Abstract

Effective leadership style can build work discipline and productive employee performance, while ineffective leadership causes a decline in work discipline and employee performance. The method applied in this study is a literature review of 10 relevant scientific articles from 2015 to 2025. The findings of the analysis show that work discipline consistently has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. On the other hand, the impact of leadership style tends to vary; some studies show a significant effect, while others do not. However, simultaneously, the combination of leadership style and work discipline can increase employee motivation, sense of responsibility, and productivity. This study concludes that managing appropriate leadership style and improving work discipline are important strategies to optimize employee performance in an organization.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the high competition and complexity whitin organizations, underscoring the vital role of leadership in fostering a productive work environment, as well as the significance of job satisfaction and organizational commitment in supporting overall success. The objective of this research is to examine the influence leadership on both job satisfaction and organizational commitment trough a relevant literature review. The method employe dis a deskriptive qualitative literature review. Literture was acquired via Google Scholar from 2015 until 2025 using relevant keyword, the analyzed thematically. The findings indicate that leadership significantly and positively influences both the enhancement of job satisfaction and the formation of organizational commitment. Effective leadership, such as the ability to provide solutions, recognition, supervision, and involve employees in decision-making, demonstrably increases employee satisfaction and loyalty. Overall, strong leadership is a crucial prerequisite for cultivating job satisfaction and building solid organizational commitment, serving as a foundation for achieving organizational objectives. This study contributes to understanding the relationship among these three variables, given the limited research simultaneously examining leadership, job satisfaction, and organizational commitmen whitin a single literature review.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of leadership on employee work motivation within an organization. The method used is a literature review, analyzing various relevant scientific articles published within the last five years. These articles were selected based on their relevance to the topics of leadership and work motivation. The results of the study indicate that leadership has a significant impact on employee motivation, both directly and indirectly. The findings highlight that the role of a leader is crucial in shaping a supportive and collaborative work environment. This research is expected to serve as a reference for organizational leaders in developing leadership strategies that maximize employee potential and to provide a foundation for future research in various organizational contexts

Abstract

Keterwakilan perempuan dalam politik sudah dijamin dalam Undang-Undang. Sesuai dengan Undang-Undang Nomor 7 Tahun 2017 tentang Pemilihan Umum menyebutkan bahwa bakal calon anggota DPRD kabupaten/kota yang ditetapkan oleh pengurus partai politik peserta pemilihan umum tingkat kabupaten/kota memuat keterwakilan perempuan paling sedikit 30%. Dalam penelitian ini yang menjadi fokus permasalahan adalah bagaimana strategi calon anggota legislatif perempuan dalam memenangkan pemilihan anggota DPRD di Kabupaten Bantul dan apa saja hambatan yang dihadapi calon legislatif perempuan dalam pemilihan anggota DPRD di Kabupaten Bantul maupun upaya dalam mengatasi hambatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Sumber data penelitian meliputi observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan metadata. Uji validitas data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi pemenangan caleg perempuan terpilih dari partai demokrat di dapil 1 dalam pemilihan anggota DPRD di Kabupaten Bantul menggunakan strategi politik menurut Peter Schorder. Strategi offensif yang  pertama, Membentuk Tim Pemenangan dan Menarik Kader yang dikenal Masyarakat. Kedua, Sosialisasi dengan cara pendekatan terhadap masyarakat. Ketiga, mengusung program yang realistis. Strategi deffensif yang pertama, meyakinkan masyarakat dengan pendekatan yang intens. Kedua, memanfaatkan komunitas Sahabat Yuliana. Faktor-faktor yang menghambat pemenangan calon anggota legislatif perempuan dalam pemilihan anggota DPRD Kabupaten Bantul adalah faktor terbatas nya sumber daya, jaringan dan fasilitas yang ada serta adanya fitnah. Upaya dalam mengatasi hambatan yang dilakukan kandidat perempuan pertama, menekankan kepada tim pemenangan untuk komitmen dan kompak. Kedua, melakukan hal yang bermanfaat untuk kepentingan masyarakat.

Abstract

Objective: The objective of this study is to establish how female leadership and access to finance influence performance in Sharia-compliant SMEs.Methods: A cross-sectional survey design was employed. The data gathered were tested to examine the direct impact of leadership competency, gender, strategic orientation, and innovation capacity on performance and access to finance with a mediator in multiple regression analysis and mediation analysis t-test.Results: These results support the strategic orientation, innovation capability, and leadership competence as significant positive predictors of SME performance. In addition, when female leadership is considered, a weak but significant positive influence is confirmed. Access to finance was importantly both a direct determinant as well as an important mediator, through which the impact of all explanatory variables influences performance.Novelty: This study makes a novel contribution by combining female leadership in a strategic capability framework and empirically examining access to finance as the key mediating role in an ethical business context. It also fills an important void in terms of the interaction between gender, internal resources, and financial constraints.Research Implication: There is a validated framework for entrepreneurs to draw upon leadership and strategic resources. It provides evidence-based knowledge to policymakers and financial intermediaries to create enabling ecosystems that facilitate capital access, in particular for women-owned and ethically driven SMEs, contributing to inclusive and sustainable economic growth.

Abstract

This article discusses about Local government's public relations strategy in socializing the new tourism development of Jatigede Dam in Sumedang Regency. The method used in research is qualitative methods. Data collecting techniques through observation, in-depth interviews and documentation collection. Research informants were determined purposively from elements of local government, community groups, tourism business actors, and tourists. The results of the study concluded that the local government public relations strategy in developing tourism in the Jatigede Dam was carried out through several types of strategies. The programs have been implemented well but still need to be improved again to increase the number of tourists.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze recruitment management in an effort to improve the quality of educators at SMPIT Lampu Iman Karawang. This study uses a qualitative method. Methods of data collection are done through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data collection, data reduction, data presentation and verification. This research resulted in the following conclusions: 1) The quality of Educators at SMPIT Lampu Iman Karawang is relatively good; 2) Recruitment management which is carried out through the process of preparing recruitment, distributing vacancy announcements through brochures on social media, receiving new applications and selecting applicants from administrative requirements, written tests, microteaching tests and interviews; 3) Factors hindering recruitment are the difficulties in getting educators who are in accordance with the academic fields needed by schools. From the results of the study it can be concluded that with planned, measurable and objective recruitment management can improve the quality of educators.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Human Relations for Madrasah Principals in Improving Teacher Performance at Madrasah Aliyah Nurul Huda, and present the obstacles encountered in implementing Human Relations for Principals in Improving Teacher Performance at Madrasah Aliyah Nurul Huda. The type of research uses a descriptive analysis research method, namely, a research method that describes an ongoing situation based on the actual and factual data and information obtained. The data collection techniques used are: literature study, field study, through observation, and interviews. The results of this study indicate that Human Relations in improving teacher performance refers to several points, namely (1) good communication. (2) a comfortable work environment, and (3) there is a reward from the principal. Thus, it can be seen that the obstacles to the implementation of Human Relations in improving teacher performance are, (1) differences in perceptions in receiving messages and (2) the inability of subordinates to initiate communication with the principal.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gaya kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu (SDIT) Cahaya Sunnah Cileungsi Kabupaten Bogor dalam upaya peningkatan kinerja guru. Teknik Pengambilan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Informan dipilih secara purposive sampling sesuai dengan pertimbangan dan kepentingan data/informasi yang diperlukan. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa, pertama, gaya kepemimpinan yang dijalankan oleh kepala SDIT Cahaya Sunnah Cileungsi cenderung pada kepemimpinan transformasional. Hal ini terlihat pada indikator-indikator gaya kepemimpinan transformasional yang terdapat pada gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah. Kedua, kinerja guru dalam kaitannya dengan perencanaan proses belajar mengajar masih rendah. Ketiga, langkah-langkah yang dilakukan kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru di antaranya adalah dengan melibatkan warga sekolah dalam penyusunan visi, misi, dan program sekolah, mengadakan pelatihan-pelatihan yang dilakukan secara berkala, pendekatan personal, pembinaan, pemberian bonus, reward, dan punishment.

Abstract

This article discusses the expansion of the centralization-decentralization dichotomy in the midst of the turbulence of the responsiveness of the Indonesian government by offering an alternative lens of concurrency. Simultaneously centralization and decentralization can be used to respond effectively to crisis events that overlap with administrative jurisdictions and require strong coordination. A qualitative case analysis of the Government of Indonesia’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, this research finds that concurrency has increased national-subnational tensions which compromised the effective response in the early period of the COVID-19 crisis. This tension is caused by the long-term delay on the part of the central government in the COVID-19 period. This research concludes that concurrency can be effective, but requires a clear division of competencies and consistent implementation from the Government of Indonesia.
