Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether student learning achievement increases with the case method learning paradigm. The data were collected using using a questionnaire distributed through Google Form. Furthermore, the data was processed using regression analysis. A total of 188 active students of the Economics Education Study Program, Makassar State University were used as samples for this study, selected based on considerable factors. The results showed that the consistency value of the learning achievement variable and indicated that learning achievement has been increased with the involvement of case method learning paradigm. The results of this study support the theory that the use of the case method learning model can improve student learning achievement. The results of this study provide a significant influence on the efforts of educators and institutions to improve student learning outcomes and teaching quality by using more interactive and collaborative teaching methods. Abstract

This study aims to explore phenomenologically informal education through the role of parents in providing economic education to children and education in family financial management. This study uses a qualitative approach to phenomenology. The informants in this study were six parents who were heads of families and, based on their profiling, met the requirements for achieving the research objectives. Data collection was carried out using interviews, observation, and documentation. Qualitative data analysis techniques are used through the data reduction phase to present information and draw conclusions. Based on the research findings, it can be concluded that parents have the perception that economic education must be taught to children from an early age, especially in terms of managing money, reducing unnecessary expenses, and starting to save from an early age, so that children get used to being intelligent economic beings and prepare for future success. When teaching their children about family economics, parents focus on helping their children understand their family's financial situation and how to act responsibly by only spending as needed by providing explanations and modeling economic behavior. Abstract

Nilai-nilai budaya lokal yang terkandung dalam Tari Tor-Tor mencakup berbagai aspek kehidupan masyarakat Batak, mulai dari sistem kepercayaan, norma sosial, hingga pandangan hidup yang perlu dilestarikan di tengah perkembangan teknologi masa kini. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengungkap nilai-nilai budaya lokal yang terkandung dalam Tari Tor-Tor melalui pendekatan historis, serta menganalisis peran tarian tersebut dalam mempertahankan warisan leluhur budaya Batak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan historis untuk menelusuri perkembangan Tari Tor-Tor dan nilai-nilai budaya yang melekat padanya dari masa ke masa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Tari tor – tor bukan sekadar pertunjukan estetis, melainkan simbol nilai-nilai budaya local yang mendalam, seperti kebersamaan, penghormatan kepada leluhur, spiritualitas, dan identitas komunal. Secara historis, tarian ini berfungsi sebagai media komunikasi dengan alam dan roh leluhur, terutama dalam ritual adat seperti pernikahan, kematian, atau penyembahan. Gerakan, musik, dan kostumnya sarat makna filosofis. Perkembangan zaman menggeser sebagian konteks sakral Tari Tor-Tor ke ranah hiburan, tetapi nilai-nilai dasarnya tetap dipertahankan sebagai bentuk resistensi terhadap erosi budaya. Pelestarian Tari Tor-Tor memerlukan dukungan multidimensi, baik melalui dokumentasi sejarah, transmisi generasi muda, maupun integrasi dengan pendidikan formal, agar warisan ini tetap relevan. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini mempertegas bahwa Tari Tor-Tor adalah manifestasi hidup dari nilai-nilai leluhur Batak yang perlu dijaga keberlangsungannya sebagai identitas budaya Indonesia.
