Abstract

The era of artificial intelligence (AI) presents challenges as well as opportunities for the development of 21st century student literacy. ChatGPT as a form of generative AI can be used as a digital literacy medium that is able to facilitate access to information, expand insights, and foster a reading culture. This article aims to analyze reading habituation strategies by utilizing ChatGPT optimally and identify opportunities and risks that arise in the context of academic literacy. The research method used is qualitative descriptive with a case study approach through interviews with students and lecturers. The results of the discussion show that ChatGPT can function as a literacy facilitator, especially as an entrance to understanding initial concepts before students deepen with credible academic reading. However, there are risks such as dependence, low information verification, and reduced critical thinking skills when used passively. Therefore, the optimization of ChatGPT must be directed at critical, evaluative, and creative reading habits so that students are able to develop digital literacy competencies in a balanced manner. In conclusion, reading habituation by utilizing ChatGPT in the AI era can be an effective strategy to form a literacy generation that is productive, adaptive, and ready to face the challenges of the 21st century.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of Islamic communication ethics in social media content, especially through the analysis of Felix Siauw's social experiment on Instagram related to the polemic of the use of the OnePiece flag as a protest symbol for the Indonesian youth ahead of the 80th Independence Day in August 2025. Using a qualitative method with a literature study approach and thematic content analysis, this study reveals how the principles of Islamic communication such as qaulan sadidan (correct speech), qaulan layyina (gentle speech), qaulan maysura (easy to understand speech), and qaulan kariman (noble speech) can be applied in responding to controversial popular cultural phenomena in the digital space. The results of the study show that Islamic communication ethics are able to transform controversial symbols into a constructive educational medium through moderate, dialogical, and contextual communication strategies. Felix Siauw succeeded in applying the principles of tabayyun (clarification) and wisdom (wisdom) in reducing tension while building the audience's critical awareness of the value of justice. The dynamics of public response on social media reflect the complexity of digital interactions that require an inclusive communication approach to prevent polarization and hate speech. This research confirms that Islamic communication in the digital age not only serves as a moral guide, but also as a strategic instrument for managing complex public discourse. The application of ethical principles in social media has the potential to strengthen social harmony, educate the public, and maintain the integrity of digital interactions within the framework of Islamic values, especially in the face of popular cultural phenomena that have the potential to trigger controversy.

Abstract

The digital era presents new challenges and opportunities in education, particularly in developing students' critical thinking skills, especially in Islamic education. This study aims to discuss effective educational strategies based on technology to enhance critical thinking abilities within the context of Islamic Education. The research approach used is a literature review that analyzes various relevant theories and best practices. The findings indicate that the integration of technology in learning, such as the use of interactive discussion-based apps, online learning platforms, and computer-based simulations, can improve students' analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities in the context of Islamic education. This strategy also involves designing collaborative, contextual, and problem-solving-oriented learning activities. The conclusion is that the wise use of technology in learning not only improves the quality of education but also prepares students to face complex challenges in the digital era.

Abstract

The curriculum is a planned and implemented program aimed at achieving specific goals. Therefore, learning management in education requires a concept that functions as a tool capable of adapting to the evolving times. This study analyzes the design of the Islamic Education curriculum, including its definition, components, and characteristics. The research method employed is library research. The findings reveal that the curriculum includes detailed management of learning, such as the types of educational materials, suggestions for teaching strategies, program development for effective implementation, and other activities aimed at achieving the desired objectives. In designing an Islamic Education curriculum based on learning management, several aspects must be considered, including alignment with the inclusive nature of humanity, accommodating the interests of the Muslim community, being realistic, comprehensive, and sustainable.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan metode 3T+1M dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca dan menghafal Al Qur’an di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Muhammadiyah 12 Palirangan Solokuro. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif, yang mengambil lokasi di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Muhammadiyah 12 Palirangan Solokuro, data dan sumber penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara memperoleh data dengan cara instrumen yaitu: wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yakni reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa : 1). Penerapan metode 3T+1M cukup efektif melalui empat teknik yaitu ustadzah membacakan siswa mengikuti lalu ustadzah mendikte bacaan siswa, memahami arti, mengulang bacaan hingga hafal, mengulang ulang hafalan 2). Faktor faktor pendukung dan penghambat penerapan metode 3T+1M sebagai berikut : faktor pendukung, ustadzah yang konsisten meskipun jumlahnya terbatas, teman yang rajin meskipun sebagian masih ada yang malas. Faktor penghambat, keterbatasan waktu dan kondisi siswa yang meliputi malas, melemahnya semangat dan lemahnya daya ingat.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan salah satu pengembangan melalui belajar tanpa adanya sekat. dalam undang-undang No 20 Tahun 2003 sistem pendidikan Nasional yang berfungsi mengembangkan kemampuan dan membentuk watak serta peradaban bangsa yang bermartabat dalam mencerdaskan kehidupan bangsa. Tujuan pendidikan tersebut secara tidak langsung sudah jelas menggambarkan bagaimana urgensitas pendidikan dalam mencetak anak untuk menghadapi tantangan global sekarang. Berdasarkan jenis datanya peneletian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian kualitatif merupakan penelitian yang dimana menghasilkan segala bentuk penemuan yang tidak bisa dicapai dengan menggunakan tata cara statistik ataupun dengan menggunakan cara kuantifikasi lainnya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dengan judul gerakan literasi sekolah anak usia dini untuk meningkatkan aspek perkembangan bahasa anak di TK Harapan Bunda. Bahwa penelitian ini didasarkan pada teori clay dan freguson dalam desain induk gerakan literasi menyatakan bahwa literasi dini merupakan kemampuan menyimak, memahami bahasa lisan dan komunikasi melalui gambar dan lisan yang dibentuk oleh 1pengalamannya saat berinteraksi dengan lingkungan sosialnya. Sebaiknya wali murid mendukung penuh serta berperan aktif dalam penyelenggaraan kegiatan gerakan literasi sekolah anak usia dini Maka dengan mengadakan seminar literasi anak usia dini sangatlah penting guna untuk memberikan edukasi terkait betapa pentingnya gerakan literasi sekolah untuk anak usia dini yang nantinya akan berdampak pada anak hingga anak dewasa.

Abstract

The digital transformation of the globalization era has accelerated the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into education as a tool for adaptive, efficient, and data-driven learning innovation. AI enables personalized learning, faster evaluation, and broader access to education, but its integration raises ethical challenges such as algorithmic bias, data privacy risks, technology dependency, and the potential dehumanization of learning relationships. This study aims to analyze the ethical challenges of using AI in global education and formulate an ethical framework grounded in spirituality and religious moderation. This study uses a qualitative desk research approach through content analysis of scientific literature and policy documents from the past decade. The findings indicate that while AI increases efficiency and inclusivity, its implementation requires strengthening moral responsibility, justice, and respect for human dignity. Spirituality and religious moderation serve as guiding principles for developing an inclusive and humanistic AI-based education model.
