Abstract

This research aims to develop teaching materials based on differentiated learning to improve critical thinking dimensions of the Pancasila Learner Profile for students in elementary schools. This research uses the Design and Development (D&D) method using the ADDIE model, which consists of five stages, i.e., analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research participants comprised grade 3 elementary school students, material experts, media experts, and learning experts. The data collection techniques used in this study were filling out work logs, testing expert validation, and learner assessments. The analysis used in this research is qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The results of this study are teaching materials in three series, namely visual series, audio series, and kinesthetic series. The study results were teaching materials obtained a validation assessment with an outstanding category. Then, to test the effectiveness of N-Gain, the results showed effectiveness in the moderate category. Thus, Teachers can utilize this differentiated teaching material to teach the material and develop students' critical thinking skills in learning IPAS in elementary school.

Abstract

This research aims to develop digital comics media to increase students’ cultural and citizenship literacy based on Education for Sustainable Development (ESD). This research used the design and development research method with the ADDIE model, which includes five research stages: design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Participants in this research were material experts, media experts, learning experts, and fourth-grade elementary school students. Data collection techniques were carried out using expert validation and tests. Data was analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The expert validation results from the three experts are categorized as excellent. The N-Gain result of students' cultural literacy and citizenship is 0.75 in the high category. The digital comic media developed was feasible and could be used by educators and students as a learning medium for cultural diversity material to increase cultural literacy and citizenship for Elementary School students.

Abstract

Keterampilan menulis menjadi salah satu keterampilan berbahasa yang penting dan harus dikuasai oleh siswa Sekolah Dasar. Dengan menulis siswa dapat mengembangkan kemampuan berkomunikasi, berpikir kritis, serta berpikir kreatif. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui perkembangan literatur keterampilan menulis siswa Sekolah Dasar dalam rentang tahun 2013-2023 dan juga untuk mengetahui solusi alternatif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menulis siswa Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan tinjauan literatur sistematis dengan menggunakan metode PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis) dan analisis bibliometrik. Diperoleh 136 artikel yang berhubungan dengan keterampilan menulis siswa Sekolah Dasar. Artikel-artikel berasal dari database Google Scholar yang dikumpulkan dari aplikasi perangkat lunak Publish or Perish (PoP) dan divisualisasikan dengan bantuan aplikasi Vosviewer. Hasil temuan menunjukkan bahwa penelitian bidang keterampilan menulis siswa Sekolah Dasar dalam rentang tahun 2013-2023 bersifat fluktuatif dan banyak dipublikasikan pada jurnal Didaktika Dwija Indria. Subtopik yang sering diteliti dalam bidang keterampilan menulis adalah model pembelajaran. Permasalahan yang sering terjadi pada keterampilan menulis siswa Sekolah Dasar terdapat pada aspek organisasi isi tulisan, tata dan gaya bahasa, struktur dan kosa kata, serta ejaan dan tanda baca. Model pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis siswa Sekolah Dasar yaitu model picture and picture, model TTW, model example non example, model make a match, serta model PAKEM. Dan media pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis yaitu media gambar, powerpoint interaktif, puzzle, serta media pop-up. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan kesimpulan, maka rekomendasi ditujukan kepada peneliti selanjutnya untuk meneliti lebih dalam dan luas lagi, khususnya pada kajian upaya dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menulis siswa Sekolah Dasar.

Abstract

Konsep pecahan menghadirkan tantangan yang terus-menerus bagi siswa sekolah dasar, terutama karena sifatnya yang abstrak. Studi ini mengklasifikasikan jenis media pembelajaran yang digunakan, mengevaluasi efektivitasnya, dan mengidentifikasi tantangan implementasi melalui metode Tinjauan Pustaka Sistematis (SLR). Sintesis menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran terbagi dalam lima kategori: manipulatif konkret, kartu dan permainan, visual, digital, dan kontekstual. Manipulatif konkret dan permainan edukatif secara konsisten meningkatkan pemahaman konseptual, karena selaras dengan tahap operasional konkret siswa. Namun demikian, implementasinya terhambat oleh keterbatasan infrastruktur, kurangnya kesiapan pedagogis guru, dan kendala yang berkaitan dengan konteks budaya dan lingkungan belajar. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa efektivitas media pembelajaran tidak hanya bergantung pada jenis media tetapi juga pada integrasi keterlibatan guru dan ketersediaan sumber daya sekolah.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the fact that fourth-grade elementary school students often have difficulty understanding the concepts of needs and wants, as well as the value of currency and its functions. The purpose of this study was to develop teaching materials based on Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) for fourth-grade elementary school students. The methodology used in this development is the Design and Development (D&D) model with the ADDIE approach, which includes: (1) Analyze, analyzing students' needs, learning outcomes, financial literacy indicators, materials, and the CTL approach; (2) Design, designing the initial teaching materials and creating a validation questionnaire; (3) Development, developing the design into a complete teaching material, conducting validation, and revising the teaching material; (4) Implementation, testing the teaching material on students; and (5) Evaluation, reflecting on the success of the teaching material. Data collection techniques in this study used questionnaires and tests. The data analysis techniques used were qualitative and quantitative. The teaching materials were organised into two parts: needs and desires (KEKIN), and understanding the value of currency and its functions (UANG PINTAR). The research results indicate that the instructional materials received a validation rating in the “Highly Suitable” category. Students' financial literacy improved significantly based on post-test results. This study concludes that the “KEUKEU” instructional materials are highly suitable for fourth-grade elementary school students and can enhance their financial literacy

Abstract

Listening skills are one of the four most important language skills. This study aims to map the development of research on listening skills in elementary school students from 2015 to 2025 through a bibliometric approach and a systematic literature review. Data was obtained from Google Scholar using the Publish or Perish application with the PRISMA selection technique, resulting in 42 articles that met the criteria. Bibliometric analysis was conducted using VOSviewer to identify publication trends, subtopic density, productive authors, most cited articles, and dominant journals. The research findings indicate that the main focus of the study is on listening skills and learning media, with a dominance of audio-visual and video media usage. Factors affecting listening skills learning problems include internal and external aspects. Additionally, eight learning models, two teaching methods, and seven digital and four non-digital media were found to be effective in improving listening skills. This finding provides a comprehensive overview of research directions and serves as the basis for developing listening comprehension instruction in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study used the D&D method proposed by Richey and Klein, whereby the media development process included the stages of needs analysis, design, prototype development, implementation, and evaluation. Validation was carried out by three validators, namely subject matter experts, media experts, and learning experts. The validation results showed that the media was very suitable for use, with validation scores of 92.5% (material), 92.86% (media), and 95.56% (learning). A limited trial was conducted with 18 fifth-grade students and showed an increase in their understanding of earthquake mitigation. The students' average score increased from 54.97% on the pre-test to 84.59 on the post-test. The use of the Explosion Box media not only made learning more interesting, but also helped students understand earthquake mitigation material in a contextual and in-depth manner. Earthquake mitigation learning is very important for elementary school students, especially in earthquake-prone areas, so that students can improve their preparedness when an earthquake occurs.

Abstract

Pentingnya siswa memiliki kreativitas terletak pada kemampuan mereka untuk berpikir inovatif dan mengatasi tantangan, sehingga upaya di tingkat SD untuk meningkatkan kreativitas sangatlah esensial agar siswa dapat mengembangkan potensi ini sejak dini. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah memberikan pengetahuan tentang model, metode, media serta games dalam pembelajaran yang dapat diaplikasikan oleh guru guna meningkatkan kreativitas siswa Sekolah Dasar. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode SPAR-4-SLR (Scientific Procedures and Rationales for Systematic Literature Reviews). Basis data yang digunakan adalah google schoolar. Aplikasi untuk menggambarkan data visualisasi peneliti menggunakan vosviewer.  Berdasarkan 54 artikel terpilih, peneliti mengidentifikasi berbagai model, metode, media serta permainan dalam pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan kreativitas siswa sekolah Dasar. Model pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan adalah PJBL, kooperatif tipe picture and picture, Problem Based Learning (PBL), Creative Problem Solving (CrPS), RADEC, SAVI, experiential learning, Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL), dan talking stick. Lalu metode yang dapat digunakan mind mapping, STEAM, inkuiri terbimbing, dan LSQ (Learning Start With Question). Lalu Penggunaan media pembelajaran visual, audio-visual, dan multimedia. Serta permainan dalam pembelajaran seperti tangram, playdough, dan ludo dapat meningkatkan kreativitas peserta didik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan kesimpulan, peneliti selanjutnya disarankan mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif yang lebih menarik untuk meningkatkan kreativitas siswa sekolah dasar. Efforts to improve the creativity of elementary school students: A systematic literature review and bibliometric analysis Abstract: The importance of students having creativity lies in their ability to think innovatively and overcome challenges, making efforts at the elementary school level to enhance creativity, which is essential for developing this potential from an early age. The goal of this research is to provide knowledge about models, methods, media, and games in education that teachers can apply to enhance elementary school students' creativity. This study employs the SPAR-4-SLR (Scientific Procedures and Rationales for Systematic Literature Reviews) method. The database used is Google Scholar, and Vosviewer is utilized for data visualization. Based on 54 selected articles, the researcher identified various models, methods, media, and games in education that can enhance elementary students' creativity. Based on the research findings and conclusions, future researchers are recommended to develop more interactive and engaging educational media to further enhance elementary school students' creativity.

Abstract

This qualitative descriptive research aims to explore teachers’ perceptions and preparedness for implementing the IPAS learning approach in the context of the MC. The subjects of this study were 87 elementary school teachers in Bekasi District who were selected through a purposive random sampling technique. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The collected data were then analyzed using interactive qualitative data analysis techniques, including data collection, presentation, and conclusions drawing. The results show that teacher readiness in the curriculum structure understanding is 24% in the high category, 69% medium, and 7% low. In lesson plan aspect, 27% are in the high category, 67% medium, and 6% low category. In the aspect of understanding of differentiated learning, 32% are in the high category, 55% medium, and 13% low. In terms of understanding of P5, 24% are in the high category, 63% medium, and 13% low. Regarding understanding of the Merdeka Mengajar platform, 18% in high category, 44% medium, and 38% low. Teachers' understanding regarding the IPAS assessment are 55% in the high category, 42% medium, and 3% low. Teachers are quite ready to organize science learning in MC implementation and show positive perception.

Abstract

Di tengah memburuknya kerusakan lingkungan dan tantangan sosial, Pendidikan untuk Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (Education for Sustainable Development - ESD) menjadi sarana untuk memberdayakan peserta didik dalam menghadapi isu-isu yang saling terkait. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul ajar yang berjudul “Aku Generasi Peduli Bumi: Modul Ajar IPAS Fase C Materi Letak Geografis Indonesia Berbasis ESD untuk menunjang ketercapaian SDGs 15 Life on Land”. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Design and Development (D&D) dengan tahapan analisis, desain, pengembangan, dan evaluasi. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mengisi work log dan melalui validasi ahli serta analisis data dilakukan secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini menghasilkan modul ajar yang memfasilitasi domain kognitif, sosial, dan perilaku. Selain itu, modul ajar ini juga memfasilitasi pembelajaran berbasis ESD dengan mengintegrasikan SDGs 15 Life on Land. Modul ajar ini telah divalidasi dengan hasil dalam kategori sangat baik. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul ajar “Aku Generasi Peduli Bumi Berbasis ESD untuk Menunjang Ketercapaian SDGs 15 Life on Land” dapat digunakan pada pembelajaran IPAS Fase C dalam kurikulum merdeka.
