Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji konsep al-'adl (keadilan) dalam perspektif Al-Qur'an dengan menggunakan pendekatan tematik. Keadilan merupakan salah satu nilai fundamental dalam ajaran Islam yang memiliki urgensi tinggi dalam kehidupan individual maupun sosial. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif-kualitatif dengan pendekatan tafsir tematik terhadap ayat-ayat Al-Qur'an yang berkaitan dengan konsep keadilan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Al-Qur'an menggunakan dua term utama untuk mengungkapkan konsep keadilan, yaitu al-'adl dan al-qisth. Meskipun keduanya memiliki makna tekstual yang sama yakni "keadilan", namun secara kontekstual memiliki perbedaan mendasar. Term al-'adl dengan arti dasar "sama rata" (السوية) lebih umum cakupannya dan digunakan untuk hal-hal yang dapat dicapai dengan mata batin seperti persoalan hukum, sedangkan al-qisth dengan arti dasar "lurus" (استقامة) digunakan untuk objek yang lebih terukur dan indrawi seperti takaran dan timbangan. Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi empat makna keadilan menurut Al-Qur'an: (1) adil dalam arti "sama", (2) adil dalam arti "seimbang", (3) adil dalam arti "perhatian terhadap hak-hak individu", dan (4) adil dalam arti "dinisbatkan kepada Ilahi". Prinsip-prinsip keadilan yang dituntut dalam kehidupan meliputi berlaku adil dalam timbangan dan ucapan, berlaku adil dalam kesaksian, dan berlaku adil terhadap lawan sekalipun. Penegakan keadilan memiliki urgensi tinggi karena bertujuan menciptakan kesejahteraan yang luas melalui pemeliharaan martabat kemanusiaan.

Abstract

Studies of isti‘ārah in balāghah often limit themselves to formal definitions and classifications, so that its rhetorical function and role in interpreting the Qur’an have not been comprehensively explored. Previous studies generally treat isti‘ārah as a linguistic ornament, without linking it deeply to the formation of meaning and spiritual messages in verses. This weakness prompted this study to present an approach that emphasizes the integration between the structure of isti‘ārah and its rhetorical function in the interpretation of the Qur'an. The purpose of this study is to explain the concept, form, and function of isti‘ārah and its contribution in clarifying meaning, strengthening moral messages, and displaying the beauty of the language of the Qur'an. This study uses a qualitative-descriptive method through literature study and text analysis of Qur'anic verses. The results show that isti‘ārah plays an important role as a pedagogical, rhetorical, and aesthetic medium in the interpretation of the Qur'an. In conclusion, isti‘ārah is a primary instrument for meaning formation, not merely a figure of speech.

Abstract

In addition to containing teachings on faith, worship, and morals, the Quran also presents stories that have educational, persuasive, and transformative functions for human life. These stories are not intended as historical writing in the chronological sense, but rather as a means of preaching to provide guidance, warnings, and admonition. This study aims to examine the meaning, existence, scope, and characteristics of stories in the Quran, focusing on the nature of the stories, their types, their constituent elements, and the purpose of their presentation. This study uses a structural-semiotic approach and structural-functional analysis, placing Quranic verses containing stories as the main text of the study. The results of the discussion indicate that Quranic stories are true events and contain key narrative elements in the form of events, characters, and dialogue, presented in a sophisticated style and rich with symbolic meaning. These stories serve to reinforce religious values, clarify the principles of da'wah (Islamic propagation), provide moral examples, and strengthen belief in the truth of the Quranic message. Thus, the study of Quranic stories is not only important from a religious perspective but is also relevant in literary and linguistic studies as a manifestation of the miraculous nature of the Quranic language. ملخص يحتوي القرآن الكريم، بالإضافة إلى تعاليمه في الإيمان والعبادة والأخلاق، على قصص ذات وظائف تعليمية وإقناعية وتغييرية في حياة الإنسان. هذه القصص ليست سردًا تاريخيًا بالمعنى الزمني، بل هي وسيلة للدعوة والتوجيه والتحذير والنصح. تهدف هذه المقالة إلى دراسة معنى القصص في القرآن الكريم، ووجودها، ونطاقها، وخصائصها، مع التركيز على طبيعتها، وأنواعها، ومكوناتها، والغاية من عرضها. يستخدم هذا البحث المنهج السيميائي البنيوي والتحليل الوظيفي البنيوي، مع اعتبار آيات القرآن الكريم التي تتضمن قصصًا النص الرئيسي للدراسة تشير نتائج المناقشة إلى أن القصص القرآنية أحداثٌ حقيقية، وتحتوي على عناصر سردية أساسية في شكل أحداث وشخصيات وحوار، مُقدَّمة بأسلوبٍ راقٍ وغني بالمعاني الرمزية. تُسهم هذه القصص في ترسيخ القيم الدينية، وتوضيح مبادئ الدعوة، وتقديم الأمثلة الأخلاقية، وتعزيز الإيمان بصدق رسالة القرآن. لذا، فإن دراسة القصص القرآنية لا تقتصر أهميتها على الجانب الديني فحسب، بل تتعداه إلى الدراسات الأدبية واللغوية، باعتبارها تجليًا لطبيعة اللغة القرآنية العجيبة. Abstrak Al-Qur’an selain memuat ajaran akidah, ibadah, dan akhlak, juga menyajikan kisah-kisah yang memiliki fungsi edukatif, persuasif, dan transformatif bagi kehidupan manusia. Kisah-kisah tersebut tidak dimaksudkan sebagai penulisan sejarah dalam arti kronologis, melainkan sebagai sarana dakwah untuk memberikan petunjuk, peringatan, dan i‘tibar. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji makna, eksistensi, cakupan, serta karakteristik kisah dalam Al-Qur’an dengan menitikberatkan pada hakikat kisah, jenis-jenis kisah, unsur-unsur pembentuk, serta tujuan penyajiannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan struktural semiotik dan analisis struktural fungsional dengan menempatkan ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an yang mengandung kisah sebagai teks utama kajian. Hasil pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa kisah Al-Qur’an merupakan peristiwa yang benar-benar terjadi dan memiliki unsur-unsur naratif utama berupa peristiwa, tokoh, dan dialog, yang disajikan dengan gaya bahasa tinggi dan sarat makna simbolik. Kisah-kisah tersebut berfungsi untuk meneguhkan nilai-nilai keimanan, memperjelas prinsip-prinsip dakwah, memberikan keteladanan moral, serta memperkuat keyakinan terhadap kebenaran risalah Al-Qur’an. Dengan demikian, kajian terhadap kisah Al-Qur’an tidak hanya penting dari perspektif keagamaan, tetapi juga relevan dalam kajian sastra dan linguistik sebagai wujud kemukjizatan bahasa Al-Qur’an.

Abstract

This study aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of al-Ihsan in the view of the Koran. The less harmonious relationship in society encourages researchers to conduct research on the concept of al-Ihsan from the perspective of the Koran. The main problem of this research is how is al-Ihsan the perspective of the Qur'an? The main problems, namely 1) What is the nature of al-Ihsan from the perspective of the Koran?; 2) What is the form of al-Ihsan in the study of the Koran?; and what is the urgency of al-Ihsan in the view of the Qur'an? This research is library research or library research that is descriptive qualitative. The sources of data used are verses of the Qur'an, books of interpretation and hadith as well as other scientific books. This research uses a science of interpretation approach with thematic interpretation method (maudu'i). The data obtained were collected and sorted accordingly. The technique of analyzing and presenting data is done by content analysis. From the description and analysis carried out in the research, it is concluded that al-Ihsan from the perspective of the Koran is the best form of human action performed perfectly. Al-Ihsan is a plus (more) value of the best deed done according to its level. The best deeds are carried out both towards God, fellow human beings, and the natural environment. The actualization of ihsan is carried out with knowledge, solemnity, and sincerity and is manifested in the form of his personality integrity. All actions taken will be intended as a form of worship to Allah swt. For humans and other creatures created by Allah, it will provide more benefits and favors than doing justice. All these best deeds will continue to be improved for the sake of self-perfection.

Abstract

This study elaborates the application of semiotic theory in Surah Maryam (Maryam). This study is library research. The library research was conducted through various literature studies related to the problem investigated. The approach used is a semiotic approach. The data sources are divided into two; primary and secondary data. The primary data source is the Qur'an (surah Maryam) and the secondary data sources are books of interpretation, semiotics and linguistics. The data collection is done by quoting, adapting, and analyzing the representative literature and relevant to the problems discussed, then reviewing and concluding. The study results showed three forms of semiotic application in Surah Maryam: first, semiotics of significance from Ferdinand de Saussure's (synchronic-diachronic theory). Second, semiotics of communication from Charles S. Peirce's includes iconic, indexical, and symbolic theories. Third, connotative semiotics from Roland Barthes' which consists of denotative meaning and connotative meaning. This study implies that the semiotic reading of the Qur’an prioritizes the interpretation of the text in a synchronic and diachronic, denotative and connotative way. Hopefully, by this reading, religious and Islamic moderation could be achieved.

Abstract

The Quran, as the holy scripture of the Islamic community, not only provides spiritual guidance but also emphasises the importance of justice in various aspects of life. The research method employed in this study is a qualitative approach with thematic analysis. Several verses of the Quran elucidate the concept of justice, one of which is found in Surah An-Nisa, verse 129, which explains that although a husband may have multiple wives, absolute justice among them is challenging to achieve. The intrinsic nature of Allah as the Most Just reflects that His justice is not influenced by external factors or specific conditions. The active attributes of divine justice focus on Allah's actions and decisions in governing human life. In the context of social relations, justice encompasses equal treatment of all individuals regardless of their background, social status, or wealth. The divine justice taught in the Quran serves not only as a moral guideline but also as a foundation for the formulation of public policies and improved social systems. It is essential for Muslims to continuously explore and comprehend the principles of justice in the Quran and to apply them in their daily lives.
