Abstract

Bacterial contamination in our environment is worrying, mainly contamination at drinking waters, vegetables, foods, soil which close to our daily activity. The main contamination in environment is caused by E. coli which simply found easily surround us. So, it leads to bigger problem if not immediately solve. One of possible yet safe compounds to overcome this problem is the use of natural product such as M. oleifera seeds as antibacterial agents. This study want to find out the ability of M. oleifera seed ethanolic extract as antibacterial agent against E. coli. Ethanolic extract of M. oleifera seeds are concentrated into 25%, 50%, and 75%, then treated to E. coli culture under laboratory condition. The inhibitory zone diameter which formed after 24 hours incubation was measured and compared to control with no extract treatment. The result of this study showed that there is inhibitory zone formed in three groups of treatmen (T1-T3), but there is no inhibitory zone formed at control group. The 75% ethanolic extract of M. oleifera seeds (T3) has the wides inhibitory zone diameter among four groups, followed by the 50% extract (T2) and 25% extract (T1) with diameter 15,03 ± 0,55 mm; 11,00 ± 1,32 mm; 7,03 ± 0,90 mm, respectively. All inhibitory zone diameter among groups in this research statistically different with strong inhibitory status at T2 as well as T3, and moderate inhibitory status at T1.

Abstract

Self-directed learning (SDL) based learning model has received significant attention in an effort to improve students' self-learning ability and critical thinking skills. Self- Directed Learning is an independent learning model that gives students the freedom to identify their learning needs, set learning objectives, find learning resources, select and use learning strategies, and evaluate their learning outcomes. This article shows that the SDL learning model enriched with argumentative evaluation and critical thinking has a significant positive influence on students. The application of argumentative assessment helps students develop analytical skills, logical reasoning, and the ability to build and defend arguments effectively. Meanwhile, the development of critical thinking through SDL learning allows students to take the initiative in identifying, planning and evaluating their own learning. It is important to adopt a learning approach that encourages students to take initiative in their own learning process and actively apply critical thinking skills in learning

Abstract

Pada era modern saat ini perkembangan teknologi berkembang dengan sangat pesat salah satunya sistem AI atau Artificial Intelligence. Artificial Intelligence mulai mengambil peran dalam kegiatan pembelajaran di sekolah maupun perguruan tinggi. Akan tetapi, hal ini tidak sejalan dengan fakta di lapangan. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dengan Kepala SMA N 1 Mranggen diketahui bahwa guru mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami dan menerapkan teknologi terbaru dalam proses pembelajaran dan belum memanfaatkan potensi AI dalam menunjang proses pembelajaran maupun asesmen. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, tim PKM melakukan pelatihan AI untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru SMAN 1 Mranggen. Kegiatan pelatihan ini dilakukan dalam beberapa tahap yakni : a) Penjelasan materi tentang AI meliputi pemanfaatan AI dalam menyusun media dan asesmen pembelajaran, serta b) Praktik dan pendampingan pembuatan media dan asesmen berbasis AI. Beberapa materi yang disampaikan antara lain penjelasan tentang potensi AI dalam pembelajaran, penjelasan dan praktik pembuatan media presentasi menggunakan aplikasi Magicschool, Wepik, Canva, Gamma AI serta praktik pembuatan asesmen berbasis AI menggunakan aplikasi Conker AI dan Liveworksheet. Kegiatan pelatihan ini mendapatkan respon yang sangat positif dari peserta pelatihan. Hal ini tampak dari antusiasme peserta dalam mengajukan pertanyaan baik saat penjelasan materi maupun saat praktik. Selain itu, berdasarkan angket yang diisi oleh peserta pelatihan di akhir sesi, diketahui bahwa pelatihan AI ini juga telah meningkatkan ketrampilan peserta pelatihan dalam mengoperasikan AI dalam menyusun perangkat pembelajaran (modul ajar) sebesar 96,7%, bahan ajar sebesar 100%, media pembelajaran sebesar 93,3%, LKPD sebesar 93,3%, dan asesmen sebesar 96,6%. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelatihan AI ini telah mampu 1) meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru dalam mengimplementasikan teknologi AI, 2) meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam merancang dan mengimplementasikan strategi pembelajaran yang melibatkan penggunaan AI untuk meningkatkan efektivitas dan interaktivitas kelas, 3) meningkatkan kemampuan menyusun mekanisme penilaian kinerja guru dalam menerapkan teknologi AI dalam pengajaran, yang dapat digunakan sebagai dasar untuk pengembangan profesional lebih lanjut.
