Abstract

Campus C of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University does not yet have adequate pedestrian facilities and crossing facilities at the main gate are not yet available so that the analysis of pedestrian facilities and crossing facilities is carried out with the aim of knowing the types of pedestrian facilities and road crossing facilities needed and making pedestrian facility designs that use the concept of active living. Campus C of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University is located on Jalan Ciwaru Raya No. 25, Cipare, Serang City. Data collection was conducted using direct observation method. The data collected included pedestrian volume, traffic volume, crosswalk volume, and road geometric data. The results showed that the recommended crossing facility for segment 1 on Jalan Ki Ajurum No. 2 is a zebra crossing with waiting stalls with a maximum PV2 result of 1748717534 (1 × 109). While for segment 2 on Jalan Ciwaru Raya No. 25 is a zebra crossing with a maximum PV2 result of 1615465208 (1 × 109). The recommended effective width of sidewalks within Campus C of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University is divided into 2 sizes, namely 2 meters and 2.5 meters. Complementary facilities that support the concept of active living that can be recommended are by providing seating, lighting, shading in the form of trees, trash bins, drinking water taps at several points, and special paths for people with disabilities.

Abstract

This study evaluates the quality of urban transportation services on the Cilegon – Bojonegara route using the servqual method, which assesses the gap between passenger perception and expectations on five service dimensions. Data was obtained through questionnaires and field observations. The results of the study showed that all dimensions had a negative gap, with an average perception of 3.184 and an expectation of 4.005 The largest gap was in the guarantee dimension with a gap value of -0.960, followed by physical evidence, empathy and reliability. Meanwhile, responsiveness has the smallest gap with a value of -0.663. This indicates that the city's transportation services have not met passenger expectations, especially related to passenger comfort and safety, drivers drive recklessly. Recommendations for improvement include improving the quality of city transportation safety by optimizing driving speed to stay safe and not reckless, Improving the timeliness and clarity of the route by optimizing travel time so that it is not delayed, providing clearer routes and routes to passengers. The improvements are expected to improve service quality and customer satisfaction.

Abstract

The Tangerang–Merak Toll Road section from KM 71+000 to KM 77+000 in the direction of Jakarta plays an important role in the distribution of industries from Anyer, Cilegon, and surrounding areas. However, the high volume of ODOL (Over Dimension Over Load) vehicles causes excessive loads exceeding the pavement’s design capacity, accelerating damage, reducing design life, increasing maintenance costs, and endangering safety. An analysis is needed to determine the impact of excessive loads on pavement design life on this section. This study aims to determine traffic volume and analyze the impact of overloaded vehicles on pavement design life using the AASHTO 1993 and MDPJ 2024 methods for VDF calculations. Data from the 2024 LHR shows a total of 8,090,694 vehicles, consisting of 97.71% normal vehicles and 2.29% overloaded vehicles. The VDF values for normal vehicles in categories 1–5 are 1.86; 1.83; 1.68; 2.58; and 1.45. Meanwhile, the VDF for overloaded vehicles is 1.86; 1.95; 16.10; 3.03; and 1.96. Class 3 vehicles tend to be overloaded, resulting in a high VDF. The design life of the road with normal vehicles is 5 years (truck factor 1.46), but it decreases to 2.275 years due to overloading (truck factor 3.55). Overloading and uneven distribution accelerate damage and reduce the road’s design life. Simulations of 5%, 10%, and 15% increases in overloaded vehicles reduce design life to 2.176; 2.087; and 2.005 years, respectively. This demonstrates that overloaded vehicles significantly impact the reduction of road design life.

Abstract

Program revitalisasi Sekolah Luar Biasa merupakan upaya pemerintah dalam meningkatkan kualitas sarana dan prasarana pendidikan inklusif. Dalam pelaksanaannya, satuan pendidikan sering menghadapi keterbatasan dalam melakukan pengendalian mutu dan monitoring pekerjaan konstruksi. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan pendampingan terhadap pelaksanaan rehabilitasi ruang kelas dan pembangunan toilet di SKh Al Khairiyah Cilegon dalam program revitalisasi SLB. Metode yang digunakan adalah observasi lapangan secara berkala, verifikasi kesesuaian pekerjaan terhadap dokumen perencanaan, serta penyusunan rekomendasi teknis. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan pekerjaan berjalan dengan baik dan cenderung lebih cepat dibandingkan rencana. Meskipun demikian, masih ditemukan beberapa ketidaksesuaian teknis seperti pemasangan elemen aksesibilitas yang belum sesuai standar serta kualitas finishing yang belum optimal. Pendampingan yang dilakukan mampu membantu pihak sekolah dalam mengidentifikasi permasalahan serta melakukan perbaikan secara langsung.

Abstract

Pembangunan Jalan Tol Serang–Panimbang ditujukan untuk meningkatkan aksesibilitas kawasan selatan Provinsi Banten yang memiliki potensi pariwisata dan ekonomi tinggi, namun masih terkendala oleh waktu tempuh yang panjang serta keterbatasan kapasitas jaringan jalan eksisting. Penelitian ini bertujuan melakukan pra-studi kelayakan pembangunan jalan bebas hambatan Serang–Panimbang melalui kajian terintegrasi aspek teknis, transportasi, geoteknik, perkerasan, serta ekonomi dan finansial sebagai dasar penentuan kelayakan proyek. Metodologi yang digunakan meliputi pengumpulan data primer berupa survei lalu lintas (traffic counting), survei kecepatan perjalanan, survei topografi, serta pengujian geoteknik menggunakan Dynamic Cone Penetrometer (DCP) dan CBR, serta data sekunder dari instansi terkait. Analisis dilakukan berdasarkan ketentuan PKJI 2023, pedoman Bina Marga, dan standar perencanaan teknis jalan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa proyeksi volume lalu lintas, termasuk diverted traffic dan induced traffic, mendukung kebutuhan pembangunan jalan bebas hambatan. Perencanaan geometrik dan evaluasi geoteknik menunjukkan trase memenuhi persyaratan keselamatan dan kelayakan konstruksi, sedangkan struktur perkerasan kaku tipe Jointed Plain Concrete Pavement (JPCP) dinilai sesuai dengan beban lalu lintas rencana dan kondisi tanah dasar. Analisis ekonomi-finansial menunjukkan manfaat signifikan berupa efisiensi waktu perjalanan, penurunan biaya operasional kendaraan, peningkatan akses kawasan wisata Tanjung Lesung, serta dampak positif terhadap pertumbuhan wilayah. Secara keseluruhan, pembangunan Jalan Tol Serang–Panimbang dinilai layak untuk dilanjutkan ke tahap perencanaan teknis detail.
