Abstract

This study examines how to use Instagram as a tourism strategy marketing communication in new normal period at the Hawai Waterpark Malang. In this study, used an analytical in the form of a tourism marketing communication strategy theory (elements marketing mix) utilizing the features that exist on Instagram for business. The purpose of this study was to determine whether the use of Instagram accounts can help tourism marketing communication. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods. The datas are collected by documentation, observation and interviews with the managers of Hawai Waterpark Malang. The results of the study show that the use of Instagram accounts as a tourism marketing communication strategy during the New Normal is very helpful for marketing communication activities. The features offered by Instagram business make the marketing communication process more efficient. Instagram carries of information between Hawai Waterpark Malang and consumers who will visit Hawai Waterpark Malang.

Abstract

Populatitas pengguna media sosial sangat berkembang pesat di Indonesia. Salah satu platform media sosial yang memiliki karakteristik sebagai era self-media ialah Tik Tok. Aplikasi tersebut menyediakan banyak fitur-fitur yang canggih serta memudahkan penggunanya untuk dapat cepat terkenal, sehingga hal tersebut dapat menimbulkan adanya kebohongan antarpribadi, di mana informasi berupa konten yang dibuat oleh pengguna tidak sepenuhnya sesuai dengan fakta yang ada. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap dan memahami bentuk kebohongan yang terjadi dalam Tik Tok, meliputi aktivitas informasi, perilaku, serta bagaimana pengguna mengelola citranya. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah Interpersonal Deception the Theory (IDT) yang merupakan hasil kreasi dari David Buller dan Judee Burgoon. Pada penelitian ini Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif untuk mengetahui gambaran, keadaan, serta fenomena yang terjadi dilapangan kemudian mendeskripsikannya sedetail mungkin berdasarkan fakta yang ada. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan wawancara mendalam (In-depth Interview). Hasil dari penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa Kebohongan antarpribadi yang terjadi dalam akun Tik Tok sangat mudah dilakukan dan sangat marak terjadi karena dalam Tik Tok tidak batasan-batasan yang ketat terkait konten informatif yang diproduksi. Karena pada dasaranya Tik Tok bukan merupakan platform media sosial yang khusus untuk melakukan penyebaran informasi yang real atau sebuah berita, apalagi pada akun pribadi seseorang. Akan tetapi Tik Tok telah menyediakan fitur verifikasi berupa tanda lencana biru pada akun-akun tertentu yang bisa didapatkan oleh pengguna ketika kontennya tidak melanggar panduan Tik Tok, serta kontennya dapat dipertanggung jawabkan. Sedangkan pada akun-akun yang identitasnya kurang jelas, konten-konten yang ada di dalamnya kurang bisa dipercaya sehingga pengguna harus benar-benar memperhatikan secara cermat terkait identitas akun serta konten yang diproduksi di dalamnya.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine and describe the Customer-Driven Service Standards of Citizen Charter in Badan Kepegawaian Daerah Kabupaten Sidoarjo. This research is a qualitative descriptive study located Badan Kepegawaian Daerah Kabupaten Sidoarjo. The technique of determining informants using purposive sampling. The informants in this study were the Head of Badan Kepegawaian Daerah Kabupaten Sidoarjo, Head of Planning and Reporting, Planning and Reporting Staff, Civil Servants in Kabupaten Sidoarjo Government. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The technique of analyzing data uses an interactive model consisting of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that customer-driven service standards are indicated by the formulation of service standards in accordance with the vision and mission of Badan Kepegawaian Daerah Kabupaten Sidoarjo and informed through the official website of the Badan Kepegawaian Daerah Kabupaten Sidoarjo.

Abstract

This qualitative research investigates the dynamics of group communication within the online game Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. The study aims to explore how effective communication and positive interactions among players can be fostered within the game, resulting in mutual understanding and cooperation. Employing a case study approach, the researcher conducted interviews with five Mobile Legends: Bang Bang players. Drawing on Laswell's communication theory, which encompasses the elements of who, says what, through which media, to whom, and with what effects, the study highlights the online communication capabilities provided by the game, such as chat and voice note features. Through these features, players can engage in effective online communication without the need for physical meetings. The research findings reveal that Mobile Legends: Bang Bang facilitates the formation of communities, allowing players to establish connections and build relationships beyond the game. The study concludes that despite the presence of in-game noise, the communication among gamers within a group is highly effective, with players predominantly utilizing chat features and symbols during gameplay for efficient communication. After each match, players further engage in voice chat discussions to analyze game outcomes and address challenges faced during gameplay. This research sheds light on the significance of effective communication in online gaming communities and highlights the potential for building strong player connections and fostering positive interactions in virtual environments Highlights: Effective communication: The study highlights the importance of effective communication in fostering collaboration and understanding among players in the online game Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. Abstract

This scientific article presents a program designed to foster sustainable economic independence within Kemlagi Village, Indonesia, by harnessing the potential of small businesses. The program aims to motivate and engage the local community through effective communication schemes and empowerment initiatives, maximizing the village's resources and potential. By focusing on the branding of local honey products, the program enhances the value and marketability of these products while promoting the understanding of the significance of branding among the villagers. The training method involves short sessions covering branding strategies and media utilization, followed by interactive Q&A and discussions. The results highlight increased knowledge and skills in branding, paving the way for the village to transform into a sought-after Honey Tourism Village. The implications of this study shed light on how local communities can achieve economic sustainability through targeted empowerment programs and brand development. Highlights: Engaging Rural Communities: The program aims to motivate and involve local residents directly in maximizing their village's potential by harnessing the power of branding for local products. Enhancing Marketability: Through targeted training sessions, the program seeks to equip villagers with the knowledge and skills needed to elevate the value and market appeal of their local honey products. Abstract

Fashion merupakan salah satu bentuk sarana dalam mengekspresikan diri seseorang. Gaya fashion androgini mulai banyak ditemuai dalam berbagai platform media sosial salah satunya, Tiktok. Fashion androgini identik dengan transgender, sehingga masyarakat menganggap hal tersebut hal yang tabu dan menyimpang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisa bagaimana penonton akun Tiktok @genunerd memaknai fashion androgini dalam media sosial Tiktok. Teori dalam penelitian ini adalah persepsi yang terdiri atas sensasi (stimulus), atensi  dan interpretasi.  Penelitian ini menggunakan deksripsi kualitatif, dimana peneliti ingin menggambarkan fakta-fakta yang digunakan untuk memperoleh gambaran mengenai fashion androgini pada media sosial Tiktok dalam persepsi penonton akun @genunerd. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara dan obeservasi. Dalam penentuan subjek penelitian, penelti  menggunakan teknik snowball sampling. Untuk menganalisis data menggunakan analisis data dari miles dan huberman. Hasil penelitian menghasilkan persepsi pada informan bahwa penampilan fashion androgini pada akun Tiktok @genunerd merupakan sebuah kebebasan untuk mengekspresikan diri melalui fashion. Namun disisi lainnya masyarakat masih belum menerima laki-laki yang berpenampilan androgini karena faktor norma dan hal yang tabu dalam kehidupan masyarakat

Abstract

Permasalahan yang dihadapi Pimpinan Daerah Muhammadiyah (PDM) Kabupaten Pasuruan adalah keterbatasan anggota yang memiliki kemampuan menjadi Master of Ceremony (MC) untuk memandu jalannya kegiatan bersifat formal. Kondisi ini mengakibatkan setiap kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh Pimpinan Daerah Muhammadiyah (PDM) Kabupaten Pasuruan terkesan tidak teratur dan kurang serius khususnya saat kegiatan dihadiri oleh pejabat pemerintahan. Permasalahan ini muncul karena PDM Kabupaten Pasuruan belum memiliki kader yang ahli di bidang public speaking khususnya MC. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman setiap sekolah Muhammadiyah di bawah naungan Majelis Pendidikan Dasar dan Menengah (Dikdasmen) PDM Kabupaten Pasuruan tentang menjadi MC pada kegiatan formal mulai tingkat lokal, regional hingga nasional. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah wawancara dengan ketua PDM Kabupaten Pasuruan bersama Majelis Dikdasmen, salah satu divisi di bawah PDM. Selain itu, metode yang dilakukan adalah observasi, sosialisasi dan pelatihan Master of Ceremony. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 30 peserta yang merupakan guru atau humas perwakilan 15 sekolah Muhammadiyah di Kabupaten Pasuruan. Peserta didelegasikan oleh sekolah berdasarkan kemampuan dalam membawakan acara pada kegiatan sekolah masing-masing. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan respon positif PDM Kabupaten Pasuruan dalam meningkatkan kualitas kualitas MC untuk membawakan kegiatan berskala lokal, regional dan nasional. Selain itu, hasil kegiatan menunjukkan tingkat pemahaman bagaimana menjadi MC yang baik juga mengalami peningkatan melalui praktik secara individu maupun berpasangan. Pada aspek teknis, pelatihan MC ini membantu sekolah dan Majelis Dikdasmen untuk menyusun acara, menulis skrip MC dan menempatkan pembawaan MC sesuai tingkat kegiatan dan jumlah peserta pada kegiatan local, regional dan nasional

Abstract

During the Covid-19 pandemic, the education sector experienced a significant impact, which made learning must be done online. This makes people demanded to be able to use technology, especially the parents of kindergarten-elementary students' guardians. Because in order to help work on school assignments given by teachers to students through digital media. In general, teachers on average kindergarten assign assignments at least once per day to students. Then the work is done by making a video of how to work on the assignment and it is done by the student's guardian. So that it is interesting through online media. Ganting Village, is one of the villages that also has a kindergarten school which is directly sheltered by a village government agency. In this condition, it is known that there are still many kindergarten-SD students' parents who are less well off in digital media as a means of running online schools. This situation makes many guardians difficult in facing the Brave school, starting from limited knowledge about technology, the cost of internet quota, which can also have an impact on the impact of interest in learning. The community service program entitled Education on the Use of Audio Visual Applications for Guardian Students in Ganting Facing Village Sekolah Berani Salama during the Pandemic Period aims to provide training to parents of students who currently find it difficult to use social media application technology in completing their child's assignments. The output of this program can be seen with scientific contributions to scientific articles, and video documentation of activities can be displayed via the youtube channel.

Abstract

Based on the researcher will examine social media marketing related to the concept of content used in Majestic Koi Farm's social media instagaram, the researcher aims to describe the content strategy used by Majestic Koi Farm to obtain research novelty. In this study, the research method is used the approach shown where the research describes the facts, facts, fields, and properties of objective traits accurately based on data derived from the results of observations through the Instagram account on a business. This data collection technique is also carried out through research on the analysis of instagaram social media content. The object of this study is Majestic Koi Farm's Instagram, while the subject in this study focuses on Majestic Koi Farm. The results of the research based on analysis through Instagram social media show that Majestic Koi Farm has implemented a social media marketing strategy in its Instagram. Through the use of Instagram, Majestic Koi Farm has successfully influenced consumers and increased their sales.

Abstract

Dating apps have significantly changed the dynamics of interpersonal interactions, and the reasons why people use these programs vary, including the desire to find a mate, expand their social circle, or simply satisfy their curiosity. The People Nearby feature in the Line app is specifically aimed at fostering deeper relationships and increasing social interaction. Motivational needs consist of five levels, namely basic needs, security needs, social needs, needs to be rewarded and finally the need to self-actualize. In this research, researchers used Abraham Maslow's theory of motivation to determine the motivation of Communication Science students at Muhammadiyah University of Sidoarjo to use the Line People Nearby dating application. The purpose of the research entitled student motivation in using the dating application “Line People Nearby” as an effort to build new relationships, namely researchers want to analyze the motivation of Communication Science students at Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo University in using the Line People Nearby dating application. The type of method used by researchers uses qualitative research methods. The researcher concluded that all informants had embraced Maslow's theory of needs, starting from basic needs, the need for security, social needs, taste needs, wanting to get a sense of reward. However, some informants fall into the category of social needs (a sense of love, affection, and ownership rights)
