Abstract

One crucial issue affecting the performance of sentiment analysis tasks is negation. Handling negation involves determining the negation scope and negation cue. Feature space augmentation is one approach used to address negation. Feature space augmentation has been carried out by some previous researchers using a negation flag with the rule that the negation scope includes all words from the explicit negation cue to the punctuation mark. This study aimed to analyze the classifier's performance when negation handling was applied by adding a new rule for the negation scope. The new rule for determining the negation scope no longer took all words from the negation cue to the punctuation mark, but only considered or ignored words with certain POS tags. The results of this study showed that using the new rule for negation scope contributed to improving the performance of the classifier in sentiment analysis tasks. The proposed approach for negation handling was better than the previous approach in terms of accuracy, precision, recall, and f1-score.

Abstract

Seboro Village, which is located in Probolinggo Regency, has a BUMDES whose business unit is the “Sumber Abadi” Drinking Water Supply Facility Management Group (KP.SPAM). The group is engaged in the field of consumption water which will be used by the people of Seboro Village who subscribe. In its implementation, the manager will monitor the use of conventional consumer water discharge by coming to each house that subscribes as a step to calculate the cost of billing water usage per month. This community service activity program aims to make it easier for water managers to monitor the use of consumer water discharge in the "Sumber Abadi" Drinking Water Procurement Facility Management Group (KP.SPAM) by creating an IoT-based smart water system using Photovoltaic. With the smart water system, it is hoped that the manager's work in monitoring the use of water discharge for consumers will be more effective and efficient because the manager does not need to record directly to the location of the consumer's home and can do this by monitoring the use of water discharge using apps/websites remotely. Another advantage of this tool is that data storage management for water discharge usage is more regular because the data will be stored on a cloud server. The source of electricity from an IoT-based smart water system device using photovoltaic as a renewable energy from solar irradiation is converted to electrical energy as a step from environmentally friendly energy. Abstract

Negation plays an essential role in sentiment analysis within natural language processing (NLP). Its integration involves two key aspects: identifying the scope of negation and incorporating this information into the sentiment model. Before delving into scope detection, the specific negation cue must be identified, with explicit and implicit negation cues being the two main types. Various methodologies, such as rule-based, machine learning, and hybrid approaches, address the negation scope detection challenge. Strategies for leveraging negation information in sentiment models encompass heuristic polarity modification, feature space augmentation, end-to-end approach, and hierarchical multi-task learning. Notably, there is a need for more studies addressing implicit negation cue detection, even within the state-of-the-art bidirectional encoder representation for transformers (BERT) approach. Some studies have employed reinforcement learning and hybrid techniques to address the implicit negation problem. Further exploration, particularly through a hybrid and multi-task learning approach, is warranted to make potential contributions to the nuanced challenges of handling negation in sentiment analysis, especially in complex sentence structures.

Abstract

The MBKM ( Independence Learing Independent Campus ) activity organized by the Faculty of Economics and Business, Tadulako University which was held on September 6 2022 to January 10 2023, located in Padende Villsge, Marawola District, Sigi District, we received very good enthusiasm from the local community. The promotion strategy in increasing sales of taro chips business products in Padende Village Marawola sub-district, Sigi district must carry out promotions so that these products can be sold, there are several factors that make taro chips products not develop, namaly: There is no cooperation with the business actors, do not carry out public promotions, or promotions on social media. The aim of this research is to help taro chips products increase sales and be able to compete with other chipproducts.The social approach here is an attempt by universities, especially MBKM students as the main actors in MBKM to integrate themselves (assimilate themselves) into various community activites at the MBKM location. Shep in the process of taro chips products: Observing and surveying taro chips products, and analyzing the taro chip product itself.

Abstract

Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) is an effective Deep Learning (DL) algorithm that solves various image identification problems. The use of CNN for time-series data analysis is emerging. CNN learns filters, representations of repeated patterns in the series, and uses them to forecast future values. The network performance may depend on hyperparameter settings. This study optimizes the CNN architecture based on hyperparameter tuning using Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO), PSO-CNN. The proposed method was evaluated using multivariate time-series data of electronic journal visitor datasets. The CNN equation in image and time-series problems is the input given to the model for processing numbers. The proposed method generated the lowest RMSE (1.386) with 178 neurons in the fully connected and 2 hidden layers. The experimental results show that the PSO-CNN generates an architecture with better performance than ordinary CNN.

Abstract

AbstrakDesa mempunyai peranan penting dalam menunjang kesuksesan pembangunan nasional. Keberhasilan pemerintahan desa sangat tergantung dengan penataan sistem administrasi desa. Semakin baik penataan sistem administrasi desa, maka tata kelola pemerintahan desa juga akan semakin baik. Desa Sukorejo adalah desa yang terletak di Kecamatan Gondanglegi Kabupaten Malang yang pelayanan administrasi desanya masih menggunakan sistem manual. Sebagai upaya untuk mengatasi kebutuhan tersebut maka dikembangkan teknologi Sistem Manajemen Administrasi Desa (SIMANDES) berbasis website untuk menunjang layanan sistem administrasi desa. Metode dalam pelaksanaan pengabdian ini menggunakan konsep yang mengadopsi dari Vincent II, J. W, yaitu Membentuk Tim, Merumuskan Tujuan, Mengidentifikasi Mitra, Pengumpulan Data untuk Analisis Kebutuhan, Menentukan Solusi Masalah, Persiapan, Implementasi, Pelatihan, serta Review dan Evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian ini yaitu sebesar 92,50% warga dapat dengan mudah menggunakan dan mengoperasikan aplikasi SIMANDES, serta 90,30% warga menilai aplikasi SIMANDES dapat meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas pelayanan administrasi desa di Desa Sukorejo Kecamatan Gondanglegi Kabupaten Malang. Kata kunci: sistem manajemen administrasi desa; website; sukorejo kabupaten malang. Abstract Villages have an important role in supporting the success of national development. The success of village government is very dependent on the arrangement of the village administration system. Sukorejo Village is a village located in Gondanglegi District, Malang Regency whose village administration services still use a manual system. To address this need, a website-based Village Administration Management System (SIMANDES) technology was developed to support village administration system services. The method for implementing this activity uses the approach from Vincent II, J. W, namely Team Formation, Goal Formulation, Partner Identification, Needs Gathering and Analysis, Determining Problem Solution Priorities, Preparation, Implementation, Training and Mentoring, as well as Review and Evaluation. The results of the activity were that 92.50% of residents could easily use and operate the SIMANDES application, and 90.30% of residents assessed that the SIMANDES application could improve the efficiency and effectiveness of village administration services in Sukorejo Village, Gondanglegi District, Malang Regency Keywords: village administration management system; website; sukorejo malang regency.

Abstract

Research in the game field is increasingly numerous and challenging. The high interest in research on games is influenced by public awareness of the importance of games in developing ways of thinking, although it is undeniable that many people only pursue pleasure in playing games. In the past, not much games research has influenced into topics such as artificial intelligence, education, or other computer topics. But now games are having a tremendous impact on these topics. In fact, not infrequently games are used in various areas of life. Right now, artificial intelligence is an integral part of the game. If before, it was only used for creating an enemy. Right now artificial intelligence can affect various things, starting from assets, game difficulty levels, non-player characters (NPC), and even bots (AI agents) to run player characters. The complexity of artificial intelligence which is getting higher and higher requires a good optimization algorithm. The evolutionary algorithm is one of the optimization algorithms, even though it cannot find the best one, with the high speed it can find a good solution. Through this paper review, good conclusions are drawn regarding the use of evolutionary algorithms, representations made, fitness functions used, ways to prove a success, to what topics should be studied further.

Abstract

Konsumsi sepatu di Indonesia mencapai 3,2% dari total konsumsi alas kaki dunia, menunjukkan potensi pasar besar untuk produk perawatan sepatu. Metode perawatan yang umum digunakan masih terbatas pada pengeringan konvensional dengan sinar matahari, yang membutuhkan waktu lebih lama  saat musim hujan atau malam hari. Penelitian ini mengusulkan solusi dengan menciptakan alat pengering sepatu menggunakan pemanas dan kipas yang meningkatkan suhu untuk mempercepat pengeringan. Alat ini dikendalikan oleh ESP32 dengan masukan dari tombol dan dilengkapi layar LCD. Sensor DHT22 digunakan untuk mendeteksi kelembaban dan suhu, sementara pemanas dan kipas DC berfungsi sebagai aktuator yang dikontrol dengan algoritma fuzzy logic. Metode R&D digunakan dalam penelitian ini, meliputi studi literatur, perencanaan, pengumpulan bahan, pembuatan, pengujian, dan analisis hasil.  Hasil penelitian ini adalah prototipe alat pengering sepatu yang dapat mengeringkan sepatu pada malam hari dan segala cuaca.

Abstract

Bank Indonesia mendefinisikan inflasi merupakan meningkatkan harga-harga secara umum dan terus-menerus. Kenaikan harga barang dan jasa dapat disebut inflasi apabila kenaikan tersebut meluas atau mempengaruhi kenaikan harga lainnya. Naiknya harga barang dan jasa tersebut dapat menyebabkan turunnya nilai uang. Dengan ini, inflasi dapat menurunkan nilai uang terhadap nilai barang dan jasa secara umum. Jika inflasi yang terjadi dapat dikendalikan dengan baik, tingkat inflasi tersebut dapat memberikan dampak positif terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu dapat memprediksi tingkat inflasi agar inflasi dapat dikontrol tiap bulannya dan dapat meberikan dampak yang positif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode jaringan syaraf tiruan yang sesuai digunakan pada data time series dengan data training. Data yang digunakan adalah data inflasi bulanan kelompok pengeluaran dari bulan Desember 2011 sampai Desember Januari 2020 diambil dari Badan Pusat Statistik. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat membantu untuk memutuskan tindakan yang tepat berdasarkan hasil prediksi. Pengujian menggunakan beberapa model diperoleh hasil terbaik dari model dengan konfigurasi 7-15-1 dengan learning rate 0,01 yang menghasilkan MSE sebesar 0,026. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa jaringan syaraf tiruan dapat digunakan untuk prediksi inflasi dengan akurasi yang tinggi.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) pada industri perikanan bukanlah hal yang mustahil. Kombinasi IoT dan budidaya perikanan sehingga pelaku bisnis perikanan dapat dengan mudah memantau lingkungan tambak secara realtime. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah diciptakannya prototipe kendali otomatis dan monitor nilai pH, suhu, kekeruhan, dan ketinggian air berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) pada kolam budidaya ikan air tawar pada industri perikanan. Target luaran yang dicapai berupa prototipe kendali otomatis dan monitor nilai pH, suhu, kekeruhan, dan ketinggian air berbasis IoT pada budidaya ikan air tawar. Pengembangan sistem dimulai dengan perancangan perangkat keras, perancangan perangkat lunak, realisasi alat, pengujian alat, serta analisis hasil pengujian. Penerapan IoT dalam kolam ikan dapat membantu petani dalam mengendalikan dan memantau kualitas air dalam kolam ikan air tawar melalui smartphone. Sistem kendali dan monitor alat ini bekerja secara otomatis, sehingga petani tidak perlu datang ke lokasi secara langsung untuk mengukur kualitas air, serta memudahkan petani yang memiliki banyak kolam ikan. Dari pengujian yang telah dilakukan, dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa sistem dapat bekerja dengan baik untuk mengontrol kualitas air kolam ikan sesuai dengan nilai parameter yang dikehendaki. Hasil pengujian tiap sensor mendapatkan nilai eror kurang dari 5%. Sistem sudah dapat berfungsi sesuai dengan yang diinginkan sehingga petani dapat dengan mudah untuk memantau kualitas air kolam ikan pada smartphone. Alat ini diharapkan dapat membantu peternak ikan air tawar dalam meningkatkan kualitas dan kuantitas produksinya.
