Abstract

Pedestrian is a term that describes the transport of people walking in a special place pedestrian. Surabaya is a metropolitan city and one of the cities that serve the community for a vacation like to Surabaya Zoo (KBS) is located not far from the terminal Joyoboyo. The present study was to determine the characteristics of the pedestrian (flow, speed, density), determine the condition of the geometry of pedestrian facilities, pedestrian facilities as well as performance analysis method used is the ratio. This research method includes several stages of site survey, then the data collection that uses several pedestrian walkways, noting the results of a survey conducted during the second day on Sunday and Tuesday at 06:00 to 09:00, measurement speed, geometry condition surveys and questionnaires about the identity, purpose and the purpose, time and distance pedestrian. The analysis showed that the dominant Pedestrian use the sidewalk at 8:45 a.m. to 9:00, the variable max on Sunday ie max speed of 64.78 m / min, max density pedestrian 43.47 /, While the variable-ratio 0.03 max on Tuesday that max speed 61.15 m / min, max density 37.51 pedestrian/, Max ratio of 0.032. While the performance of pedestrian facilities in the category "A", this means that the performance of pedestrian facilities in Surabaya Joyoboyo terminal region is still in either category and still be able to accommodate the number of the existing pedestrian.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the implementation of the Occupational Safety and Health Management System (SMK3) on the productivity of workers on the "X" tower construction project in Surabaya. The population used is the employees of the tower construction project "X" in Surabaya as many as 230 employees, while the number of samples taken 146 employees. The data used is sourced from primary data. Data collection is done by distributing questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis.The results in this study indicate that: (1) Safety Factor has a significant and positive influence on Project Security; (2) Equipment and Work Wear Factors have a significant positive effect on Project Security; (3) Vehicle Track Factors have a significant positive effect on Project Security; (4) Fire Factor has no significant effect on Project Security; (5) Equipment and Machine Factors have a significant positive effect on Project Security; (6) Electricity and Sound factors have a significant positive effect on Project Security; (7) Public Protection Factors have no significant effect on Project Safeguards; (8) General Factors have a significant positive effect on Project Security; (9) Occupational Health Factors have a significant positive effect on Project Security.

Abstract

Kebutuhan akan air bersih akan terus menerus mengalami peningkatan dari tahun ke tahun akibat dari pertumbuhan penduduk yang sangat pesat. Pada bulan agustus 2015 Kota Batam mengalami kendala dalam memenuhi kebutuhan air akibat musim kemarau panjang yang tidak kunjung menurunkan hujan mengakibatkan pemadaman bergilir. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kebutuhan air bersih yang dibutuhkan masyarakat Kota Batam hingga tahun 2025 sehingga dapat dijadikan referensi untuk penelitian selanjutnya. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis akan memperkirakan kebutuhan air bersih berdasarkan data-data statistik yang ada dan membandingkannya terhadap kapasitas produksi air pada saat ini dan pada tahun keberapa Kota Batam mulai kekurangan air serta membahas bagaimana pendapat ahli mengenai pemenuhan air bersih pada tahun 2025 serta berdasarkan data rencana yang ada. Dari hasil perhitungan didapat bahwa kebutuhan air bersih penduduk Kota Batam pada tahun 2015 diperkirakan sebesar 4.588,85 liter/detik dan kapasitas desain produksi WTP Kota Batam pada tahun 2015 adalah sebesar 4.682 liter/detik. Dari kapasitas desain produksi WTP Kota Batam pada saat ini diperkirakan hanya dapat mencukupi kebutuhan air bersih Kota Batam hingga akhir tahun 2015. Kebutuhan air penduduk Kota Batam pada tahun 2025 diperkirakan sebesar 9.279,15 liter/detik sehingga terjadi kekurangan air sebesar 4.597,15 liter/detik dari kapasitas desain produksi saat ini

Abstract

Dalam sistem transportasi perkotaan di wilayah Manokwari, ruas Jalan Maruni - Bts Kota Manokwari berperan sebagai jalan utama yang digunakan oleh pemakai jalan menuju pusat kota maupun luar kota. Jalan Maruni - Bts Kota Manokwari ini juga merupakan Jalan Nasional penghubung 13 Kabupaten/ Kota. Kabupaten Manokwari sebagai salah satu Kabupaten di Papua Barat, saat ini mengalami perkembangan yang pesat, sehingga menyebabkan meningkatnya kebutuhan akan sarana prasarana transportasi. Pada Kabupaten Manokwari, peningkatan pergerakan masyarakat  tidak diimbangi dengan ketersediaan ruas-ruas jalan sebagai aspek prasarana transportasi, untuk itu diperlukan penelitian untuk mengetahui  kinerja Ruas Jalan Maruni - Bts Kota Manokwari  dan juga alternatif penanganan untuk peningkatan pelayanan jalan Maruni-Batas Kota Manokwari. Metode yang digunakan untuk menjawab masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan metode MKJI 1997, adapun hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat mengetahui alterenatif solusi penanganan untuk meningkatkan pelayanan jalan di ruas tersebut.

Abstract

The main problem faced in West Papua Province is that there are still many road networks that have not been connected and several bridge points have not been built, therefore a special Acceleration of Development is needed in the field of Road Infrastructure and its supporters. The purpose of this research study was to find out the performance of the affected roads, namely JL Yos Sudarso and Jalan Merdeka, the need for lanes and the concept of movement after the construction of the Teluk Sawaibu bridge. The research method used is MKJI to calculate the volume and performance of the affected roads. Which is then used as a reference for determining the path and movement of vehicles. Based on the traffic analysis above, the alternative route chosen is the first route with a length of 300 meters, then for the road affected by Jalan Yos Sudarso to Jalan Merdeka with DS 0.56 then projected into traffic growth in 2021 over a 20-year building lifetime. obtained from the year 2021 to the 10th year (2031) the bridge requires 1 lane for 2 directions of movement, while for the 11th year onwards it requires 2 lanes for 2 directions of movement and for the concept of vehicle movement on the existing road both on the Yos Sudarso road as well as independent roads are made separate from the bridge, so that local residents can carry out normal activities without any interference from the movement of vehicles on the bridge.

Abstract

the role played by pedestrian is noticeably becoming more important as part of transportation infrastructure. The number of pedestrian user increases especially in the big cities’ business district. Therefore, this study was constructed to study the pedestrian users’ satisfaction to the side walk facility. The study was conducted in the city of Surabaya, the Indonesian second biggest city. The study aimed the pedestrian users in some of the busiest districts in central of Surabaya. On the other hand, there have been many policies made by the Surabaya government to improve the pedestrian performance especially the side walk facility, such as making the pedestrian to be more colorful and attractive. The study used qualitative method and Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). There are twenty variables used as addressed objects to measure pedestrian users’ satisfaction level, which are civil service police, greening, parking space, bus stop, parking meter, intercept area, main hole, public sitting, bollard, pedestrian floor motif, disability facility, hand wash facility, portable toilet, direction map, street vendors, drinking water facility, pedestrian decoration and trash bin. The result shows that there are only two variables preforms above their importance level. The average of importance level is 4,021 while the average of performance level is 3,743. There is -0,278 gaps which indicates that the pedestrian performance is under the pedestrian users expectation. Moreover, based on the IPA, there is no one of the variables place in the first quadrant (high leverage, attributes to improve), while there are seven variables place in the second quadrant (attributes to maintain). There are eight variables performing as in the third quadrant (low priority) and lastly there are five variables perform as in the fourth quadrant (low leverage, attributes to de-emphasize).

Abstract

Keberadaan Jembatan penyeberangan orang (JPO) sangat dibutuhkan, terutama sekali jika berada di area pusat perdagangan, pendidikan maupun pemerintahan. Akan tetapi seringkali kondisi JPO terlihat memprihatinkan dengan banyaknya sampah dan kondisi struktur jembatan mengalami beberapa kerusakan, hal ini menimbulkan ke khawatiran tersendiri untuk pejalan kaki menggunakan JPO. Penurunan layak fungsi jembatan ini akibat kurangnya biaya perawatan, perubahan fungsi, serta kelalaian pemeliharaan dan perawatan rutin Jembatan penyeberangan orang (JPO), untuk itu perlu adanya peningkatan keandalan fisik JPO dan perlengkapannya dalam menunjang fungsi JPO untuk tercapainya unsur-unsur keselamatan, kenyamanan, kemudahan terutama mengacu pada standar dan pedoman teknis bangunan JPO yang dikeluarkan oleh Kementerian PU dan Perumahan Rakyat RI.

Abstract

Abstrak— Analisa dinamik pada struktur merupakan tahapan lanjutan bagi profesional konstruksidalam memahami bagaimana suatu struktur akan berperilaku. Jurnal ini meneliti konvergensiperhitungan numerik tiga metode yang sering digunakan, yaitu Newmark, Chung-Hulbert dan CentralDifference. Rangka beton 2 lantai akan menjadi acuan untuk melihat keandalan ketiga metodenumerik tersebut, ekstraksi matriks K dan matriks M akan diambil dari program bantu SAP2000 daniterasi numerik akan memakai python sebagai solver nya. Kecepatan konvergensi untuk kondisi tanpabeban luar dicapai lebih cepat 1.5% dengan eksplisit central difference, sedangkan Newmark danChung-Hulbert tetap mencapai konvergen meskipun dnegan pengaruh beban luar.Abstract - Dynamic analysis of structures is an advanced stage for construction professionals inunderstanding how a structure will behave. This journal examines the convergence of numericalcalculations of three frequently used methods, namely Newmark, Chung-Hulbert and CentralDifference. The 2-storey concrete frame will be a reference to see the reliability of the three numericalmethods, the extraction of matrix K and matrix M will be taken from the SAP2000 output andnumerical iteration will use python solver. The convergence rate for conditions without external loadwas achieved 1.5% faster with explicit central difference, while Newmark and Chung-Hulbert stillachieved convergence despite the influence of external loads.

Abstract

Roads are vital infrastructure for land transportation and one of the most critical aspects of development in the national and regional economy. According to the Central Statistics Agency for West Papua, the roads successfully built in West Papua Province were only 11,951,592 km until 2017. It comprises 1003.26 km, 2309,648 km, and 8,638,687 km of national, provincial, and regency roads, including Jalan Maruni - Manokwari City Limits. According to the Minister of PU-PR RI, this road type 2/2 UD length is 17.17 km and administratively connects two districts (West and South Manokwari). One of the areas in West Papua Province where the development of infrastructure, investment, and urbanization is very rapid is Manokwari Regency. In line with the change in government status, its development then changed the physical image of the region to become urban. It is because Sorong City has a strategic economic location concerning natural resources, high accessibility, and is the center of the provincial government, thus attracting other financial functions for investment. This movement burdens road infrastructure, and we need several alternative treatments to improve the service of the street segment above. The method is done through surveys of stakeholders on alternative handling, and then the results are analyzed using multiple linear regression. This research is expected to find alternative handling solutions to improve road services in this segment.
