Abstract

PT XYZ is an agri-food company that has used the information technology for its company's operations. Information technology management at PT XYZ requires an audit to determine the level of information technology capability on PT XYZ and it provides a recommendations for business process improvements to achieve the business objectives of the company. Since this audit is intended to assess the managerial and technical aspect of information technology, audit of PT XYZ is conducted by applying COBIT 5 framework. Procedure of COBIT 5 consists of audit plans, audit preparation phase, the implementation phase of the audit, and audit reporting stage. This audit measures the capability level of information technology management at the sub-domain Manage Strategy (APO02) Manage Enterprise Architecture (APO03) Manage Relationships (APO08) Manage Suppliers (APO10) Manage Requirements Definition (BAI02) Identification Solutions Manage and Build (BAI03), and Manage Knowledge (BAI08). Based on evaluation using COBIT 5, PT XYZ is in the level 2.6 out of 5. Due to the rounding index value, the measurement results are at level 3 (Established Process) while the company's expectation level is at level 5. The level difference occurs because PT XYZ has not conducted a review, evaluation, and report of the settlement. Therefore, companies need to improve information technology management in achieving the company's business goals.

Abstract

Writer identification is a sub-field in handwriting recognition which its objective is to determine the identity of the writer based on handwriting input. The goal is usually for forensic purposes such as finding the perpetrators of crimes that leave traces of evidence in the form of written messages. In addition, writer identification can also be used to determine the identity of a historical actor if he or she leaves a valuable written artefact. The object of this research is the traditional character of the Lampung region which is so-called Had Lampung by the local community. The traditional character of Lampung consists of 20 main characters and 12 diacritics. Based on selected characters, the writer will be recognized using the Principal Component Analysis (PCA) feature. PCA is one linear feature extraction method of an object in pattern recognition. The PCA algorithm consists of several stages, namely the calculation of the average dataset, the subtraction of the vector dataset with averages, the calculation of covariance, the calculation of eigenvectors and eigenvalues, eigenvector reduction, and the projection of the dataset against reduced eigenvector space. PCA in this paper is used as a feature in image recognition. The dataset utilized in this study is the Lampung Dataset which is a handwritten character recognition (HWCR) dataset. Lampung Dataset consists of 82 Lampung handwritten documents. All Lampung character images in the dataset were extracted from these documents using the connected component extraction algorithm and eventually generated 32,140 images. Furthermore, these images are converted into grayscale images. In this research, as many as 12,500 grayscale images of Lampung handwriting characters were chosen to represent 82 different writers. This data is employed as training and testing data on the proposed method. The highest accuracy of the identification of the writer using this PCA feature is 82.92%, while the lowest accuracy is 28.29%.

Abstract

XYZ company has implemented information technology in the company's operations. Information technology management audits are needed to find out whether the application of information technology is in accordance with the company's control standards. The framework used in this research was COBIT 5.0 domain that is DSS (Delivery, support, dan service) because the DSS domain includes has IT management scope, data management scope, and facility operational scope. This research aimed to evaluate information technology management at the company. Audit results shows that the company's capability level in 4th level (Predictable Process). Predictable Process means that DSS domain process has been standarized, do the IT process, and achieved process. Capability level that the company wants to be achieve is 5th level (Optimizing Process). To achieve this level, companies must innovate and make sustainability improvements.Keywords: COBIT 5.0 Framework, Delivery, support, dan service, DSS Domain, IT Management of Audit PT. XYZ adalah perusahaan yang telah menerapkan teknologi informasi dalam operasional perusahaan. Audit manajemen teknologi informasi diperlukan untuk mengetahui apakah penerapan teknologi informasi sudah sesuai dengan standar control perusahaan. Framework yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah COBIT 5.0 domain yang DSS (Delivery, support, dan service) karena domain DSS mencakup pengelolaan layanan teknologi informasi, pengelolaan data, dan operasional fasilitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi manajemen teknologi informasi pada perusahaan tersebut. Berdasarkan hasil audit, capability level perusahaan berada pada level 4 (Predictable Process). Predictable Process diartikan proses domain DSS pada perusahaan telah terstandarisasi, melakukan proses sesuai dengan standar yang ditetapkan, dan mencapai hasil dari proses tersebut. Namun, expected level yang ingin dicapai perusahaan adalah level 5 (Optimizing Process). Untuk mencapai level tersebut, perusahaan harus membuat inovasi dan melakukan perbaikan yang berkelanjutan.Kata kunci: Audit Manajemen Teknologi Informasi, Delivery, support, dan service, Domain DSS, Framework COBIT 5.

Abstract

In the last few decades, the use of household electronic goods (Air Conditioner (AC), Washing Machine, and Refrigerator) has increased significantly. Since these devices are used continuously, those might be very susceptible to damage. This study aims to develop a web-based expert system that capable to diagnose and provide information for possible solutions. The system adopts the forward chaining approaches  on the PHP language. The effectiveness of the system was evaluated by using 30 test problems (10 refrigerators, 10 washing machines, and 10 air conditioners). The experimental results are compared to those given by expert. It shown that the system can solve problems effectively.Keywords: Expert System, Artificial Intelligence, Electronics, Forward Chaining Dalam beberapa dekade terakhir, penggunaan barang elektronik rumah tangga (Air Conditioner (AC), Mesin Cuci dan Kulkas) meningkat meningkat sangat signifikan. Karena slat elektronik tersebut digunakan secara terus menerus, sehingga sangat rentan kerusakan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangan system pakar berbasisi web yang mampu mendiagnosa kerusakan dan memberikan informasi solusi perbaikan yang mungkin dilakukan. Sistem ini dikembangkan dengan mengadopsi metode penalaran maju (forward chaining) dalam bahasa PHP. Sistem diujicobakan dengan menggunakan 30 jenis kerusakan (10 kulkas, 10 mesin cuci dan 10 AC). Hasil yang diperoleh dibandingkan dengan hasil yang diberikan oleh pakar. Hasil eksperimen menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu membantu penyelesaian masalah secara efektif.Kata kunci: Sistem Pakar, Kecerdasan Buatan, Barang Elektronik, Forward Chaining

Abstract

For the sake of reinforcing the local knowledge (that seems to be abandoned by local community of West Lampung themselves) and to make corrections against agroforestry malpractices as well as of accommodating to the poor performance of extension programs on recharge area of West Lampung (including of media lacking of extension), we have developed the entertainment media of pictorial story books of coffee agroforestry. The media were designed especially for the low literate community (Nurhaida et al., 2004) to affirm the tao of knowledge of the four tribes dwell in the recharge area: Lampungese, Semendonese, Sundanese and Sundanese of villages of Way Mengaku, Sukananti, Sidomakmur and Gunung Terang respectively (see Nurhaida et al., (2005). There are four languages edition in accordance with the locally mother tongues of the four tribes plus Indonesian to accommodate the other tribes exist in West Lampung. Desk activities were conducted at the Laboratory of Multimedia, Departmentof Communication Science, The University of Lampung Indonesia. Media pretesting were conducted twice in August-September 2005 to measure the variables of attraction, self involvement, acceptability and comprehension of the media in accordance with Bertrand’s suggestion (1978). Between the two and the second of the media pretesting, there had been conducted the media improvements. The research showed that the entertainment media have been used up to be a learning media for the propose of extension program in the recharge area successfully. This claim is supported by the high effectiveness of the five editions: (Lampungese, Semendonese, Javanese, Sundanese and Indonesian of 85, 89, 88, 89, and 86% repectively) that brookthrough aggaints the severely heavied barrier of low litteracy : 27, 44, 39, 77, dan 88 words per second respectively. It is strongly recommended that: (1) reproduce the media and disseminate into community dwell on the recharge of West Lampung to reinforce the tao of knowledge, and (2) conduct the similar research on other recharge areas.

Abstract

Population data management is a very important thing in a government agency. Information about the village is important to provide information to the community. This research was conducted in Tulang Bawang State village of Bunga Mayang district of North Lampung. Currently, the management of population data is still done by conventional, by storing data in the form of documents recorded. To facilitate the management of such data, it is necessary to make the village information system fast and accurate. This system uses waterfall development method. Analysis, design, recording, testing, and maintenance. The result of the evaluation of the village information system of Tulang Bawang State, the assessment for satisfaction is at an average of 78.38% aspect of the display or in category good. The test results showed that the functions in the village information system of Tulang Bawang state have been able to run well according to what was given. So it can be concluded that the system is working well to help the village staff work in the management of population data and make logging more accurate.

Abstract

Reference letters play an important role in the management of population administration at the sub-district (kelurahan) level. When the residents need a reference letter for their specific purpose, they first must manage the request letter from RT and deliver it to the sub-district office. However, during the COVID-19 pandemic, direct interaction among residents and sub-district officers should be avoided. Even, in some circumstances, the services by the sub-district office must be performed online. For this reason, a web-based RT Level Letter Administration Information System was developed by applying the waterfall approach. The user interaction and communication are modeled by Unified Modeling Language (UML). The system is implemented using PHP. The assessment of the functionality of the system by the Black Box Testing indicates that the system conforms to its requirements. This system is ready to deploy in RT 040 of sub-district Pesawahan, Bandar Lampung to serve residents.

Abstract

Dengan adanya perangkat komputer, keterampilan mengetik aparat desa perlu ditingkatkan lagi sehingga fungsi pelayanan masyarakat menjadi lebih baik dan memuaskan. Sasaran kegiatan ini adalah para aparatur Desa Tambah Dadi, Kecamatan Purbolinggo, Lampung Timur. Bentuk kegiatan ini adalah pelatihan Metode Kanang untuk meningkatkan keterampilan pengetikan. Metode Kanang merupakan metode pengetikan yang mengoptimalkan fungsi jari tangan agar mata terfokus pada tulisan yang diketik. Pre-test dan post-test diberikan sebelum dan setelah kegiatan pelatihan. Materi yang disampaikan pada pelatihan ini meliputi pengetahuan tentang posisi jari tangan pada keyboard dan metode mengetik cepat dengan metode Kanang. Hasil evaluasi pre-test dan post-test menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan para aparatur desa mengetik cepat dengan Metode Kanang meningkat sebesar 28%. Meskipun demikian, keterampilan mengetik harus tetap dilatih secara rutin untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mengetik.

Abstract

Carassius Auratus, also known as goldfish, is the most commonly kept ornamental fish in an aquarium that has a variety of species, shapes, and colors. Goldfish anatomy is almost similar between species so it is difficult to distinguish. Goldfish identification has several processes to determine the level of success. One process that is very important for identification is segmentation. Segmentation is the stage to separate objects and backgrounds. Good segmentation results will provide maximum feature extraction results and it should impact on optimal identification results. This research aims to create a system that can be used to segment goldfish fish objects in the background using the Expectation-Maximization method. Expectation-Maximization is an algorithm for estimating a parameter in a function by using Maximum Likelihood Estimation (MLE). Goldfish fish species total of 72 images each totaling 216. Goldfish segmentation evaluation results using the Expectation-Maximization method can work well with an accuracy rate of 89.14%. Analysis of the results of the imperfect fish image segmentation is influenced by white light and the background color is almost similar to that of the goldfish. The results of the best goldfish image segmentation are influenced by a good goldfish image when the image capture process at the time of the screenshot has a stable focus and is not blurry so that the edges of the goldfish object appear clearly and sharply.

Abstract

Fashion is a way for women to express themselves in social life. Women who know their body shape can determine the appropriate clothes to enhance the beauty of their appearance. However, not all women understand their body shape. Women have five types of body shapes with their respective advantages and disadvantages. Dress-Up Game is a simulation game that explains the characteristics of a woman's body shape with 2-dimensional images. This game also provides a model of clothing that suits body shape. The dress-Up game is made using the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) method and is operated on the Android platform. This Dress-Up game aims to help women understand clothes that suit their body shape.Keywords: android, body shape, Dress-Up, game simulationFashion merupakan salah satu cara wanita untuk mengekspresikan diri dalam kehidupan sosial. Wanita yang mengetahui bentuk tubuhnya dapat menentukan pakaian yang sesuai sehingga meningkatkan keindahan dari penampilannya, Namun, tidak semua wanita memahami bentuk tubuh mereka. Wanita memiliki 5 jenis bentuk tubuh dengan kelebihan dan kekurangannya masing-masing. Game Dress-Up merupakan game simulasi yang menjelaskan ciri-ciri bentuk tubuh wanita disertai gambar 2 dimensi. Game ini juga menyediakan model pakaian yang sesuai dengan bentuk tubuh. Game Dress-Up dibuat menggunakan metode Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) dan dioperasikan platform Android.
