Abstract

The process of labor, especially the second stage of increased contraction in the uterine muscle that causes decreased blood supply and oxygen needed by muscles to convert glucose into energy. Anaerobic metabolism usually occurs in activities that require large energy and briefly.This study to analyze differences in energy intake in mothers giving birth between those who were given mixed juice and those who were given the freedom to consume food and beverages during labor. This study uses randomized controlled trial design, single blinded. There was a significant difference in control group energy intake and intervention group (p <0.05). Giving mixed juice during delivery in maternal mothers affects maternal satisfaction and the difference of maternal energy intake, but there is no difference in lactate levels of infants born.

Abstract

Anemia is a major public health problem in the world with the highest prevalence in developing countries. Anemia of 80-90% occurs in preschoolers and girls. The prevalence of anemia in adolescent girls (5-14 years) is 26.7% and aged 15-24 years is 18.4%. This study is a quantitative study, with a cross sectional design that aims to determine the relationship of nutritional knowledge to the incidence of anemia in adolescent girls in SMP Negeri 13 Kota Jambi. Knowledge data collection using a questionnaire and the incidence of anemia is known through hemoglobin examination using Easy Touch GHb. 50 research subjects were selected by proportional random sampling. This study was analyzed using the chi square statistical test. The results of the study there is a relationship between knowledge of nutrition to the incidence of anemia in adolescent girls in SMP Negeri 13 Kota Jambi (p-value = 0.035 <alpha 0.05). From the results of this study it is expected that the SMP Negeri 13 collaborates with the Tahtul Yaman Public Health Center in providing education through counseling to increase knowledge about balanced nutrition diets for girls.

Abstract

 ABSTRACTAnxiety and fear experienced by the mother, especially primipara, can prolong the duration of labor and increase the incidence of labor by action, namely labor with cesarean section. Mental health including pregnancy anxiety has been proven to be reduced or eliminated through physical exercise. One of the recommended physical exercises is yoga because it is easy to do and is very beneficial for physical fitness and psychology. Yoga in pregnancy is more effective in reducing anxiety and depression. This study aims to describe the knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women about prenatal yoga. Quantitative research design. The subjects in this study were pregnant women trimester I, II and III in the working area of the Putri Ayu Public Health Center in Jambi. Research subjects were given questionnaires to measure the knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women regarding Prenatal Gentle Yoga. The study was conducted in the working area of the Putri Ayu Public Health Center in Jambi. The data collected was analyzed univariately. The results of the study revealed that 32 mothers who took classes in pregnant women in the working area of Putri Ayu Health Center had less knowledge about prenatal gentle yoga, namely 18 mothers (56.2%) and had a positive attitude of 25 mothers (78%). It is recommended for health workers to provide information about some of the development activities that pregnant women can do to provide comfort during pregnancy, for example with prenatal gentle yoga.

Abstract

Pregnancy is a period that is eagerly awaited by mothers. In conditions of pregnancy there are hormonal and physiological changes. The changes that occur are expected to be carried out by pregnant women in order to have a comfortable pregnancy. Sleep disturbance is one of the complaints that occurs during pregnancy, the complaint is caused by various physiological, hormonal, vascular and metabolic changes. Empirical studies show that up to 25% of pregnant women report significant sleep disturbances in the first trimester, with rates rising to 75% in the first trimester. third trimester. Overcoming sleep disorders during pregnancy can be done in various ways in order to stabilize good sleep quality, such as determining a good and comfortable sleeping position while sleeping, basic relaxation exercises, one of which is pregnancy exercise. This study aims to determine the relationship between pregnancy exercise and sleep duration of pregnant women. Quantitative research design. The subjects in this study were pregnant women in their third trimester at Puskesmas Putri Ayu Jambi City. The subjects of the study were seen the length of sleep for pregnant women before doing pregnancy exercise and the length of sleep for pregnant women after participating in pregnancy exercise classes. The research was conducted at the Putri Ayu Health Center, Jambi City. The collected data will be analyzed univariately. It is hoped that the results of this study can be used as a source of information for pregnant women about physiological changes during pregnancy and can overcome complaints of difficulty sleeping by doing pregnancy exercise.Keywords: exercise for pregnancy, pregnant women,  sleep duration

Abstract

According to the recommendations of the Balanced Nutrition Guidelines, people aged >10 years are advised to consume 3-5 portions of vegetables or fruit or the equivalent of 250 grams per day and 2-3 portions of fruit or the equivalent of 150 grams per day. Lack of fruit and vegetable consumption can cause degenerative diseases such as obesity, diabetes, hypertension, high blood pressure and cancer. Lack of consumption of fruit and vegetables can result in various impacts, namely decreased immunity, such as getting flu easily, easily experiencing stress or depression, high blood pressure, digestive disorders such as constipation, bleeding gums, mouth ulcers, eye problems, wrinkled skin, arthritis, osteoporosis, acne, excess blood cholesterol, and cancer. Pineapple is a plant containing phenolic phytochemicals such as phenolic acids, flavonoids, tannins, lignin and non-phenolics such as carotenoids and vitamin C which have antioxidant and anticarcinogenic abilities. This research aims to determine the e-booklet about the use of pineapple as an antioxidant to increase the knowledge of young women. This research was carried out in September 2022 - August 2023. The subjects in this research were class III students at MAN 1 Muaro Jambi with a sample of 28 female students. This research method provides a questionnaire before and after the counseling is given. The research results showed that the e-booklet had the effect of increasing teenagers' knowledge about pineapple as an anti-oxidant to increase immunity with a p-value <0.001 with an increase in knowledge of 61%. The conclusion of this research was that the E-booklet had the effect of increasing teenagers' knowledge about pineapple as an antioxidant to increase immunity. It is hoped that young women can use e-booklets as reading material to increase knowledge about the use of pineapple as an antioxidant.

Abstract

Anemia in adolescents is caused by several factors including low intake or entry of iron and other nutrients into the body such as vitamin A, vitamin C, folate, riboflavin, B12, and errors in consuming iron, for example when consuming iron together with other substances that can interfere with the iron absorption process. Pineapple (Ananas) is included in the Bromeliaceae family and is one of the fruits that can increase iron absorption in the intestine. Pineapple plants have long been cultivated by farmers in Jambi Province, this plant is cultivated on a commercial scale in Tangkit village, Muaro Jambi Regency. This study aims to determine the increase in knowledge of adolescent girls about the use of pineapple fruit with an analytical research design. The population in this study were adolescent girls with a sample of 30 female students at MAN 1 Muaro Jambi, selected using a proportional random sampling technique. An increase in adolescent knowledge was obtained by 58% and there was a significant effect of the use of booklets in increasing adolescent knowledge about the use of pineapple fruit for anemia prevention with a p value of 0.001 (CI 5%). The output of this research is in the form of increased knowledge, articles in nationally accredited journals and Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) booklets which are used as media for this research.

Abstract

Adolescence is a transition period of secondary physical and sexual growth, one of which is menstruation. The prevalence of menstrual pain in Indonesia reaches 98.8% in adolescence. Menstrual pain affects daily activities both physically and emotionally. Non-pharmacological therapy is often used to treat dysmenorrhoea because it is safe, easy to obtain and has no side effects, one of which is pineapple. Pineapples contain the enzyme bromelain which provides analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects to relieve dysmenorrhoea. E-booklet is an educational media that contains writing and images combined to make it interesting for readers. This study aims to determine effect of e-booklet about pineapple for treating dysmenorrhoea on increasing the knowledge of adolescence girls in MAN 1 Muaro Jambi. This research is a quasi-experimental research with a one group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were all adolescence girls in MAN 1 Muaro Jambi, with a total sample of 27 adolescence girls, using proportional random sampling techniques. Data was collected using online questionnaire March 2023. Data collected was analyzed using the T-Test. Results showed that there was an effect of e-booklet about pineapple to overcome dysmenorrhoea on increasing the knowledge of adolescence girls. It is hoped that adolescence girls can use e-booklet an educational media.
