Abstract

Cigarettes have become a habit in society and bring negative effects to oneself and those around, one of which is the emergence of various diseases such as heart disease and vascular disorders. The method used in this community empowerment involves Rapid Rural Appraisal (RAA) by conducting physical interventions through several counseling sessions related to smoking issues and non-physical interventions in the form of installing no-smoking banners in homes. This empowerment activity was conducted in RW 04, Yudanagara Village, Cihideung, Tasikmalaya City. The community empowerment activities conducted include outreach and demonstrations as well as the installation of educational banners. The indicators of the success of the outreach are an increase in participants' knowledge through pre-test and post-test by 50% compared to their knowledge level before attending the outreach, as well as the implementation of a herbal drink-making demonstration. The educational banner contains content about the dangers of smoking indoors. The activities carried out were well-planned, and their implementation can be said to have gone smoothly and successfully.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of pricing strategy and service quality on customer satisfaction in contemporary coffee shops. The growth of the modern coffee industry encourages businesses to optimize competitive pricing and quality service to maintain customer loyalty. The research method used was quantitative, with a survey approach using a questionnaire to 100 respondents, customers of contemporary coffee shops. The results showed that pricing strategy had a significant effect on customer satisfaction, while service quality had a stronger influence. The combination of the two contributed positively to increasing customer satisfaction and loyalty. These findings indicate that contemporary coffee businesses need to optimize the alignment of prices with perceived value and improve the quality of frontline service to maintain competitiveness.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas pendekatan psikologis dan komunikatif yang digunakan dalam konten dakwah Kadam Sidik di platform digital, khususnya TikTok. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif melalui wawancara mendalam kepada audiens yang dipilih secara purposive, penelitian ini menelusuri bagaimana gaya komunikasi Kadam Sidik, seperti kelembutan, empati, serta penggunaan bahasa sederhana dan cerita yang relevan, memengaruhi pemahaman dan pengalaman spiritual pendengar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dakwah Kadam Sidik mampu menyentuh aspek emosional audiens, memberikan ketenangan, serta mendorong motivasi untuk berubah dan memperbaiki diri. Banyak pendengar merasakan kedekatan spiritual dengan Allah setelah mengikuti dakwahnya. Selain itu, keteladanan pribadi Kadam Sidik yang dianggap tulus, rendah hati, dan dekat dengan masyarakat turut memperkuat penerimaan pesan dakwah yang disampaikan

Abstract

This study explores the evolving relationship between listening skills and oral fluency within digital learning environments. As language education increasingly integrates multimedia resources, online platforms, and technology-enhanced tools, listening has become a primary channel through which learners acquire the linguistic input essential for fluent spoken production. Drawing on contemporary theories of second language acquisition and a qualitative analysis of recent literature, this article examines how digital listening exposure supports the development of vocabulary, pronunciation accuracy, prosodic features, and discourse organization, all of which contribute to oral fluency. The findings indicate that digital tools provide learners with flexible, personalized, and authentic listening experiences that strengthen cognitive processing and enhance speaking performance. However, challenges such as digital overload, unequal access, and difficulty selecting appropriate materials highlight the need for structured pedagogical guidance. Overall, the study argues that listening must be reconceptualized as a central determinant of oral fluency in the digital era, emphasizing its critical role in shaping effective communicators in modern language learning contexts.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using Talkpal AI on improving Arabic vocabulary mastery among students at Al-Azhar Kelapa Gading Islamic High School. The background of this study is based on the low level of Arabic vocabulary mastery among students, which is caused by the use of learning media that is not interactive enough, thereby impacting students' low motivation to learn. In fact, the school has adequate supporting facilities, such as smart TVs in each classroom, which enable the application of technology-based learning media. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method and a nonequivalent control group design. There were 44 students participating in the study, divided into an experimental class and a control class. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation and Arabic vocabulary tests. The results showed that the average posttest score of the experimental class (32.50) was higher than that of the control class (26.27). The Mann-Whitney test showed a significance value of 0.002 (< 0.05), which means that there is a significant effect of using Talkpal AI on improving students' Arabic vocabulary. Thus, Talkpal.ai is proven to be effective as an artificial intelligence-based learning medium in helping to improve students' mastery of Arabic vocabulary.

Abstract

The European Green Deal is a strategic initiative from the European Union which aims to make the European Union carbon neutral by 2050. One of its main commitments is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 50 to 55 percent by 2030, compared to 1990. The TBT Agreement regulates such that regulations, standards, testing techniques and certification procedures at the domestic level do not constitute obstacles to international trade. Standards in the biofuel trade have an important role in the manufacturing industry, apart from that they greatly influence the sales of a product in national and international markets. The Indonesian government has taken steps to address these environmental concerns through the development and strengthening of Indonesian Sustainable Palm Oil (ISPO) certification. This certification aims to increase sustainability in the palm oil industry by implementing standards that ensure palm oil production is carried out in a way that minimizes environmental impacts, protects peatlands, reduces greenhouse gas emissions, and improves the social conditions of workers and local communities.

Abstract

Era digital memicu fenomena Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) yang mendorong perilaku konsumsi impulsif dan tidak rasional di kalangan Muslim. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis fenomena tersebut melalui perspektif pemikiran etika dan ekonomi Al-Ghazali. Menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif berbasis studi pustaka, penelitian ini menelaah konsep-konsep kunci dalam karya Al-Ghazali seperti Ihya’ Ulumuddin. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa FOMO merupakan manifestasi kegagalan pengendalian hawa nafsu yang bertentangan dengan prinsip maslahah (kemaslahatan) dan al-iqtishad (moderasi). Al-Ghazali menawarkan solusi melalui mujahadah al-nafs (pengendalian diri), qana’ah, dan zuhud untuk mengarahkan konsumsi pada pemenuhan kebutuhan dharuriyyat (primer) daripada sekadar mengikuti tren. Kesimpulannya, pemikiran Al-Ghazali memberikan kerangka spiritual yang relevan untuk mengatasi kecemasan sosial digital dengan menyeimbangkan kebutuhan duniawi dan ukhrawi. Implikasi penelitian ini menegaskan perlunya integrasi nilai-nilai tazkiyatun nafs dalam perilaku ekonomi Muslim modern demi mencapai kesejahteraan sejati (falah).

Abstract

Transformasi digital dalam bidang pendidikan mendorong pendidik untuk mengembangkan proses pembelajaran yang lebih inovatif, interaktif, dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan peserta didik di era modern. Salah satu media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi yang banyak dimanfaatkan dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar adalah WordWall. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan penggunaan media WordWall dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Budi Pekerti di SD Negeri Gabahan Semarang, mengkaji fungsi media tersebut dalam mendukung proses pembelajaran, serta mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mendukung maupun menghambat implementasinya. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian lapangan. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi yang melibatkan kepala sekolah, guru Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Budi Pekerti, serta peserta didik kelas VI sebagai informan penelitian. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis melalui tahap reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan, sedangkan keabsahan data diuji melalui triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media WordWall telah diterapkan secara terstruktur pada setiap tahap pembelajaran, mulai dari kegiatan pendahuluan, kegiatan inti, hingga kegiatan penutup. Media ini berfungsi sebagai sarana penyampaian materi, media latihan, sekaligus instrumen evaluasi pembelajaran. Kehadiran WordWall mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar, partisipasi, serta antusiasme peserta didik selama mengikuti proses pembelajaran. Faktor pendukung implementasi WordWall meliputi ketersediaan sarana pembelajaran yang memadai dan kompetensi guru dalam memanfaatkan teknologi pendidikan. Adapun faktor penghambatnya antara lain keterbatasan jaringan internet dan terbatasnya fitur yang tersedia pada akun WordWall versi gratis. Secara umum, penggunaan WordWall memberikan kontribusi positif dalam menciptakan pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Budi Pekerti yang lebih aktif, menarik, dan bermakna. Abstract

Abstract: This study is motivated by the importance of examining Japanese sign language (shuwa) as a means of communication for the deaf, as depicted in the popular anime Yubisaki to Renren. This study aims to describe the use of shuwa by the character Itose Yuki in the anime Yubisaki to Renren, specifically in episodes 4–7, and to analyze the meaning of its use in the context of communication using a qualitative descriptive method with a pragmatic analysis, particularly focusing on illocutionary acts. The results of the study indicate the presence of 19 illocutionary acts, comprising 2 assertive illocutionary acts, 6 directive illocutionary acts, 2 commissive illocutionary acts, 6 expressive illocutionary acts, and 3 declarative illocutionary acts. Based on the research results, it is evident that the use of “shuwa” by the character Itose Yuki appears in various communicative situations, whether to convey information, express feelings, or build interpersonal relationships with the interlocutor. Furthermore, Yuki’s use of “shuwa” does not merely function as a communication tool but also serves as a crucial device in character development, reinforcing moral messages, and advancing the plot.
