Abstract

Introduction: Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, nearly all non-critical sectors require their workers to work remotely, including lecturers. All teaching and learning activities are carried out online. During this period, the problem of psychosocial disorders is of particular concern. Therefore, a study is deemed necessary to analyze what factors contribute to job stress in lecturers working from home during the pandemic. Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted with a total 0f 111 respondents. This study was conducted through an online survey. The population of this study was lecturers. All data were collected in 2021. Variables in this study were sex, age, working time per day, break time per day, sleep time per day, workout time per week, circadian rhythm, insomnia and work stress. Results: The results of this study indicate that there is no relationship between sex and job stress also a very weak relationship strength between age, sleep time per day, workout time per week, circadian rhythm, insomnia and job stress. Furthermore, there is a strong, unidirectional relationship between working time and job stress level and a weak relationship between break time per day and job stress level. Conclusion: The conclusion is that all variables except sex have a relationship with job stress but with varying degrees. Further research on this study in different population and different methods is suggested.

Abstract

ABSTRACTBackground: Breast milk (ASI) is a liquid created specifically that comes directly from the breast of a mother for babies and is the best food for babies especially aged 0-6 months. Factors that influence exclusive breastfeeding to mothers include maternal sociodemographic factors, pre/post natal factors, and psychosocial factors. Bojonegoro Regency is one of the regions in Indonesia that has quite good exclusive breastfeeding coverage in 2018 to reach 87%. However, there are still a number of sub-districts and public health service in Bojonegoro that have not been able to reach the target of breastfeeding coverage by the Ministry of Health in 2015, one of them is Leran Village, Kalitidu District, Bojonegoro Regency.Objective: This study determined the relation between characteristics of breastfeeding mothers consisting of age, education, occupation, and parity with exclusive breastfeeding in Leran Village, Kalitidu District, Bojonegoro Regency.Methods: The method is observational type and analytic descriptive which uses cross sectional approach. Variables studies had a relationship with exclusive breastfeeding if p < 0,05.Result: As many as 56% of mothers do not give exclusive breastfeeding. Most of the mothers who do not provide exclusive breastfeeding have low education (78,6%), aged 36-45 years (57,1%), are housewives (64,3%), and multiparous (50%). Statistical analysis showed no relation to the variables age (p=0,099), occupation (p=0,165), parity (p=0,208) with exclusive breastfeeding. While the education (p=0,003) have a relation with exclusive breastfeeding.Conclusion: The conclusion of this study is that there is no relation between age, occupation, and parity of mothers with exclusive breastfeeding. However, there is a relation between mother's education and exclusive breastfeedingKeywords: exclusive breastfeeding, mother's age, mother's education, mother's occupation, parity

Abstract

Introduction : Study in a Semarang factory showed 91% workers experience work fatigue and stress, which then increase the probability of work accidents. Work stress created by various factors and influence physical and psychological imbalances, which affect the emotions, thought processes, and conditions of a person being abused. Aims : This study aimed to examine the relationship between work stress and mental workload, work fatigue, and nutrient adequacy levels. Method : We used cross-sectional data of 120 female workers at “X” wood factory located in Lumajang, East Java, Indonesia. Assessment of mental workload, work fatigue, nutrient adequacy levels (energy, protein, and vitamin C), and work stress sequentially using NASA TLX (National Aeronautics and Space Administration Task Load Index) questionnaire, Questionnaire from the Industrial Fatigue Research Committee (IFRC), SQFFQ (Semi Quantitative Food Frequency Questionnaire), and a modified Questionnaire of the Management Standards and HSE Indicator Tool (HSE-MS IT). Results : The work stress of study participants 58.3% included in medium category, the nutritional adequacy was 50% normal category for energy, protein deficit 88.4%, and vitamin C deficit 80.0%. The level of work fatigue of respondents is moderate (48.3%) and high (1.7%). The percentage of respondent’s mental work is mostly included in high mental workload (63.3%). Workload (p=0.018) and protein adequacy (p=0.037) have correlation with work stress, while work fatigue (p=0.099), energy adequacy (p=0.117), and vitamin C adequacy (p=0.087) have no relationship. Conclusion : Work stress is related to mental workload, while work fatigue and levels of nutritional adequacy are not related.
