Abstract

The objective of this research is to analyze marketing channels, functions of marketing institutions, profit margin, marketing margins, farmer's share and cocoa marketing efficiency in East Bacan District, South Halmahera Regency. This research was conducted from June to August 2021. The sampling method of farmers used purposive sampling. The number of farmer respondents is 39 people and the sample is taken by traders using snowball sampling. The data analysis used is descriptive qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results showed that there were III (three) marketing channels. The functions of marketing institutions carried out by marketing agencies are exchange functions, physical functions, and facilities functions. The total margin of marketing channel I is Rp. 4,000/Kg, marketing costs of Rp. 2.700/Kg and a profit margin of Rp. 1300/Kg. The total margin for channel II is Rp. 5000/Kg, marketing costs of Rp. 2.350/Kg and a profit margin of Rp. 2.650/Kg. The total margin of marketing channel III is Rp. 7,500/Kg, marketing costs of Rp.2,950/Kg and profit margin of Rp. 4.575/Kg. Farmer's share obtained in channel I is 86.20%. channel II by 82.14%. and channel III of 73.68%. The value of the efficiency of marketing channel I is 9.31% <50%. The value of the efficiency of marketing channel II is 8.39% < 50%. The value of the efficiency of marketing channel III is 10.26% <50%. In terms of efficiency, the three marketing channels are already efficient and marketing channel II is the most efficient marketing channel compared to channels I and III.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the income of curly chili farming in Kauditan sub-district, North Minahasa regency. This research was conducted in Kauditan District, North Minahasa Regency. This research began from March to June 2022. The method used in this study was purposive with the consideration that Kauditan District is one of the curly chili producing districts. The type of data used in this research is primary and secondary data. The primary data consisted of data on fixed costs, variable costs, investment costs, curly chili production data, curly chili price data, sales data and curly chili cultivation information obtained from field visits and direct interviews with curly chili farmers in Kauditan District. Secondary data in the form of curly chili production development data, curly chili productivity data, and curly chili farming analysis data from other studies obtained from literature studies both obtained in libraries, websites, and other places in the form of the results of previous research related to research problems. The results showed that the income of curly chili farming in Kauditan District, North Minahasa Regency per hectare in one planting cycle with a total of 10,000 plants amounted to IDR225,190,000.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the income and feasibility of Stevia farming in Tountimomor Village, West Kakas District, Minahasa Regency. The research was carried out for 3 months, from May to July 2022. The respondents in the study were determined deliberately. The data used are primary data collected through interviews based on questionnaires and secondary data obtained through Google Scholar in the form of books. The results showed that in the first 6 months the revenue did not cover all the costs incurred by farmers for the production of Stevia because all costs were incurred for 1 planting period which was for 6 years, so the income was still negative. Therefore, the second stage was continued, namely financial analysis to determine the feasibility of Stevia farming using the criteria of NPV, IRR, Net B/C and BEP. The results of the analysis of the feasibility of farming are feasible or Stevia farming in Tountimomor Village, West Kakas District, Minahasa Regency is feasible to implement.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the income of mustard greens farming "pakcoy" in Rurukan Village, East Tomohon District. This research was conducted for 2 months, from August to October 2022. The data analysis method used in this study was descriptive analysis. The data used are primary data and secondary data. The primary data was obtained by means of a survey through the face-to-face stage using a questionnaire which contained a list of questions regarding the identity of the respondent, the input and output of the "pakcoy" mustard spoon farming. Secondary data obtained from books or literature related to the problem under study. The results showed that the total production of mustard spoon "pakcoy" obtained in one harvest of mustard spoon "pakcoy" was 759.09 Kg with a cultivated area of 0.162 Ha. The price that applies to farmers is IDR21,818/10Kg. The total costs incurred by farmers in one harvest of the mustard spoon "pakcoy" average IDR609,741. The total income of the "pakcoy" spoon mustard farmers in this business averages IDR1,381,818. The total income of mustard greens farmers with an average "pakcoy" spoon is IDR772,077 and the results of the R/C ratio analysis in one harvest show that the "pakcoy" spoon mustard farming is profitable for farmers so that it can be continued and developed.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the marketing mix at K2B cafes in Kleak Village, Manado City. This research was conducted from August to September 2022. The selection of respondents was carried out by chance, that is, with whom the respondent met the researcher. The data used are primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained from K2B internet cafe owners in Kleak Village, Manado City. Secondary data was collected through interviews, based on a questionnaire, so that a total of 20 respondents. The results showed that there were 2 marketing mix variables that were satisfied, namely product variables (81.10%) and price (84.44%) while those who felt dissatisfied were place and promotion variables.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the financial feasibility of cocoa farming in Kopandakan II Village, Lolayan District, Bolaang Mongondow Regency. This research was conducted from October to November 2022. Data collection in the field was carried out by purposive sampling by direct interviews and data from the Central Bureau of Statistics for Bolaang Mongondow Regency, institutions related to cocoa commodity and scientific information from researchers - previous researchers. The variables measured in this study are cocoa production, cocoa prices, investment costs, cocoa operational costs, and cocoa income. The results of the data obtained will then be processed and analyzed in more depth using the analysis of investment criteria. The results of this study indicate that cocoa farming in Kopandakan II Village is feasible. With data obtained from the average Net Present Value of cocoa farming per hectare by farmers using intercropping of Rp. 6,098,333 and Rp. Rp.8,626,871 for cocoa farming using the monoculture method, the Internal Rate of Return for cocoa farming using intercropping is 19% and 20.64% for cocoa farming using monoculture. the Net B/C yield is 1.421 monoculture and 1.277 intercropping, the Payback Period cocoa farming by intercropping for 7 years 8 months and 7 years in cocoa farming by monoculture to return the investment costs incurred.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the amount of corn farming income according to the area of land they cultivate in Inobonto Village, Bolaang District, Bolaang Mongondow Regency. This research was conducted for 3 months starting from November 2022 to January 2023. The data used in this study were primary and secondary data. Primary data were obtained in the research field, namely from interviews with corn farmers, while secondary data were obtained from agencies related to the research. The sample used is homogeneous, so the sample determination is carried out proportionally according to the tenure of the land area of 15 respondents. The results of the data obtained, then processed using farming analysis according to Suratiyah. Based on the calculation results of corn farming analysis in Inobonto Village, Bolaang District, Bolaang Mongondow Regency, the farm income with a land area of L < 1 Ha is IDR16,418,000 with an R/C Ratio value of 2.20, and for Land Area 1 < L < 2 Ha With an income of IDR49,702,000 with an R/C Ratio value of 4.00 while Corn farming income with a Land Area of L> 2 Ha is IDR96,546,000 with an R/C Ratio value of 4.97. So for all land areas the R/C ratio is greater than 1.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of farmer groups in improving the welfare of farmers in Dumoga Village, East Dumoga District. This research was conducted from August to December 2022 in Dumoga Village, East Dumoga Subdistrict, Bolaang Mongondow Regency, North Sulawesi Province. The research used primary data obtained through distributing questionnaires directly to corn farmers in Dumoga Village, East Dumoga Subdistrict, Bolaang Mongondow Regency, while Secondary data were obtained from simultaneous reports in Dumoga Village, East Dumoga Subdistrict, Bolaang Mongondow Regency. The sampling method uses a total sampling method of 25 samples from the total population. The samples taken were corn farmer groups that produced in 2022. The data analysis method used in this research is descriptive analysis method. Descriptive analysis is to explain and describe the state of phenomena that occur in the research area and to determine the role of farmer groups in improving the welfare of corn farmers. Furthermore, descriptive analysis measurements were carried out using a Likert scale, then scored, namely Score 1: Disagree, Score 2: Disagree, Score 3: Agree, Score 4: Strongly Agree. The results showed that the role of the Kamba Ula Farmer Group was very instrumental, both its role as a learning class, a vehicle for cooperation and a production unit played a role in this, so the level of farmer welfare increased because of the role of the farmer group had provided counseling and assistance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of customer satisfaction of Bifi Coffee, Pondang Village, East Amurang District, South Minahasa Regency. The research was conducted from May to July 2023. This study uses accidental sampling technique, namely determining the sample by chance, that is, anyone who happens to meet the researcher can be used as a sample. Determination of the sample using the Malhora formula, namely 5 multiplied by the number of variables or the number of questions available, with 13 question indicators, the sample taken was 65. The results showed that the attributes that need attention and are the top priority for improvement are quadrant I (ease of responding to requests and attractive place decoration). In the next attribute included in quadrant II (alertness of employees when customers visit, courtesy to customers, friendliness to customers, cleanliness and tidiness of the place, available equipment facilities and tidiness of service appearance). Attributes that fall into quadrant III (employee skills and abilities, timeliness in serving and ease of communication). Quadrant IV attributes (speed of the presentation process, readiness and willingness to serve customers). Based on the CSI calculation, the value of the level of customer satisfaction at Cafe Bifi Coffee, Pondang Village, East Amurang District, South Minahasa Regency reaches a value of 80.71%. This value is in the range 0.66-0.80%, thus overall consumers are satisfied with Cafe Bifi Coffee.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the profit of kale vegetable retailers in Wilken Tomohon Market, East Tomohon District, Tomohon City. This research was conducted for two months from June to July 2023 from the preparation stage to the preparation of research results located at Wilken Tomohon Market, East Tomohon District, Tomohon City. The data used in this research are primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained through interviews using a list of questions (questionnaires) to kale vegetable traders in Wilken Market, Tomohon City. Secondary data were obtained from available books, such as local books and the internet and accessing articles from various scientific journals. The sampling method was simple random sampling and a sample of 10 kale traders was taken. The research data analysis method is based on the data obtained, processed and tabulated in accordance with the results of the analysis, to test the data that has been collected in order to obtain the amount of profit, which is obtained through profit analysis. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the profit of kale vegetable retailers at Wilken Tomohon Market is obtained from total revenue of Rp1,142,000 per week less total costs of Rp703,020 per week, the profit of kale vegetable retailers is Rp438,980 per week.
