Abstract

The education system played an important role in the development and expansion of the Ottoman Empire. To provide the country with well-trained and meritorious leaders, special institutions, such as court schools, were established. During its heyday, the Ottoman Empire reached new heights of intellectual achievement. During the success of civilization, this system gave birth to scholars who thought highly and had high knowledge. Empire growth stagnated and became resistant to change and innovation, with lasting consequences for society. Based on this, this article discusses, describes, and analyzes Islamic education in the Ottoman Empire. The object of this research is a literature search with a qualitative descriptive method. Qualitative descriptive research is research that describes existing data. This study uses historical methods. Education during the Ottoman Empire was driven by advanced educational institutions during the Ottoman empire, namely madrasas. In this case it is not just the number of buildings, but the quality of education offered by producing scholars who are experts in their fields. Abstract

Madrasas are educational institutions that combine the national curriculum with the Islamic curriculum. Madrasa education is an alternative to advancing education in the midst of the times. In various countries, especially in Muslim minority countries in the Southeast Asian region, for example Thailand and the Philippines, madrasas are educational institutions that enable people to get an education, if they cannot afford to go to public educational institutions. Madrasas were once considered inferior in terms of their education system, but this did not solely apply to all madrasas, or more precisely, the education system in madrasas has now undergone modernization so as to allow for a better quality of education with combined scientific dualism, namely religion and science. general. Therefore, this paper aims to discuss, describe, and analyze the madrasah education system in the Southeast Asian region, in this case in Thailand and the Philippines. The research uses qualitative research methods with a library research approach. Madrasah education in basic Thailand starts from the ibtidaiyah level, then continues with mutawassitha, and continues at the final level, namely tsanawiyah. Meanwhile in the Philippines, there are madrasah madrasas, regular madrasah madrasas, and integrated madrasas. Regular madrasah diniyah have levels of education similar to the madrasah education system in Thailand. Abstract

In pre-Islamic times, the Arab people did not record the historical events they experienced; instead, they relied on memorization and oral traditions to preserve information related to their history. As time progressed, Islamic historiography emerged in the writing of Islamic history. Based on what has been stated, the author tends to write about Islamic historiography. This research is a type of library research. The analysis is conducted by collecting, exploring, and focusing on the substance of Islamic historical data related to the development of Islamic historiography. In its development, Islamic historiography consists of several stages or periods, namely the early stage, middle stage, early modern stage, and modern stage. Each stage has its own prominent figures. Moreover, in the writing of Islamic history, various polemics exist, including those related to the credibility of sources, differences in perspectives and interpretations, and the use of history for political purposes. Through Islamic historiography, historians are able to identify important events in Islamic history that have influenced the development of political and social culture, the effects of which can still be felt today. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh self-efficacy terhadap kesiapan taruna dalam menghadapi Praktik Laut (Prala) pada konteks pendidikan vokasi kemaritiman. Prala merupakan tahap krusial dalam pendidikan kemaritiman yang memerlukan kesiapan mental dan kompetensi yang memadai. Self-efficacy, atau keyakinan individu terhadap kemampuan dirinya, dihipotesiskan memiliki peran signifikan dalam menentukan tingkat kesiapan taruna. Objek penelitian ini adalah 200 taruna semester 4 yang akan melaksanakan Prala dari empat kampus maritim di Semarang. Pemilihan taruna semester 4 didasarkan pada pertimbangan bahwa mereka berada pada tahap kritis persiapan menjelang pelaksanaan PRALA. Keempat kampus yang menjadi lokasi penelitian dipilih untuk memberikan gambaran yang komprehensif tentang kondisi pendidikan vokasi kemaritiman di Semarang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, focus group discussion (FGD), dan observasi partisipatif. Wawancara mendalam dilakukan dengan taruna terpilih untuk menggali persepsi mereka tentang self-efficacy dan kesiapan menghadapi Prala. FGD dilaksanakan untuk memperoleh pemahaman kolektif tentang tantangan dan harapan taruna terkait Prala. Observasi partisipatif dilakukan untuk mengamati perilaku dan interaksi taruna dalam konteks persiapan Prala. Analisis data menggunakan metode analisis tematik, di mana transkrip wawancara dan FGD serta catatan observasi dikoding dan dikelompokkan ke dalam tema-tema utama. Triangulasi data dilakukan untuk memastikan validitas dan reliabilitas temuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya keterkaitan yang kompleks antara self-efficacy dan kesiapan taruna menghadapi Prala. Temuan utama mengindikasikan bahwa tingkat self-efficacy yang tinggi cenderung berhubungan dengan kesiapan yang lebih baik, namun faktor-faktor kontekstual seperti dukungan institusi dan pengalaman praktik sebelumnya juga memainkan peran penting. Penelitian ini juga mengidentifikasi beberapa tantangan utama yang dihadapi taruna dalam mempersiapkan diri untuk Prala, serta strategi coping yang mereka gunakan. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya pengembangan program intervensi yang holistik untuk meningkatkan self-efficacy taruna sebagai bagian dari persiapan Prala. Rekomendasi meliputi penyusunan program mentoring, pelatihan manajemen stres, dan peningkatan exposure terhadap lingkungan kerja maritim sebelum Prala. Penelitian ini juga menyoroti perlunya pendekatan yang lebih personal dalam mempersiapkan taruna, mengingat variasi individual dalam tingkat self-efficacy dan kebutuhan persiapan.

Abstract

This research examines the problem of the high number of ship accidents, where the most significant causal factor is human error. Based on the results of research on previous research, it is known that the human error factor is caused by several things, one of which is work boredom. The research was conducted using a qualitative research method with a phenomenological approach. To obtain the research data, the researcher used semi-structured interview techniques and reviewed various previous studies related to the research theme being carried out. The results of the study state that increasing work saturation will cause seafarers' work productivity to decrease, but if the work saturation experienced at sea is lower, then the work productivity of the seafarers will increase.

Abstract

             Tujuan penelitian ini adalah Menganalisis Dampak Pemasaran Digital dan Kualitas Layanan terhadap Keputusan Pembelian dan Kepuasan Pelanggan sebagai Variabel Intervening (Studi di Toko Kusuma, Toko Sandang Ayu dan Toko Ragil Kuning di Pasuruan). Jenis penelian ini adalah explanatory research dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah nasabah atau pelanggan Toko Kusuma, Toko Sandang Ayu dan Toko Ragil Kuning di Pasuruan. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan purposive sampling dan didapatkan sampel sebanyak 96 responden. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa ada pengaruh tidak langsung variabel Pemasaran Digital dan Kualitas Pelayanan terhadap Keputusan Pembelian melalui Kepuasan Pelanggan, serta semakin tinggi Kepuasan Pelanggan  maka Keputusan Pembelian akan semakin meningkat.Kata kunci : Pemasaran Digital, Kualitas Layanan, kepuasan Pelanggan, Keputusan Pembelian             The purpose of this research is to analyze the impact of digital marketing and service quality on purchasing decisions and customer satisfaction as an intervening variable (studies at Kusuma shop, Sandang Ayu shop and Ragil Kuning shop in Pasuruan). This type of research is explanatory research using a quantitative approach. The population in this study were customers or customers of Toko Kusuma, Toko Sandang Ayu and Toko Ragil Kuning in Pasuruan. The sampling technique was carried out by purposive sampling and obtained a sample of 96 respondents. The results of the study indicate that there is an indirect influence of Digital Marketing and Service Quality variables on Purchasing Decisions through Customer Satisfaction, and the higher the Customer Satisfaction, the Purchasing Decision will increase.Keyword : Digital Marketing, Service Quality, Customer Satisfaction, Purchasing Decision

Abstract

This article aims to describe a normative theological approach to religious pluralism in Indonesia. The research method used is a literature study approach through library sources from various literature sources with a normative theological approach in religious pluralism. Then analyze and present the data findings objectively. The result of this research is the implementation of a normative approach in religious pluralism in Indonesia through two elements, namely; first, upholding religious tolerance by mutual respect and respect between religious communities in accordance with the practice of Pancasila. secondly, the attitude of mutual help in religion which is manifested in the form of mutual cooperation in helping others to realize the welfare of each other's lives. This means that religious pluralism is an important point in the life of society in Indonesia which has a diverse population of different races, ethnicities, ethnicities and religions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze Islamic texts through linguistic discourse analysis and semiotic approaches in order to reveal their linguistic structures, sign systems, and meaning constructions. The research employs a qualitative approach with a library research design. The data consist of Islamic texts, including the Qur’an, Hadith, as well as classical and contemporary Islamic writings, which are analyzed using a descriptive-interpretative method. Linguistic discourse analysis is applied to examine lexical choices, rhetorical strategies, discourse framing, cohesion, coherence, and intertextuality, while semiotic analysis focuses on symbolic meanings through the relationships between signs, denotation, and connotation. The findings indicate that Islamic texts are constructed through normative and persuasive language that represents particular religious ideologies and authorities. Religious symbols within Islamic texts contain multilayered and contextual meanings that dynamically evolve in response to social and media changes. The integration of linguistic discourse analysis and semiotics provides a more holistic understanding of Islamic texts as living and dynamic discourses interacting with social realities. This study highlights the importance of interdisciplinary approaches in Islamic textual studies to foster critical, contextual, and relevant interpretations in contemporary Muslim societies.

Abstract

There are several criticisms directed at the learning process of Islamic Religious Education in schools. Some arguments state that Islamic Religious Education learning does not show significant progress in changing student behavior and attitudes. Most critics argue that the learning process of Islamic Religious Education only focuses on the cognitive aspects of students not the affective aspect. This study aims to explore the development model of Islamic Religious Education through religious culture at SMAN 1 Wonosobo. This study tries to provide a comprehensive understanding of the implications of Islamic Religious Education on the transformation of students' religiosity through religious culture. The results of the study show : 1) the development of Islamic Religious Education is formed through activities outside the learning process; 2) activities outside the learning process are designed to become a religious culture consisting of two models. The first is organic-systemic which is based on school policies and the second is the initiative of Islamic Religious Education teachers, 3) the manifestation of student religiosity can be seen from the changing focus of Islamic Religious Education from mastery and understanding of religious teachings to growing self-awareness to form religious attitudes in school.

Abstract

Education is the core foundation of national development, necessitating a holistic quality reform. Efforts to improve human resources are insufficient if solely centered on formal institutions; they require a synergistic educational ecosystem involving schools, families, and communities. This research addresses the fragmentation of previous studies by offering a comprehensive analysis of an integrated education model. Specifically, it focuses on the interconnectedness, synergy, and coordination among various environments (Microsystem and Mesosystem) that influence child development, and presents a synthesis between formal-informal-nonformal education with character reinforcement based on Islamic values (Akhlakul Karimah). This study employs a qualitative library research method with data collection techniques utilizing documentation from books, articles, and journals. The data analysis technique is content analysis combined with a thematic-comparative approach to identify patterns and differences in character education implementation. The results demonstrate that the Bronfenbrenner’s Ecological Theory framework (Microsystem, Mesosystem, Exosystem, Macrosystem, Chronosystem) is an essential analytical tool for mapping multi-stakeholder coordination dynamics. The success of the Integrated Education Model critically depends on the consistency and synergy of values received by the child across different systems. The three main factors determining parenting behavior (Child Factor, Environmental Factor, and Parent's Individual Self Factor) within the Family Microsystem are crucial. Furthermore, the development of Akhlakul Karimah must be systemic and holistic, involving the three national pillars (schools, families, and communities), consistent with Bronfenbrenner's theory. Weak cross-system coordination (a weak Mesosystem) often creates a confusing disparity of values for students. Therefore, a strong collective commitment is needed to reinforce the communication and collaboration network among all ecological elements for the realization of holistic character education.
