Abstract

Minyak goreng merupakan kebutuhan pokok manusia sebagai bahan dalam pengolahan berbagai jenis makanan. Memasuki Februari 2022 terjadi fenomena dikalangan ibu rumah tangga yang mengeluhkan tingginya harga minyak goreng, tidak hanya harganya yang tinggi namun juga semakin sulitnya untuk didapat dipasaran. Mencermati hal tersebut maka diperlukan solusi lain untuk mengatasi kelangkaan minyak sehingga kebutuhan masyarakat dapat dipenuhi, salah satunya dengan mengganti minyak goreng berbahan sawit dengan minyak berbahan baku kelapa. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PkM) dilaksanakan di Desa pulau Busuk Kecamatan Inuman, Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi. Waktu pelaksanaan PkM dari bulan Juni hingga Agustus 2022. Kegiatan terdiri dari survei lokasi, kegiatan penyuluhan dan pelatihan, dan pada akhir kegiatan akan dilaksanakan monitoring dan keberlanjutan program. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa seluruh peserta (100%) sangat antusias dalam mengikuti kegiatan penyuluhan, Hasil kegiatan pelatihan pengolahan minyak kelapa yang dilakuan kepada ibu PKK menunjukkan bahwa teknologi pengolahan sederhana minyak kelapa dapat diterima dengan mudah oleh peserta (92%). Semua peserta membutuhkan pelatihan pengolahan minyak (100%), sebanyak 100% peserta setelah pelatihan memahami cara pengolahan minyak kelapa dengan teknologi sederhana.

Abstract

Tanaman kelapa sawit ( Eleis guineesis jacq ) merupakan tanaman perkebunan yang memiliki arti penting bagi pembangunan nasional,selain mampu menyediakan lapangan kerja, hasil dari tanaman ini juga merupakan sumber devisa Negara. Kendala yang dihadapi para petani adalah perawatan yang masih kurang optimal diantaranya dalam hal pengendalian gulma pada tanaman belum menghasilkan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini menggunakan metode penyuluhan dan pelatihan yang diawali dengan identifikasi permasalahan dengan melakukan survey dan diskusi dengan pengumpulan materi kegiatan penyuluhan yang berkenaan dengan pengendalian gulma pada tanaman kelapa sawit; penyebaran pretest kuesioner materi pelatihan disampaikan dalam konsep ceramah; dan diskusi serta dilakukan kegiatan pelatihan pengendalian Gulma serta pada akhir kegiatan dilakukan evaluasi kegiatan. Peserta secara keseluruhan berpastisipasi secara aktif dalam mengikuti pelaksanaan kegiatan mulai dari penyajian materi, diskusi, pengisian kuisioner, dan praktek. 100% peserta hadir dalam kegiatan ini, memahami materi yang disampaikan, dan setuju dengan daur ulang sampah anorganik. Pelatihan dan penyuluhan teknik pengendalian gulma pada tanaman kelapa sawit di desa siberobah dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat yang tergabung dalam kelompok tadi perkebunan terlihat pada hasil evaluasi kegiatan PkM bahwa telah terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan peserta.

Abstract

The increase in waste is increasing day by day, for this reason it is necessary to utilize waste, both organic and inorganic waste. The purpose of this training is to increase public knowledge about how to manage waste into something useful. The target of this community service activity is housewives. The method of implementing community service activities is in the form of lectures and demonstrations. Lecture activities in the form of explanations about waste, types of waste, waste management, and 3R (reduce, reuse, recycle). For demonstration activities, namely the management of inorganic waste into recycled creations. The implementation of this activity went well, enthusiastic participants who were excited to take part in this training. In carrying out the exercise activities the participants enthusiastically participated in it. Community service activities as a whole can be said to be good and successful, judging from the success of the target number of training participants (100%), 100% of participants present in this activity understand the material presented, and agree with the use of waste through waste recycling. Prior to the training, more than 70% of the participants did not know about waste utilization because they had never participated in waste management socialization, and could not recycle inorganic waste. Service activities can increase the knowledge of housewives about waste management into various recycling creations and empower them in managing organic and inorganic waste. Abstract

Cow urine waste is unused waste that is still scattered in Pebaun Hulu village, Kuantan Mudik District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. Currently, cattle waste, especially urine, causes environmental pollution, which disrupts people's comfort. This community service activity aims to train the community, especially the youth of Pebaun Hulu village, to utilize cow urine into liquid organic fertilizer (POC) using fermentation techniques with EM-4. The target of the training activities is the youth of Pebaun Hulu village. Training activities were carried out over two meetings. Based on the pre-test results, 80% of youth do not understand the benefits of fertilizer and do not understand how to make POC. The method used in the training consists of three stages, namely lecture, discussion and practice. The result of the training is that the youth of Pebaun Hulu village understand and understand how to make POC from cow urine found in their environment using the EM-4 fermentation technique. Through this activity, it has also changed the paradigm of the people of Pebaun Hulu village, Kuantan District, Kuantan Singingi Regency who consider cow dung as waste that can pollute the environment to be more useful.

Abstract

  Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi memiliki potensi genotipe padi lokal yang dapat dikembangkan, baik menjadi sumber plasma nutfah maupun bahan perbaikan sifat. Perlu karakterisasi tampilan generatif dari genotipe lokal tersebut. Tujuan penelitian yaitu untuk mengetahui karakterisasi tampilan generatif dari genotipe padi lokal asal Kuantan Singingi. Metode penelitian dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap faktorial digunakan pada penelitian ini diulang 3 kali dan masing-masing plot terdiri dari 3 sampel. Faktor G = Genotipe padi lokal, terdiri : A (Beras kuning umur panjang), B (Beras singgam putih), C (Beras samo putiah), D (Pulut kari), E (Beras limbayang) dan F (Beras kuning). Faktor P = Kombinasi Pupuk, terdiri : P1 = 0 + 100, P2 = 25 + 75, P3 = 50 + 50, P4 = 75 + 25  dan P5 = 100 + 0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan umur keluar malai (hst) tercepat terdapat pada genotipe beras kuning (96,80 hari setelah tanam). Bobot gabah kering giling yang terberat pada genotipe beras samo putiah dan P1 = 0 + 100 (Tanpa pupuk organik + Urea 300, SP-36 100 kg/ha, KCl 100 kg/ha) 105,00 gram. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan jumlah anakan produktif per rumpun, total jumlah anakan per rumpun, bobot gabah kering giling per rumpun berpengaruh nyata secara interaksi antara perlakuan kombinasi dosis pupuk dengan perlakuan genotipe padi lokal. Genotipe beras samo putiah dapat digunakan sebagai sumber plasma nutfah berdasarkan hasil bobot berat kering giling (respon terhadap pemupukan).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh variasi tingkat Electrical Conductivity (EC) terhadap serapan hara N, P, dan K pada tiga varietas cabai merah (Capsicum annuum L.) menggunakan sistem irigasi kapiler. Penelitian menggunakan rancangan petak terbagi (Split Plot Design) dengan pola Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL), dimana petak utama adalah tingkat EC (2,0; 2,5; dan 3,0 dS/m) dan anak petak adalah tiga varietas cabai merah (Lado F1, Kawat, dan Laris). Sistem irigasi kapiler dirancang menggunakan prinsip negative pressure differential irrigation (NPDI) dengan media tanam campuran tanah dan pupuk kandang (3:1). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya interaksi nyata antara varietas dan tingkat EC terhadap bobot kering tanaman, dengan varietas Lado F1 menunjukkan respons terbaik. Varietas berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap jumlah dan kerapatan stomata, dimana Lado F1 memiliki nilai tertinggi (6,77 mm dan 34,57 mm²), diikuti Kawat (5,56 mm dan 28,34 mm²), dan Laris terendah (3,77 mm dan 19,26 mm²). Peningkatan EC dari 1,5 ke 2,5 dS/m meningkatkan kadar dan serapan hara N, P, dan K pada semua varietas, dengan varietas Laris menunjukkan efisiensi serapan hara terbaik. Produktivitas cabai merah tidak dipengaruhi secara signifikan oleh tingkat EC (P-value = 0,923), namun sangat dipengaruhi oleh varietas (P-value = 0,000), dengan varietas Laris mencapai produktivitas tertinggi (15,84 ton/ha), diikuti Lado F1 (15,18 ton/ha), dan Kawat terendah (13,35 ton/ha). Sistem irigasi kapiler terbukti efektif dalam menyediakan nutrisi yang optimal pada rentang EC 2,0-3,0 dS/m, dengan EC optimum 2,0-2,5 dS/m untuk memaksimalkan serapan hara dan produktivitas cabai merah.

Abstract

Aquascape is the art of arranging water plants, rocks, sand, coral and ornamental fish placed in an aquarium so that it gives the effect of gardening in water. Green Cabomba (Cabomba caroliniana) is an aquatic plant. Hepagro Liquid Organic Fertilizer (POC) is a liquid fertilizer resulting from the fermentation of micro-organisms made from industrial liquid waste based on the nutrient content of Hepagro POC Carbon (C), Phosphorus (P), Nitrogen (N), Potassium (K), Calcium (Ca) and Magnesium (Mg). This research aims to determine the effect of Hepagro liquid organic fertilizer (POC) on the growth of Green Cabomba (Cabomba caroloniana) plants. The research design used was a Non Factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 4 treatments and 3 replications, consisting of P0 (No Hepagro Fertilizer), P1 (12.5 ml/l Hepagro Fertilizer), P2 (25 ml/l Hepagro Fertilizer ) and P3 (Hepagro Fertilizer 37.5 ml/l). Based on the research results, giving Hepgro POC treatment had a real influence on all observation parameters with the best treatment being P3 37.5 ml/l with plant height 22.17 cm, stem diameter 2.21 mm, root length 7.10 cm and plant fresh weight 3 .95 grams.

Abstract

Aquascape is an artistic activity in arranging and planting water plants, rocks and wood aesthetically in an aquarium so as to provide an underwater gardening effect. Rotala rotundifolia (Buch.-Ham. ex Roxb.) Koehne is one of the Lythraceae family and is an aquatic plant. Ferti One plus fertilizer is a concentrated liquid fertilizer with a formula containing all the essential micro nutrient elements Boron (Bo), Chlorine (Cl), Copper (Cu), Iron (Fe), Manganese (Mn), Molybdenum (Mo), Nickel (Ni). ), Zinc (Zn), Aluminum (Al), Cobalt, Selenium, Silicon (Si), Sodium and enriched with stabilized iron complex. This research aims to determine the appropriate concentration of Ferti One Plus fertilizer on the growth of Rotala Rotundifolia (Buch.-ham. Ex roxb.) plants. The design used in this research was a non-factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 4 treatments, the study consisted of P0 (No Ferti One Plus Fertilizer), P1 (Ferti One Plus Fertilizer 2.5 ml/liter), P2 (Fertilizer ferti one plus 5 ml/liter) and P3 (Ferti one plus fertilizer 7.5 ml/liter). Based on the results of research on giving concentration of Ferti One Plus fertilizer, it can be concluded that giving P3 (Ferti One Plus Fertilizer 7.5 ml/liter) is the best for plant height and root length, namely height 25.18 cm and root length 4 cm. However, it had no real effect on plant fresh weight and stem diameter in rotala rotundifolia plants.

Abstract

Based on the research results, giving Hepgro POC treatment had a real influence on all observation parameters with the best treatment being P3 37.5 ml/l with a plant height of 16.17 cm, stem diameter of 1.68 mm, root length of 1.43 cm and fresh weight. plant 0.60 grams.

Abstract

Oil palm planting should pay attention to technology and fertilization management. The hope in cultivating oil palm plants is the results/production of the fruit. The community in Kinali Village has begun to convert rubber plantations into oil palm plantations. However, some people still do not know the importance of understanding and implementing fertilization properly. The method of community service activities is to start identifying problems through dialogue which is continued with extension and training activities. In order to measure the level of satisfaction with the activities carried out, a questionnaire was distributed. The results of this activity showed that the community was very satisfied (83,33 %) with the extension and training provided. The importance of this activity is because it increases knowledge, changes mindsets and changes the treatment of community oil palm plants. So that it can increase community income.
