Abstract

Psikoterapi Islam merupakan pendekatan terapeutik yang memadukan prinsip-prinsip psikologi dengan ajaran Islam untuk membantu individu dalam mengatasi masalah mental dan emosional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi efektivitas pendekatan psikoterapi Islam dalam meningkatkan kesehatan mental. Kajian teoritis ini mengintegrasikan konsep-konsep utama seperti tauhid, tawakal, dan sabar dalam proses terapi. Studi ini juga mengevaluasi beberapa penelitian empiris terkait penerapan psikoterapi Islam pada berbagai kelompok pasien yang mengalami depresi, kecemasan, dan gangguan lainnya. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan psikoterapi Islam dapat menjadi intervensi yang efektif dalam memperbaiki kesehatan mental individu melalui penguatan spiritual, penerimaan, dan pendekatan hidup yang lebih positif.

Abstract

Penelitian tentang karakter religius yang terealisasi pada ranah perilaku terus berkembang. Penelitian tentang karakter religius ini sangat penting dilakukan karena berkaitan dengan peran remaja di masyarakat. Selain itu, masih minim penelitian sebelumnya yang meneliti tentang pola pengasuhan berdasarkan perspektif Islam yang dapat dilakukan guna meningkatkan karakter religius remaja. Adapun  tujuan penelitian ini, yaitu mengkaji hubungan antara Islamic parenting dengan karakter religius remaja. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada 200 orang remaja akhir yakni mahasiswa. Pengumpulan data penelitian melalui skala Islamic parenting yang disusun penulis berdasarkan teori Nashih Ulwan (2006) dan skala karakter religius yang disusun berdasarkan teori Ibnu Maskawaih (2004). Analisis data menggunakan teknik product moment correlation. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat korelasi yang sangat signifikan antara Islamic parenting dengan karakter religius remaja. Dengan demikian hipotesisdalam penelitian ini yakni “ada hubungan antara Islamic parenting dengan karakter religius” diterima. Artinya, semakin tinggi penerapan pola asuh Islami dari orang tua kepada remaja, maka semakin tinggi karakter religius yang terbentuk. Implikasi pada penelitian ini adalah urgensi dari pentingnya pola pengasuhan orang tua berdasarkan nilai-nilai Islam atau Islamic Parenting dapat digunakan secara optimal untuk membentuk dan meningkatkan karakter religius remaja.

Abstract

Holistic education is a demand of the times amidst the complexity of global challenges, especially in forming a generation that is intellectually, morally, socially, and spiritually qualified. Islamic educational psychology is present as an approach that integrates the principles of psychology with the values ​​of Islamic teachings. This study aims to analyze the application of Islamic educational psychology in schools. The method used is a literature study with content analysis techniques. The results of the study indicate that Islamic educational psychology emphasizes the balance between cognitive, affective, social, and spiritual aspects in the learning process, based on the values ​​of monotheism, sincerity, patience, gratitude, and tawakal. Its application in schools involves the formation of a conducive learning environment, learning methods that are in accordance with the development of students, and comprehensive evaluation.

Abstract

Dhikr therapy is effective in reducing anxiety levels and blood pressure in hypertensive patients. This study aims to explore the effectiveness of dhikr therapy in reducing anxiety in people with hypertension. The literature review was conducted by analyzing research articles that met the inclusion criteria, namely articles that discuss the effect of dhikr therapy as a relaxation method in individuals with hypertension, published in indexed journals and published in the last 10 years. The thematic analysis method was used to identify the main patterns of relevant research results. The results showed that dhikr therapy has a significant positive impact on reducing anxiety levels and improving emotional well-being in people with hypertension. Some studies have also shown a decrease in anxiety and stress, as well as improvements in blood pressure after regular dhikr practice. These findings suggest that dhikr can be an additional approach to the management of hypertension and anxiety, especially for populations seeking non-pharmacological interventions. However, further research is needed to corroborate its long-term effectiveness and optimal therapeutic techniques.

Abstract

Adolescents have mature social competence that will lead to behavior that is acceptable to society. This challenge is experienced by early adolescents and one of the influences is parent attachment in adolescents. This study aims to identify the positive relationship between parent attachment and adolescent social competence. This type of research is quantitative research. The subjects of this study were students of SMPN 40 Pekanbaru. A total of 240 students were targeted in this study. Research data were obtained using the Social Skill Scale with a reliability of 0.855 and the Inventory of Parent and Peer Attachment-Revised (IPPA-R) Scale with a reliability of 0.898. The R Square result is 0.60, stating that the parent attachment variable simultaneously contributes to social competence by 60%, while the remaining 40% is not studied. The results of Pearson's correlation analysis show that there is a positive relationship between parent attachment and social competence in adolescents, with a correlation coefficient of r=0.246. This means that the level of parent attachment is positively related to the level of social competence in adolescents. Thus the higher the level of parent attachment that adolescents have, the higher their social competence, conversely the lower the level of parent attachment that adolescents have, the lower their social competence. The implication of this study is that to improve social welfare and appropriate behavior accepted by society, adolescents have mature social competence by improving parent-attachment relationships.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the effectiveness of dhikr psychotherapy in reducing depressionamongcollege students. The research methodemployedisa literature review, involving the collection ofrelevant literature and research findings related to dhikr therapy, Islamic psychotherapy, and depression. This study includes 10 articles published between 2014 and 2024, whichdemonstratethat dhikr psychotherapy has a significant impact onloweringdepression levels. The results indicate that dhikr therapy,particularlyistighfar dhikr, cansubstantiallyreduce depressionsymptoms.Dhikrservesas a form of worship that provides emotional and spiritual calm,while also enhancingmental and physical well-being. This therapy not onlyalleviatessymptoms of depression but also strengthens an individual's spiritual and emotionalresilience.

Abstract

Learning motivation is a crucial foundation for the academic success of elementary school students, yet low motivation remains a primary challenge in educational practice. Although the behavioristic approach through reinforcement offers a practical solution, empirical findings on its effectiveness show inconsistencies, particularly in differentiating its influence on intrinsic and extrinsic motivation. This study aims to synthesize empirical findings on the influence of reinforcement on the learning motivation of elementary school students. The method used is a systematic literature review of seven articles from the Google Scholar and Sage Publications databases that met the inclusion criteria. The synthesis results indicate that reinforcement is a fundamental factor that significantly shapes behavior and enhances motivation. Positive reinforcement, such as praise, is proven effective in strengthening perceived competence, whereas criticism has the potential to damage learning interest. Its effectiveness is highly dependent on crucial factors such as timing, consistency, and appropriateness to student characteristics. This study confirms that reinforcement, when applied strategically and wisely, is an applicable and relevant tool for teachers to create a supportive learning environment that fosters the development of student motivation.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technology has fundamentally transformed students’ learning environments, particularly in secondary education. While digital platforms offer extensive access to information, excessive exposure to digital stimuli often results in learning distractions that reduce concentration and depth of comprehension. This study aims to examine students’ learning concentration difficulties in the digital era using the perspective of Gestalt theory. Employing a qualitative case study approach, the research focuses on a junior high school student who experienced a decline in academic understanding associated with high levels of digital distraction. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using descriptive qualitative techniques. The findings reveal that digital distraction leads to fragmented information processing, preventing students from organizing learning materials into meaningful and coherent structures. From a Gestalt perspective, this condition inhibits insight learning, as students fail to perceive relationships among concepts as an integrated whole. The study underscores the importance of instructional strategies that promote holistic perception, such as visual organization, concept mapping, and attention management, to support effective learning in digital contexts. These findings confirm the continued relevance of Gestalt theory in explaining contemporary learning challenges and provide practical implications for educators in designing meaningful learning experiences in the digital era

Abstract

The phenomena of fear of marriage (gamophobia) and the choice to live a childfree life have become increasingly prominent among younger generations, reflecting a shift in values regarding commitment, marriage, and reproduction. This article aims to analyze these phenomena through the perspective of evolutionary psychology. Using a qualitative literature review approach, this study examines scholarly books and journal articles related to gamophobia, childfree lifestyles, life history theory, and evolutionary mismatch. The findings indicate that fear of marriage can be understood as an adaptive response to the high evolutionary costs of long-term commitment, including perceived threats to autonomy, relational instability, and economic uncertainty. Meanwhile, the decision to remain childfree represents an alternative reproductive strategy when environmental conditions are perceived as unfavorable for parental investment. These results suggest that contemporary attitudes toward marriage and reproduction are not merely a rejection of traditional norms but reflect adaptive psychological strategies in response to modern social and ecological pressures.
