Abstract

ABSTRAKKelompok Usaha Kopi Luwak Manglayang (KLM) berusaha mengembangkan agrowisata kopi  luwak dengan menerapkan  kaidah kesejahteraan hewan di kawasan kaki Gunung Manglayang, namun saat ini belum dikembangkan secara optimal. Penelitian dilakukan pada kelompok usaha KLM, di kaki Gunung Manglayang. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan teknik penelitian studi kasus. Rancangan analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif kualitatif, analisis matriks IFE, analisis matriks EFE, dan analisis SWOT. Dari hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan diketahui bahwa kegiatan agrowisata kopi luwak yang telah dilakukan oleh KLM mulai dari edukasi mengenai proses produksi kopi luwak dengan menerapkan kaidah kesejahteraan satwa hingga wisata kuliner. Strategi yang telah dilakukan oleh KLM dalam pengembangan agrowisata kopi luwak adalah membuat rencana dalam perbaikan fasilitas di lokasi KLM, meningkatkan cita rasa kopi yang dihasilkan oleh KLM, dan melakukan promosi agrowisata KLM melalui media sosial. Strategi yang paling tepat dan diutamakan dalam pengembangan agrowisata KLM yaitu strategi agresif dengan meningkatkan berbagai daya tarik agrowisata KLM serta memperluas pemasaran agrowisata KLM.Kata kunci: agrowisata, strategi pengembangan, analisis SWOTABSTRACTKelompok Usaha Kopi Luwak Manglayang (KLM) trying to develop civet coffee agrotourism by applying animal welfare rules in the Manglayang Mountain, but currently it has not been optimally developed. The study was conducted at Kelompok Usaha Kopi Luwak Manglayang (KLM), at Manglayang Mountain. The research design used is qualitative with case study research techniques. The data analysis design used qualitative descriptive analysis, IFE matrix analysis, EFE matrix analysis, and SWOT analysis. The results showed that the civet coffee agrotourism activities conducted by KLM started from education about the production process of civet coffee by applying animal welfare principles to culinary tourism. Strategies that have been made by KLM in the development of agro civet coffee is making plans in facility improvements at the site of KLM, enhance the flavor of the coffee produced by KLM and KLM agrotourism promotion through social media. The most appropriate strategy and priority in the development of agro-KLM is an aggressive strategy to increase the variety of agro-tourism appeal and expand marketing agro KLM KLM.Keywords : agrotourism, development strategy, SWOT analysis

Abstract

ABSTRAKCirebon sudah dikenal sebagai salah satu daerah penghasil mangga. Tetapi sampai sekarang, agribisnis mangganya belum mampu mempertahankan kualitas dan menjamin ketersediaan mangga sepanjang tahun. Permasalahan tersebut merupakan akibat dari dinamisnya perilaku agribisis yang dilakukan oleh para petaninya, sehingga pengembangan agribisnis mangga di era globalisasi harus didasarkan pada peningkatan perilaku agribisnis petani mangga ke arah yang lebih baik. Tujuan makalah ini adalah menganalisis faktor-faktor apa saja yang menentukan peningkatan perilaku agribisnis petani mangga. Metode penelitian menggunakan teknik survey di Kecamatan Greged Kabupeten Cirebon menggunakan teknik simple ramdom sampling kepada 130 petani mangga. Teknik analisis data dilakukan menggunakan path analysis. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa secara berurutan dari yang terbesar ke terkecil, faktor yang paling kuat pengaruhnya secara signifikan dalam menentukan peningkatan perilaku agribisnis petani mangga adalah faktor sumberdaya dengan pengaruh langsung sebesar 5,7% dan pengaruh tak langsung sebesar 3,5%, faktor berikutnya adalah faktor kelembagaan dengan pengaruh langsung sebesar 6,4% dan pengaruh tak langsung sebesar 1,8%, kemudian faktor budaya dengan pengaruh langsung sebesar 5,3% dan pengaruh tak langsung sebesar 1,7% dan terakhir faktor teknologi dengan pengaruh langsung sebesar 2,3% dan pengaruh tak langsung sebesar 2,5%.Kata kunci: Faktor penentu, dinamika perilaku agribisnis, agribisnis mangga, path analysisABSTRACTCirebon is already known as one of the mango-producing regions. But until now, mangosteen agribusiness has not been able to maintain quality and guarantee the availability of mangoes throughout the year. These problems are a result of the dynamic agribusiness behavior carried out by the farmers, so that the development of mango agribusiness in the era of globalization must be based on improving the agribusiness behavior of mango farmers in a better direction. The purpose of this paper is to analyze what factors determine the increase in agribusiness behavior of mango farmers. The research method used survey techniques in the Greged District of Cirebon Regency using a simple ramdom sampling technique to 130 mango farmers. Data analysis techniques are done using path analysis. The results of the study show that sequentially from the largest to the smallest, the most influential factor significantly in determining the increase in agribusiness behavior of mango farmers is the resource factor with a direct influence of 5.7% and indirect effects of 3.5%, the next factor is institutional factors with a direct effect of 6.4% and indirect effects of 1.8%, then cultural factors with a direct influence of 5.3% and indirect effects of 1.7% and finally technological factors with a direct effect of 2, 3% and indirect effect of 2.5%.Keywords: Determinants, dynamics of agribusiness behavior, mango agribusiness, path analysis

Abstract

ABSTRAKPetani masa kini dituntut memiliki jiwa kewirausahaan dan juga kemampuan manajemen usaha yang baik sehingga memiliki daya saing yang tinggi untuk menghadapi perubahan yang terjadi dalam dunia bisnis pertanian.  Tantangan bagi sektor pertanian di Indonesia saat ini adalah memfasilitasi pengembangan wirausaha petani muda agar menjadi petani modern di masa depan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui transformasi petani sebagai hasil dari proses pendidikan kewirausahaan yang diberikan kepada petani muda terdidik. Mereka adalah lulusan Perguruan Tinggi (Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Padjadjaran) yang mengikuti Program Wirausaha Muda Pertanian (PWMP). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan kompetensi kewirausahaan dapat diarahkan kepada petani muda terdidik yang memiliki semangat yang besar untuk berkembang. Petani muda yang berasal dari lulusan Perguruan Tinggi menjadi sangat potensial karena umumnya mereka memiliki keberanian mengambil risiko,  mampu mengenali kelebihan atau potensi dirinya, selalu berorientasi pada proses dan hasil, adaptif terhadap perubahan, selalu berinovasi untuk kemajuan usahanya, bersedia untuk berjejaring dan berkolaborasi secara positif dengan pihak lain sehingga semua pihak dapat berkembang dan sukses secara bersama – sama, selalu membangun jaringan usaha (silaturahmi) dengan mitra dan stakeholder.Kata kunci: Wirausaha Muda, Kolaboratif, Transformasi, Petani MudaABSTRACTModern farmers must have an entrepreneurial spirit as well as good business management skills so it has a high competitiveness to cope with business changes. The challenge for the agricultural sector in Indonesia at this time is to facilitate the development of young entrepreneur farmers to become a modern farmer in the future. This study aims to determine the transformation of farmers as a result of the entrepreneurship education process provided to educated young farmers. They are graduates of Higher Education (Faculty of Agriculture, Padjadjaran University) who follow the Programe. The results show that the development of entrepreneurial competence can be directed to educated young farmers who have a great passion to be an entrepreneurial farmers. Young become very potential because generally they have the courage to take risks, be able to recognize their strengths or potentials, always oriented to process and outcomes, adaptive to change, always innovate for the progress of their business, willing to network and collaborate positively with other parties so that all parties can grow and succeed together, always build a business network with partners and stakeholders.Keywords: Young Entrepreneur, Collaborative, Transformation, Young Farmers   Kata kunci: Wirausaha Muda, Kolaboratif, Transformasi, Petani Muda

Abstract

As one of the largest mango producers in the world, there are still problems faced by farmers in terms of product quality and productivity. The quantity and quality of mango produced by farmers is influenced by the behavior of mango farmers in their farming activities. This research were aimed to analyze: 1) farmers perception of mango farming in Cirebon Regency; 2) behavior of farmers in mango farming in Cirebon Regency; 3) Factors related to farmer behavior in mango farming in Cirebon Regency. The research was conducted by survey-explanatory method. Respondents in this study were 130 mango farmers who were taken at random by multi-stage random sampling technique. Descriptive statistical analysis and Spearman rank correlation analysis were used to answer the research objectives. The result of analysis showed that most farmers have not applied fertilization technique, the use of growth regulators and pest management as recommended. Price stability was a factor associated with farmer behavior in various activities of his farming. Efforts were needed to ensure price stability received by farmers so that farmers are more motivated to improve productivity and yield quality.Keywords: mango, behavior, farmers, farming

Abstract

Most young farmers in Cibodas Village, Lembang Sub-district are able to develop agriculture with modern patterns and keep up with technological developments. But, the farmer still running their agribusiness enterprises individually. The purpose of this study was to determine the characteristics of young farmers as well as the correlation with group interest and to determine the level of interest of farmers towards farmers’ group. This research is a quantitative descriptive study using an aritmaticmean and rank spearman analysis tool, the selection of samples in this study is using a purposive sampling technique of 100 samples. The results of this study show that young farmers are dominated by male farmers aged 38-44 years, at most junior high school educated and have experience of farming no more than 10 years. Access to information obtained by farmers is easy to obtain and most of them have land no more than 2.88 hectares, 78 people from 100 farmers are not affiliated with farmer groups. The level of interest of farmers is in a low category. The correlation between the characteristics of farmers and interest towards farmers’ group has a positive correlation, with indicators of education, farming experience, access to information and land area.

Abstract

Developments in industrial revolution 4.0 era occurred in various sectors, including in agricultural sector. This encourages the growth of online retailers to sell farmers' crops such as vegetables and fruit. Consumers who initially shop at traditional or modern retail start shopping for vegetables and fruit at online retail. This change is influenced by changes in consumer purchasing behavior. Therefore this study aims to determine: 1) Factors that influence consumer purchasing decisions in shopping for vegetables and fruit in online retail. 2) The influence of these factors on the decision to buy vegetables and fruit in online retail. The method used in this study is a survey per consumer, respondents were taken using non-probability sampling techniques. The total sample population in this study was calculated using the Slovin formula. The results showed that. 1. Overall these factors have a significant contribution and influence, partially (separately) factors that significantly influence the psychological factors and personal factors, while social and cultural factors have no significant effect. 2. Simultaneously (together), psychological, personal, social and cultural factors can explain 54.4% of the decision to purchase vegetables and fruit in online retail.

Abstract

This paper aims to explore how social networks provide farmers with access to resources, understanding the extent to which farmers with agricultural and non-agricultural backgrounds build their business networks. The research methodology is qualitative. Data was collected between October 2020 – June 2021, through semi-structured interviews with 30 farmers in West Java. There are 15 farmers who have an agricultural background, and 15 of them are novice farmers who do not have an agricultural background. The results showed that strong and weak ties each contributed to novice farmers in accessing resources. Beginner farmers who are not from the agricultural environment struggle harder to build business networks, making greater sacrifices in accessing the resources they need. Farmers with non-agricultural backgrounds are able to access material resources which are usually obtained from strong social ties. With hard effort and sacrifice, they are able to get resources from weak social ties. Agriculture is a sector that is constantly undergoing rapid changes, so these two groups of farmers must be able to move quickly, across “borders” to access resources in innovative ways from various existing sources.

Abstract

The application of conventional farming systems causes negative impacts for the environment and consumers, an effort made to deal with the negative impact is by changing conventional farming systems into organic. In 2010, the government released the Go Organic program and the area of certified organic farming reached into maximum point in that year. Until now there are many farmers who claim that their agricultural products are the organic one. Mekar Tani Jaya Farmer Group has conducted organic cultivation for 18 years. The aim of this research is to find out  the application of organic farming system in Mekar Tani Jaya in accordance with SNI 6729: 2016, and also to know what are the obstacles faced by Mekar Tani Jaya in the implementation of organic farming system. This research is used qualitative descriptive method with through a case study technique. This research also using Miles and Huberman data analysis model and  fishbone analysis model. The results is the percentage of conformity organic farming system by Mekar Tani Jaya Farmer Group with SNI 6729 : 2016 is about 94 percent (%). Meanwhile, the main problem that faced by Mekar Tani Jaya  Farmer Group is not all of the organic farming system according to SNI 6729: 2016 can be applied thus make an impact to other aspects.Keywords: Organic Farming, SNI 6729 : 2016, farmer group.

Abstract

Currently the development of the financial services industry with a touch of technological innovation or called financial technology (Fintech) began to penetrate into the agricultural sector, even utilization is used to work on the scale of business at the farm level. One form of Fintech implementation in the agricultural sector is crowdfunding which is a fund raising activity for farmers capital by online using digital media (internet). One of the crowdfunding platforms in Indonesia which is engaged in agriculture is Crowde. This study aims to find out the description of crowdfunding management concepts conducted by Crowde as access to alternative capital based on digital technology on agricultural activities and to know the response of farmers partners to the concept of crowdfunding conducted by Crowde. The research technique used is case study with descriptive qualitative design using Milles Model and Huberman approach. The results show that during the planning phase, Crowde conducts farmer profilling and project analysis, and establishes provision fees. While the implementation stage of crowdfunding involves raising funds on the website, channeling capital through a farm shop and refunding investors through the Wallet feature. While the controlling phase takes place during the project through the project monitoring and reporting system. Crowde partner farmers showed a positive response to the crowdfunding scheme as access to capital. Most of the partner farmers say the process or procedure of the capital scheme is very easy to follow and judge that the crowdfunding model is very useful and suitable as access to farmers' capital.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how the relationship between entrepreneurial characteristics and the success of Horticulture Farmers in Cibodas Village, Lembang District, West Bandung Regency. This research uses quantitative design with descriptive survey method. The research sample was taken by probability sampling method. Data analysis was carried out descriptively statistically and using Rank Spearman correlation analysis tools. The results showed that the average sample of farmers was male, in productive age, had received a 9-year compulsory education program, and had a business scale of 417.34 Tumbak. Entrepreneurial characteristics possessed by farmers are included in the criteria of "Good" with a percentage of 77.05%, Farming success is included in the criteria of "Good" with a percentage of 77.2%, and the results of the study show there is a positive correlation on all characteristics.
