Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kadar bioetanol dari limbah bonggol nanas madu dengan variasi konsentrasi Saccharomyces cerevisiae dalam pembuatan hand sanitizer serta implementasinya sebagai modul pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengap (RAL), dengan 3 perlakuan dan 4 kali ulangan sehingga diperoleh percobaan sebanyak 12 kali. Jumlah takaran yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu 1:2, dimana bonggol buah nanas 150 gram ditambahkan dengan aquadest sebanyak 300 ml. Hasil penelitian menunjukan tidak adanya pengaruh variasi konsentrasi Saccharomyces cerevisiae terhadap kadar alkohol bioetanol bonggol nanas madu ditolak, dimana Fhitung (0,33) ˂ Ftabel 5% (5,14) dan Ftabel 1% (5,29). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah perlakuan variasi konsentrasi Saccharomyces cerevisiae tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap kadar alkohol bioetanol bonggol nanas madu. Kadar alkohol bioetanol bonggol nanas madu tertinggi pada perlakuan konsentrasi Saccharomyces cerevisiae 1,5 gram dengan kadar alkohol 1,883% dan kadar alkohol terendah pada perlakuan konsentrasi Saccharomyces cerevisiae 2,0 gram dengan kadar alkohol 1,748%.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop learning tools in the topic of humandigestion system vision SETS. SETS approach was an integratedlearning which is expected to exercise students to have the ability tolook at things in an integrated manner by taking into the fourelements, namely science, environment, technology, and society. Thisresearch was Research and Development with the subject was studentsof SMP 1 Kudus grade VIII that follows extracurricular YouthScientific Work consisting of 10 students for limited scale test and 3classes for wide scale test with purposive sampling. The resultsshowed that the learning tools were declared valid by expert. Learningtools was effectively used in learning, because > 80% of studentsreached minimal standard qualification and there was an increase inthe value of pretest-posttest. Learning activities of students of thethree experimental class >75% achieving an active and very activecategories.Keywords: learning activities, learning outcomes, learning tools,SETS.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pola tipe model dalam Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) MGMP Biologi Kelas XI SMA Negeri di Kota Semarang. Indikator tipe model merupakan data utama penelitian yang terdiri atas model skala, model pedagogik analogik, model ikonik dan simbolik, model matematik, model teoritik, model proses (maps, diagram, tabel, dan model konsep-proses), dan simulasi. Analisis data menggunakan analisis kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa data yang diperoleh berupa dokumentasi kumpulan gambar atau tabel dari LKS semester 1 dan 2 berjumlah 130 data dengan 137 analisis tipe model. Tipe model skala sebanyak 65 atau 50%, konsep-proses berjumlah 40, maps, diagram, dan tabel berjumlah 24, ikonik dan simbolik berjumlah 5, pedagogik dan analogik, teoritik, serta simulasi masing-masing 1. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan tidak ditemukannya tipe model matematik. Hasil analisis pola tipe model dalam LKS MGMP Biologi Kelas XI, selaras dengan ciri-ciri Ilmu Biologi, serta selaras dengan karakteristik jenis pengetahuan faktual, konseptual, dan prosedural.

Abstract

Coffee liquid waste contains organic matter which can be at risk of increasing water pollution levels. The results of the preliminary research carried out showed that the level of pollution due to coffee liquid waste exceeded the quality standard, with the results of the BOD test results being 23 ppm and COD 72 ppm, so we need a way to reduce pollution. Phytoremediation is a method of natural waste handling using certain plants in collaboration with microorganisms in the media (soil, coral, water) so that it can change contaminants to be reduced or harmless. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Salvinia molesta phytoremediation in reducing BOD and COD levels. The research design used a completely randomized design (CRD) with four treatments with three replications. The research data were tested using the Analysis of Variety Prints and the Duncan's Multiple Distance Test continued test. The results showed that the effectiveness of Salvinia molesta in reducing BOD levels was found in P3 obtained by an average of 8.37 ppm (73% decrease) and reducing COD levels by an average of 25.37 ppm (73%). Based on these results, it can be concluded that P3 is effective in reducing BOD and COD levels of coffee liquid waste.

Abstract

The change in learning which was originally face-to-face turned into distance learning suddenly and simultaneously this certainly caused various obstacles for teachers in the learning process. This study aims to identify the teacher's obstacles in the Distance Learning System in Biology learning at Senior High School  of Brebes Regency during the COVID-19 pandemic. The study used descriptive qualitative methods by distributing online questionnaires to the teachers. The population in this study were Biology teachers at Senior High School in Brebes Regency, totaling 36 teachers. Sampling used a total sampling consisting of 36 teachers. The instrument used is a teacher's questionnaire in planning, implementing learning, design, and learning media, learning technology/application, and assessment/evaluation. The instrument in the form of a teacher questionnaire used has been validated by researchers with expert validation. The results of the study indicate that the most dominant constraint is the constraint in the very high category, namely the planning constraint of Distance Learning System (68%) Followed by the implementation constraint with a percentage (62%) in the high category then the assessment and evaluation constraint with a percentage (61%). Meanwhile, other constraints are design and media constraints by 60% in the high category and technology/application constraints by 60% in the high category. Referring to these results, teachers in the Distance Learning System still find problems in planning, implementation, media and methods, technology/application, and evaluation/assessment. One of these obstacles must be overcome, one of which is to overcome obstacles in technology/application, namely by replacing the easier-to-use learning media, namely GoogleMeet, or Zoom Meeting, where both applications include official applications supported by the Ministry of Education and Culture in subsidizing internet quotas.

Abstract

Ketersediaan energi fosil dalam penggunaan bahan bakar semakin menipis dan tingkat residu yang dihasilkan semakin menigkat, sehingga diperlukan sumber energi alternatif untuk menunjang kebutuhan energi salah satunya bioetanol. Alang- alang (Imperata cylindrica) memiliki kandungan selulosa sebanyak 40,22% dapat digunakan sebagai bahan dasar bioetanol dengan bantuan Saccharomyces cerevisiae pengubah glukosa menjadi etanol. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis karakteristik bioetanol berdasarkan densitas dan persen rendemen bioetanol dengan variasi massa ragi roti Saccharomyces cerevisiae dan waktu fermentasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL), dengan 4 perlakuan dan 3 kali ulangan. Jumlah takaran larutan untuk setiap perlakuan adalah 100 ml. Nilai densitas tertinggi pada perlakuan 4 massa   roti Saccharomyces cerevisiae 15 gram dengan lama fermentasi 6 hari sebesar 0.9041 g/ml, nilai densitas terendah pada perlakuan 1 massa ragi roti Saccharomyces cerevisiae 10 gram dan lama fermentasi 3 hari sebesar 0,9340 g/ml. Persen rendemen tertinggi diperoleh dari perlakuan 4 massa ragi roti Saccharomyces cerevisiae 15 gram dan lama fermentasi 6 hari sebanyak 23,11% dan persen rendemen terendah pada perlakuan 1 dengan massa ragi roti Saccharomyces cerevisiae 10 gram dan lama fermentasi 3 hari sebesar 17,90%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada pengaruh variasi konsentrasi  Saccharomyces cerevisiae dan lama fermentasi terhadap nilai densitas dan persen rendemen.

Abstract

Biology lessons conducted online during the COVID-19 pandemic have hampered school implementation practicum activities. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct research that aimed to describe the implementation of biology practicum during online learning. This research was conducted to determine the impact of online osmosis practicum during the COVID-19 pandemic in class XI MIPA 4 SMA Negeri 1 Sindang with a sample of 27 students of class XI MIPA 4 and 1 biology teacher. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The sampling technique was carried out by the purposive sampling method. The instruments used are observation sheets, questionnaire sheets, interview sheets, documentation, and field notes. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative analysis. The osmosis practicum process is carried out independently by students using the guidance from the teacher provided. The practicum results are then reported in an activity video, and the teacher will check the video. The results of the research carried out showed that the implementation of the osmosis practicum went well. The readiness of the tools and practicum materials is in the very good category, students' understanding of doing practicum is in a good category, the conclusions are in a good category, and the practicum report is in the very good category. From the results obtained, it can be concluded that the implementation of the osmosis practicum in class XI MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Sindang was carried out online is implemented properly and effectively.

Abstract

Assessment is an integrated part of the planning and implementation process of learning. The transition from KTSP to the 2013 curriculum is a problem for teachers in applying assessment skills in learning, because teachers still have difficulty implementing authentic assessments and still use assessments in terms of cognitive tests only (Setiadi, 2016). This study aims to determine the literacy profile of science teacher assessments at SMA Negeri 1 Gubug and the assessment used by science teachers. This is because there is no source of research on teacher awareness of assessment in SMA Negeri 1 Gubug. This research uses descriptive quantitative research method, with purposive sampling. The instruments used in this research are the assessment literacy test, interview guidelines, questionnaires, and check list sheets. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the assessment literacy profile of science teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Gubug is based on PAP Type II is in the "Very Low" category (assessment literacy questionnaire) and "Low" category (interview results). The teacher has the highest score with a score of 86% on the aspect of the difficulty of using the assessment, while the lowest score is on the aspect of attitude assessment by getting a score of 18%. The implication of this study is that by knowing the literacy assessment profile, teachers can understand and implement the importance of assessment so that this can be used as a benchmark in improving the quality of learning.

Abstract

Pembelajaran Biologi belum semua guru menggunakan instrumen asesmen kinerja praktikum. guru masih menggunakan asesmen secara tertulis diakhir kegiatan pembelajaran, sehingga hasil belajar siswa hanya duperoleh dari aspek kognitif tanpa melihat proses belajar yang dilakukan siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas asesmen kinerja praktikum berbasis scientific inquiry dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar pada materi struktur dan fungsi jaringan pada tumbuhan pada siswa kelas XI MIPA di SMA N 2 Slawi. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian True Eksperimental Design bentuk pretest-posttest control grup design. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini, meliputi: teknis tes DAN non tes, terdiri atas: (a) pengamatan dan penilaian langsung terhadap rancangan perangkat asesmen pembelajaran kinerja praktikum oleh validitas; (b) pengamatan dan penilaian langsung terhadap keterlaksanaan dari instrumen penilaian yang diberikan kepada observer; dan (c) pemberian angkat respon kepada siswa dan wawancara langsung terhadap guru mapel Biologi untuk mengumpulkan data kelayakan asesmen pembelajaran kinerja praktikum dan teknik tes yaitu memberikan tes butir pilihan ganda kepada siswa untuk mengetahui pemahaman siswa terhadap materi yang dipelajari. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa kelaS XI MIPA 2 dan MIPA 3 yang memperoleh pembelajaran dengan penerapan asesmen kinerja dan yang tidak. Dilihat dari assmen afektif kognitif dan psikomotorik kelas eksperimen lebih unggul dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol. Ditunjukan juga dari hasil pengujian hipotesis nilai hasil belajar siswa, diperoleh nilai signifikansi (0,000 < 0,05) dengan begitu asesmen kinerja praktikum berbasis Scientific Inquiry dikatakan efektif.

Abstract

Kurikulum merdeka menekankan peserta didik untuk pembelajaran berbasis projek, dalam kurikulum merdeka terdapat Proyek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5). Kegiatan P5 ini dilakukan menggunakan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kaitan PjBL dengan kegiatan P5 di SMP Negeri 37 Semarang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas VII H SMP Negeri 37 Semarang. Teknik sampling dalam penelitian ini adalah non-probability sampling, instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan P5 di SMP Negeri 37 Semarang sudah menggunakan model pembelajaran PjBL yang dapat terlihat dari kegiatan-kegiatan pada saat kegiatan P5 dengan tema Gaya Hidup Berkelanjutan, dimulai dari pemberian apersepsi pemberian materi baik dari guru maupun pihak lain yang bekerjasama, hingga melakukan gelar karya. Selain itu model pembelajaran Project Based Learning juga dapat menumbuhkan dan meningkatkan aspek atau dimensi Profil Pelajar Pancasila peserta didik SMP Negeri 37 Semarang.
