lintasan 4 dan lintasan 5 yaitu 17 meter. Abstract

The Kolaka-Kolaka Timur road section serves as a vital connection among several districts in Southeast Sulawesi. This region is particularly susceptible to landslides during the rainy season, resulting in the road being obstructed by landslide debris. The objective of this research is to assess the thickness of the weathered layer, a critical factor contributing to landslides, as part of efforts aimed at mitigating such events. The research employs the resistivity geoelectric method utilizing a Wenner configuration with five passes. The electrode spacing is set at 7 meters, covering a total track length of 105 meters. Analysis of the measurement results indicates that the weathered layer across each track comprises alluvial deposits originating from the weathering of Sekis rocks, characterized by a resistivity of less than 20 Ωm. The thickness of the weathered layer varies across the tracks: Track 1 exhibits a thickness ranging from 4 to 12 meters, Track 2 ranges from 1 to 10 meters, Track 4 varies from 0 to 8 meters, and Track 5 shows a thickness between 0 and 10 meters.

Abstract

Kolaka Regency is an area with topographic conditions dominated by hills and steep slopes and has high rainfall intensity. Latambaga is one of the districts in Kolaka Regency which is prone to landslides. Therefore, this research aims to spatially analyze areas prone to landslides in Latambaga District, Kolaka Regency. This type of research is descriptive quantitative using data on slope slope, land use, rainfall and soil type. These data were analyzed using weighting and scoring. The research results of landslide hazard maps were created using GIS with the ArcGIS 10.3 software application through an overlay stage process. Based on the research results, it shows that the area is not prone to landslides covering an area of 2,519.83 Ha or 8.95%, the area is slightly prone to landslides covering an area of 12,775.49 Ha or 45.38%, the area is quite prone to landslides covering an area of 4,621.18 Ha or 16.41%, landslide prone areas are 3,874.94 Ha or 13.76% and very prone areas are 4,246.24 Ha or 15.08%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pertumbuhan penduduk dan meningkatnya pembangunan wilayah akibat keberadaan tambang nikel di Desa Mandiodo Kecamatan Molawe Kabupaten Konawe. Bertambahnya luas lahan permukiman adalah konsekuensi dari peningkatan jumlah penduduk. Penambahan lahan permukiman tidak sebanding dengan ketersediaan air bersih yang ada. Kondisi ini menyebabkan masyarakat memanfaatkan air tanah sebagai sumber air bersih. Daerah Konawe Utara khususnya wilayah Kecamatan Molawe adalah lokasi tambang nikel memiliki air permukaan yang cenderung tercemari oleh aktifitas tambang, maka air tanah dapat dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat. Oleh sebab itu, metode geolistrik memegang peranan penting dalam upaya mengetahui potensi air tanah di suatu wilayah. Metode resistivitas yang digunakan pada penelitian ini berkonfigurasi Wenner. Selanjutnya, hasil inversi software Res2DinV digunakan untuk menganalisis data hasil penelitian. Lintasan pengukuran menggunakan spasi 10 meter dengan kedalaman pembacaan data 35 m. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa batuan yang berbeda memiliki nilai resistivitas yang berbeda. Nilai resistivitas hasil pengukuran dimulai dari 0,23–36948 Ωm. Nilai resistivitas yang mengandung air tanah berkisar antara 0,23 hingga 100 Ωm dan di beberapa tempat terindikasi sebagai sumber air asin/payau. Litologi penyusun akuifer di daerah penelitian berupa lapisan aluvium. Lapisan ini terdiri dari pasir dan kerikil. Potensi air tanah ditemukan pada kedalaman bervariasi mulai dari 5-35 meter

Abstract

Wave height information is very much needed by the people of South Buton, especially those who always use sea transportation, therefore this study aims to analyze the sea wave height in the waters of South Buton, using a quantitative descriptive method. The data collection technique is in the form of documentation. The data analysis technique used is a descriptive statistical analysis technique. Wave height information is very much needed by the community, especially in the shipping sector and fishermen in the waters of South Buton. The results of this study show that the wave height in South Buton varies greatly from January to December from 2019, 2020, and 2021. The months with great potential for high waves are January, February, April, and June with an average wave height of 1-3 meters with a wind speed of 4-15 knots. The lowest and moderate waves occur in March, May, July, August, September, October, November, and December. In these months, the average wave height reaches 0-2.5 meters with a wind speed of 6-15 knots.

Abstract

Abstrak: Between April and May of 2024, this study was carried out at SMA Negeri 2 Gu. Finding out how the usage of animated video learning materials affects class X geography students' learning results is the aim of this study. A one-grub-post-experiment pre-experiment design was used to conduct the study. where 32 pupils in a single class make up the sample. The pretest and posttest, which both consisted of essay-style questions, provided the research data. There are two sections to the data analysis that was done. Using the t-test formula, the first phase of the data analysis is descriptive statistical analysis, followed by inferential statistical analysis.Descriptive statistics of the research from two samples, on the pretest and postest data, were presented in the first study's results. In the second trial, the average pretest score was 58.90, and the average posttest score was 85.93. It can be inferred that Ha was accepted and Ho was not rejected because the substantial difference between the pretest and posstest results was demonstrated by the significant result value of 0.00 ≤ 0.05. Consequently, it can be said that the utilization of animated video content affects the geography learning outcomes of class X students at SMA Negeri 2 Gu.
