Abstract

Penelitian ini menjelaskan manajemen komplain yang dilakukan oleh divisi Humas di PT Mubina Fifa Mandiri cabang Sidoarjo pada tahun 2019. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Teknik Analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis data menurut Miles dan Huberman  yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan pengambilan kesimpulan. Hasil  penelitian yaitu PT Mubina Fifa Mandiri Sidoarjo dalam menyelesaikan keluhan jemaahnya telah menerapkan 4 aspek penanganan complain menurut Tjiptono dengan baik. Selain itu, PT Mubina Fifa Mandiri Sidoarjo juga telah melaksanakan langkah-langkah efektif untuk menangani keluhan yaitu mengucapkan terima kasih, menjelaskan betapa kita menghargai keluhannya, meminta maaf untuk kesalahan yang kita perbuat, berjanji untuk melakukan sesuatu terhadap keluhan / masalah tersebut secepatnya, menanyakan mengenai informasi yang diperlukan, mengoreksi kepuasan pelanggan, memeriksa kepuasan pelanggan, mencegah kesalahan yang akan datang.

Abstract

Podcast is one of the results of radio development in the new media era. With te presence of podcasts in today`s increasingly sophisticated technological era, there are many positive impacts, one of which is helping students to be more creative in the audio visual field. This study uses the theory of social cognition about te self as a place where all communication messages can be centralized and easy to channel using internet technology and involve the audience to improve the process of interaction and communication. The purpose of this study is to measure ow much students use podcasts as content creators in self-development. This study uses a quantitative method of observation with data collection tecniques trough questionnaires. This method is used as a reference material to collect information and observations of a subject.  50% of respondns answered agree, 10% of respondents chose strongly agree, but 30% of respondents did not show interests. 5% of respondents` answers expressed doubts about the use of podcasts for sudents in improving interpersonal communication and 5% of respondents` anwers stated that they strongly disagreed with podcast media supporting podcasts as communicative media.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how interpersonal communication between ustadz and students forms self-concept at Al Fattah Gesing Islamic Boarding School Banjarsari Buduran Sidoarjo. The results of this study prove that Ustadz can build effective interpersonal communication with students in inculcating moral values ​​at Al-Fattah Islamic Boarding School because they pay attention to important aspects in interpersonal communication (namely: (1) openness; (2) empathy; (3) support; (4) positive; and (5) equality in the process of moral cultivation. The supports faced by Ustadz can build interpersonal communication with students in inculcating moral values ​​at Al-Fattah Islamic Boarding School are as follows: (1) Communication (in the form of advice, direction, and the like) that Ustadz does does not seem to force the students, so that students don't feel too tense when getting guidance from Ustadz; (2) Ustadz already know the background, personality, and life of students in the boarding school; (3 ) There is good coordination between Ustadz and HISFA (Al Fattah Santri Association) management.

Abstract

The era of globalization has given birth to increasingly fierce competition among companies, organizations or individuals who are currently doing business or are running a business, whether it's a business in the field of culinary, services, furniture and so on. Efficient and effective communication is needed to be able to convey ideas, thoughts, and feelings to all consumers, including the photography business. The photography business began to mushroom in the community who also needed to capture moments with family, partners or companies. The photo and video production house “Moonrise Photowork” is an example of a photography business that is developing in the community, especially in Sidoarjo Regency and Surabaya City. The purpose of this study was to determine the marketing communications carried out by "Moonrise Photowork". The method used is descriptive qualitative using the theory of IMC (Integrated Marketing Communication). Data collection techniques in this study were interviews and documentation. The result of this research is "Moonrise Photowork" conducts marketing communication using IMC very effectively to support customer loyalty. Highlights: The impact of globalization has intensified competition in various business sectors, including photography, necessitating efficient and effective communication strategies. Moonrise Photowork, a photo and video production house, serves as an example of a photography business thriving in Sidoarjo Regency and Surabaya City, catering to the growing demand for capturing meaningful moments. The study reveals that Moonrise Photowork effectively implements Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) strategies, leading to enhanced customer loyalty and satisfaction. Abstract

This qualitative study investigates the influence of the 5-Minute Craft YouTube channel on audience creativity through audience reception analysis. Using interview techniques, offline interviews were conducted via WhatsApp to gather responses from viewers. The results reveal a dominant hegemonic position, where the majority of the audience perceives the channel as highly useful. However, a negotiating position emerges, emphasizing the need for verbal guidance to facilitate practical implementation. Conversely, an oppositional stance arises, with some viewers expressing difficulty in applying the crafts shown. Overall, the study highlights the significant impact of YouTube as a mass media platform on audience behavior and sheds light on the complex relationship between content consumption and audience engagement. Highlights: The study investigates the impact of the 5-Minute Craft YouTube channel on audience creativity through qualitative audience reception analysis. The research reveals contrasting audience perspectives, with some perceiving the channel as highly useful while others face difficulties in practicing the crafts shown. The findings emphasize the significant influence of YouTube as a mass media platform on audience behavior and highlight the importance of clear instructional guidance for effective audience engagement. Abstract

The phenomenon of artist marriages being broadcast live on television is now becoming more and more common. Television is one form of mass communication technology development that many people choose so that viewers can now get all the information they need in a simple way. With so many broadcasts on television, researchers are interested in discussing the audience's meaning of one of the most widely discussed shows, namely the wedding broadcast of a pair of public figures in the event "Ikatan Cinta Atta and Aurel" broadcast by RCTI. Therefore, the researcher wants to know how the audience's acceptance of wedding shows and the diversity of wedding culture in Indonesia in the "Atta and Aurel Love Association" event. The researcher used the reception analysis method with a qualitative research approach which was carried out by in-depth interviews with ten informants in Entalsewu Village RW 04 Buduran Sidoarjo. In selecting the informants, the researcher used purposive sampling technique. The result of this research is the audience's meaning which is classified into three positions, namely Dominant Position, Negotiated Position and Optional Position. there are seven informants who are included in the Dominant Position, then there are two informants who are included in the Negotiated Position, and finally there is one person who is included in the Optional Position.

Abstract

TikTok is a social media application that invites its users to create short videos that are about 15 seconds long accompanied by music, filters, and also several other features. TikTok was created by a Chinese company, namely China ByteDance in 2016. The use of TikTok in children aged 10-12 years is very interesting to be used as research material. This study aims to determine the interpersonal communication of parents to children in limiting the use of the TikTok application in the village of Cemengkalang Sidoarjo. This study has several indicators, namely selective, systemic, unique, processual, and transactional. This research was conducted on five residents of Cemengkalang village, Sidoarjo. Researchers used descriptive qualitative research methods with data collection in the form of in-depth interviews with informants. In this study using the theory of Interpersonal Communication from Julia T. Wood. The data that researchers can show that in limiting the use of TikTok parents participate in accompanying children when playing TikTok this is done so that parents can select the video content that children see when playing TikTok, besides that parents also limit the use of the TikTok application for every day, parents establish close relationships with children and often give messages to children not to play TikTok too often.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how interpersonal communication in families with hearing impairments is. Data analysis was carried out by analysis according to Miles and Huberman which consisted of data reduction, data presentation and verification withdrawal. The result of this research is that the communication that exists between the speakers is a complex interpersonal communication. Where in practice, parents with hearing impairment can still communicate with their normal-hearing children. Both verbally and non-verbally, directly or through intermediaries. In addition, the results of the study indicate that parents with hearing impairment as well as children and family members with normal hearing have applied aspects of interpersonal communication. The research conducted also shows that various obstacles experienced by both parents with hearing impairment and family members with normal hearing, namely misunderstandings in the meaning of messages and delays in feedback from parents with hearing impairments. And there are efforts made to overcome obstacles when communicating, namely each individual family member will help each other provide understanding to anyone who does not understand the message they receive. So that it will give rise to good feedback

Abstract

In this study, the purpose of this study was to determine the perception of followers of the @modelmuslimahindonesia account about photo contests on Instagram social media. And the method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. From the results of interviews with followers, which shows that most of them give a positive perception about the hijabers photo contest held on the Instagram account @modelmuslimahindonesia, it has a positive effect or influence, namely being able to develop talent, increase self-confidence starting from the clothes worn, angles or backgrounds that match create perfect results so that they attract Muslim women. As for some of the followers who gave a negative perception of the hijabers photo contest which was held on the Instagram account @modelmuslimahindonsia, starting from the feed not being neat, the criteria for the winner must also be determined and also regarding the costs determined by the Instagram account @modemuslimahindonesia.

Abstract

Communities in Indonesia are created from various kinds according to the benefits and objectives of the community, one of which is a social community, for example, is assistance given to people who are less fortunate and in need of assistance. it can be interpreted that the quality of communication is integrated with the quality of the community. This study aims to determine the interpersonal communication between volunteers and street children in the Save Street Child community in Sidoarjo. The results of this study show that interpersonal communication between volunteers and street children is very effective with openness, empathy, support, a sense of positivity, and equality.
