Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui reaksi masyarakat terhadap informasi pandemi Covid yang disampaikan oleh media massa. Penyampaian berbagai berita atau hal yang sejenisnya secara berkali-kali membuat masyarakat mudah faham, dan memiliki dampak ketidakpercayaan jika tidak sesuai dengan faktanya. Penelitian ini mencoba untuk mengungkap dan menemukan bahwa media massa secara simultan dapat meningkatkan kepercayaan tentang covid-19 atau sebaliknya. Penelitian ini berbeda dengan yang lainnya, dikarenakan bahwa media yang secara simultan malah membuat ketidakpercayaan secara penuh terhadap pemberitaan yang disampaikan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif secara pusposive sampling terhadap para mahasiswa yang sekarang lagi belajar secara daring dan selalu dekat dengan berita di media sosial. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah 300 mahasiswa yang terdiri dari tujuh kampus di Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan, Indonesia. Berdasarkan hasil temuan, penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa informasi yang disampaikan berulang kali tentang Covid akhirnya membuat masyarakat kurang peduli terhadap Covid. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan munculnya fakta terbalik dari berita dari berbagai media massa.Kata kunci: Persepsi, media, fakta, simultan, masyarakat AbstractThis study aims to determine the public's reaction to the Covid pandemic information conveyed by the mass media. Repeatedly conveying various news or similar things makes it easy for the public to understand, and has an impact of distrust if it is not by the facts. This study tries to uncover and find that mass media can simultaneously increase beliefs about Covid-19 or vice versa. This study is different from the others because the media simultaneously make complete distrust of the news delivered. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative by purposive sampling of students who are currently studying online and are always close to the news on social media. Respondents in this study were 300 students from seven campuses in South Kalimantan Province, Indonesia. Based on the findings, this study concluded that the information that was repeatedly conveyed about Covid ultimately made the public less concerned about Covid. This is evidenced by the emergence of upside-down facts from the news from various mass media.Keywords: Perception, media, facts, simultaneous, society

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh metode problem solving terhadap hasil belajar bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Negeri 10 Kota Bengkulu yang beralamat di Jl. Raya Padang Kemiling Kota Bengkulu, pada siswa kelas XI IPS B dengan populasi sebanyak 32 siswa. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif yang berjenis regresi linier atau menggunakan uji T. Uji persyaratan analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji linieritas untuk mengetahui apakah data pada penelitian ini bersifat normal, homogen dan linier. Hasil pengujian pada penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa adanya pengaruh metode problem solving terhadap hasil belajar bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas XI IPS B SMA Negeri 10 Kota Bengkulu.

Abstract

penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk dan makna gaya bahasa dalam novel Perempuan yang Menangis kepada Bulan Hitam karya Dian Purnomo. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif, metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah metode deskriptif. Sumber data berupa novel Perempuan yang Menangis kepada Bulan Hitam Karya Dian Purnomo. Data yang dikumpulkan berupa kata atau kutipan. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa teknik membaca dan berulang-ulang, mengayati, menyimak, mencatat, kemudian menyimpulkan analisis sehingga memperoleh informasi mengenai gaya bahasa. Teknik keabsahan data dengan meningkatkan ketekunan dan menggunakan bahan referensi. Hasil penelitian mengenai gaya bahasa dalam novel Perempuan yang Menanggis kepada Bulan Hitam karya Dian Purnomo, ditemukan 36 data yang mengandung bentuk dan makna gaya bahasa yang akan dideskripsikan gaya bahasa perbandingan gaya bahasa pertentangan, gaya bahasa pertautan, dan gaya bahasa perulangan.

Abstract

Integrating coding into learning is one of the opportunities afforded by technology in education. However, the use of coding in tertiary institutions is still underutilized in the field of language learning. The purpose of this research is to develop a coding learning model for the speaking course that suits the needs of lecturers and students in the teaching and learning process. This research involves Research and Development using the ADDIE model. The subjects in this study consisted of three lecturers and seventy-eight students from five universities in Bengkulu Province, as well as three experts in the fields of materials, media, and language. The results of the study reveal that this model has three main activities: pre-learning, learning, and post-learning, which have five main phases: perception, exploration, collaboration, coding, and publication. The validation test results obtained ‘very good’ qualifications from material experts and were appropriated by linguists and media experts. The validation results indicate that this model is considered feasible to use so that it meets the standardization of product development testing.

Abstract

The research examines the expressions of rejection used by Instagram users against Rohingya immigrants in Aceh Province. This study is grounded in the growing public apprehension surrounding the influx of Rohingya immigrants, which has been steadily rising over time. The current population of Rohingya immigrants in Indonesia is 1,600, since their initial arrival in Aceh in 2009. This instigates social and economic strife, in which the state of prosperity for the Acehnese population remains incomplete. The data source for this research is 500 comments from Instagram users on five posts on multiple Instagram media profiles. The research data was acquired in December 2023 and subsequently examined using a qualitative descriptive methodology. According to the study's findings, the most common form of rejection was one that used suggestions or other alternatives. It indicates that the individuals in Aceh exhibit a high degree of empathy; however, due to various conditions, they suggest alternative resolutions. Meanwhile, the most minimal form is rejection accompanied by gratitude. These findings demonstrate that Instagram users consider it unnecessary to use courteous language and consider it acceptable to reject Rohingya immigrants. This research also indicated that technological innovations have contributed to the advent of forms of language rejection. We have discovered novel types of rejection discourse, specifically employing symbols or emoticons, utilizing metaphors, and employing hashtags to exert influence over fellow Instagram users.

Abstract

In this era, the concept of technology-based learning becomes more crucial in education. This study aims to describe the implementation, appropriate selection, and constraints in the implementation of Pear Deck in online learning of explanation text writing for class XI senior high school students. The research approach used in this study is a qualitative descriptive approach. The method of data collection is simak (listening). The data analysis method used is the contextual analysis method. Data interpretation is conducted by connecting the relationships, differences, causes, and implications of the analysis results with the existing theories in the literature review. The results show that Pear Deck implementation in online learning of explanation text writing for the students at class XI senior high school students can be made interactive. The teacher has made the right decision by choosing Pear Deck as a learning medium for explanation text writing. Pear Deck has met the criteria as a decent media used in learning. However, several obstacles are found in the implementation of the media.
