Abstract

Abstract Local wisdom of Pakraman Tenganan Pegringsingan villagers highly contributes to the conservation of forests in the village area. In today’s globalization and modernization era in which the existence of local wisdom is considered to be fading in various community groups, the community local wisdom in the form of awig-awig governing the forest management still exists until now. The consistent existence of local knowledge is closely linked to conservation efforts in order to maintain its existence in community live. This research aimed to describe the preservation of local wisdom in forest management undertaken by community members of Pakraman Pegringsingan Tenganan Village. The explanation of this used a dialectical theory of objective structures and subjective phenomena by Pierre Bourdieu. The research applied qualitative approach, and the informants were determined using purposive sampling. Data collection used observation, interview, and documentation. The research results showed that the efforts of local wisdom preservation in the form of awig-awig that governs the forest management in community of Tenganan Pakraman Pegringsingan village were conducted by documentation, systematization, translation improvement into Indonesian, and socialization of awig-awig. The local wisdom has been a habitus in the local community, in which the habitus is dialectically related to the field that supports the sustainability of local wisdom in the live of people in Pakraman Tenganan Pegringsingan.

Abstract

The study of Sufism in the context of social relations and taking place in the Tarekat Qadiriyah wa Naqsabandiyah is the main focus of this research. The purpose of this study is to explain the existence and discipline of the body that exist in the followers of the Tarekat Qadiriyah Wa Naqsabandiyah and its contextualization in their social relations. In addition, the articulation of religion in today's context is important because the development of religion presents various options in implementing religious teachings. Qualitative research method with phenomenological approach is the approach used in this research. The individual experience of the salik is studied by looking at the social relations that exist in them. In carrying out the tarekat, the salik are taught by their murshid to discipline the body in the form of certain practices and remembrance to bring up rhythm with the aim of continuity in taking the spiritual path closer to Allah. In the existential realm, the salik can be said to be in a state of religious awareness, although this awareness is not completely stable and consistent because of the psychological dynamics in the salik, but with routine directions given by the mursyid, these dynamics can be minimized. Contextualization of the reality of Post-Secularism in the context of the Qodiriyah wa Naqsabandiyah tarekat, is found in the attitudes and behavior of the salik when they meet disagreements in religious life that exist in society.

Abstract

Artikel dengan berjudul “Membangun Pola Komunikasi Peringatan Dini Daerah Aliran Sungai (DAS) Kali Jompo Kabupaten Jember”, dilatar belakangi oleh DAS Kali Jompo yang hampir setiap musim penghujan terjadi peristiwa banjir. Di sisi lain F PRB Kali Jompo sebagai Forum Pengurangan Risiko Bencana (F-PRB) pada DAS Kali Jompo program pengurangan risiko belum terstruktur terutama praktik kesiapsiagaan Peringatan Dini (Early Warning System). Tujuannya adalah memperkuat praktik komunikasi peringatan dini banjir pada DAS Kali Jompo yang lebih terstruktur dan efektif. Teori yang digunakan adalah komunikasi model Harol Laswell “Who says what in which channel to whom with what effect”. Teknik pengambilan data primer melalui observasi partisipan dan teknik Focus Group Discussion (FGD), sedangkan pengambilan data sekunder melalui dokumentasi. Teknik analisis menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif. Hasilnya adalah; pertama, komunikator dan komunikan adalah para petugas pos pantau sebanyak 9 (sembilan) titik yang tersebar mulai hulu sampai hilir DAS Jompo. Kedua, pola komunikasi peringatan dini antar pos pantau berlangsung secara timbal balik/dialog. Ketiga, Informasi dari pos pantau hulu yang diterima oleh pos pantau hilir disebarkan kepada masyarakat sekitar titik pantau dan masyarakat melakukan respon atas informasi yang diterima. Keempat, para petugas pos pantau menggunakan media komunikasi Hand Phone android, oleh karena Hand Phone android dapat mengirim pesan baik dalam rupa suara, tulisan, dan gambar sehingga pesan lebih aktual. Kelima, proses komunikasi pos pantau fluktuatif linier dengan dinamika ancaman.
