Abstract

Organizational communication is the delivery of various messages concerned with the organization. A communication pattern is a way of conveying or sending information from the sender to the recipient and can be understood. The Islamic Student Association (HMI) is an extra-campus organization located throughout Indonesia, where HMI continues to strive to produce professional people and contribute to Indonesia. By continuing to provide brilliant ideas and being able to answer various kinds of problems. This study aims to find out the pattern of organizational communication in the Islamic Student Association and how to build the widest possible relationship. The results of this study are that HMI uses a circle communication pattern where this communication pattern is in accordance with the nature of HMI, namely being independent, both ethical independence and organizational independence. On the other hand, this research shows how HMI cadres can have many relationships so that in building easy access.

Abstract

The disparity in educational quality between urban and rural areas in Indonesia significantly impacts English language learning in remote schools. This study explores the key challenges English teachers face in rural settings and the pedagogical strategies they employ to overcome them. Using a qualitative research design with semi-structured interviews, five English teachers from various rural schools in Nusa Tenggara Barat were interviewed. Thematic analysis revealed several core challenges, including inadequate infrastructure, limited internet connectivity, a shortage of qualified teachers, and insufficient supervision and motivation. Despite these issues, teachers have adopted strategies such as understanding local community needs, applying inclusive teaching methods, leveraging limited technology, and engaging in professional development. These findings highlight the urgent need for targeted policy intervention to improve English instruction in rural areas. The study provides valuable insights for educators, policymakers, and researchers interested in equitable education reform. Therefore, the researcher believed that this study is beneficial for future researchers and readers, particularly in educational contexts.

Abstract

Pembelajaran menulis puisi masih mengalami berbagai hambatan. Hambatan tersebut berasal dari siswa maupun guru. Siswa kurang berminat terhadap pembelajaran menulis puisi karena kurang tertarik dan merasa kesulitan memilih kata serta merangkai menjadi baris-baris puisi. Metode penelitian tindakan kelas Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah teknik tes dan nontes. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan diperoleh hasil bahwa Teknik Kata Berantai mampu meningkatkan minat dan hasil belajar menulis puisi bebas siswa kelas VIII G SMP 1 Kedungreja tahun pelajaran 2022/2023. Pada Siklus 1, 85% siswa telah mencapai KKM, sedangkan Siklus 2, 100% siswa tuntas belajar. Hasil nontes juga menunjukkan peningkatan yang sangat signifikan. Jika pada pra siklus hanya tujuh siswa yang senang menulis puisi, pada akhir Siklus 1 semua siswa berminat mengikuti pembelajaran menulis puisi. Dari data-data hasil penelitian di atas maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan teknik kata berantai terbukti mampu meningkatkan keaktifan dan hasil belajar siswa di Kelas VIII G SMP 1 Kedungreja tahun pelajaran 2022/2023.

Abstract

This article aims to examine and analyze the phenomenon of prostitution services and evaluate the effectiveness of criminalizing users of prostitution services in reducing current prostitution practices. The article is written using a legal, empirical, and comparative approach, with data based on secondary sources. The analysis results indicate that prostitution can be fundamentally interpreted as the commercialization of sexual relationships, where an individual provides sexual services to another in exchange for money. In the present era, many studies emphasize the significant meaning of criminalizing users of prostitution services, as exemplified by the measures taken in Sweden. However, despite Sweden's attempt to criminalize by imposing fines on users of prostitution services, the practice of prostitution persists. Criminalization can lead to new issues, such as the emergence of human trafficking practices and an increase in the spread of HIV due to inadequate supervision of covert prostitution practices.

Abstract

Democracy and Reform in Indonesia have had a significant impact on the people's participation and control over the nation's direction and development, one of which is the participation and control of the people in the formation and enforcement of the law. This study will attempt to provide an overview of the extent of public monitoring/control in law enforcement in Indonesia. The study is a normative juridical research, using secondary data as the main source, which is then analyzed qualitatively. The results show that public monitoring/control through social media in law enforcement in Indonesia has a great influence in determining the demands, defenses, and verdicts of individuals in legal cases. For example, in the case of Ferdy Sambo, the Indonesian people expressed their hopes on social media that Ferdy Sambo should be sentenced to death, although the prosecutor's office sentenced him to life imprisonment. However, the judge later gave Ferdy Sambo the death penalty in accordance with the aspirations of the Indonesian people. Nonetheless, comments and expressions of aspirations by the public through social media need to be regulated so as not to violate the rights of individuals who are involved in legal cases, including the right to be presumed innocent. Therefore, the government needs to develop and consider online petitions as a means for people to express their aspirations in an orderly and accountable manner.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of the increasingly rapid growth of banking in Indonesia, in particular, both sharia and conventional banking. Where in general there are differences in the legal umbrella used and in the form of profit recovery. One of the factors that banks must pay attention to in order to continue to survive is the performance (financial condition) of the bank. The aim of this research is to analyze the significant differences between the financial performance of Islamic banking and conventional banking based on CAR, NIM and ROA ratios. The population in this research is sharia banks and conventional banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) for the 2022-2023 period. The sampling technique uses a purposive sampling method. The type of data analysis used in research is using quantitative data analysis techniques which only use number calculations and then draw conclusions. The testing technique used in this research uses descriptive statistical tests and independent sample tests. This research uses SPSS Version 23 statistical software. The results of this research are that there is no difference in the financial performance of Islamic banking and conventional banking based on CAR, NIM and ROA ratios

Abstract

       This research aims to examine and analyze the role of commitment as a mediator in the influence of emotional intelligence and supervision on employee performance. This research method uses a quantitative descriptive design. The population was all employees of SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Surakarta, totaling 38 respondents and the samples used were taken from the entire population. The sampling technique uses census sampling. Data collection uses a questionnaire. The data analysis techniques used are descriptive statistical tests, measurement model tests or outer models including convergent validity, discriminant validity and reliability, structural model tests or inner models including r-square, f-square and estimated path coefficients, hypothesis tests and mediation tests The results of this research show that the variables of emotional intelligence and supervision have a positive and significant effect on employee performance variables through commitment. In this study, the resulting Adjusted R-Square was Y 0.902 or 92.0% and Z 0.864 or 86.4%.

Abstract

Hak asasi manusia adalah hak yang unik dan universal yang melekat pada diri manusia. Hak asasi manusia berarti hak asasi manusia yang unik dalam Islam. Ini adalah tugas alami dan mendasar yang diberikan Allah kepada SWT. Dari sudut pandang Islam, hak asasi manusia dikaitkan dengan konsep kesetaraan. Ini adalah Q.S. Al Hujjarat ayat 13. Artikel ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dan kajian pustaka dengan mengumpulkan informasi penelitian kepustakaan sebagai sumber data. Beberapa kajian teoritis membahas tentang pengertian HAM, HAM dan tanggung jawab, serta kesetaraan dan status hukum dari perspektif Islam. Kesimpulan dari artikel penulis adalah bahwa dalam perspektif Islam, hak asasi manusia datang langsung dari Tuhan Yang Maha Esa dan tidak dapat ditangguhkan atau dicabut, sehingga hak tersebut telah ada jauh sebelum menjadi hak dasar individu. Prinsip universalnya adalah bagian dari semangat dan nilai-nilai Syariah.

Abstract

HIV dan AIDS adalah kondisi kesehatan yang serius dan perlu dipahami dengan baik oleh masyarakat. HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) adalah virus yang dapat melemahkan sistem kekebalan tubuh, sedangkan AIDS (Acquired Immuno-Deficiency Syndrome) merupakan kondisi di mana sistem kekebalan tubuh sangat lemah akibat infeksi HIV.Jika tidak diobati, HIV dapat berkembang menjadi AIDS, yaitu kondisi di mana sistem kekebalan tubuh sangat lemah sehingga tubuh menjadi rentan terhadap berbagai infeksi dan penyakit serius. Perkembangan dari infeksi HIV menjadi AIDS ditentukan oleh jenis, virulensi virus, dan faktor host (daya tahan tubuh). Ada tiga jenis infeksi HIV, yaitu: rapid progressor, berlangsung 2-5 tahun; average progressor, berlangsung 7-15 tahun; dan slow progressor, lebih dari 15 tahun setelah infeksi menjadi AIDS. Mengenali HIV dan AIDS serta tanda-tanda gejala HIV adalah langkah penting dalam menjaga kesehatan diri dan orang lain. Jika Anda merasa berisiko atau mengalami gejala yang mencurigakan, segera periksakan diri ke fasilitas kesehatan terdekat untuk mendapatkan pemeriksaan dan perawatan yang tepat. Selain pengobatan, dukungan dari lingkungan maupun masyarakat bagi ODHIV juga dibutuhkan

Abstract

The rapid adoption of ride-hailing services in Indonesia is confronted by the problem of passenger safety vulnerability, stemming from normative regulatory insufficiency. The prevailing legal framework, comprising both the lex generalis (Law Number 22 of 2009) and the lex specialis (Ministerial Regulation Number 118 of 2018), is found to fail to provide a precise and operational mechanism for corporate liability. This failure creates a significant regulatory gap. This research aims to analyze the insufficiency of this legal framework, deconstruct the juridical implications of the “partnership” status, and construct an ideal, justice-based liability model. Employing a normative legal research (juridical-normative) method with statute, conceptual, and historical approaches, this study analyzes primary and secondary legal materials. The research findings indicate that this regulatory gap is exploited by application companies through the “partnership” construction. Substantively, this construction constitutes a legal fiction and a disguised employment relationship. This strategy is used to evade the doctrine of vicarious liability and systematically contributes to human error, which is the primary cause of accidents. This systematic contribution occurs through exploitative algorithmic management and the absence of fatigue management. Therefore, the novelty of this research is the proposition of a fundamental legal reconstruction. This reconstruction comprises two steps: imperatively affirming the legal status of application companies as “Transportation Service Providers,” and implementing four pillars of imperative liability mechanisms: comprehensive insurance, vehicle-worthiness standards, driver-welfare standards (including online-hour limits), and a rapid victim compensation mechanism.
