Abstract

Background: Perception is a process of giving meaning, interpretation, and sensation that is received by each individual and is strongly influenced by one's internal and external factors. These perceptions have a considerable role to play in behavior change, and efforts should be focused on increasing perceived vulnerabilities, perceived severity, perceived benefits, and perceived barriers. Objective: Analyzing the relationship between perceptions of health based on the Health Belief Model (HBM) and treatment-seeking behavior. Method: This study uses a correlational analytic design with an approach cross-sectional. This study involved 142 respondents obtained randomly. Data were collected using the HBM-based health perception questionnaire and the treatment-seeking behavior questionnaire with data analysis using the rank correlation test spearmen with a 95% confidence interval. Results: Test analysis Spearman rank showed a significant relationship between HBM-based perceptions of health and treatment-seeking behavior and the value of p = <0.001 and r = 0.274. Conclusion: A significant relationship exists between the two variables with weak strength and a positive direction. This shows that the higher the perception of health, the higher the treatment-seeking behavior of rubber farmers. Healthy perception has an important role in maintaining a state of a person who will behave according to his perception. A good perception will be easier to implement behavior to achieve health with appropriate treatment-seeking behavior

Abstract

The patient is the focus of nursing care, so interpersonal relationships between nurses and patients are needed. Caring behavior can create harmonious interpersonal relationships between nurses and patients. Nurses' caring behaviors are friendly and they always empathize with patients and their families. The study aimed to analyze the relationship between nurse caring behavior and nurse-patient interpersonal relationship in the inpatient room at RSU dr. H. KoesnadiBondowoso. The correlation method used was cross-sectional. The sampling technique applied total sampling with 104 nurses in the inpatient room. This study was analyzed using Kendall's tau-b because the two variables had ordinal scales. The results of Kendall's tau-b test showed that p-value = 0.025 (p less than 0.05) with a correlation coefficient of 0.221, which meant that the correlation of the two variables was positive as the strength of the relationship was weak. Nurses with caring behavior were 56 respondents (53.8%), and nurses with good nurse-patient interpersonal relationship quality were 62 (59.6%). This research is expected to be a policy framework for hospital management to improve quality services. Abstrak: Pasien merupakan fokus dari asuhan keperawatan, sehingga hubungan interpersonal yang baik antara perawat dengan pasien sangat dibutuhkan. Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic poses significant challenges to the collaborative process between health workers. In handling a pandemic, every health professional must collaborate and coordinate with other professionals to produce safe and quality health services. Interprofessional collaboration is a general strategy to achieve the desired quality results effectively and efficiently in improving health services. This study aims to determine the implementation of nurse-doctor collaboration in inpatient rooms based on the perspective of inpatient nurses. This study used a descriptive research approach through a total sampling technique and as many as 151 inpatient nurses at dr. Soebandi Hospital participated as a respondent. Data was collected using a nurse characteristic questionnaire and NPCS (Nurse-Physician Collaboration Scale). Data were analyzed using descriptive methods and categorized as good and bad collaboration. The results showed that 51.7% of nurses had good interprofessional collaboration, and 48.3% reported bad interprofessional collaboration. The results showed that interprofessional collaboration between nurses and doctors showed almost the same results; nearly half of the nurses' perceptions showed results that still needed to be improved. There is a need to increase interprofessional collaboration in all hospital services. Even though the pandemic is a limitation for direct collaboration, collaboration is further enhanced by using supporting communication media, such as by telephone. Good collaboration between doctors and nurses will improve the quality of health services.

Abstract

Vaccinators, who are health workers, are continuing to make efforts to accelerate the achievement of the COVID-19 vaccination. This study aimed to analyze burnout syndrome among vaccinators. An analytical descriptive with a cross sectional approach was used. The number of samples using G*Power obtained 138 samples with the criteria of health workers who had been on the COVID-19 vaccinating team from public health centers (Puskesmas) and hospitals in Jember, Indonesia. The instrument used in this study was demographic data, factors causing burnout syndrome, and burnout syndrome. The statistical test is a correlative analysis (Spearman's rho, =0.05). Most of the respondents were aged 31-40 years, the majority were women, the majority were married, most came from the Puskesmas, more than half had worked >10 years, and more than half had been on the COVID-19 vaccine team for >18 months. There is a significant relationship between individual effort (p=0.039, r=-0.176) and organizational effort (p=0.009, r=-0.220) with burnout syndrome. However, the work environment was not significantly related to burnout syndrome (p=0.146, r=-0.124). Efforts are needed to reduce the incidence of burnout, especially those related to increasing individual welfare and significant organizational support so that the target for the COVID-19 vaccination is achieved.
