Abstract

This article aims to examine and analyze the phenomenon of prostitution services and evaluate the effectiveness of criminalizing users of prostitution services in reducing current prostitution practices. The article is written using a legal, empirical, and comparative approach, with data based on secondary sources. The analysis results indicate that prostitution can be fundamentally interpreted as the commercialization of sexual relationships, where an individual provides sexual services to another in exchange for money. In the present era, many studies emphasize the significant meaning of criminalizing users of prostitution services, as exemplified by the measures taken in Sweden. However, despite Sweden's attempt to criminalize by imposing fines on users of prostitution services, the practice of prostitution persists. Criminalization can lead to new issues, such as the emergence of human trafficking practices and an increase in the spread of HIV due to inadequate supervision of covert prostitution practices.

Starting from the Relative Advantage stage by highlighting the benefits or added value of the news conveyed. Complexity is seen in the web system it runs. Trialability is seen in interactive web views. Observability, by optimizing visibility on Google's search engine. Compatibility where the Haluan Daily has a format adjustment in the form of rules or Journalistic principles that he holds.

Abstract

Inclusive education has emerged as a central principle in ensuring equitable access to quality education for all children, including those with special needs (CWSN). This study employs a descriptive qualitative design based on a comparative literature review of inclusive education practices in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand. Data were drawn from scholarly publications and policy documents between 2015 and 2024 retrieved from Google Scholar, ERIC, and Scopus databases. The findings reveal that inclusive education in primary schools has generally advanced through the admission of CWSN into regular classes but continues to be hindered by limited teacher competence and resource constraints. In response, this research proposes the Collaborative Inclusive Education Model (CIEM), emphasizing multi-stakeholder collaboration, differentiated instruction, and the cultivation of an inclusive school culture. The model promotes shared responsibility among teachers, special educators, parents, and the community in developing individualized learning plans that address diverse learner needs. Theoretically, CIEM reinforces humanistic education principles, while practically, it provides a framework for adaptive, participatory learning environments. The study concludes that collaborative and context-sensitive strategies are essential to advancing inclusive education reform in Southeast Asia.

Abstract

The disparity in educational quality between urban and rural areas in Indonesia significantly impacts English language learning in remote schools. This study explores the key challenges English teachers face in rural settings and the pedagogical strategies they employ to overcome them. Using a qualitative research design with semi-structured interviews, five English teachers from various rural schools in Nusa Tenggara Barat were interviewed. Thematic analysis revealed several core challenges, including inadequate infrastructure, limited internet connectivity, a shortage of qualified teachers, and insufficient supervision and motivation. Despite these issues, teachers have adopted strategies such as understanding local community needs, applying inclusive teaching methods, leveraging limited technology, and engaging in professional development. These findings highlight the urgent need for targeted policy intervention to improve English instruction in rural areas. The study provides valuable insights for educators, policymakers, and researchers interested in equitable education reform. Therefore, the researcher believed that this study is beneficial for future researchers and readers, particularly in educational contexts.
